David was a fantastic photographer. I would highly recommend him for any events where you aim to achieve beautiful, varietal, and interesting photographs. He fit into our destination wedding group as if was an old friend and was truly professional the whole time. He was a great listener and was open to all needs and suggestions. We are very happy with the outcome of our albums. He has a very calm demeanor, and I found was very easy to work with. As a bride, I didn't have to worry about anything when it came to the perfect pictures to showcase my 3 day wedding event. Hiring David was one of the easiest decisions we made during wedding planning. My husband and I performed an exhaustive search of photographers and simply fell in love with David's work. It is so eye-catching and colorful and he really has a knack for capturing moments in time. His photos are anything but cliched wedding photography.

David photographed our wedding and he did a wonderful job. He was very professional and responsive in all our phone calls and correspondences leading up to the big day and had great suggestions on how to best take our photos. On our wedding day we did our photo session in Central Park before the ceremony at the church and the photographs turned out beautifully. He had great ideas for capturing all different kinds of shots, with different posses, different locations, etc. At the actual wedding and reception he was everywhere and yet invisible. I got a lot of great feedback from guests that noticed how hard he worked and how he always seemed to be in the right place at the right time to capture the most meaningful and beautiful shots. And he truly did. We are very happy with everything that he captured on our big day. After the reception we wanted to take some additional photographs in Rockefeller Center and even though the 10 hour day was up he was happy to oblige and we got some final, beautiful shots. The last picture of the night became our holiday card. I definitely recommend him.

Our friends had used David for their wedding & after I saw their pictures, I knew he was the only photographer I wanted to use for my wedding. It's almost 2 years since our wedding and as we look at the pictures every single day, we can only feel very lucky and grateful to have found David as our photographer. Can't I do more than 5 stars? David was the best. After interviewing David and looking at his wonderful portfolio, I felt the kids were making the right decision. Were they right, lets just say, my daughter and her husband had to buy a lot more frames. The images were fabulous, creative, beautiful and full of energy. He really captured the day. What is also important in selecting a photographer is making sure you like their personality as you will be spending a lot of time with them. David gets oodles of stars in this category too. Everyone loved him.

At the time of our wedding, my husband and I lived about an hour and a half from one another, and both of us had to drive at least 40 minutes to get to the church. To complicate things even more, it was a non-holiday Monday morning during rush hour, and we had close to 800 people attend. Oh, and it rained all day long.

Even so, David and co-photographer for the day, Neil, both arrived to our houses bright and early in the morning and did such a phenomenal job the whole day, despite having to deal with the weather and traveling. Some of my favorite photographs were panoramic shots they took in the church. Though the weather impeded our opportunity to take posed pictures outside, David and Neil did a bit of improvising and everything came out great.

On a personal note, I was a very emotional bride and did a lot of crying while getting ready. David was so friendly and reassuring, and he even made me laugh! I will always remember David's kindness and professionalism, and I would gladly recommend him to anyone looking for a great photographer.

David Mielcarek is a truly incredible and inspirational photographer. Since our wedding, my wife and I have recommended him to many friends and family members planning weddings (or other important events) who were looking for a truly unique photographer. Unlike most photographers, David focus is on the non-traditional photographs of an event. He is very creative and finds ways to get involved and capture images of the most important and intimate moments without being intrusive. David uses unique angles and vantage points from which to capture scenes of the wedding and some of these images were so powerful that they have shaped our memories of that day.

David is the most incredible photographer I have ever seen. He captured our wedding day and all of the love and emotion that went with it in the most wonderful way. We came across David while going through all of the information we received for our wedding. We were so impress by his work that we booked a meeting with him. It will be 5 years this September that my husband and I will be married, and we are still so thankful that David was there to capture each and every moment! David goes above and beyond the call of duty. He works "with" his clients, not just for. Every image that he has produced for us so far (wedding date: 5/31/08 so we haven't seen them all just yet) has been just AMAZING. David photographed our wedding back in 2007 and was truly amazing. Having someone with you, that you don't know, so much on the biggest day of your life can be nerve racking. But not with David. He made everyone feel at ease, kept things light and really had a great time WITH us. We kept saying "We want to hang out with him and be friends with him after all of this is done!" Lucky for us we've gotten to do a lot of that as he went on to photograph my sister's wedding, my husband's sister's wedding and a handful of our close friends' weddings. As for the wedding day itself, David captured so many STUNNING PHOTOS of friends, family, and the indoor/outdoor locations. He took photos of unexpected moments, and very modern photos, but he also took traditional photos that our parents appreciated. He even achieved the impossible, an outdoor photo shoot with about 60 members from my huge side of the family. He was able to direct everyone respectfully and quickly. He is also a good judge of people and personalities. He blends into the background so your wedding day is uninterrupted. I saw him quietly shoot photos of guests who didn’t want any attention, but then I saw him having really fun photo shoots with the more outgoing guests at our wedding.

Additionally, David was a very comforting person to have around on a wedding day when you can be a little nervous of all that’s going on. He made us feel at ease and my wife and I were so happy he was there.

Other than the EXCELLENT SERVICE, GOOD CREW, and the ARTISTIC QUALITY of David's photography, the best part is that he is a real GENTLEMAN, and just an all-around good person. Most importantly, my wife and I now feel like he is a member of our family because he made our wedding day better than it already was and gave us the timeless photos that we will remember forever. 5 STARS!

David was recommended to me by a friend who had seen his work at another wedding; I've since recommended David to others. Without a doubt, David was the best vendor choice I made for my wedding. As the mother of the bride, I wanted my first daughter (of three) to have a picture-perfect wedding, and even though we had an unexpected wedding guest, "Hurricane Ernesto" (labor day weekend 2006) the day was truly PICTURE PERFECT because of our amazing photographer, David Mielcarek! Someone who can remain calm in the middle of a hurricance, and adapt to rain and gusting winds, is truly A PRO!!! Not only did he adapt our 'garden photos' to an amazing indoor locale, he actually used the rain to his artistic advantage-GORGEOUS shots of the bride and groom beneath a golf umbrella, walking amid raindrops together toward the awaiting limosuine, and even some shots looking out of windows with rain coming down, that were nothing less than MASTERPIECES! So much so, as a matter of fact, that some friends who have seen our albums while planning their own weddings, have said, "I almost hope it rains on my wedding!" I can't believe we actually wanted to go with the idea of just asking friends to take pictures at our wedding and then making our own scrapbook. We weren't really sure about the 'digital revolution' going on soon before we started planning our wedding. When we met David however it all changed. Not only did we see that digital was good (it doesn't really make a difference if the photographer knows what they are doing - now we know that!) but we started appreciating the professional approach and guidance we got from David. Little did we know how blown away we would be after the wedding when the pictures came in. I guess David's prices are a bit higher now than what they used to be at the time we were hiring him. Guess what - they should be ten times what they are!!! It's a steal to get him for what he charges so please do not hesitate - book him while he's available. It's not only about the photos that are absolutely amazing in color, clarity, composition... but also about the completely professional attitude and service. In all areas David outdid himself! We couldn't be happier!

The pictures are AMAZING!! They are ridiculous and I am in love with them, thank you so much. Tim told me they were posted while I was at work and I raced home as fast as I could to see them. The saturation is amazing, I really don't know which series I like the best. Even my mom likes them and she doesn't know anything about art. But that's what they are...really, really, really good art. It really gets me psyched even more for the wedding!

There hasn't been ONE person who just casually said, "oh that's nice" every person has said how breathtaking and fantastic they are!! YEA! Ok so I am nowhere near ready to go in the morning for the honeymoon, but I just could not resist writing to just quickly Thank you so much for yesterday! I absolutely can not express how much I enjoyed the time with you and Monika! It is so cool that I got the chance to meet her! I am so appreciative that you traveled to photograph my wedding, and even though I know it was not as elaborate as many weddings can be, I am positive that the one thing I will always remember of this day, other than marrying Jeff of course, was how amazing it felt to work with both of you! You are so awesome together, and I am so thrilled to have had the opportunity to meet both of you! You both truly made me feel so special, and it is a feeling I will never forget!

And of course I absolutely loved the slideshow! I don't even know how long it lasted, but I didn't want it to end! The images were completely breathtaking and the music was so cool! It was just perfect!! Everyone has been telling me how much they loved it!
