The first decision Mark and I made after getting engaged (before choosing a date, reception site, bridal party or band) was that we had to have David as our photographer. He had photographed my sister's wedding two months before and his work was amazing. When we found out Monika Broz would be working with him the day of our wedding we were thrilled. Both David and Monika were so exceptional to work with. I'm not sure I could every put into words how incredible the photographs are or how David and Monika made Mark, myself, our families, bridal party and friends feel the day of the wedding. They managed to capture every moment of the day as if they were a friend looking on. The pictures still bring tears to my eyes when I look at them. I think the biggest compliment I can give is that almost all of our guests have said they want to redo their weddings and have David and Monika takes the pictures. Thank you again for capturing the most wonderful day in our lives!

From the moment we met to the day of our wedding David has proven to be an exceptional photographer. He is organized, timely and has an excellent personality which makes you feel so comfortable. He has excellent ability and truly has such a great artistic eye.

We had so much fun with him on our wedding that it almost makes me want to get married again to have another session with him!

We came across David while going through all of the information we received for our wedding. We were so impress by his work that we booked a meeting with him. We knew from the beginning we did not want a traditional wedding photographer and David was anything but traditional. It was instant connection and new right away that David was the perfect person to shoot our wedding pictures and didn't have to look any further for a photographer. He was so easy to work with, organized and timely. From our Engagement Shoot to the Day of our wedding David was exceptional. He capture so many amazing moments and when we looked through our proofs it was so hard to find just one shot that we loved. Everything was incredible and he truly captured everything we wanted him to with out us even telling him. We have recommend David to anyone we know who was looking for a photographer. He truly is absolutely incredible!

From the start I was thrilled with David. He was personable, responsive, offered competitive rates and what I thought was a fun, unique cinematic style. When he arrived with his crew on our wedding day, it seemed as if he was just as excited as we were. He immediately found the more unique aspects of our wedding, like my red wedding shoes, NYC-themed table settings, outrageous flowers, hot dog vendor, eclectic disco band and STUNNING all-family wedding party and blew out those themes like mad. He is refreshed and inspired by original thought -- when you´re planning, put yourself in the position of a photographer and look through his lens. Be bold, embrace color and do something different. It makes it so much more memorable. As a vendor, he was enthusiastic, invisible at times, but never missed a shot. He sees beauty in most everything and is a joy to work with. If only all vendors were this easy! We lucked out with all of ours, but you must ask questions and put yourselves in the hands of experts. Whatever you do, don´t try to control them! I was referred to David by a friend, and after looking at his website I knew he would understand the feeling I wanted to evoke at my Autumn wedding. He has a unique, creative eye and makes an ordinary picture come to life. From what I saw in the photos that David takes, he believes that a moment should come naturally, not be forced. In my wedding photos, I fell in love with the way he caught the quiet moments that people shared with us and each other, without being the slightest bit intrusive. David, WOW! At that point, we don’t even know how to express our appreciation for what you have done for us at our wedding day. David goes above and beyond the call of duty. He works "with" his clients, not just for. Every image that he has produced for us so far (wedding date: 5/31/08 so we haven't seen them all just yet) has been just AMAZING. David makes everyone around him feel comfortable and that allows him to capture the "real people" that are in front of him. He rolls with the punches and just delivers!

David was exceptional to work with. We had seen his work through friends of ours and had to have him. My husband and I both love photography and this was one area that was most important to us with our wedding. We wanted something original, different and unique. That is what we got. He does the traditional photos as well as interesting and diverse. His use of color makes everything light up, and his black and white very classic and always showing emotions. He captures special moments without you knowing he is there so the true emotions can be seen. He manages to also capture every facial expression of every person invoved to ensure that when you see the albums, you can see all the personalities that made your special day perfect. He is a true artist that is rare to find.

I have to express how pleased both my wife and I were with choosing David Mielcarek as our Wedding Photographer! He captured every special moment of our day perfectly! I usually don't like having my picture taken, but with David, I didn't even notice he was there! I was able to enjoy our wedding day and still have lots of amazing shots! As the mother of the bride, I wanted my first daughter (of three) to have a picture-perfect wedding, and even though we had an unexpected wedding guest, "Hurricane Ernesto" (labor day weekend 2006) the day was truly PICTURE PERFECT because of our amazing photographer, David Mielcarek! Someone who can remain calm in the middle of a hurricance, and adapt to rain and gusting winds, is truly A PRO!!! Not only did he adapt our 'garden photos' to an amazing indoor locale, he actually used the rain to his artistic advantage-GORGEOUS shots of the bride and groom beneath a golf umbrella, walking amid raindrops together toward the awaiting limosuine, and even some shots looking out of windows with rain coming down, that were nothing less than MASTERPIECES! So much so, as a matter of fact, that some friends who have seen our albums while planning their own weddings, have said, "I almost hope it rains on my wedding!" Out of all of the MILLIONS of decisions that I made for my wedding day, besides choosing the Groom of course, choosing David Mielcarek as my Wedding Photographer was the BEST decision I made hands down!!! I can't believe we actually wanted to go with the idea of just asking friends to take pictures at our wedding and then making our own scrapbook. We weren't really sure about the 'digital revolution' going on soon before we started planning our wedding. When we met David however it all changed. Not only did we see that digital was good (it doesn't really make a difference if the photographer knows what they are doing - now we know that!) but we started appreciating the professional approach and guidance we got from David. Little did we know how blown away we would be after the wedding when the pictures came in. I guess David's prices are a bit higher now than what they used to be at the time we were hiring him. Guess what - they should be ten times what they are!!! It's a steal to get him for what he charges so please do not hesitate - book him while he's available. It's not only about the photos that are absolutely amazing in color, clarity, composition... but also about the completely professional attitude and service. In all areas David outdid himself! We couldn't be happier!

The pictures are AMAZING!! They are ridiculous and I am in love with them, thank you so much. Tim told me they were posted while I was at work and I raced home as fast as I could to see them. The saturation is amazing, I really don't know which series I like the best. Even my mom likes them and she doesn't know anything about art. But that's what they are...really, really, really good art. It really gets me psyched even more for the wedding!

As I'm sure you hear ALL the time.. everyone who I have shown your blog post to has just been in AWE of your pictures. There hasn't been ONE person who just casually said, "oh that's nice" every person has said how breathtaking and fantastic they are!! YEA! Ok so I am nowhere near ready to go in the morning for the honeymoon, but I just could not resist writing to just quickly Thank you so much for yesterday! I absolutely can not express how much I enjoyed the time with you and Monika! It is so cool that I got the chance to meet her! I am so appreciative that you traveled to photograph my wedding, and even though I know it was not as elaborate as many weddings can be, I am positive that the one thing I will always remember of this day, other than marrying Jeff of course, was how amazing it felt to work with both of you! You are so awesome together, and I am so thrilled to have had the opportunity to meet both of you! You both truly made me feel so special, and it is a feeling I will never forget!

And of course I absolutely loved the slideshow! I don't even know how long it lasted, but I didn't want it to end! The images were completely breathtaking and the music was so cool! It was just perfect!! Everyone has been telling me how much they loved it!
