After DOCs, the next vendor we spent the most time on was the band. We met with several that were either way out of our budget or just not what we were looking for. Finally, we found David Rothstein. David is extremely personable and made us feel very confident in the band’s talent and services from the beginning. We signed a contract with them without ever hearing them live – something I never expected to do. The small bumps in the road we hit during the planning process were resolved quickly and agreeably for us.

Obviously, the biggest test of any band is how they sound. We had a 3-piece ensemble (piano, violin, cello) for the ceremony, piano during cocktail hour, and a 10-piece orchestra for dinner and the rest of the reception (we had dancing between courses). The ceremony musicians were great – even learning a song (Bless the Broken Road) so my sister-in-law could sing during the ceremony. The piano during cocktail hour provided the perfect background while not over-powering the conversation. The best moment, however, came when DH and I were introduced. We walked in to our first dance song and went straight into our first dance. The song (You Are the Best Thing by Ray LaMontange) has a horn intro…the second I heard it I knew we were in for a fabulous night. They sounded wonderful…at times I forgot I was listening to the band and not the real artists. The band was great at interacting with the audience and read the crowd perfectly. Our dance floor was packed all night, people were even dancing on the carpet. We loved Jeff, our emcee, who incidentally was also responsible for that amazing arrangement of our first dance song. We actually got thank you notes from guests after the wedding telling us how much fun they had and how much they loved the band. Can’t ask for more than that!

One of the things that was most important to me while planning the wedding was for all of our guests to have a great time, and I knew that needed a great band. David Rothstein didn't disappoint! We danced all night, and regularly received compliments after the wedding. I frequently heard "we loved the horns!" or "we loved the singers!" and "we just loved the band, who were they?!" We had David and his band at our wedding in October at the Sofitel. We had the classical trio for the ceremony, the jazz trio for the cocktail hour and the 11 piece orchestra for dancing. The ceremony music was perfect - and the ceremony music director, Alex, was very helpful before the wedding.

Our hora was amazing, and we had the dance floor packed the whole night even though it was a Sunday. Relatives I'd never seen dancing at previous family weddings were even up grooving. It was a great selection of music for all age groups - everyone from my grandpa to our friends really enjoyed it.

We didn't get a wedding video - but said if we could go back and do it again we definitely want a video of that hora!

My wife and I were married May 9, 2009, and had a wonderful experience hiring David to take care of our music for both the ceremony and reception. We were able to pick from an extensive song list, encompassing any variety of music we could want to choose from, to create our perfect song list. One of the best parts was being able to pick songs we wanted that the band had not played before. The band did a phenomenal job accommodating our requests, and our guests had a great time dancing and enjoying an excellent performance! I would highly recommend David to anyone who wants to have music a cut above the rest for any type of special occasion!

The David Rothstein Band played at our wedding at the Intercontinental Chicago a few weeks ago, and they were absolutely magnificent! David was a brilliant emcee and leader. We, including our friends and family, had a fantastic time all throughout our wedding. The transitions from our ceremony to the cocktail hour to dinner were flawless. The classical trio captured the solemnity of our wedding ceremony. The jazz trio during cocktail hour provided a great start to an awesome dinner party with their 10-piece orchestra. No matter what age bracket we belonged to, no matter what religion we believed in, no matter what our sexual orientations were, we were all together on the dance floor dancing the night away. It was a wonderful world. We could not have asked for a more perfect evening. The music and the energy that David and his band had, provided us with a lot of love, fun, and beautiful memories: a truly unforgettable evening. We specifically enjoyed it when one of the singers came on to the dance floor and held the microphone out for certain individuals to sing, which eventually ended up to the whole dance floor singing the song. We also enjoyed the dance game that David led where everybody participated. We saw everybody smiling and doing their moves. It was super fun and very touching to see all our loved ones enjoying themselves with the music. A lot of our guests called, texted, and emailed us and our parents to let us know that ours was the best wedding they’ve attended. Having David Rothstein Band play at our wedding was definitely one of the best choices we’ve made. We hope anyone reviewing this will make the same decision we made and choose the David Rothstein Band. We highly recommend them.

My husband and I got married in September at the Intercontinental Hotel and The David Rothstein Band played at our cocktail hour and reception. My dad and I researched other bands, and THIS WAS THE BAND TO HAVE. We are still hearing from all the guests at our wedding that they had never seen so many people at a wedding on the dance floor, and we have this band to thank. David kept everything in order, and on time. He added many special touches that kept my husband and our guest surprised all night. The interaction between the band, David and every guest there was incredible. Even my 86 year old grandmother was dancing the night away. This band is worth every penny, and we have them to thank for an incredible reception. Every instrument, singer, and musician is incredibly talented and on top of it they all seem to be having a blast. One of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

Wow. The biggest compliment we've gotten from our wedding was "Oh my gosh, that BAND! So good!" That pretty much sums up the night. From the second we walked in, to our good friend singing our first dance, to my husband and I performing together on the stage...it was the ultimate celebration. The night wouldn't have been the same without your band and we definitely would'nt have had that many people on the dance floor with a plain old DJ! I am soooo happy that I had David Rothstein and his band as my wedding band. They promised they would get everyone on the dance floor, and they definitely delivered. They were able to personalize our wedding for us, by playing everything that we asked, ranging from Klezmer music, to oldies, to modern music. They even had a few amazing surprises for us-including a gift of two aprons that they asked our guests to sign for us. I wasn't the only one impressed by the band-- all of our guests were raving about the band, and saying what an amazing job they did. I highly recommend this band for any celebration!!

David and his band played our wedding on 8/13/11 in Schiller Park and brought the house down!! EVERYONE had an amazing time. EVERYONE was on the dance floor. EVERYONE was raving about the band. Several people went so far as to tell us it was the BEST wedding they had ever been to. Not only did they play the kind of music we wanted to hear, they learned a few traditional Irish songs that we wanted our families to dance to. David even added a few personal touches for us that made the night even more memorable. We made the right decision when we went with DRM, and you should too. Your search is over...HIRE THIS BAND!!

OK...... So I know hiring a band for a wedding or event is expensive and some of you are wondering if it is worth it. Well I can tell you if you hire this band IT IS!!!!!! David and his band played at our wedding July 30th and they were suberb! My Dad and I decided we were going to sing a duet together instead of doing a father daughter dance and David was so accomodating. They learned the somg and played it perfectly when my Dad and I sang. It was the hit of the party! David was always super quick to answer any questions or concerns I had and was very kind. The dance floor was packed all night and we loved the fact that the entire band got involved with all the guests. My uncle is in a band himself and he went on & on about how great my band was and that he was very impressed. So many of my guests keep telling me that my wedding was truly the best they have attended and believe me David has everything to do with this :)

David and his band were absolutely wonderful! From the first time we met with him, David made everything so easy and enjoyable. He takes care of everything and takes the stress off of you! Our wedding reception was at Germania Place in Chicago (also a wonderful venue!). We had friends and family from all over the U.S. with many of them from Chicago, New York, and New Orleans and ALL of them love to dance and have fun. David and his band made that possible! The music was fantastic, constant, and so very entertaining throughout the entire night! I am SO happy that we chose them for our band. My father-in-law found David Rothstein on-line and flew them out to our wedding in Beaver Creek, CO sight unseen. They could not have done a better job! David took time to get to know my wife and I via email and phone conversations so that they knew what kind of music we liked and wanted the band to play. They did a great job of emceeing the night and even added a special Colorado mountain touch by bringing a ski helmet to the reception for all of our guest to sign (my wife and I are big skiers). The band also had no problem learning the relatively obscure songs we picked for our first dance, the father-daughter dance, and the mother son dance.We have had multiple guests tell us after the wedding that it was the best wedding band they had ever heard. We had two dance floors and roughly 150 guests. I would say that both dance floors were completely full 90% of the time and the majority of our friends danced the entire time the band played.My wife and I could not recommend David Rothstein Music highly enough!

My fiance and I knew that one of our biggest priorities for our wedding was getting the best possible band - a great band makes for a fantastic and fund wedding. We did research into Chicago area bands and David was by far the most helpful and responsive from the start. Our timing was great because soon after we spoke with him we were able to see the band play live at a wedding event - they were awesome and David was so great! After we hired them, David continued to be super helpful and supportive throughout the planning process (unlike some vendors who disappear after they get your deposit!) David's process for getting to know you, whats important to you for your wedding and what kind of music you want is impeccable. So after a great experience leading up to the wedding, our expectations were HIGH - very high! And DRM exceeded them tenfold (which I did not think was possible). First, David does an excellent job emceeing the night - especially in the beginning a lot is going on - announcements, first dance, toasts, etc. But the best part was that our dance floor was packed the entire night - young and old! A lot of people's favorite moment was when the trumpet section came on to the dance floor with everyone! Everyone had a blast and a million people told me that they've never had so much fun at a wedding or that it was the best wedding they've ever been to. And I know these people and they were not just being nice. I attribute 95% of this to David and his band. They are not cheap, but worth every penny - you get what you pay for!!! If I had to do it again all over on a budget, I would hire David, and skimp on everything else. Nothing else is as important as the atmosphere, energy and the fun at your wedding. Thanks David!!!!

Amazing! That’s really the only way to describe David Rothstein Music. My husband and I had the privilege of hiring David and his merry band for our wedding, in May. The band was amazing. Music was one of the areas where my husband and I spent a lot of time ‘discussing’ our options; circling around the topic of DJ vs. Band vs. combo vs. BUDGET. Here are a few of the reasons that we initial decided on Dave Rothstein Music:• His rave reviews – which seemed to good to be true… but I can say, I now understand where everyone was coming from! • His professionalism – During our first meeting, which he graciously accommodated early on a Sunday morning, to fit our schedules, he was prepared with examples, paperwork, and videos to guide us through the available options and help us create a viable and fitting musical program to match our wedding style. (To my husband’s delight, Dave quickly ushered us from one Mac product to another displaying videos on a large mac desktop and then demonstrating his unique set-list approach on the iPad – this alone was enough to win over my husband!) We did have a few concerns prior to/while booking:• The costs – I have to admit, I did experience a moment of sticker shock. It really was a commitment to spend what we did on music, and we didn’t make the decision lightly. After receiving David’s quote, we had to sit down and figure out what was really important to us on our wedding day. Through our mental review of weddings past (both great and, unfortunately, some really bad) we realized that music was the determining factor in most cases; thus, convincing us to commit.• Will a band really appeal to all our guests? Will people dance? – My biggest fear was that no one would dance; we would spend all of this money on a fancy band and people would be wishing they could plug in their iPods and put on dance hits. David quelled this fear a little by showing us videos of prior weddings and the packed dance floors. I was still hesitant (and preloaded my ipod – just incase... needless to say, it was not needed!)Overall review – I couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out! I will recommend Dave Rothstein Music to all of my friends and family!

David Rothstein Band made our wedding! They brought so much energy and class to our reception. David is a TRUE PROFESSIONAL. From the moment he took my call and gave me personal attention to the end of the event, it was seamless. David is truly passionate about his business and it shows. Excellent band -- made the wedding reception so fun! Even after three hours, the dance floor was packed -- mothers, dads, bride and groom -- all guests had a great time. David is professional and fair and organized, and his musicians are mature and talented and professional as well. We chose David for our reception music only and it was a very wise investment, indeed! From the very beginning, David was very professional while giving off a "we're good friends from way back" vibe. He was very easy to talk to and do business with. Being a music junkie myself, I personally believed the band was the most important part of my wedding, so I was VERY picky about picking a band. The song selection was endless and their energy while performing was lively and addictive. David worked with me to be sure everything was exactly how I wanted it and even learned some songs that were special to my husband and I. We got married in January and my guests are still talking about their performance and saying how it will be a wedding they will "remember for a lifetime". They helped me every step of the way and made the whole planning process a lot let stressful. David was sure to include important family and cultural traditions as well as family members during their performance. I can not say enough good things about them! You won't regret your decision if you choose DRM, I promise!

What you read in the DRB reviews is true! David Rothstein really delivered on his promise: we had the best wedding ever! Our dance floor was packed the entire time the band was playing, and our guests had a wonderfully memorable evening. The best part of the night was when the lead singer and the horns came down from the stage and danced with our friends and family. It was a special and unique touch. From the very first phone call with David, you feel as if he guarantees all will have a good time, and he does not disappoint. I’ll always be grateful to him for including my 82 year grandmother in such a special way. During our first meeting and through our “get to know you” questionnaire, David picked up on the importance of the relationship my husband I share with my grandma, and he made sure to not only recognize our relationship during the wedding, but he also gave her a gift that she will always treasure.

Words cannot describe my new love for DRB!!! They did such an awesome job at our wedding on 12/4/10, I was floored by the amount of energy they brought, what a great feeling and vibe they brought to the room....they really brought the PARTY, we just showed up with people!! David Rothstein's Band is amazing!! We just got married on November 27 at The Drake Hotel and walking into the reception with the band playing is something I will remember forever! Their energy and enthusiasm just kept going all night long. We had people on the dance floor until almost 2:00AM! David also personalized our event so well by having the band play my husband and my college fight song! We added the Sinatra Vocalist for a portion of the evening, and he was so talented! They were available any time I had a question or wanted to meet with them. They were interested in getting to know us as a couple and what we wanted our day to feel like, so they could customize our wedding and make it unique to us. David even took to handling a set-up dispute with our venue, just so I didn't have to add another thing to my "to do" list. They did NOT disappoint the day of our event. My husband and I were thrilled with our experience with David. From the very beginning he was so easy to talk to and I told him several times during the whole process that he was the easiest part and person to work with while planning our wedding! I meant it - weddings can get pretty crazy even if you try for them not to be and David was consistently a person we could count on to be organized and two steps ahead at all times. Fast forward to the wedding - the floor was packed all night!!!I was a little concerned because it was at Galleria Marchetti, which is my favorite venue in Chicago, but it has an outside area and with the beautiful night we had I was worried that people would mingle outside instead of on the dance floor. This was not the case - the dance floor was packed all night long!!! Our biggest request to David was to make sure that all generations would be on the dance floor so we wanted music that would be fun for everyone and he delivered! The whole band did a fabulous job, they were having fun and it showed! The whole experience was perfect and if you get the chance to work with him, you won't be disappointed!! People still are calling us complimenting us on our wedding and the band.David was the utmost professional, and did everything we asked. He worked very well with our hall, and met all our requests.We would recommend this band highly, and don't be afraid to request any certain songs you want played. David and his band learned three new songs, just to play at our wedding, and played them perfectly!!You will not be disappointed!!

Everyone at our wedding loved the David Rothstein Band! A lot of our guests told us that we had the best wedding they had ever been to, which was such a compliment. From day one, David made everything so easy for us as we planned our wedding. We used his online wedding guide to plan our ceremony music and wedding reception songs. We even had a special request for David, and he played Chelsea Dagger as we were introduced wearing Blackhawks jerseys and carrying a Stanley Cup! Even now, a month after the wedding, friends and family are still talking about this amazing band and how so many people stayed to dance until the end of our wedding. The David Rothstein Band was fantastic at our wedding. David had two weddings that night, so Jeff Sanders was our band director. He was an amazing MC and musician and the band was outstanding. We had a great time and our guests can't stop talking about the band. We started with a 7 piece during dinner and expanded to the 10 piece for dancing. We couldn't be happier with the performance of David's band at our July 2010 wedding!We chose the 11 piece orchestra for dinner and had a solo keyboardist for cocktails. David is very professional and his attention to all the important details made for a smooth evening. He has done countless weddings and knows what works best. Picking a wedding band is a daunting task:So much execution risk...How do I know I am making the right choice?...Will they be any good? Do they understand my vision of the experience I am trying to create?From the start, David Rothstein put all of our concerns to rest. The process he went through in working with us before our wedding was highly professional, illustrative of what he and team have to offer, and was tailored to what we were looking for.And the reception it self was a huge success! David played the role of a charming emcee and kept the party rocking. We opted for a NY / E Coast style dancing in between courses, and the band could not have pulled off the logistics better!David went above and beyond what might be expected of a band, learning our first dance, "To Make You Feel My Love"; "The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi" so that I could sing with my fraternity brothers to my bride; "Hail to the Chief," upon introducing the Father of the Bride; and yes, even a polka medly for the extended Germanic family members! The energy level remained high the entire night and the dancefloor was packed from the first introduction. My groomsman said that the extended version (with audience participation) of "Shout" was the best he's ever heard and Lou singing Sinatra will be something no one will forget.We got married in June this year and during Christmas parties and gatherings this December, family and friends were still talking about David Rothstein!

The band played for our wedding on 5/29/2010 at the Belvedere and our guests are still raving about David Rothstein & his orchestra! The dance floor was packed throughout the evening, even with the HAWKS game on! Very organized, professional and really listened and got to know us as a couple. The Band was AMAZING!!David Rothstein and his band are nothing but the best in Chicago! When it came to making a decision on my wedding music, it was hands down David Rothstein and his fabulous band. David will customize anything for you - if a song you want is not on their already extensive and enormous play lists, he will write an arrangement just for your wedding!At our recent April 2010 wedding, it was a smaller event however the dance floor was packed ALL NIGHT! Guests kept telling me the band was AMAZING - if they weren't able to see the band from the dancefloor, they would think it was a professional recording!To be honest the only time there was not a lot of dancing was when the band took their break and played a few songs off their iPod! As soon as they came back on to play live music after their break, the dancefloor was packed again!David is a wonderful MC - he takes into account all the special things you want for your wedding. Plus he keeps a timeline and basically makes sure everything happens when it is supposed to. David and his band were part of our October wedding at the Sofitel downtown. We had the classical quartet, the jazz trio and the 11 piece orchestra for dancing. The ceremony music was great - and the Ceremony Music Director, Alex, was very helpful to my wife before the wedding.Our hora was amazing, and we had the dance floor packed the whole night even though it was a Sunday. It was a great selection of music for all age groups. We received lots of compliments from our guests, and we had a great time too!David had great communication and follow up from the very beginning. My husband and I got married on October 16, 2009, in Geneva, Illinois, and we are sooo glad we hired David to help us on our special day. Great Guy Amazing Band!!David and his amazing team played our wedding in Feb. 09. Our guests had the greatest time and my wife and I could not have been happier. The dance floor was packed all night and everyone had sore feet the next day. They are fun and engaging and David is the consummate professional as well as just a great guy. After hiring his band we learned he lived two doors down from my sister and her family and she knew him because he had helped her carry groceries from the car a couple times! His band is incredible and he was by far the best vendor we worked without throughout the wedding process. We can not reccommend David and his team enough. Your search should stop at the top! My fiance and I really wanted a live band for our wedding, and David Rothstein was the best possible choice. David did everything he could to read the guests and do things to make sure that everyone was having a great time. From suggesting "Dancing Between Courses" to having the singer and musicians come into the crowd to having the guests do silly, crazy dances that everyone from our older guests to kids had fun with, the crowd was engaged the entire night. David was super easy to work with during the time period leading up to the wedding. He got back to us quickly and tried to get to know us so that our wedding would have a personal feel. He arranged small surprises throughout the night that made the wedding feel extremely special. Tons of guests commented on how great the music and entertainment was. David did not disappoint on any of his promises to make this the best wedding ever.

After DOCs, the next vendor we spent the most time on was the band. We met with several that were either way out of our budget or just not what we were looking for. Finally, we found David Rothstein. David is extremely personable and made us feel very confident in the band's talent and services from the beginning. We signed a contract with them without ever hearing them live...something I never expected to do. The small bumps in the road we hit during the planning process were resolved quickly and agreeably for us.Obviously, the biggest test of any band is how they sound. We had a 3-piece ensemble (piano, violin, cello) for the ceremony, piano during cocktail hour, and a 10-piece orchestra for dinner and the rest of the reception (we had dancing between courses). The ceremony musicians were great...even learning a song (Bless the Broken Road) so my sister-in-law could sing during the ceremony. The piano during cocktail hour provided the perfect background while not over-powering the conversation. The best moment, however, came when my husband and I were introduced. We walked in to our first dance song and went straight into our first dance. The song (You Are the Best Thing by Ray LaMontange) has a horn intro...the second I heard it I knew we were in for a fabulous night. They sounded wonderful - at times I forgot I was listening to the band and not the real artists. The band was great at interacting with the audience and read the crowd perfectly. Our dance floor was packed all night, people were even dancing on the carpet. We loved Jeff, our emcee, who incidentally was also responsible for that amazing arrangement of our first dance song. We actually got thank you notes from guests after the wedding telling us how much fun they had and how much they loved the band. Can't ask for more than that!

David Rothstein Music performed at our wedding on April 18, 2009. Everybody had very positive things to say about DRM. David was professional throughout the entire process; indeed, we chose his band over two others because we thought he was less pushy and more pleasant to deal with. David has a good sense of humor and is very organized. He helped us understand how the process worked and then of course the big evening he and his band were fantastic. While initially we didn't know what to make of the line dance, many of our friends have remarked how much they loved it and we have awesome photos from it! I heartily recommend DRM for your wedding and look forward to referring him to many, many friends in the future.

Finding a great band was one of our first priorities. We interviewed 2 different bands in person, and talked to several on the phone and decided to go with Rothstein. He is very personable and listened to what we wanted at the reception. We had a bilingual Spanish/English crowd and music in both languages was vital. Rothstein and his music director were able to compose two songs for our first dance and meld them together, starting with Spanish and transitioning into English. The lyrics in Spanish were not quite right for the song I picked, but they are not a Spanish speaking band, so the did a great job putting it together. We gave them Spanish songs to play during their break and they took care of making sure the music was always flowing, both live and during the break. The dancing didn't stop and everyone had fun. Rothstein was available to talk and take feeback during the planning if we had questions or concerns. Bands do not come cheap, but we knew this was the price to pay to make it come together.

What you read in the DRB reviews is true! David Rothstein really delivered on his promise: we had the best wedding ever! Our dance floor was packed the entire time the band was playing, and our guests had a wonderfully memorable evening. The best part of the night was when the lead singer and the horns came down from the stage and danced with our friends and family. It was a special and unique touch. From the very first phone call with David, you feel as if he guarantees all will have a good time, and he does not disappoint. I’ll always be grateful to him for including my 82 year grandmother in such a special way. During our first meeting and through our “get to know you” questionnaire, David picked up on the importance of the relationship my husband I share with my grandma, and he made sure to not only recognize our relationship during the wedding, but he also gave her a gift that she will always treasure.

DRM was one of the best choices we made during our wedding planning. David was incredibly enthusiastic and excited about our wedding music from start to finish, and took time to really get to know us and what we wanted from the band. Our actual wedding reception was amazing - the dance floor was packed all night and even people who wouldn't usually dance were on the dance floor. If you are going to splurge on one thing for your reception, make it the live band and go with David Rothstein - you will NOT find a better band in Chicago!

I was actually very surprised with our experience after the number of excellent reviews for this band. First, I'll start with the good. The reception band and cocktail hour trio were excellent. All my guests had a wonderful time dancing and singing. The musicians were really good. I had one guest tell me several times it is the best wedding band he had ever heard. And, I agree - the reception band was great! So, that part was wonderful, and I definitely think this band is a GREAT reception band.My experience was not the same for the ceremony, which to me was the most important part of the day. Obviously, without the ceremony there is no reception, so the ceremony should get as much -- if not MORE attention than the reception. I can honestly say I was very disappointed with the uneccesary events surrounding the selection of the ceremony music. While I had originally set forth the events here, I deleted them because it was too long. I think a good way to explain it is that the process was very unorganized, there was a lack of communication, there were some assurances which probably shouldn't have been made, and in the end I did not get all the ceremony music I wanted. I started emailing David with some questions about what music the harpist could play about 1.5 months before the wedding. So, it wasn't for a lack of trying on my part. Also, I met every deadline for the band. Most stressful, the day before the wedding I spoke to the harpist (who was not the harpist I was told I would have) who did not have the ceremony outline with the songs she was to play. She didn't have it; she never received it. She was as dumbfounded as I was at this entire situation. I think she felt a little embarassed. So, basically at 11:10 a.m the day before my wedding, I emailed the harpist the ceremony schedule that included the songs, which was not only sent by me to Alex (the ceremony music coordinator) at least twice, but also sent by my officiant to David! That was ridiculous! The whole process seemed very complicated for no apparent reason. Also, because the harpist had to change some of the music selections, it was unfortunate that I spent money on wedding programs which were wrong! I was also a little offended that David told me about "tipping" ettiquette, when on the same call he was telling me something they couldn't do when the originally told me that could do it. David reassured me several times that the ceremony would be excellent and everything was taken care of when in fact it everything was not in order. That is probably the most annoying part about the experience. The harpist was excellent at the ceremony itself, I was very pleased with the songs she ended up selecting in place of the ones she couldn't play. Because the reception band was very good, I am going to recommend this band to other brides, but I do not recommend using them for your ceremony.

Best Band Ever!

We were married on October 17, 2009 and they were amazing! The dance floor was packed from the first song until the very end of the night. They learned a couple songs at our request and filled the night with personalization. It was a couple days after the maid of honor's birthday, so David had a birthday card for her and the whole 10-piece band sang happy birthday to her. The lead singer was awesome. Really, they keep their promise that they will keep the floor packed with tons of fun.

On our wedding night, DRM played the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and I can't express enough how much they exceeded my every expectation.

David and his band were incredible! We got married on New Year's Eve in downtown Chicago, people were begging us to keep them playing longer and it was 2am. Everyone was dancing all night and had so much fun. David was very professional and such a delight to work with. We really felt like he took care of us that night. David really did deliver on everything he promised us. We are just hoping he is still working in 25 years so we can throw a big anniversary party and use them again!

We hired DRM at our wedding and they were fantastic. Not only was David extremely helpful throughout the entire process, but even on the day of. I was so happy I didn't hire a wedding coordinator, David worked very well with all the other vendors & ensured things ran smoothly.

The band sounded fantastic and they are a fun group as well. David will really gauge the audience to ensure people are out on the dance floor. They really were! Also, David arranged several songs for us and they sounded great.

Also, David knew that my husband and I are Iowa Hawkeye fans. He incorporated that into our wedding which was so thoughtful. Also, following the wedding, he sent us the Sports Illustrated magazine that featured our team on the cover. Incredible!

Everyone here has written some amazing things about this great band and MC. I will say this in addition to seconding everyone else: DRM absolutely made our wedding. They brought everything together for us, and really helped us feel like we were having exactly the wedding that we wanted. The music was to taste, the Sinatra singer was excellent, the music was great.

What DRM really brings is the great energy and atmosphere and MCing. Absolutely amazing, professional, and exciting. If you want your wedding to be fun, energetic, and professional, this is the way to go. So many weddings can be cheesy or corny because the MC is like that, or is not excited. David made our wedding exciting and fun and intimate and formal all at the same time. I saw people in my family dancing that I never thought would be off their chairs.
