Reviews for Davids Bridal

David's Bridal is probably the best store to buy wedding dresses if you're on a budget. The bride was able to buy her dress at 99 dollars. The bridesmaids (me included) weren't required to buy a dress here, but the dresses were absolutely gorgeous and affordable considering the occasion. I would highly recommend the dresses here.

The service we received while at Davids Bridal was amazing. I did make an appointment for the middle of the week to avoid having to share my consultant. It worked out perfectly. My consultant listened to all the details that I desired in my wedding dress and brought many options. She did a great job of keeping within our price point and not pressuring me to go outside of it. A great experience.

my cousin brough her wedding dress from their and their were really helpful and got her the perfect dress

The lady I had seemed annoyed when I was trying to decide between the last 2 dresses and was very sly in trying to get me to buy the veil and slip without really making sure I wanted that. There was a good sale though and the other ladies there were very helpful and nice.

i love the bridesmaid dresses they have and also the dress for my mom is like they where thinking in my family when they made them! that's my number one store!

I visited the David's Bridal in Paducah, KY with my best friend who was the bride and I was her MOH, tried on one bridesmaid dress the salesperson gave off a very rude vibe.

I initially went to the actual store in Madison to try on a gown on a whim with no appt. when I went there, the associate at the front was rude and said I could not look around. I decided to try their website and found the perfect dress for a great price. I had the dress within 4 business days. I took the dress in to the actual store to get alterations done and they were awesome. She was quick and my dress fit like a glove the day of my wedding. Although I was initially soured, I ended up very happy. Also, they have a great online chat with a live person.

I had a really good experience with David's Bridal. They were very professional and my consultant was friendly and not pushy, and she seemed to get a good idea of what I wanted. In fact, the dress I ended up choosing was one that she picked out, although I had saved it to my favorites on their website. It is all-over lace, which at any other retailer would have been an exorbitant price, but I got it for $100 off the original price, which was not very expensive to begin with (comparatively). I also bought my veil, jewelry, slip, and flowers for my hair at the same time.
When I went in for my appointment, they took my contact information, asked me about my wedding and the style of dress I envisioned, and had me look around and pull dresses that I liked. All the gowns were kept in clear garment bags so they were in very good shape. Also, my consultant provided me with a slip and corset to wear underneath while I was trying dresses on, which was really nice.
I had my alterations done at DB as well, and that went completely smoothly. The dress arrived sooner than anticipated, and I received an email to tell me it had come in. It fit nicely when it came in and only had to be taken in a little; they also did a beautiful bustle on the train. When I came in for my second fitting, everything was perfect, and when I took the dress home the seamstress packed it very nicely on a mannican bust so that it will retain its shape. Since I bought my dress so early, they are letting me bring it back just before my wedding for a complimentary steam, instead of steaming it before I took it home. The whole process, from choosing my dress to taking it home, took about 2 months I think.
I am not a fan of DB's return policy. You can exchange things for items of equal value, but you can't get any money back once you buy something. I have also heard that you cannot exchange a wedding dress, but I didn't try myself so I don't know what the policy on that is.
DB has their own line of credit which includes 12 months of no payments and no interest, so I can pay my dress off without having to pay any interest, which is great. Application did not take very long and the amount I was approved for allowed me to make my entire purchase with the credit card.
I love my dress and I had a really great time trying on all the gowns at DB. I would go there again in a heartbeat.

I was a little disapointed with the service. I explained exactly what I was looking for and the consultant had no dresses picked out that were even close. The manager came over and brought me one dress and it was perfect! It was a simple beach wedding dress with only two layers of material. It was on the sale rack for $99! I need the hem altered approx 1.5 inches and they wanted to charge $120 dollars! There was some beading that was coming away from the dress and they wouldn't fix that unless I had the dress altered there. I found a great seamstress in Middleton who totally took care of everything for half the price and even added a bussle!

I love the people here! I went to one the store in Colorado Springs, CO. My consultant was amazing! They were so nice!
I have not yet bought my dress because my mother wants me to look around but I have an appt. later this week to go back! I will be spending just over $1100 on my dress which was a little above my budget but it will be worth it because I love this dress! I wasn't sure when I saw it on the hanger but it looks amazing on me!
I also intend to go through David's Bridal for my bridesmaid dresses.
I also love the fact that you can get discounts on your grooms and groomsmen tux's if you go to Mens Warehouse!

I was so amaze of the service I recieved from David's Bridal. I would especially recommend my friends to David's Bridal.

This place is the best for men's attire and I love the fact that they work well with you up until your wedding day.

my only complaint is that they focused more on the bride when she had already been attended to at another appointment therefore the bridesmaids and maid of honor needed help picking out dresses and they kept asking the bride when the bride has us pick out our own. it is the brides day and everything but it was aggrevating that we wanted something a little more specific for our body type and they went straight to the bride to ask about what she thought about lengths or sleeves/accessories. The bride wanted us to pick out our own that would be unique to us but yet fit us perfectly as long as it was her colors. everything else was good because they fit us for everything and got everything done in time for the wedding. it just would have been nice to have some attention towards the bridemaids dress... not asking the bride when she had specifically said that we were to pick out our own unique style in the particular color she picked and relatively the same length.

I am very pleased with the selection that David's Bridal offers on the invitaions. They have my color and you can choose to DIY!

They were very helpful in picking out the dresses for my bridesmaids. I have my brother as a best person, and 6 bridesmaids that all have different body shapes. They gave us a lot of options, were patient with my girls, and helped me pick out the right hues of colors so everyone would look great in my wedding. They were a little pushy on the accesories, but all in all it was great.

Davids bridal is a great place to start looking for a great dress at a not so expensive price. My mother purchased all of her bridesmaids dreesses including her dress from this store and that's why I went there to start my wedding dress search. The sales women are very helpful and full of energy.

I've gotten several dresses from David's Bridal - they are always very helpful and pleasant. They do alterations also.

I bought my dress, headpiece, veil, and slip from here. They were the only bridal store in Columbus, Ohio who were nice to me and offered me one on one help. They helped me try on each and every dress and helped me stay within my budget. They were fabulous to work with

This regarding the Rockville, maryland store.
The store was filthy, big stains on the carpet and walls that were in bad need of paint.
We had an appointment and our consultant put us in a dressing room and then left us!

I really love their selection of dresses. I did not get my wedding gown from here because they didnt have the designer that i wanted, but i got my bridesmaids dresses from here and they are phenomenal!

Great Gowns under a G-This is a must have for every bride. Visit them online and other places for the best of the best for your new life!

The lady who helped me at Davids Bridal didnt know what she was talking about. I tried on a size 4, which was too big. I asked to see a size 2 and she wouldnt even let me try it on telling me she didnt think I could fit. Instead, I had to bring it to get altered and the alteration specialist said I should have gotten a size smaller. I had to pay a couple hundred more dollars to have it altered.

They were the pushiest and most arrogant bridal shop I've ever been to. They were like a used car lot more than a bridal shop. Not to mention they have limitation on what dresses you can get in what color and it is just not fair.

Great place to shop for any bridal needs. I got my dress there, it's amazing i love it. However David's Bridal staff was helpful and very reliable which is something every bride is looking for when they are looking for that perfect dress!

I went there to look for a dress and although I really liked the person helping me the day that I went they were under staffed so I didn't get the one on one attention that I wanted. My advise would be to schedule your trips to bridal stores inorder to get that one on one personal attention.

The saleswomen really made you rush through the dresses you wanted to try on, and then always tried to push more expensive dresses in your face. Not a good experience

I recently went for my consultation in the Danver's store. Not expecting to even purchase anything at this time. I ended up finding my perfect dress. Not to mention my consultant Alana was fabulous.

This is great for those on a budget who don't know exactly what they want. The staff can be a bit pushy, but at the end of the day they are trying to make you look beautiful.

I went with 3 of my bridesmaids to the Warwick store and everything went pretty smoothly. The staff was somewhat helpful, somewhat non-responsive. I went with the other 3 bridesmaids to the store in Yonkers, NY - everything went fine there too. I preferred it when they actually just let us look for dresses ourselves and weren't hovering over us. I ended up ordering the dresses from a store near me in Manchester, CT. Everything went fine but their arrivals were a little annoying. Every time one dress came in, they'd email me and say "You have to pick it up this week". Seeing it was ~25 minutes away, this was slightly annoying to go over and over again whenever one dress came in. The dresses all came in right sizes with no problems at all. We went there because of the selection in sizes and colors, the sweet prices were an added bonus! We did not do alterations there. Dresses took about 2-3 months to come in; I didn't think that was bad at all. I also got a TTD dress and a rehearsal dinner dress there with equally smooth experiences.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
They were so helpful and supportive.
I recommend them even if it is to just find you wedding style.
They are eager to help and make you feel good.

I love Davids Bridal! At first, I thought it was cheesy and cheap to go there. But they were super nice and although the dresses are inexpensive, they had a lot to choose from style-wise and size-wise. I love the dress I picked out..classy, A-Line, simple, and exactly what I wanted.

Davids had plenty of dresses to choice from. They were very busy the day I visited and had to wait a little longer than normal. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My dress was on sale and I was very happy.

There are so any dressed to choose from as well as colors and styles. They have a dress your wedding website so you can actually create your wedding party on there and manipulate dresses, jewelry, etc. It is a lot of fun and it gives you a visual! And, when you go to try on dresses-the customer servce is phenomonal! They treat you like a bride should be treated! Very helpful!

I got my bridal gown as well as all of the bridesmaids dresses from David's. It is the best choice if you and your girls live in different states. Since we couldn't all meet up, I picked a dress and each girl went to the closest store to get sized/order it. The dresses looked great and I loved my dress too! The consultants are pretty helpful but some times I felt like I could do better if I was just left on my own to browse around. The only issue we had was that when the girl's dresses arrived they didn't let us know even though they had been in stock for a month (some how i guess something got messed up). Highly recommended especially if you are on a budget!

We went with davids bridal because they had the color we wanted. When i went they were very friendly but also very quick to make a sale i wanted to look and get ideas and they made it seem like there was no other option but to buy the one i liked best because i wouldnt find another one elsewhere. so i got a dress. i tried it on a couple times at home and realized that it really wasnt the one and i hadnt really had a chance to go out and see what i really liked and just compared it to the ones she had tried on me in the shop. i went to a bridal shop that my friend went to that sold alfred angelo and it was amazing the structure of the dress held all of my "trouble areas" in and made me look a whole size or two smaller the quality of their dresses the detail and the beautiful structure i would not buy a wedding gown at davids bridal and would not recommend them, the dresses are advertized for less than other dresses but you have to pay for pesky under garments and alot on alterations. The original price of my alfred angelo dress is alot more than anything at davids bridal but i dont have to pay for special undergarments to hold in my love handles and i dont have to worry about hundreds of dollars in alterations. In the long run its much cheaper

David's Bridal is also a great place to get your outfits for the children in your wedding. They are comfortable and not too pricey.

David's has so many different sizes, types and styles of dresses. They were very helpful to me and were able to take into account what type of style and personality I had, along with my mother's comments, to find me the PERFECT dress. I am eternally grateful to Davids! I highly recommend them to anyone who needs to find "the dress!"

I am getting my wedding dress and my girl's dresses through David's Bridal. they have such a wonderful selection and at an affordable price!!

The only positive thing that I can say about David's is that the sales person that I had was a delight to work with.

I had an appointment at David's Bridal in Rockford, IL and I didn't feel like I got the personal attention I should have. I went with a couple of my bridesmaids,as well as my mother and mother-in-law to be. I was trying on dresses, and the attendant told us that I couldn't try anymore on because my time was up and told us to make another appontment. I wasn't very happy being kicked out of the dressing room. There was a girl nest to me that got there before I did, and was not asked to leave. She was there longer than I was.

They had everything I needed to make my little ones look great for the ceremony. They had a great selection of flower girl dresses that matched the other girls' dresses.

Not very much for the alternative wedding goen, but lots of choices for the bridal party. You choose the colour and the fabric, and your ladies get to choose a dress style that works for them.

They have alot of dresses for just about anyone. They have all different prices for dresses. Plus they have bridesmaid dresses there too.

They were extremely helpful with getting the right dress for me and my bridesmaids. The only complain I have about them is that they told me that a color was going to be discontinued and I found out later that it was not.

I went in to Davids Bridal with my maid of honor to try on dresses and get sized. There was one women working the floor however there were 8 girls in the store. When I asked the women at the desk up front she said "Im on the phone with a costumer!" The women on the floor was extremely rude to my maid of honor and didnt listen to what I wanted for my wedding. I am a younger female and I believe that they didnt feel like I had any money and was not there being serious, so they didnt really waste their time on me. I am not going to purchase anything through Davids Bridal. They dont deserve my money. I expected my dress day to be fun and for the people to be helpful and just as excited as I was. However all I got was a bunch of grumpy women who didnt act as if they cared about me or my buisness.

OK service, don't go if you are a small size, they had about 3 dresses my size. It felt very forced but the ladies were nice.

davids bridal has some very gorgeous dresses and assesories. very very helpful sales people. and for people on a tight budget they have the occasional 99 dollar sale with beautiful dresses. this is my third wedding and not only tradidional dresses but simple dresses are beautiful. you can find bridesmaid and flower girl dresses for under 100.00

My Maid of Honor and I went to David's in Strongsville to look at a particular dress we had seen online. When we arrived, we were not greeted at the door. In fact, no one even spoke to us the entire time we were there. We found the dress ourselves, and then went to find a fitting room, unattended. We were unable to find someone to let us in, so we found an open room. When we needed a different size, we had to find it ourselves. I believe we could have (and maybe should have) walked out the door with the dress without a single person noticing.

Great dresses and amazing shoe choices. Lots of styles and colors, has all accessories that are a must have.

I worked with the David's Bridal on Monroe St. in Toledo and could not have asked for more polite, helpful people to work with. I ended up getting my favorite dress, originally $999.00, on sale for $569.00 (they told me when it was going on sale so I could save the extra money). I got my veil for $107.00 and absolutely loved the way it went together! I would definitely suggest using this particular store for dresses!

They were very helpful and very professional while I was trying on dresses. However, it was the first stop I made, and the sales associate was really pushing me to buy a dress. I repeatedly told her my wedding was over a year a way and their store was the very first stop, but she was still kind of pushy. Otherwise, they were helpful, not only while I was there, but they have services to help you find places to get tuxes for the groomsmen with discounts, appointment making, etc.

David's Bridal was a great place to start my dress shopping, but I felt like many of their dresses weren't unique enough. The sales associate was very nice and helpful, but I did feel a little pressure from the associate which made me just a little uncomfortable, but not enough to not go back. I will definitely get my bridesmaid dresses there, but did not purchase my gown there. Good starting point.

Not enough attendants in the store. I looked myself the entire time I was there. There was a nice selection of flower girl dresses.

I just went to davids's bridal to get an idea of what I wanted and ended up trying on dresses with my mom, I went back w/ my sister and a few bridesmaids and fell in love w/ my dream dress that also happened to be designer and even better on clearance from $1000 down to $349.99, They have really great deals if you look around a little bit.

We bought my bridesmaid's dresses at the David's in Mobile, Al and had a pretty good experience. The had a good selection of dresses in my color (oasis). I let my bridesmaids choose their own dress as long as it came in the right color and they all have enjoyed their shopping experience.

This is a truly awful place, at least in my opinion and for my needs (which are quite simple). I can't say it's any better or worse than other dress shops, but I can say that the staff there doesn't get paid enough to care about your comfort or happiness. I didn't buy my dress there and instead decided to make my own. No dress is worth the hours of badgering you receive from these people to buy all sorts of things you don't want or need. They all need a lesson in manners.

David's Bridal is making my experience completly wonderful! with their online capabilities and in store help, I am able to decide what I want from either at home, or personally seeing a professional! It's amazing and they have everything you need from gowns, to accessories, to ceromony details. It's great

Customer service was just okay. They had some pretty dresses but none of them were outstanding. Cheap though if on a tight budget

This were i bought my wedding dress. They were very helpful. I loved how they put the veil on me so that i actually felt like a bride.

David's bridal is great for bridesmaid dresses, except that if you have an alteration done here it can be quite pricey. My dress fit fine, except that it was a little long on me. The seamstress only had to raise the hem line 1" and charged me $50. I feel like alterations should be charged based on the extent of the work to be done, rather than categorized as raising a hem line $50, adjusting the shoulder straps $25, etc.

The wedding dress was Beautiful. It was reasonably priced at about $200.00. The shipping on it was also very fast. I still need alterations to have it taken in.

David's Bridal has some great bridesmaid dresses, and they are very reasonable. The ones we got for our wedding were very classy. They definitely help you through the whole process and are very nice.

I LOVED my experience at David's Bridal. We went in one Sunday afternoon with no appointment just to look around. We went to the Westminster, CO location. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and asked if we had an appointment. She told us it was fine that we didn't have an appointment and advised us to go ahead and look around and they would find someone to assist us as soon as possible. We browsed around and picked out a few dresses. By that time, they had a consultant ready for us. I got super lucky with my consultant. She was very easy to talk to and realized more or less what I wanted just by what I had picked out. She wasn't pushy or too focused on making the sale which was really relaxing and comforting for me. I knew she wasn't trying to put me in something just so she had a sale. She was very patient with us and very knowledgeable even thought it was only her first day as a consultant. I will definetly be going back to David's Bridal and my consultant for bridesmaids dresses, flower girls dresses, and whatever else we may need.

very friendly and helpful! I would shop here again. My bridesmaids loved the dresses we picked out. My color is cornflower...and I couldnt find the color I loved anywhere else!

I love my dress, but hated the experience here. First trip was fantastic but every trip after that was very disappointing. Also my poor bridesmaids had to put up with a lot of BS.

They have a great selection of dresses, both wedding gowns and bride's maids dresses also. They are very friendly and very affordable for the everyday bride!

This is the first place I went to look for dresses, knowing that they had good deals and their famous $99 sale. Just walking through the door they made me feel like I was the only bride there and they were very helpful with everything I needed. I ended up buying the first dress I tried on, but they didn't let me just stop at that one. Along with the two friends I brought with me, they picked out about half the store to make sure I got just the exact right dress for me. The only one that I truely said "I have to have this dress" turned out being "the one" and it was just my luck that we found my size on the manequin heading to the front to order it. I tired it on one more time (this made four times now... and they were still patient with me) and it fit perfectly... no alterations needed!! I couldn't have had a better experience or found a more perfect dress for my special day. I plan on going back for my bridesmaids dresses, my veil, and my shoes.

I haven't spent any money at this establishment as of yet. I am choosing him when it is time, however, because I am a hard fit. I have different sizes in different areas and know this store can accommodate.

You're just another bride. All they're concerned about is their commission. Be prepared for it to be crowded, unorganized, and overpriced. The only reason I used them for my girls' dresses is because I loved the dress. It wasn't an actual bridesmaids dress. It was really unique.

I bought the bridesmaid dresses here online. And it was a great bargain. And the quality of the dresses came out nicely too. I was so afraid that I would not be able to easily return the dresses if they did not work out. However, I just got a refund today for the extra bridesmaid dress that I bought in the wrong size--no problem. Thank goodness! If you buy online, read the reviews carefully and call the store for the measurements of sizes or get your bridesmaid to try on a similarly styled dress at any of the david's bridal locations. But be careful if you buy from the outlet section online or clearance, that is not returnable. Anyway, I'm happy because DB was a cost effective way to go, without sacrificing quality and pretty-ness. :)

I had such a great experience when I went to get my wedding dress. My consultant was so helpful and knowledgable. I actually got my dress on sale for $300 dollars off which allowed me to put that money towards other things I need for my wedding. I had a great experience here and would recommend David's Bridal to anyone.

this place as amazing dresses i recommended it for anyone planning a wedding. my wedding is coming up and im most likelt going to purchase my gowns from Davids bridal shop.

First I did not find my dress at David's Bridal. They do have a large selection, but the selection is mostly strapless dresses. That is not what I was looking for and a little disappointed that they didn't have a large selection of others. I did enjoy the online programs they have on planning weddings and the wedding party's clothes.

i really enjoy this place.they are exremely helpful and offer a wide variety of items.they have beautiful dresses and gown, mixed peices, veils, tuxes and jewelry.

I found the staff at David's to be rude, unhelpful, and just plain mean spirited. I had heard of their negative reputation in the past, but I didn't imagine it could be THAT bad. It is! I would never recommend using them for anything! The only reason we still got the dresses there was because we had a store credit from a previous event.

David's Bridal has many choices for Bride's Maids, but they do not carry many sizes in their dresses. When my friends were trying on dresses, one of them had to try on one that was 4 sizes too big!

I was satisfied with the dresses from David's, but the customer service was very poor. If I am going to spend a lot of money on a dress, I should be helped in the store. Because of that I did not get my bridal gown there. I did get bridesmaid dresses there because I had a few bridesmaids out of state and I needed a place that they could go to be fitted for their dress. I would not use them again if possible.

Great and friendly staff. Beautiful selection of dresses and bridesmaid dresses. Able to alter dress to fit my style.

Pretty, cheap dresses if your on a budget for only 99.00. They do have layaway there but I think it's 100.00 or more only. My dress was at 99.00 then I got another 10% off.

I absolutely love my dress and the sales lady was so helpful. She had great suggestions about what would look good on my figure. the second dress i tried on was the one(i even cried). they have all the accesories, but you can find some of them a lot cheaper. like the bras and the hair pieces. but they have a good selection.

So far at David's Bridal I have bought my wedding dress, veil, slip, and corset bra. I also picked out my top three bridesmaid dresses, my mom's dress, and my flower girl dress. The prices and selection are wonderful. The first second I walked in the door I had an employee greet me and begin the shopping process. I was assigned an employee for my shopping day and she never left my side. It was personal service that was helpful and friendly. Great Experience!

I bought all my jewelry and my veil at David's Bridal. The prices are good but some of the items look a little bit cheap. All in all I am happy with my purchases.

awful customer service. excellent choices and prices, but if you are looking for a relaxing afternoon - don't come here! be prepared to fight for space and fight for your right to be there! price does come at a cost there.

I gave in and bought my dress at DB in Woodbridge. My dress was amazing and just what Iwanted considering I didnt want to over spend on a dress I would wear for 6 hours. The only bad thing was the level of service when dealing with DB as a whole. We almost got our BM dresses from them but they couldnt get it together when it came to helping me pick out the right dresses and ordering. My dress was perfect for the night and I got lots and lots of compliments. Def love Woodbridge location of springfriend.

This vendor offers a wide variety of bridesmaid dress options. Their shop was the only place I could find the color I wanted in style that would compliment all of my bridesmaids body types. I could not be more pleased.

I didn't end up buying my dress from here, but the selection was great and they were very friendly!

I found bridesmaids dresses that I love at this vendor. However, when I went in to look at wedding dresses they were unhelpful and yelled at me for not making an appointment. I would not order a bride's dress through David's Bridal. They don't know how to treat people that are looking at potentially spending a lot of money at their store.

I let the bridesmaids pick out their own gowns. They all have something in common with their dress besides the color. When I told them I would like my bridesmaids to have different styles of dresses they helped me pick out the best dresses for my bridesmaids. They look fantastic :-)

I will never use David's Bridal after my experience with my girls! The consultation wasn't interested in helping us. She acted as if though we were keeping her from something. When we asked if there was a similar dress with cap sleeves- she looked at us as if we were from another planet. Not a helpful staff! Wish we'd never walked into the store!

They have great quality and beautiful dresses that are made to be affordable for everyone. There is no reason to spend so much on a dress that at Davids Bridal you can get gorgeous dresses starting at $99

Customer service was wonderful. They were a little pricey, but they have great deals during the summer. My consultant helped me choose the prefect dress for me and was completely honest when providing her opinion. They also worked with me within my budget and didn't try to talk me into buying things that I didn't need or couldn't afford. Overall, it was a great experience.

They have a beautiful selection of gowns and accessories, but alterations are expensive. You would think they would be cheaper being such a big company, but they aren't.

This is a cookie cutter bridal store. I was not impressed. They were not very helpful. My mother found most of the dresses I tried on and we had to wait forever to get in a dressing room.

I went into David's Bridal just to look at their selection and I didn't expect the service I received. Without an appointment, they got me into a dressing room and I was able to try on dresses. I found the right one for me and bought it right away. The staff was friendly and helpful. :)

Good Bridal shop. Great place to go to try on dresses and find good deals on everyone's dresses. Although you have to make an appointment to try on dresses.

I rated this 2 stars b/c I'm not a fan of David's Bridal However, if you are in Phoenix, AZ and need a super good seamstress for your wedding dress or anything else they have an awesome seamstress at David's Bridal named Joan who also works from her home. I went directly to her at her home just to have an elastic band put in my dress to hold it up better. At the same time she did a bunch of other dresses for me. She was sweet, fast, and great communication.

David's bridal was good, once they new I was looking to buy. The first initial look, they were kind of snobby though. But I did find the perfect dress at a reasonable price. Major alterations are not needed.

Great experience online. Able to build your wedding online and get a visual picture before you even go to the store.

I went to David's Bridal to get my wedding dress and my brides maid dresses. However I will never again go to David's Bridal because thhe women who work there are un-couth and rude. They made one of my brides maids cry.

David's Bridal is affiliated with Men's Warehouse for Tuxes, so we went there and found the PREFECT tux for him. Also too, they always have sales going on and low prices for everyone. The good things is, they work with you on what style, price and comfortability. I would choose them any day.

Great dresses for a very reasonable cost (as far as wedding dresses go!). I ended up buying the first dress I tried on (after trying on others). I also got my bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dress from here too.

Budget bridal at its best. Although I didn't end up finding my wedding dress there, the experience was pleasant and I would totally recommend to anyone. The staff was knowledgeable and extremely friendly and polite, and the dresses are quite lovely (although budget).

Brides and Bridal Party
ATTENTION:

But here is the thing, u CAN NOT MAKE A EXCHANGE ON YOUR DESSES AT ALL BRIDES MAID ETC... BRIDES U CAN ONLY CHANGE YOUR DRESS IN 30. ANY THING AFTER THAT U NEED A MEDICAL REASONTO EXCHANGE PLUS THERE IS NO LAYAWAY LADIES.

I went to davids bridal and they helped me pick ou the exact color that I was trying to match with the pocket square I had gotten at the tux shop. I found an exact color and the exact style that I had seen online to compare with my girls as well as my dress. They really go above and beyond to give you the best experience.

David's Bridal has a good selection on dresses. But in the store they only have the colors that most people don't use for their weddings. So this means that you have to order your dress. They are helpful in if you get a dress and if for some reason it gets discontinued they will call you and let you know. What I didnt like is that they try and tell you that you need an appointment to try on dresses, but when i made an appointment they didnt have any dressing rooms available. This is really frustrating!

We went here and the selection is very large, however, the service tends to be pushier than I would like. I felt alittle uncomfortable with their selling style and decided to venture elsewhere.

I bought my wedding dress here at Davids Bridal and althought I love my dress, I was disappointed with the service I received here. The woman who helped us was not totally dedicated to us. She was also helping two other brides at the same time. I spent a lot of time in dresses because she was not available to help me out of them. Also my bridesmaids were looking around for dresses they thought I might like to try on and the woman kept putting those ones back. It seemed like she only allowed me to try on the dresses she picked out. We had to ask a few different times to try on the dresses that I and my bridesmaids picked out and when she finally let me try those dresses on she was upset about it. When I picked out my dress, we found bridesmaids dresses also. The sales woman was also upset because none of my bridesmaids bought their dresses right on the spot. All in all I wish I would have bought the dress I did buy but from a different bridal shop. I was not satisfied with the sales woman that helped us.

Had no problem finding anything something that all my bridesmaids loved. Great selection and very helpful staff.

David's Bridal makes it so easy to coordinate all of your dressing needs for the wedding. Everything from the dress itself to shoes, accessories, purses, veils, and bridesmaids dresses, they have great selections. One of the best things I think this shop has to offer is the fact that they're all around the country.

We found the bridesmaid dresses on our third trip into David's. We had such a hard time narrowing it down before but when I saw this specific dress on all my girls, we knew it was the one. They worked with us to make sure we got them ordered on time and that the dresses arrived quickly (and they did...way before the expected date!) Thanks, Davids!

I was very unimpressed by David's Bridal. The dresses were not made of high quality materials, many were made of nylon, acetate and polyester, and they were much pricier than other places I went to. You buy your dress directly off the rack so there is a chance people have worn it and their on-site seamstress seems very flustered by the thought of doing any alterations other than hems.

I bought my veil at David's bridal. Compared to all the bridal shops, I saved about $100 for a similar item. I wanted a simple veil with a ribbon edge. It was beautiful.

They were helpful at first and were very nice but i felt like they didnt show too much attention to me when i needed it.

The people are very nice and helpful in picking out your dream dress. In addition the prices are pretty reasonable.

David's Bridal, while being one of the most convenient and well known bridal shops, is also one of the most affordable. My grandeur tastes were still served, for extremely low pricing. I had my own assitant and she helped me find every single dress I would ever want to try on. 3 hours later I found the perfect dress. It was the beautiful princess dress of any bride's dreams, and it was only 600 dollars! It doesn't get any better, which ment more for all the necessary accesories.

I do not recommend ANY bride OR bridesmaid going to Davids Bridal. I was considering getting my bridal gown from Davids; however, I walked into the store to have a woman record my life story into a computer then to have her try to help me with a dress, while she was helping about 4-5 other brides. She would rush, put a dress on me 1/2 way, then walk away and not be back for another 1/2 hour while she waited on others, only to come back and tell me that EVERY dress that I tried on was "it". The same sort of thing happened when I brought in all 4 bridesmaids to try on dresses. No personal assistance, brides running around in chaos everywhere!

The bridesmaid dresses were from David's Bridal. They're wonderful helpers. The dresses were beautiful, here on time, & worth the money.

horrible customer service very rude people dress selection was not good. they didn't have many of the plus size dresses to try on.

I went in to try on dresses one day, and you needed an appointment. I found the staff not very helpful, even if i was not allowed to try on dresses.

David's Bridal (Colorado Springs on Academy) was great the first time I went to try on dresses. We didn't know we needed an appointment and drove 2 hours from where we live to try on dresses. The lady who handles appointments went out of her way to fit me in, and the second dress I tried on was PERFECT!! They were super helpful in finding the right bridesmaid dresses, and everything was much more affordable than I imagined. Their website has the wonderful feature "Dress Your Wedding" where you can put everything together to get an idea of what it will look like. I had dresses in mind when I went to the store, and this helped a lot.

I purchased my dress at David's Bridal and recieved alterations through them. The dress itself was ridiculously on sale, but the sale price only made up for the expensive alterations. My dress needed to be shortened about 6 inches and taken in 3-sizes but $200 seemed very expensive to me. The end-result was still beautiful.

was very impressed with their selection and ability to help us with all our questions and made our process very easy.

They have extremely competitive prices for bridesmaid dresses. Your girls can look great in a multitude of colors and styles. You can pick one style, or just pick your color and length and let them pick what looks good on them! If they buy separate styles, you don't have to worry about their dresses not matching shade wise, it is done perfectly! There are just so many options, it is unbelievable!

After visiting the store in Texas and not being pleased, I decided to try one in Michigan. The help there was wonderful. They had my dress in the right size and the lady dressed me up all the way....she didn't just half tie me and have me hold it like the last store. I was unsure of the purchase mainly because of the cost of the under garments. The last store told me I had to purchase the exact garments from them. She informed me that I did not and could get them from anywhere. That helped me make a decision and we bought the dress right then. They were so helpful.

they did a good job with my alterations. i would recommend them to anyone. even though it's not included in the price of your dress, it was worth it for the good deal.

My BM's are of varying shapes, sizes and personalities. I decided it was best to go with one color and fabric, and let the girls pick out the style of their dress. David's Bridal allows me to do that easily. It also accommodates the out of town girls.
I fell in love with a dress by a well-known designer, but the dress was too expensive. I found a dress almost exactly like it at David's for a lot cheaper. In fact, I love it more than the designer's because there is less beading (and I'm not a beading kind of girl). The employees were very helpful and patient with me. My dress also came in a lot faster than the time they said it would take.

Went in several times to find the "perfect dress" and they were always helpful. They also gave useful tips and helped pick the perfect veil to go with my dress. They are pretty reasonable as far as dress prices too.

This place is very overcrowded and the dresses are all very plain-jane. They only allow you to try on two dresses to begin with and you have to flip through a magazine to find the dresses you like. You are not even allowed to browse the gowns. This is the fun when it comes to wedding dress shopping and its like they stripped me of that experience

When going to David's Bridal in Maple Grove, MN they told me when I set up my appointment they would have my favorites from the website pulled. When I arrived they didn't know I had favorites and refused to look at them to pull them. So we went through their book and gave the sales associate numbers for the gowns I wanted to try on. She pulled one of the 15 styles I gave to her. She brought dresses she thought I would like instead of the ones I asked to see. Needless to say, I did not order my dress there as they were very rude and didn't help much at all.

the most colors the most designs i found dresses for everyone if they are 2 6 15 or 25. something for every style size age everything and compared to other places they were surprising low priced!

They have the most adorable flower girl dresses!!! (Without busting your budget for something the girl will only wear once)

They have more online than they actually have in the store. But almost all of the dresses can be ordered in any of their colors. Also have reasonable prices.

David's Bridal is wonderful! Great staff and they help you through everything. You can even view everything online and make appointments before you go into the shop. Also, without and appt. you can go into the shop and view everything and look around. Thier prices are great, not too expensive. Also, they always have their $99 dress sales. The dresses are beautiful. They also have tuxes, shoes, accesories, and bridesmaid dresses. They have all the attire you will need on your wedding day.

my consultant was new and wasn't listening to anything I had to say. When someone else tried to help that wasn't new they did the same thing they were trying to sell me something I didn't want.

I just bought my beautiful dress today! There's no need to spend $3,000 when you can get just as great of a dress for a lot less! I looked like a princess!

Huge selection of colors and SIZES. Also had different dresses in the same shade so everyone would match even if the style was different. Easy to order online once I saw in the store.

While I do love my dress, I will have to make some changes to the design so I don't feel like I bought it at the WalMart of bridal shops. Just about everything is overpriced for what you get, and all but one salesperson I dealt with (on multiple occassions) were pushy and not really helpful. Certainly nowhere near the bridal shop love-fests you see in movies. Really pretty sad actually.

This was my first time shopping for my wedding gown. The lady who helped me was great and very helpful. The shop had great variety and was able to find the dress of my dreams for a great price. I purchased my gown, veil, under garments and jewelry for $1100 Canadian.

The consultants had A TON of patience with us while we went through dress after dress after dress, and staying until after close and getting there first thing the next morning when opening. They started to recognize my name. :)

I was satisfied with the dresses, but not with the customer service. I made an appointment 3 weeks in advance for a saturday. Once I arrived I had to wait a half hour on a consultant... not a HUGE deal, but still not a great start. Once the consultant had time for us she made an issue out of the fact she had a "big" wedding party coming in fifteen minutes. She got us two rooms hesitatingly and never once came back to check on us until the "big" party came in only to rush us out. by the way the big party was 3 girls... disgusting! I called to complain, but it didn't get me anywhere except the advice to call off work and make my bridesmaids miss school or work to come in on a weekday.
PS. When I called back the lady didnt the right color or dress on record BE CAREFUL

I was very disappointed with the selection at David's Bridal. All of their dresses look about the same, there wasn't anything unique to their styles. I was also given dresses that were twice my size and was told that they would be altered instead of walking over to the rack to get me a smaller size. I left feeling like I did not look good in any style wedding gown.

I bought my wedding dress from David's Bridal. I visited both locations in San Antonio. In both cases, the staff was extremely helpful without being pushy. I'm a small person (size 0-4 depending on brand). I really liked DB because they had a good selection of size 2 and size 4 dresses (about 40 size 2, over 100 size 4). They also carry bras, veils, petticoats, shoes, and headpieces; so even if you aren't going to buy everything at once, you can try your dress on with everything to get the full effect.

I found several great dresses for excellent prices. Service was fine and the dresses came in on time. Order swatches of your bridesmaid dresses right away - they may take a while to come in!

Very Helpful!! Make an appointment and they help you find the perfect dress! They also help find the perfect dresses for your maid of honor and bridesmaids!

Did not get my gown from here, but my bridesmaids did. My girls are all over, so I picked David's Bridal so it would be easier to get everyone on the same page, and it totally was! I was also in from out of town to meet with some of them to decide, and it was a very quick easy process! Dresses came in super fast! A++++ for David's Bridal!

I wasn't pleased with DB overall, which is why I did not purchase anything from their store. Before even stepping foot in the store, I had read several reviews online and most did not have good things to say. Furthermore, I tried to remain neutral until I had a chance to experience them for myself. I happened to be in an area of a DB one day while shopping with my mom at Trader Joe's and we decided on a whim to go in to peek an maybe even try on some dresses. Soon after we walked in and began looking at dresses, an associate came over and asked if we had an appointment for the day. When I said no, she informed us that we must have an appt. to try on any of the dresses and that if we wanted to continue to look at dresses that "I guess that would be okay." I have to be honest, by looking around, the store did not seem to be busy (enough so that my mom even made a comment about it). We immediately left and I called later on that week to book an appt. (why? I have no idea- I never should have gone back!)
When I arrived for my appointment, the "greeter/assocaite" immediately asked for all of my contact info (which I didn't feel confortable with) so I only gave my phone #. She started showing me package deals with invitations, bridesmaid options, and all these little "extras". I was there to try on dresses, not lose focus on other elements of my wedding. When asked the type of dress I was looking for, I got out a few words when I was then instructed to go to the fitting room and wait for the dresses pulled). I thought it was a joke that I didn't even have an initial opportunity to walk the floor and pull what I LIKED. A was also bummed that they hadn't even taken the time to ask the location of the wedding, an important factor (at least for me) when choosing a dress style. Anyhow, I tried on several dresses, but didn't receive a WOW factor from any, as the consultant continued to bring in styles/cuts of dresses I specifically mentioned that I weren't fond of.
From the time I left the store, I received 3 phone calls all within a week from DB. Even their "Men's" line re: Tux's called me. Week after week I received more calls and I was so irritated that I called them back several times before I asked the manager to remove my name from their listing and to contact their automated customer service center and remove my name from their list too. Don't give your phone info to them, it will turn out to be a big headache!
I'm glad that some girls are able to find their dresses here, but it was not for me. Actually, now that I think of it, I don't believe their prices were that impressive and the fact that you get the dress off the floor or transferred from another store irked me- it's not even new.
*Edit* 3-7-09
I got ANOTHER phone call from DB last week asking if I was still looking for a dress, after the manager assured me that my name was taken off of their calling list 2 months ago. My whole experience with them has been extremely annoying.

I went to David's Bridal in Springfield, MO because I heard about their big wedding dress sale. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by employees who were so excited to help me. I was paired with a lady named Lynn, and she was so, so helpful. She catered to my every need, and she really was interested in the type of dress that I was looking for. She got a dressing room started for me. She got me shoes in my right size, a bra, a pettycoat, and she even helped me get the first dress on which is funny, because it ended up being my dream dress!! She made me feel beautiful, and she made me feel like a princess...which I'm not, but it was fun pretending. She took 100$ off my dress, and I'm so excited for my big day!!

Picking a dress for your attendants shouldn't be too hard, as they are your close friends and family. I was in 5 weddings last year and found that each bride and attendants have their own personality. Keep the dresses your style but something your friends would enjoy and that they will feel comfortablein. Be sure to be aware of friends' body types i.e. height, bust, etc.
I picked Lapis for the color and tea length, however I am letting the ladies pick from 4 different styles...I have 7 attendants so the variety will be nice with overall cohesiveness. I also think it is important to keep the dresses affordable, especially if you (the bride) aren’t contributing to the cost. Although they know it is your day, your bridesmaids will be very grateful. David’s Bridal had great selections of dresses with tons of different colors, styles, and options. I was impressed with the reasonable pricing and availability in many locations throughout the US for my out of town attendants.

The lady who helped me was great. She helped me find the dress that I loved. She had patience with me because I was nervous, never once did I feel pressured.

they have beautiful flower girl dresses even ones that match some of the brides dress which i loved because my 3 girls are my flower girls and it looks so perfect with our dresses matching

I decided on David's Bridal for purchasing bridesmaid dresses. I went with them because they work with Men's Warehouse in order to coordinate the groomsmen tuxes. The day I went with my bridesmaids to try on dresses for the wedding was not so memorable, it was not a relaxing experience at all. When I arrived they had a dj playing music but it was so loud the receptionist had a hard time taking down my information because she couldn't hear over the music. After we met with our dress coordinator she informed us that she was still working with 3 other girls besides my 3 girls and they only had one dressing room for us. All 3 of my girls had to take turns trying on different dresses which was rather time consuming, not to mention the fact that their whole dressing room area only had one mirror! There were about 8 different girls trying to share one full-length mirror. To top it off, they had no where for us to sit, my family and I stood the whole time while the girls took their turns trying on the dresses.
Besides this experience nothing has gone terribly wrong, I'm just crossing my fingers that my girls will get their dresses in time.

Great selection of dresses! The staff helped me tons! They have sales on all the time and they have a web site so you can go look at dresses and have some what of an idea of what you are looking for before you go in.

I found what I wanted in one of their catalogs. There were so many color options it made it easy to find exactly what I wanted. Even though they don't have every color of the dress you want, they will help you get an idea of what you are looking for. I showed up without an appointment and they were so helpful to bring me dresses to try on. I made an appointment to take my bridesmaids and they were ready and waiting on us. It was great and convenient.

Everyone was very nice, Jill did a great job remembering each time I came in which dresses I liked and didn't like.

The David's Bridal North of Pgh has a great staff for alterations. The woman worked very hard to please me even while I was being very picky about my bustle.

The first time I went to David's bridal in July 2007I had a decent experience. The girl who worked in Middletown NY, gave me all the things in dresses that I liked, and helped me to narrow down what I liked. I came back about 3 months later, to try on some more and hopefully narrow it down more, maybe purchase a dress. She told me she was relocating to Spring Valley NY to become a manager, I was slightly unhappy because she had done such a good job the first time I went. She helped me put on the dresses, told me how things should fit and so forth.
Three months later in October 2007 I went back to Middletown's Davids Bridal. I had the world's worst associate ever. I had made this appointment months in advance and she treated me like I came in that day to try on dresses. She treated me like it was an inconvenience to be in there. Not to mention she wasn't helping me to put on dresses, such as the corset back ones that were difficult to put on. She was suggesting things that where god awful and nothing I wanted. Then at the end when I kind of decided the dress I liked, says "well how would we like to pay for that today?" as if she'd done a fantastic job at selling me a dress I picked out. She even suggested to me that I should get a size larger because she didn't think it would fit even though the 6 I had tried on fit and with space. The seamstress in the store came out and kind of scolded her and told her no way to stick to the 6. This woman was the worlds worst bridal/sales consultant!
Then after all of this in January of 2008 my mom decided to get the dress for me after about 30 more harassing annoying calls from Davids asking me when I was coming in after they've known my address to live 4 hours away from Middletown. So my mom takes the instock dress without giving her any information as to how it has be held up since the quality of in-stock dresses diminished. Shortly after my mom told Davids not to call me because she wanted to make the dress a surprise when I came home in February of 2008. Moreover they spoiled it and called me and I instantly found out. My mother then called David's to scold them after she told them not to call me.
Terrible experience, I would NEVER go to David's again. I would rather shop in a small store, I would even go to Macy's or Lord and Taylor if I had to, but NEVER to David's again.

I will be getting my dress from Davids Bridal the staff there was very helpful. I want to get married in a red dress not something they are used to, but the lady that helped me was great. I found the perfect dress. I will be getting my gown in april and it is only costing me 150 dollars. You can get a gown on spot but I got some dieting to take care of before I buy my dress. The dresses there were all really comfortable. My only complaint was the bra, it was uncomfortable and stabbed me beneath my arms.

i wanted different styles for my bride maids dresses but all the same color and they had plenty of options to choose from!

This included my dress, slip, and bra. I thought their veils were really overpriced, but in general, they have affordable dresses and really helpful staff.
