David's Bridal (Dayton, OH)

Davids bridal was pretty good. When we got there they would help us and give us dressing rooms but they always have so many people their that when your sales person walks away it would be a while until you would see her again. So alot of times if we had a question we had to go hunt for her and find her which was a little annoying but besides that they were very good with everything else

This was nice because it was a location where I could find cheaper dresses that fit my friends well. Each person picked out a different cut in the same color because I wanted them to be able to wear the dresses again, and they will. However, David's Bridal took my information in order to "make it easier for my bridesmaids," and now my mail box and cell phone have been plagued by wedding vendors of all sorts. My advice? Great for dresses, but don't give them the bride's contact information.

They did a great job on the alterations of the dress. I liked the fact that from the moment I knew I wanted the dress, they could give me an exact schedule of how long it would take for the dress to arrive and be ready after alterations. The time frame they gave me was perfect, because it made me realize that I didn’t want to wait to long before deciding on a dress. Because the dress looked so good after the alteration I will give the alteration a 5 star, but the overall experience was just average, so that was 3 stars, and that make the average 4 stars.

They have very nice invitations online and everything did work out for me; however, it was not without trial. The invite program they use to have you input your working was buggy and every time you hit save it scrambled the order of the lines--bizarre! Additionally, I ordered these black and white estate style invites and although they are lovely, the black portion is velvet and that was not listed anywhere online. I thought they were just cardstock...

You can find some fantastic dresses on the cheap. The services are only okay and occasionally they don't plan appointments for enough time. The staff tend to be very friendly however and if you just walk in, they don't treat it like a hassle.

I really didn’t like my bridesmaid’s dresses, which is funny because we drove out of our way to go to david’s bridal. We went to a typical bridal store, and they tried on dresses that were the two piece kind. I found out that the two piece kind are really meant for taller people. We bought the dresses in November, but by the time summer came around the styles in the stores were different, and also the dresses looked wintery. No one looked comfertable. I have been to weddings since then where the bridesmaids aren’t even wearing matching dresses and I think I like that much better.

David’s Bridal took care of the alterations for the bridesmaids dresses. Some people think the price is cheap, because they only charge you for what they do. I think it should be included in the price.

My wife, her mother and my mother all bought their dresses at this David’s Bridal. They have lots of parking, and are near nice restaurants, which is good because dress shopping makes everyone hungry. From my understanding, I needed to drive them to this one, because even though they were all having sales, this one has the best selection. They were happy with their dresses. They complained a little about the salesgirls, saying that they kept trying to pressure them. I was inside the store for about ten minutes, and I thought it was just a big dress store.

The customer service I received was professional and helpful. I chose a dress the first time I went to David’s Bridal. It took me a few hours to choose a dress, but my assistant was very helpful. She took the time to allow me to try on several dresses, and helped me find the perfect one. I let her know what I was looking for, and she didn’t try to get me to buy certain dresses. I am very happy with the service I received.

Well, David's Bridal is a very good deal. You can get beautiful bridesmaids dresses for very cheap. But the service is terrible! Our lady helping us had 3 other customers and it was nearly impossible to get anything from her, plus there were order mix-ups and wrong sizes: A HUGE MESS. The *only* reason I'm giving it a two is because it's very cheap.

I didn't end up buying anything from David's Bridals, but they did have a lovely selection of gowns, even for plus-sizes such as myself. My overall experience was good. However, they will keep calling you unless you blatantly tell them that you are not interested. That is the only set back in my opinion, hence why I give them 3 out of stars.

Got a great dress and it was affordable too. The alterations were easy and the dress was ready ahead of schedule.

David's Bridal has some very unique colors for bridesmaid dresses. They are very, very helpful and the consultant that I was working with always kept me up to date on any events or specials that were going on at the store.

They were semi-helpful. The dresses were lovely and relatively inexpensive. The dresses came in very quickly.

Wonderful customer service! No pressure to buy and treated me like I was a queen. I will say that it is better to go on a week day other than the weekend because I went back on the weekend for a 2nd try on and it was a lot more busy, but still just as kind. Would recommend for someone wanting to buy a dress on a budget!

I bought my wedding dress at David's Bridal. They were sort of pushy when trying on dresses by throwing a tiara and veil on you and trying to get you to buy everything there. But the lady was helpful in narrowing down the dresses I liked and to help me decide on one. But she kept calling and leaving messages on my cell phone for months about other things I could buy there. I wanted her to leave me alone. I was also disappointed that when the dress comes in you have to buy a bag to take it home in. This was pretty lousy considering how much I spent there.

They forgot about me when they put me on a "waitlist" we probably waited over an hour before we asked someone to help us out.And when she did help us she was doing other things and she wasnt helpful at all.

I had a great experience at David's Bridal. The ladies there were very helpful and did not try to pressure me into buying anything I didn't want. I was able to find two dresses that I LOVED on the $99 rack! I went to the David's Bridal near the Dayton Mall in Ohio.

They helped a little, but were not nice. WE got what we needed, but felt like we were a burden to the staff.

Decent selection of dresses, but the one you buy is the one everyone has been trying on. They won't clean it for you until you get your alterations done. The sales women are fairly nice, but some are very inexperienced and not super helpful.

The staff at David's Bridal was very friendly and helpful. They were willing to take time and really work with me and my girls. In total I have 8 girls in my wedding party and they gave each of them the same amount of time. The only thing that was frustrating was that they called me everytime one of my girl's dresses or shoes came in. In total I had to go there about 8 times within a month. I wish they would have waited until everything was there.

It IS all about the dress, but this isnt where I got mine. David's is accessible and not hard to get an appointment. This is where I went to try on the STYlE gowns that looked good on my body, also where I found a style for my bridesmaids

I had a beautiful dress picked out but then found out i was expecting about 1 month before wedding. I went back to choose a safer dress and they gave me no hassles and got me in and out with a new dress. I actually liked it better than the first one

My dress is perfect! The woman that helped me told me the first or second dress I put on would be the dress, and it was. The people were very friendly, worked with my budget as well as not being too pushy. They gave me a bunch of coupons and helpful tips for bridesmaids dresses etc. I would definietly go there again.

The sales person at the store was the RUDEST person I have ever encountered. I will not do business there again.

they are very friendly and are promped to help you findwhatever you may need. I was very happy with the service everytime i was in there.

I have never dealt with them on a personal basis but in conversation with brides I have always heard good things.
