David's Bridal

The prices are very good at David's!! I found my DREAM dress there, actually, the sales person (Kelly) found it for me. I tried on like ten dresses and then she asked if she could pick one out and I was doubtful, but she picked THE ONE!! They really know what looks good on people. I had a few minor issues with clerical records, nothing terrible, I would still HIGHLY recommend them!! Great service!!!

I found my dress at the David's in Lombard and had an overall good experience. The prices are the most reasonable prices around for dresses, especially for a dress that you will wear for only one day! The only problem I had with this location is that the girl who was my consultant literally called and left me about 25 voicemails over the next few months about getting my bridesmaids in there for their dresses. I had already went to a different location more convenient for my bridesmaids and I don't understand how they couldn't see in the computer that I already had my girls go in for their dresses at the other location?!?

I got my wedding dress from here. Brooke my consultant was great. She was so patient with me. I changed my dress 3 times, but she was right there with me. The ladies in alterations were fantastic and their prices are so reasonable.

I was so happy with David's Bridal, they had a great selection of new dresses and I found my very special dress after my second trip there. The sales staff was super friendly and very helpful, not at all pushy and never made me feel uncomfortable. My dress came in early (possibly because it was still sort of off-season) so I had plenty of time for alterations and having it steamed before my big day. The only reason for the lower rating on flexibility is only because of how busy the alterations department can get, especially when you're trying to work around having a full time job, saturday appointments are tough to get. Weeknights are a great time to go in though, and get everything taken care of.

My dress turned out absolutely gorgeous. I was really happy with it. The alterations were pretty good. The ladies were great!! I had to go in so many times that they knew me right away as soon as I came in. But they always made me feel comfortable.

I had a really nice experience with David's. I was able to browse all their dresses online and have them pull specific dresses I wanted to try on. They let me go into the dressing room by myself to get changed, which other places do not do. The price was under my budget and the dress came in much faster than expected. The only thing I could say that wasn't great was that their alterations were very expensive so I took it someplace else.

Their consultant knew the perfect dress when I couldn't find one in any bridal shop. I went to David's, tried on atleast 10 dresses based on what I thought I was looking for and when that didn't bring me my dream dress, my consultant brought me the perfect dress based on what she thought would be ideal for a beach wedding and it was EXACTLY what I was looking for!! I am glad that Vena was my consultant because she knew what I wanted when I didn't. David's alterations pricing was a bit outrageous I thought, but to find the perfect dress, I would highly recommend going to David's!

Even though I LOVED the dress I bought, the service was inadequate. When I had my first fitting for alterations, the tailors were very rude to me. I am a naturally thin woman and they would make horrible suggestions to why I was thin. Then, to add to the rudeness they didn't even alter the dress correctly. I tried my dress on two days before the wedding (thankfully) to find that they had taken in too much material. I could barely breathe. Luckily, I found someone to fix it in town. I recommend purchasing the dress at David's bridal for they have a great selection and the prices are great, however take your dress elsewhere to be altered!
