I pretty much got what I expected out of a discount chain dress store...nothing about it was bad, but nothing was excellent either.

I was very pleased with the customer service at David's Bridal. I went to try on dresses 4 times is a period of 6 months and they were so incredibly patient until I found the dress I wanted. I worked with Michael and he was amazing, I would recommend asking for him when you book an appointment. I found a great dress at a great price and my bridesmaids from all over the country were easily able to stop in a try on and order their dresses.

I was very pleased with the customer service that I received. They were very helpful and everything turned out perfect for our special day. My whole wedding party looked great and felt great in their dresses.

They were willing to ship my dress to california for me. And, when I decided to change the color from ivory to white---they were willing to make all the necessary changes for me free of charge.

Very large selection of gowns and accessories, but can also feel somewhat impersonal. Good for initial seach though.

THey overbook appointments so I felt rushed. I had a wonderful sales associate and she saved the appointment from being a total disaster.

I visited 4 dress shops this weekend and this one was tied for the worst. They switched consultants on me about 15 minutes in without even telling me. The consultant they left me with did not pay one ounce of attention to me after she somehow determined that I would not buy my dress there that day. Yes, I was at the beginning of my dress hunt, but if I had found a dress that I liked - I would've put the money down. Her attitude pushed me away, she yelled at me for not carrying a train so it didn't get dirty and most importantly, none of their dresses were very well constructed. Maggie Sottero and Demetrios gowns fit a womans body much better. I'd rather spend my money on a bridal store where they actually try and help me

I love my wedding dress and the bridesmaids dresses I got at David's Bridal. You can't beat the price. However, they were extremely rude to me and all of my bridesmaids that went to the Albuquerque store. This is unfortunate because two of my bridesmaids who live in other states (Colorado and Arizona) had no problems. I also live in California but will be getting married in New Mexico. I had NO problems with the David's Bridal here. The bridesmaids who went to the Albuquerque store were treated rudely and even after I gave specific style numbers for the dresses they were STILL given the incorrect dress. What a nightmare! I was also treated badly as the bride when I went for alterations to the Albuquerque store. The lady was rude and kept telling me that I was inconveniencing her since I had picked a day that was not good for her. I just picked up my dress and brought it with me back to California where I live and have had the alterations done here, no problem. If you don't need to use the David's Bridal in Albuquerque, don't do it, terrible experience. Otherwise if you are doing it because you have people in other parts of the country it is a good service, just be patient, the good service and experience bridesmaids get in other states will be ruined once they experience the total lack of customer service at the David's Bridal in Albuquerque! Too bad!

David's Bridal has some very nice bridesmaid dresses, however they don't put any emphesis on the bridesmaid dresses. I understand that the bride is more important, however as a bride I also want my closest friends who are bridesmaids to feel important as well. It's hit or miss with the amount of attention your bridesmaids will get depending on the day.

My experience with David's bridal was up and down. Obviously with them, you are getting what you pay for, and spending a lot on a dress was not a big priority for me. I wanted a simple and classically beautiful dress that would also be inexpensive. I also wanted to look at many, many bridesmaids dress, so in this regard, David's was the right match for me. Their sales people are hit or miss. A few were extremely helpful, and several others were unpleasant. The place is always busy, so expect to wait a while, even with an appointment. I had a few problems with the alterations, but after a strong conversation about my dissapointment with the alterations, they corrected things and gave me a small discount. Overall, I got my dream dress for $300, and bridesmaids for $100m each, so I can't complain too much. I was also able to find a ring pillow, garter, and clutch as well. It's very convenient for busy brides and/or brides on a budget.

They had a good selection of dresses. They are very willing to help. If you go on a weekday they can give you more one on one attention than a weekend. I love my dress!

I personally did not like David's Bridal. I loved the dresses I tried on, and my bridesmaids are getting their dresses there, but the service was terrible. My Maid of Honor came with me for an 11:00 appointment, and stood outside until 11:20 when they FINALLY opened the doors. The lady was rude, and she didn't understand the type of dress I wanted. She also kept giving my MOH dresses that were 2-6 sizes too big for her. I felt extremely rushed and unappreciated.

Its ok. Tons of dresses. But service is not the greatest. but what do you expect in a dress shop like that. Once you did get a bridal retail worker to help you they did their best to help you decide.

The staff at davids bridal were so helpful and nice. They helped me really enjoy my experience in picking out the bridesmaids dresses. The dresses were on sale and look great on all my girls. The ladies there were so professional. it was a great experience.

I didn't get my dress here for my wedding, but I bought a dress here for my friends wedding at the same time as I was getting married. The dresses are very nice and you can get some good deals on some of them. Mine was on sale!

Davids Bridal is really only worth going to for the price. Very good prices on sales and such. But the store is very dirty. The sales staff is rude and do not allow you to really have an opinion. My maid-of-honor was trying to find me dresses to try on while I was in the dressing room, the sales associate would not listen to her thoughts, she knew my style and what I was looking for and the sales lady did not care. They are all very pushy- when it comes to what you should wear, you getting your alterations done there, and appointments are very strict. I understand most bridal boutiques have appointments only- but this is not a boutique, its not a well taken care of store. Sample shoes, veils, and slips are very used. I only went here because of the price. My dress was beautiful- and there were many gorgeous dresses to choose from- and the price was great. So if you can stand the sales staff and need to go cheap on the dress David's Bridal is an ok spot.

David's Bridal is not a store I'd recommend. The dresses are poorly made and their quality is sub-par.The most glaring problem I have with David's Bridal is the damage that gets done to the dresses since they are literally purchased "off the rack" in some cases. It felt more like a costume shop than a bridal boutique. Zippers not working, bows not secure on fabric, the list goes on.I used David's Bridal only as a last resort. I needed bridesmaid dresses and since my bridesmaids were scattered across the country, David's Bridal was the most convenient. That being said, it would have been particularly helpful if you could purchase their entire collection -- at least of attendant ware -- on the internet. With the nature of it being an off-the-rack store, a significant online shopping collection would have been incredibly helpful.I am very, very grateful I did not get my wedding dress there.

The only thing I bought at David's Bridal was my hair pin. I think I may have gone there on one of the busiest days of the season, so it was hard to find someone to get the hair pin I wanted from the back. It was a little more than I wanted to pay, but after searching for a few months for one I gave in and got the expensive one. Other than that, the salespeople (when I finally tracked one down) were very nice and helpful.

I went to davids 3 times - thinking I had the one I wanted from an online picture - The dress i bought i hadn't even seen before - go and try it on until it FEELS like the one - you just know it when you put the dress on!!!I bought my dress right there and 3 weeks before the wedding they steamed the dress and veil - it was wonderful! My bridesmaids all got their dresses on time and in great condition - Davids really works well with the bride...i could also take my puppy in with me - made it a really "family" experience! :-)

In the beginning, I really liked David's Bridal. I found a dress I loved, and it was reasonably priced. Two of my bridesmaids also had good experiences getting their dresses ordered. The third however, didn't. Her dress she ordered came in stained and then they couldn't get another dress in time for the wedding (she ordered it well in advance). She ordered a different dress that could only guarantee about a week before the wedding (and she had to fly here for the wedding). So just as a backup plan, she bought a second dress that she wasn't allowed to return, just to be safe. Then, since all my girls were coming from out of state, my stepmom suggested that they mail their dresses there and I have them steamed so they wouldn't have to carry their dressed on the plane. She called David's Bridal and they said that wouldn't be a problem. Three weeks before the wedding when I had everyone's dress they told me they had no availability to steam the dresses anytime before the wedding. How long does it actually take to steam a dress, really? So I called other bridal shops and got similar stories but I ended up finding Demetrios who was awesome and had all the dresses done for me at my convenience. You would think that the people we bought the dressed from would help us out though, right?

I knew that I wanted a simple sillouette. I also had a limited budget and didn't want to spend it all on a dress I would wear once, but still wanted a beautiful dress that made me feel beautiful. One downside, David's bridal requires appointments and it took forever to get in to get one. Also, if wedding dress and/or bridesmaid dresses took 6 weeks to get in. When I finally got in, I was able to try on over 20 dresses and the girls there were a lot of help. At first, they couldn't work with me to get my sisters in to try on dresses, but after I explained they were out of town and that they only the day, they were very helpful. I find the perfect dress for me there and the price was AWESOME. Plus the sale they have like every 3 months was really helpful to bring the price down from $550 to $250 plus accessories

David's Bridal constantly kept messing up the bridal party. They would leave names out and add incorrect names. I spend many hours on the phone with them trying to work it out and it just didn't seem very orgnaized. I had brides maids all of the country and actually getting their dresses ordered and at the right price was a big pain!! Then the dress I bought on sale suppostedly, but then by the time I made the alterations I should have probably spent a little more because the cost of the alterations was way more than I had planned!!! Then after I got the alterations done, I noticed that some beads were missing from the dress. All in all it was a BEAUTFUL Dress and it was worth it all, but there were a some stresses with it.

very good service, nice employees, the only thing is they should make sure the size of the gown are 100% right or if the bride wants something special in her dress.

I came to them with only $100 and a week before my wedding. As soon as I told them how soon my wedding was, they jumped up and started helping me, running around looking for exactly what I told them I was hoping for. They found me my dream wedding dress for $99!!!!! My dress was soooo beautiful, my husband was sooo happy. He has pictures of me from that day everywhere :) I would definately recommend David's Bridal, they're the best!

David’s Bridal gave me the exact dresses I wanted for me and my bridesmaids. However, the salepeople were not very helpful to me or my bridesmaids even after making appointments and waiting. They seem bothered by our presence even though we spent thousands of dollars there. Oh well, the dresses were beautiful, but watch out for the workers!

David's Bridal was really a great place for me to go. At the time, I was working for Tuxedo Junction, and knew EXACTLY what I had wanted for a dress and for tuxedos. I had bought another dress in Phoenix, Arizona; but had decided that it was too much for the wedding I was having, and decided to return it. They did so with no qualms whatsoever. I found the dress I wanted, and also got some favors for the wedding with the store credit I had. The ladies I worked with were so helpful in helping me find what I wanted. The price for everything was very reasonable, and even their alterations were a great price as well. I found the bridesmaids dressed I wanted, and every single one I wanted was in stock. I also used their preservation service and it came out beautifully!

Did a good job on alterations, was back quick and seamstress was very nicce, Added extra things without charge.

Their communication was very poor with us. I had gone in for my "final" fitting, or so I thought, but it turns out that the lady did not know how to bustle the dress and so did not finish the dress! I only happened to be in town from 3 hours away where I live, and I went by since I was there anyways, just two weeks before the wedding, and it turns out that they had needed me to come in to do the real final fitting, but nobody told me!! A disaster was narrowly missed!

I spent several hours of just waiting around. Whether it was me just picking up my dress, and the associates continually answering the phone or helping other customers while I waited, or while I was trying on dresses. It appeared that the store was understaffed, but the staff they had wasn't necessarily great. There were several times they were just chatting with each other, and almost looked bothered when I asked for help.

I really enjoyed my experience at David's Bridal. Robin, my bridal consulatant was really kind, and helpful. She helped me try on the fluffiest Cinderella dresses, without complaining, and gave me really good tips on each dress. She helped me pick the Cinderella dress that best fit my shape. Thanks David's Bridal! I really enjoyed my experience.

They were helpful and we were able to find a great dress that was not too expensive.

I was able to get a great price on my dress and it is something that I will forever treasure

David's did great with helping me pick out the perfect dress! In fact the one I liked was the second one I tried on!

David's Bridal worked out absolutely perfectly for us. I had five bridesmaids in all different sizes and modesty levels. I could not find a dress that was flattering for everyone AND they were all spread throughout the country. I just chose the color plum from David's Bridals and let them all pick out their own dress. So I had five different style dresses but because of the uniformity of David's Bridal, the colors were so close it was a great effect! And with the same style #'s country wide, a bridesmaid could email me their style # and I could just look it up online. Absolutely painless way to do bridesmaid dresses and everyone loved their dress. I let my maid of honor pick first and just emailed the rest of the girls that that style number was no longer available so they each had a differnt dress. It was great!

I had to order my dress and the dress was going to come in really close to the wedding date anyway, but when i called on the date it was supposed to be in the store it was not there. I went down there in tears because i was afraid that i had bought a dress and it was not going to be there for my wedding. They were able to get me my dress but it did not have the bustling on that like my mother and i were told. When we asked them about it we told them that it was not included and that they could not do the bustling in time for my wedding. I would not reccomend them for any new bride.

They were helpful but pushy since I did not get my dress from them, but they were cheaper then demetrios for brides maids and had the color I wanted. Plus out of state members could go to their local davids bridal to try on style and place their order so I dealt with it.
