Louisville David's Bridal did a pathetic job. The girls were forcing me to fit and try to buy a dress that I did not want. They would not listen to my specific needs. I had to order my wedding dress on David's Bridal online by myself and I got it on time. IT was exactly what I wanted and at a wonderful price. I also had to order the brides maid dress online becasue of the same situation as my dress.I bought bridemaid shoes at the store and had ordered them dyed. The store promised me a day and time they would be ready. We were to travel to our destination wedding and on the day of the travel we went to David's Bridal, not find the they could not find the shoes. Whgen they did, they were not even done yet and we had to suffer the stress of waiting and handed the shoes at our own risk with warnings not to put them against anything else lest the color bleeds. That was horrible and I think they need to train themselves to do a better job with cleints because weddings are truly a lifetime expereince and memories should be beautiful not such as what I went through with them!!!

I loved my dress and the price of it too but the some of the workers hate their job and let you know all about it. Now there was a few in there that was very helpful and loved the job and knew what they were doing. Just make sure you make an appointment with someone that has been there a while.

I would never use this store again. My maid of honor tried to order a dress in her color and size and they refused to order it for her. They said they couldn't do that, but I have done this before for a friend's wedding, so I know they can do that. They were also very rude to another one of my bridesmaids and didn't send her dress for a whole month even though she ordered it to be delivered to her house. While transferring the dress to the David's bridal in Bowling Green, however, they were very cooperative and friendly at that store.

Pros: Great prices. I LOVED my dress and I know it would have cost twice as much in another store. Staff that TRIED very hard to help.Cons: Too many people crammed into a tiny story and not enough employees to help everyone in a timely manner. Every time I went to pick up a dress or accessory, I had to wait at least 45 minutes to check out. Even when I had appointments to try on dresses, I had to wait 15-20 minutes before someone came to help me. The quality of the dresses is great for the prices, but the service is definitely lacking.

The person that made my experience at David's Bridal the absolute best was Christine! She was amazing!! She made me feel as if I was the only bride there!! as for the store, I love their 99.00 rack!!

Ordered my bridesmaid dresses from Davids. Our consultants were wonderful, and the dresses came in a lot quicker than expected!

I actually shopped at the David's Bridal in Clarksville Indiana. This store was horrible. My conultant did not help me with the dress, shoes or veil. I think that the alterations were the worst!!! Several attempts to get my dress to fit right. I actually had to exchange my shoe for a different heel height for my dress to look right. A bride does not need the added stress of David's Bridal!!!!

Okay, the dress was wonderful. From the moment I put it on, I never wanted to take it off. I had been to more pricier boutiques, but none of their dresses made me feel the way mine did.The alterations department did a hellvua job, especially considering my dress consisted of 10 layers and required hemming by removing the bodice from the bottom (so as not to ruin the trim).The sales department was... lacking. I went in there first, tried it on, loved it, but wanted to think about it. So they put it on hold for me. That night I came back wanting to try it on again, and it took them a ridiculous amount of time to find it. All in all, I was incredibly happy with my purchase.

They were all very helpful. I was there several different times and the times I went in for my dress went very well. The only problem we came in contact with was when I brought my bride maides. They had over booked that day and ended up shifting us around the room because there were other groups that they needed to make room for. It made me feel slightly less important. But other than that, it went well.

The staff at the Louisville David's Bridal was amazing! They were extremely helpful and understanding. I bought a dress from somewhere else and ended up getting the dress of my dreams from David's Bridal. I bought the dress only three weeks from my wedding date and it was ready in only 2 weeks..and I had tons of alterations done!! They are great!!

I made an appointment. When I got there I had to wait for 30 minutes for the sales rep to finish with another customer. When she finally got to me, I told her I wanted an A-line dress, very simple, with very little bead work, no ruffles, bows or colors. I also told her I was working on a budget. Every dress she showed me was very flashy, lots of beading or red (very hard to imagine the dress in all white when you see so much red) and Every dress she brought me was 250.00 or more over my budget.

I loved my dress. It was exactly what I was looking for and couldn't be found anywhere else local. I was so disappointed in the service I received I wish now I would not have bought my dress at David's. The consultants were not always friendly or helpful. I had several issues with my bridesmaids dresses and I wasn't called when my dress arrived. If their customer service skills would improve, their shop would blow the competion in Louisville out of the water. I feel their selection and quality beat other salons, but I felt like another number there.

always try and find a dress that you like before you go to the store. if they dont have the exact one that you want they will usually find something pretty close or one that you'll like better. try and go in at least 6 to 10 months before your wedding date. and really get your bridesmaid on the ball about getting their dresses.

the people who helped me with trying on and picking out my dress were nice. i thought the people in alterations were rude, and the prices were too high. i would recommend buying a dress there but taking it somewhere else for alterations.

I was impressed with the service I received from Barbara at David's Bridal. I bought my dress and accessories and my 2 bridesmaids bought their dresses there, too. The dresses and alterations were done when they said they'd be done. We used the David's Bridal in Louisville, KY and Austin, TX.

i got my dress at davids bridal it was on the 99 dollar rack i couldnt beleive it was only 99 dollars it had so much beaded work on it and it was just so beautiful. you dont have to spend so much money on a dress you will wear once.

Barbara was wonderful to work with. She really made me feel comfortable and I loved the dress I picked -- it didn't even need alterations. My only issue was that the bridesmaids ordered their dresses in the size that fit when they tried on the samples. They came in and were much too tight. According to the sales lady when we exchanged them, "you always order them a size bigger because they stretch when people try them on." While this makes sense, they should tell you this when you ORDER rather than when the too-small dresses arrive. (Barbara wasn't involved with the Bridesmaids dresses -- she gets 5's across the board).

What can i say.... with there huge selection it was very wasy to find the dress of my dreams there and the staff is super helpful

At first I went to david's bridal, and did not find anything I like. It was just impossible, and a rough day, at that. I almost bought another dress at a local place closer to home, but I just had a feeling it was not 'the one'. My sister (maid-of-honor) pushed me to go to David's, and I am glad I did. I found the most perfect dress, EVER! Everybody was like "WOW". The lady helping me was great. I even had to get my dress altered in a rush, and they helped me take care of that without having to pay extra, Knowing I would if I didn't get it done by two weekends. I got my veil, shoes, brides-maids dress, and under garments. It was wonderful! Thanks Davids Bridal. p.s. you can usually find a sale going on for the $99. I didn't catch that one, cuz I have an odd body type, but I still got $50 of my dress and 10% off my sisters for buying in the same place.

I loved my dress, but this was the worst service that i have ever recieved. Not only was the service bad when i was getting my wedding gown, but it was worse when we were there getting the bridesmaid dresses. I made an appointment so that we would have time to get things done that day and so we would have all the help we needed. She did not even spend any time with us and still got to put her name on all the sales that day. I was very disappointed. Also, I wanted to take the halter off of my dress and make it into just a sweetheart neckline, but they said the only alterations that they do are the ones that are necessary (such as bustle, shortening, taking in, etc).

David's Bridal was very helpful in pciking out a dress and dealing with alterations. My bridesmaids, mother, and flower girl all purchased their dresses their as well.

My bridesmaids dresses were bought here, and the lady who helped us gave lots of usefuly advice about the style of shoes and jewelry to pick out, even though we did not purchase the accessories from her store.

The variety of dresses is not bad compared to other local stores. They did not have any dresses that fit me...if you need a 0 or 2 then you should look somewhere else. It was very difficult to tell if a dress looked right or not because everything had to be pinned back. I bought my dress on clearance which was great but the cost of alterations almost made it not worth it. However, I loved the alteration staff- they did an excellent job and were always friendly. I wasn't as thrilled with the service of the local manager. Although she was friendly, she was very panicky which made me nervous. For instance, she said things like 'if you don't buy that dress now, it won't be there tomorrow' and 'oh my gosh, you haven't ordered your bridesmaids dresses- I don't know if they'll make it on time!' Needless to say, the dress was still there and the bridesmaids dresses made it with plenty of time to spare. To end on a positive note, the staff is extremely attentive which was really nice.

The dress and veil I picked from David's Bridal is perfect for me and my personality. They have so many different choices for every type of bride.

The staff is a little lazy, but the dress was stunning. My wife took advantage of the traveling dress sale to benifit breast cancer research. She found a beautiful dress for only $300. I would reccomend that all future brides check this one out!

Dress was a great bargain for $99. So glad I went there. I choose not to use their alteration department because they were really pricey! I found a much better deal elsewhere for the alterations!

In the end, I cannot sincerely complain. They were fantastic with my dress and alterations. They only complaint I had was when I had to go back for my bridesmaids dress and they simply didn't care to help me. It took me sitting down on the floor, trying to figure out what to do about the situation before anyone came over and helped me find something. The dresses were beautiful, and everything worked out.

My top took two weeks for them to send away and have cleaned. When it finally got back it still had spots on it! They also called me to let me know my dress and veil had arrived (after I already picked it up- they tried to give me two dresses!) If I weren't honest I would have just taken the second set of items. My dress was very beautiful though, and perfect for me. I would suggest shopping early b/c I only had about a month to plan and it wasn't enough time. The only other thing I would say is that the girl that was helping me kept trying to get me to try on veils that I said I wasn't interested in. So make sure you tell them what you like and do not like.

If you want a princesses' dress at a paulper's price than David's Bridal is the place to go. I found the most beautiful dress for $500. No matter what your style is this place will have the dress and size that you need right their in the store. You won't have to try on a dress 3 sizes too big and decide if it's the dress for you. Their sizes run from 2 -24W. The staff is somewhat knowledgable. Alterations can be done in-house at a reasonable price. David's offers all the accesories and some really nice discounts on bridemaids dresses and services if you purchase your dress from them. Even if your budget allows for a $3000 dress, give David's Bridal a try.

The ladies who work here helped me and all of my bridesmaids as we looked through & tried on dresses, shoes, jewelry & veils. They were quite helpul!!! All of the employees that we dealt with were very kind and professional. I called the day before to make our appt's and when we showed up they had someone ready to work with us. I was even able to make payments on my dress. I would certainly recommend everyone go there and look at their dresses!

This vendor was pretty good and easy to get along with for the most part. I scheduled my appointment, went in and they were very helpful in bringing me dresses to try on based on my taste. The problem I had with them was that after purchasing my dress I later decided I wanted a different style and they would not let me exchange even though I had made no alterations to the dress, the tags were still attached and I had my receipt. They only allow for exchange of sizes in the same style. They have a little signature line on the receipt that you are suppose to sign to acknowledge this policy but no one explained it to me nor did I sign but they still would not let me exchange. I was simply out the money on the first dress. I ended up going to a private boutique for the wedding dress I wore. In addition to the dress I also purchased a tiera, veil and bra. I loved the tiera and veil, I wore both on my wedding day. As for the bra, don't let them talk you into one as they did me. Some of the dresses (like mine) hold up very well without these expensive bras; especially if you are average or small in bust size (I am a 34C). Bottom line I would recommend this vendor if you are a person who is set on decisions when you make them and do not have a concern for wanting to exchange as that was the only problem I ran into with this David's Bridal. Otherwise they are very helpful and have a wide selection of affordable and beautiful gowns as well as lovely, moderately priced accessories.

When I went to pick out my dress they seemed really nice and I asked them about alterations I wanted to make to the dress and I was assured they would be able to do them no problem, after all it was simple. I had them hold the dress for me in the protective bag as it was months before the wedding. I returned to the store which was more than 2 hours away a few months later, and when I got the dress home the bottom of it was fillthy, not a little dust, we're talking nasty hair all over it and dirt. When I called the store they were all oh that can happen. I was royally pissed off. Luckily a store had opened that was closer to my house and I took it to them and pretty much had to force them to exchange it because this was not a simple dry clean situation. Anyway I got a new clean dress and made the appointment for the alterations and when I got there they said oh no we can't change the integrity of the dress after they had told me it was no problem! Again I was not pleased and had to go elsewhere. And just for everyone's information all they will no is "hem" the dress which means they'll pin it under in the back but no actual hemming will take place.

It was always so busy when I went it, which I realize was not their fault. The girls always remembered me when I came back, which made me feel special, and they also dealt very well when I had to exchange my dress for the 100th time it seemed due to weight fluctuations (in a good way! :) They were so sweet!

I was kind of surprised that they weren't a little better price wise. It just seemed to be fairly expensive for just simple black dresses for my bridesmaids. Also, they kept ttelling my bridesmaids that they needed to go up in size for their dresses, which was not what I wanted to hear, or them for that matter

Some people have issues working with such a large chain like this, but I really enjoyed my experience with David's. First and foremost, make an appt.! If you go in there without an appt., it will be near impossible to get individual service. My consultant was very good and listened to my needs. I told her what I liked, and didnt like, and she was able to select several dresses that matched my style and fit into my price range. She never tried to get me to spend more either. David;s really is a one stop shop for your attire, viel, shoes, alterations, bridesmaid dresses, accessories, etc. The only thing I didnt really like was the price of alterations. They seem unreasonable to me. I actually went somewhere else for alterations and saved alot of money. I have also purchased several bridesmaid dresses there and have never had a problem.

After trying just about every bridal shop in the central KY/Cinci area I was tired of dealing with bridal consultants, I wanted to browse and try on and not have anyone hounding me. I found that at David's, when I had a question or needed something they were available and I liked that, I am glad they didnt stand behind me and give me nonsense information. I bought my dress there and loved it, the price was reasonable and it came in on time. I wish I had gotten my bridesmaid dresses there too!!

They have a great selection of dresses, and it's really nice that they have a huge selection in stock if you're a bride who doesn't have a lot of time for ordering your dresses. Bridesmaids dresses are available in a lot of colors too.

Keeping in mind that this is a bridal dress store and that the workers see hundreds of brides a day, I felt that they really tried hard to make me and my special day the most important thing on their plate. They all worked really hard to get me whatever I needed. While I didn't ask for it, or demand it, they really strived to make sure that I was dressed perfectly for my perfect day!

If you have a really limited budget, it's a good place to go. However, the dresses are not super high end quality, but if you wanted a really high end dress, you certainly wouldn't come here. They run commercials of having $99 dresses, but when you get there, they only have a few and they are in VERY limited sizes. I didn't find the staff there to be too helpful when I was there looking for a dress. They didn't recommend dresses for me and just basically let me try to wade through everything on my own. The ladies who did the fittings were wonderful, however.
