Once you turn thirty, it seems that almost everyone you know is getting married. In 2007, I went to 14 weddings, and I was in three. Bridesmaid dresses can be expensive, and being a part of the bridal party can be very expensive. Seeing that my bridesmaids (three in total) offered to pay for their bridesmaid gowns, and seeing as they would probably never wear these dresses again, and seeing as I wanted to be the most beautiful woman at my wedding, we opted for very simple bridesmaids styles at David’s Bridal. The best thing about David’s is that there are a dozen location across town, and the girls were able to go to the one closet to them once the dress style was picked. We were able to view the dresses online and debate a little about color and style, and we were able to choose one rather quickly. After lots of experience, I would say that a strapless a-line is the best fit for most bodies. Also, the dresses we decided on were $145, which is about average.

My niece, Satori, was really excited that she got to be the flower girl. She was the only person who was officially wearing wedding gear, so her mother and I went to David's Bridal with the mindset that the seven year-old girl could wear as much ruffles and lace as she wanted. The saleswomen were really nice to us all, even when Satori got a little bossy, but it was so cute hearing her say that she wanted something for her auntie's "very special occasion". David's bridal is set up so that the bride can stand in front of a huge mirror, and I think it was very special for Satori to have this moment to herself. They really went out of their way to make her feel like a princess, especially with the small touched of adding flowers to her hair and a veil. Her mother and I were really happy with the whole process because they let the seven year-old look like an endearing seven year-old.

This was the first wedding that any of us had been in, so it was quiet an experience for all of us. Once we had decided on a dress for me, something very long and sleek and Grecian, we tried to find gowns for the bridesmaids that would reflect a similar style. Pat and I had wanted there to be daisies as the main flowers on our wedding, because they are such happy and cheerful flowers, and I was trying to convince the girls that yellow would also be a great color. Under the suggestion of the sales associate, we chose a very vibrant green that stood out against a bouquet of daisies. I was really pleased we how the whole process went, and was happy that the sales person was so professional when dealing with our group! We had to go back for several fittings, but luckily we didn’t need to go back all together. I also felt that David’s has a great selection for whatever price range you want to stay in, and that they also have some rather modern dresses, which I didn’t expect at all. It was fun, good experience, and since then I have been back once more as a bridesmaid.

They forgot to put the bustle in and ended up coming to the Chapel and doing it there while my husband and I waited to get into our limo and join the guests who were drinking jovially without the Couple.

Other than the issue with Alterations, they are a nice store. The dresses are unusually universal, well priced, and have an awesome variety. The associates are all well mannered and incredible helpful.

The girls had an easy time fitting into their size group, finding what they needed, and getting them in time for the ones that weren’t ‘in-stock’.

My daughter and Dan’s daughter were going to be my unofficial bridesmaids, and the agreement was that they could get whatever dresses they wanted within reason (Dan offered to pay for the dresses, which they quickly accepted). The girls are beautiful, they play lots of sports and are in great shape. I didn’t know what they would choose, but they ended up choosing matching yellow dresses not from the bridesmaid section but from the prom section at David’s Bridal. According to them, the prom section was more fun, and that the dresses were less boring. The dresses looked like cocktail dresses from the fifties, with a high collar and pleats. The girls looked really cute. The dresses were not that expensive (when I stood next to them, it was clear that my dress was much more expensive), and they fit well so they didn’t need any alterations.

I liked David's Bridal, they had a good selection of dresses with different styles and even different colors. I wanted a semi-ivory dress that wasn't stark white so it would go better with my complexion, and they had just the right shade that I was looking for. We also got the bridesmaids dresses and accessories there, they have everything! We could get whatever style shoes we wanted matched perfectly with our dresses. It was great!

I shopped at david's bridal for my dress at their $99 dollar sale. they had a great selection and i found my perfect fairytale dress. I wanted the option of having a touch of color on my dress and they offered that. they have great prices and customer service. I also loved that they had shoes and accessories if we wanted them. I would definitely go there again!

Our experience was great at David's Bridal. We picked out BM dresses in about 15 minutes, had all the girls measured and ready to order in a half an hour-a pretty painless procedure and I think everyone enjoyed the experience. We were able to get lovely shoes that were able to be dyed the exact color of the girls dresses (how cool!) and we also got them clutch purses to match. They had accessories available as well (earrings, necklaces, bracelets, hair pieces/tiaras, etc. but I was planning on giving the girls that as their gift so we didn't check that out...but cool that they had it all in one place if need be!

We actually found our Bridesmaids dresses before I found my dress! I was positive about the color and style I wanted for them so we went ahead and picked them out and ordered them to get it out of the way. Their dresses were beautiful and the service at David's was great. It was actually quite busy while we were there, but we still got our stuff done and were in and out in an hour---sometimes you can wait forever in those places, so we appreciated that. I would recommend David's Bridal for any Bridesmaid needs!

I liked the dress I bought but the staff wasn’t very helpful. The store itself was too cluttered and there weren’t enough staff members to help me. If you know what you are looking for and don’t mind waiting for service, than this store is okay.

Again, The Wedding Shoppe's basement with Bridesmaids dresses was chaotic and unorganized, it was all together overwhelming...so needless to say when we went to David's Bridal we had a great experience. We could look online or in the catalog at all the different styles, or look in the store. They had a bunch of different colors and different styles, and we had a hard time narrowing it down. I loved that they were ogranized and everything in order. The sales girls were very helpful and polite, giving everyone compliments as they tried on their dresses.

I don't particularily like David's Bridal, but I wasn't real familiar with the wedding planning process, and where to go or where to even get information. Shortly after we got the dresses, I went to a wedding fair which helped alot but before then I had only heard of davids. I liked that you could get any style in any color, so they bridesmaids didn't haev to have the same exact style dress. The sales people were kind and our experience was fine. Nothing too original or unique there though, all kind of the same.

We had a good experience here for bridesmaid gowns, after a not so good one at The wedding Shoppe (old dresses, not a good selection, unorganized) Compared to that, DB was really great, had all colors, all different kinds and they were neatly organized. I was overwhelmed with the choices available and we ended up with a great classic dress.

I got the best service at Davids bridal and found the dress of my dreams and very reasonable. It was actually being discountinued and got the dress 1/2 price.

I had a great experience the first time I went into DB--the woman who helped me was great! The next two times I went in I was a little less pleased, as the women helping me then did not seem to listen to what I wanted in a dress. However, I ultimately went back to the first saleswoman and found a beautiful dress.

My first place of trying on a gown and the assistant who was helping me was extremely negative. I told her about my mother's dress and she stated that I wouldn't be able to fit in the dress unless I lost weight, very rudely. So after that experiance I didn't go back.

We got the bridesmaids dresses at David’s Bridal only because all of my Bridesmaids were still in college and some of them didn’t have jobs, so money was tight. It wouldn’t have been my first place to pick them out, but I thought they were pretty for our budget….I didn’t want anyone breaking the bank in order to wear a dress in my wedding that they may not wear again. But, we did cute little black strapless dresses that I think they will be able to wear again and they seemed really happy about them. They looked great in pictures too!!

Like I mentioned before, they were perfect for what we were looking for, simple and plain yet elegant. If we would have had a larger budget, I would have branched out but the customer service was good and we had fast turn-around times on the dresses. We had one minor problem with an alteration but they fixed it for us in a timely manner and everything was fine. They are very strict there though, one girl forgot something that she needed to pick up her shoes and they almost wouldn’t give them to her! She told them my name (the Bride) and everything and she had to fight to get them, which can be a good and or a bad thing!

We went to boring old David's Bridal...doesn't everyone? We looked around at the wedding shoppe for bridesmaid gowns but a lot of their styles were either outdated or looked like prom dresses for teens (very short) and I was hoping for some more classic and simple (a tube top longer dress) so we headed to David's Bridal. If I wasn't looking for something plain and simple I would not have been satisfied, because everything is pretty plain and boring...but I knew they would have exactly what I was looking for in almost every color and I was right. It was great for what we needed but nothing too unique or different about their dresses.

I had horrible experience with Davis' Bridal...the workers were not helpful and one of them was rude to me and my maid of honor when we were looking for a certain dress. We were looking for a certain style and she basically told us to go elsewhere. We looked around on our own and helped ourselves find what we wanted..we ended up finding something similar and settling but the first experience was not great and the dresses all look the same. I would advise brides to go elsewhere for their dresses.

I just loved David’s Bridal. They had so much selection to choose from and I really liked how you could choose the same color but any style variation of the dresses. We also were able to dye our shoes the exact color of the Bridesmaids dresses which looked so nice instead of having to try and find ones that match for everyone. We loved how we could also get them altered right there, and they would hold them for us if we didn’t want to take them home months before the wedding. It was very convenient.

We bought our bridesmaid dresses from David’s Bridal (review above) so we went ahead and had them altered there and they turned out really great-the gals there did a wonderful job and the alterations were to a T! All the girls looked and felt comfortable in their dresses and I think that is the most important part. They were willing to work with us and keep altering until everyone was satisfied and the dresses fit right. I would go back there in a heart beat!
