I got all my bridesmaid dresses, shoes, and accessories from this store. The service was always in a rush and the store was always chaotic. I was very disappointed with the customer service. I had ordered and paid for all my bridesmaid shoes. I was told when I purchased them that I could pick up all 7 pairs at the same time. I had requested that they call me, the bride, when the shoes come in because they would be my gifts to my bridesmaids. When 2 of the 7 pairs came into the store, David's Bridal called the individual bridesmaids to come pick up (there goes my surprise for my bridesmaids). When I called David's Bridal to tell them they should be calling me instead, like I had requested, the male at the receiving department gave me an attitude. He also told me I couldn't wait until all the shoes arrived to pick them up. I had to pick them up now or risk them being sent back for failure to pick up. Of course when 2 more pairs came in they again called the individual bridesmaids to pick up instead of me. When I called to see if all the shoes had arrive, because I personally never got a call, they couldn't tell me whose shoes had come in and whose shoes had not been picked up. I was like isn't it in your computer system?! No, they wanted me to tell them what sizes I had already picked up and they can tell me what other sizes are there. Then when my bridesmaid went to pick up her dress, David's Bridal mistakenly updated her contact information for the bride's information. Bottom line is over the 4 or 5 times I went to this store, each time I experience the worst customer service ever! You would think they will try to make a bride's experience stress-free and pleasant. But I feel so disappointed every time I go into the store. Thank goodness I didn't get my wedding dress from them!

My dress was gorgeous but FYI if you go ask for ALIX. She was the only consultant that actually acted like she cared and wanted to help. She was fantastic!!'

My dress was so beautiful and didn't cost a fortune(even though everyone thought it did!) And the ladies at David's Bridal were wonderful while they helped me find it! They have a wide selection of different styles and they work with you to find the dress that looks perfect on you.
They even treated my flower girl like a princess and made her feel like the day we went in to find her dress was all about her. It was so...

Beautiful dress and service was fantastic, but will buy accessories and undergarments elsewhere

Everything was great in the beginning once I purchased my dress; however; once it was time to pick up my dress, there were problems. First, when I purchased my dress I asked if there would be any other charges/fees that I would need to pay. The answer was "no." However, when it was time for David's to steam clean my dress (for free---this is what I was told), the manager said "the policy had changed and they were now charging $40 to steam clean wedding dresses." After going back and forth with the manager she finally agreed to steam clean it for free. Next, I later found out (after my wedding) the salesperson should have showed someone who would be helping me with my dress how to tie it correctly in the back. No one ever did that. It took more than 20 minutes to get my dress on and tied the correct way.
I was not happy with David's Bridal in the end.

A nice lady found me some beautiful selections in my size and price-range. They sized me for flattering under garments, and let me try on various designs. After realizing how tight our budget really was, and the type of dress that I was attracted to, she pulled out the perfect dress in the perfect size... and I was quick to claim it as "the dress' for my wedding. We paid a very reasonable price for the dress and all the accessories, and planned a time to pick it up after it was steamed for me.
Unfortunately, I never saw that dress again. Two days before the Thanksgiving holiday and less than a week before the wedding, my new hubby drove me an hour to the store to pick up my dress, and I waited for them to go get it from the back. Twenty minutes later, the manager suddenly walks over without the dress. She tells me that she has "good and bad news, but the bad news isn't too bad."
They had lost my dress. But, they had it in a size up... so if I had at least an hour, they could alter it for me at no charge and I could pick it up on Monday, two days before the wedding and the day I was supposed to leave for the resort. At this point, my heart is racing. We had family coming into Florida from Ohio and so much to do. I literally said to her "No, that is bad news. Get this done, now.." because I had no idea what else I was supposed to do.
I go back to get altered, the lady doesn't speak English well, and has no idea that my alterations are free. She starts trying to up-sell me. I finally break down, and tell them the dress has to be done by Saturday, or I want a refund. They agree, I come back on Saturday to try the dress on, and it is slightly too big around the bust. Another girl is complaining that, three tries later, her dress is still too small... so I take it how it is. We were able to secure the dress on me, and I believe it looked beautiful... but this experience was stressful and I do NOT recommend the David's Bridal Orlando...

Let me just start off by saying that I would recommend David's Bridal to other people. I was able to find a great wedding dress there as well as my maid of honor's dress. There were some things that could have been better, but for the value and ease it was pretty good.
First of all, I would suggest making an appointment for a dress fitting, because it could get very busy. Before you go to your dress fitting, you should also have a few gowns picked out that you want to try on. That would make the whole process go by much faster. I had a good experience at my dress fitting. The consultant that I had was very helpful recommended a few additional dresses based on the styles I was picking.
I did have one slight mishap with my dress. Since I was from out of town, I asked my sister to pick up my dress for me. She did not check the dress to make sure it was the right style and ended up taking the dress that did not have a train. When I found out about this, it was too late to contact David's Bridal, so I didn't even bother and eventually came to terms with the dress without a train. However, I was a little disappointed that the sales person ordered the wrong dress for me and would highly suggest that anyone thoroughly check their dress before taking it from the store.

Be careful if you go to this store. Three of my bridesmaids ordered their dresses from this location. All three dresses arrived two sizes too big. David's Bridal's answer?? Use OUR alterations team. HUmm. Makes you wonder how three dresses came in two sizes too big....and you want us to use your alterations team (by the way, they charge double of what everyone else charges). Wont recommend them at all!!!!

Alix was the girl who helped me and my family and she was excellent. She knows how to present the perfect dress for your body type. She also will pair you with the best dress for the venue where your special day will be held.

The staff at the Orlando, FL location were amazing. They walked me through the racks, asking what I liked and didnt like, assisted me with trying on the dresses and were so friendly throughout the process. The alterations department are very skilled, they really take their time to make the dress perfectly fitting to my shape. Thank You!

The Orlando store has some amazing employees working there! I worked with Cherri and it was the bridal experience I was dreaming of! They made my day amazing!

I have been to David's Bridal many times as a bridesmaid or with friends to help as they prepared for their weddings. The shop near my parent's house in Wheeling (St. Clairsville) was wonderful - clean, staff was great and the lady that helped with my fitting was wonderful.
I bought the dress there but did all my fittings in Orlando were the wedding was to take place - the first time I was in the shop, I was not overly impressed and was seriously concerned that I might not have a dress or that it would not be altered properly.
Thankfully I was wrong! My dress was beautiful and everything was perfect. My fitting was in August which is a busy wedding month and the store had some roof damage due to serious storms in the week before I came in - so clearly a busy place and maybe Orlando would benefit from another store!!
All in all, they did a fabulous job and I would go back again any time. I was only disappointed that I couldn't get the color sash I wanted in time since they didn't have the color I wanted online and being stationed in the military overseas, I couldn't just pop into the store to order it. Fortunately my mother-in-law is a goddess with the sewing maching and we bought our own fabric and...

You can't beat their prices. Although I was lucky to get a great representative to help me with the dress, my overall experience at David's Bridal was so-so. Not all of them were friendly and attentive. But again, you can't beat their prices and their selection.
GUEST

My consultant was Pati. She was amazing! She brought me a few dresses that I would have never picked out but I loved them! I found my dress on the 1st fitting! Thank you so much!
GUEST

I wasn't initially sold on David's Bridal but you cannot beat their prices and selection! I was in love with my dress!!!
GUEST

Went to the Orlando store to find my dress. I wouldn't go to anyone but Alex! She is amazing and very down to earth. She helped me with everything. Had some issues with alterations getting done correctly, each time it seemed to be a different person who did the bustle a different way. Got that fixed and everything else was great. Also got my bridesmaids dresses at Davids. Great deal and everyone look amazing!
GUEST

I was in love with my dress right when I saw it come out of the rack. The lady that helped me was amazing and so nice. I was very nervous and she eased my nerves.

I feel bad for the consultants who work at David's Bridal. They run around like chickens with their heads cut off. They don't have time to breathe, let alone get to spend one-on-one time with brides. Really, you are on your own most of the time. David's Bridal is PACKED most days. There are benefits to fighting the crowd, however. They have a pretty good selection of dresses for everyone from bridesmaids to bride to mother-of-the-bride. A benefit to purchasing there for me was the alterations department. The girls there were so kind and helpful, and I found the prices for alterations very reasonable.
GUEST

At first I was going to settle for a dress because I didn't want to pay so much for a dress I was going to wear one night. I purchased one dress and returned it no questions asked. Davids bridal helped me to look for my dress....a little more than I wanted to spend but still a great buy for the dress. The alterations were great. Made the dress fit me comfortably and beautifully. Alterations were cheap and I was p,eased with the outcome.

I went to the David's Bridal in Altamonte and they were horrible. I was told to try the one at Millenia. I was set up with Kyleigh. The first time we went we told her we were only looking. My bridesmaids were going to try on dresses and decide what they want. Kyleigh was so helpful and nice. The second trip I tried on and found my dress and my bridesmaids picked new dresses! We all purchased that day. Kyleigh let me browse which I loved and gave me my space. She helped even though the store was insane with customers! When we went to check out the staff at the desk wasnt as polite as Kyleigh. They were short tempered, slow, and rude. However, I can see why with some of the women that were in that store! I paid and found out Kyleigh wouldnt be there anymore :( and left. I got a call that my shoes were in, I went with FI to pick them up and apparently everything was in! I had to have him wait in the car and buy a garment bag. My shoes were awful! The dye job was horrible. My dress was gorgeous and a great price. I didnt get my dress altered there because I didnt like how the alterations lady spoke to me.
If I gave Kyleigh a score it would be a 5/5. However, Davids Bridal needs to work on how they have their workers talk to customers. Overall, the experience went ok thanks to Kyleigh.

I was very fortunate and had a very friendly, helpful, and fun sales person help me look for my dress. I ended up buying the lace gown with the keyhole back and I received so many compliments on it.

The Products that David's Bridal sells are BEAUTIFUL! I love my dress and wouldn't change it! But on the service side, they could learn a few things!! The day i was in to get my dress my "Consultant" showed me where to find dresses and she picked a few ugly dresses that were out of my price range! While i was in trying on the wrong dresses my brides maid went and pulled dresses for me (and found my dress)! She seemed to busy to help me when i needed something! I did actually buy my dress that day becaule i fell in love and it was on sale!
The same thing happened when i went to look at the brides maid dresses. there was no one to help us! Whee ordered seperates and when my MOH's dress came in it was the wrong top and they said she would have to pay to have it rush ordered! (she fought with a manager and had it shipped to her home FREE!!)
My Sister lived in a different state and had to order hers there. it was an ok shopping experiance, they were short handed with only one consultant helping 3-4 different brides! We ordered the dress in mid Feb they said it would be about a month. So when the first week of April came i called to ask about the dress and they said it was in, and they recieved it feb 27! One week after the order!they never called to say it was in, and never appoligized for the inconvenience!
If you could afford it i would reccomend staying away from Davids bridal! But they do have really great deals! that is the only reason i went there was for price!!!! and I wish i didnt!
GUEST

My dress and veil were beautiful. I am glad I went with Davids Bridal. Even when my zipper needed to be replaced three days before the wedding they fit me in and made me feel comfortable that it would be done on time.

I didn't get my dress at David's Bridal, but I did get my shoes, and cake topper there. I went on a Saturday (big mistake), but makes total sense. It was so busy, I couldn't move. But, I did end up over at the shoe department, and found my dream shoe right away! As I was making my way back to the front counter, I saw a beautiful cake topper right next to the counter...great place for it. A sales rep saw me looking at it and ran to the back to grab it, even though she was busy on the phone! Overall, I had a good experience there, just try to avoid Saturdays!

David's Bridal in Altamonte Springs, FL was great. They were very helpful! I recommend going during the day because at nights they get very busy! Make an appointment!

Everyone knows Davids bridal. My dress was amazing and with their expert help on which dress style fits the body's different shapes they helped me pick the best dress that put that wow into my wedding. My husband hates wedding dresses and mine he loved and I got that "You look amazing" out of him. The prices are so great and they always have specials so they can get you into that dream dress!

I was on holiday and just went to the store for a look and literly walked out with my dream dress. I picked my dress but my assistant Amanda encouraged me to try on more, I went with my original choice but was glad I tried on more.
The shop was not busy and I did not feel rushed at all, though if it was busy I would imagine it would be hard to feel special. The selection was brilliant and the costs amazing! Worth noting the assistance are sales people so encourage you to buy the extras, veil, shoes underwear and under skirt etc. I was unsure about a veil but was pushed to buy it, all sales are final and in the end I did not wear the veil so it was an expensive waste.
I also bought my bridesmaids dresses from this store they were an amazing price and looked brilliant.
I did not get my alterations done there but I did take the dresses to this department to be steamed. The customer service of the people I dealt with in this department needed work. The person I dealt with did not seem to know what they were doing and I was concerned about leaving my dress as she kept changing my pick up date. Also when I called to make sure that the dresses were ready I spoke to 2 different people as the first one did not speak English and the second could not understand my name despite spelling it a dozen times. In the end I got the dresses and they looked amazing, but I could have done without this last minute stress.

David's Bridal did a great job. I went in on a Saturday and had purchased my dress and veil in 2 hours. I went back there to choose shoes and they dyed them for me. The shoes were a bit pricey, but I loved that they had wide sizes to choose from. We had a bit of challenges with our bridesmaids dresses as they were discontinued while we were in the midst of ordering them, however the manager was VERY helpful and made sure everyone was able to get their dress that needed it. The complaint I had was they need to make a larger area for alterations. There were three places to get changed and one mirror. It was very cramped and felt a bit crazy back there.

I went to the David's Bridal in Orlando. I had printed out some dresses that I liked from the internet and Alex was my sales rep. She was very good and she was always there when I needed her even though she was taking care of a few other customers. I found the dress I wore at the wedding there and I loved it. I got my under garments, my dress, the alterations, my veil, my shoes, my sister MOH dress and all her accessories for around $2000. I love my dress so much and so did everyone else. I would recommend David;s Bridal to any bride.
GUEST

I got my wedding dress here and yes the dress was gorgeous, I got a ton of compliments on it, but the service at David's Bridal isn't all that great. There were a couple times I called and was put on hold or was told that they'd call me back but never did. I wasn't important as a customer spending about $800 on a dress (between alterations and dress cost). One time I called was about placing the order for my dress, they didn't have time to talk to me and I'm giving them money. I was lied to about how long it would be to get my dress in, one lady thought for whatever reason that 5 months wasn't long enough to order a dress and alter it. I had plenty of time. So, other than the dress, they could use some work on customer service.
GUEST

Great value for the cost.
GUEST

To be honest, the dresses are overpriced and the staff is not too helpful. When I told them I was in a budget, the treatment changed. The only good thing is that you can put the dresses on layaway.
GUEST

(Altamonte Springs) They are so wonderful. I felt like if I was the only woman there. My small group of girls were treated great also. My dress was of the rack and was only 300.00 with alteration a total of $425.00 I just couldn't believe it. I was so happy that my bridal party dresses were also purchased there.
GUEST

David's Bridal by Millenia Mall gave me great service, and the quality of the dress for the price I got was fantastic ($900 dress @ the $99 gown sale)! I was so happy, and I got SO many compliments on the dress. The only thing that I would change, is that they only have 2-3 days a week that you can go in for your fitting, or pick up your dress. It would be much easier for those of us who work full time if there were more days to get these tasks done.

I went into David's Bridal, tried on 5 dresses total but the SECOND one I put on was "the one". The lady helping me was so nice too. She brought out different jewelry, shoes, undergarments, headpieces and veils for me to try. I walked out of there with EVERYTHING- dress, all jewelry, tiara, veil, shoes, lingerie, for $1259.45. Way UNDER budget! Very happy bride =)
GUEST

My first experience was not the best! However, I went to a bridal show and ended up speaking with a manager; she invited me to come back and I am very glad that I did. I worked with Alex at the Millenium store and she was the best. She made me feel welcome from beginning to end and I cannot thank you enough for making my overall experience more positive. I ended up with the dress I picked out before I ever went to the store!!! Ladies in Alterations were wonderful as well! Thanks Ladies!!
GUEST

Looking for my dress was great. The experience was wonderful and the help I got was more than I expected. They didnt stop working with me until my dress was perfect and every detail was done. I love love love my dress.
GUEST

My dress was marked down during a major sale and I felt great about getting a great deal. However, the alterations were over $200.00 so all brides may consider taking their dresses locally prior to settling with alterations at this location since it can be pricey. Also, I know they took off alot of length and I asked them to save my leftover to find, i got about an inch of lace only. Finally, I had called 3 times a week prior to my final fitting and got approval to come in 1.5 hours earlier for my fitting, only to find out once I got there that that particular person did not communicate my time change, so...we had to wait the time of 1.5 hours anyhow!!!
GUEST

I had a great experience at David's Bridal. They treated me like I was the only girl in the room. Fast service, great service!
GUEST

found a great dress for a greater price. Very happy with David's Bridal!
GUEST

I felt that I didn't get a lot of attention and help from the associate whom had many brides to help. My 5 yr old daughter ended up helping me zip up my dresses since I had no one else to help. The prices and selection were good though.
GUEST

Experience was okay. Even though I loved the dress I got, the experience of trying on the dresses and the excitement and everything wasn't what I thought it would be. I felt pressure from the staff just to make a decision on whatever. If I had it to do over again, I would not have made the decision so quickly and would have savored the journey.
GUEST

I got my dress and my bridesmaid's dresses here. The staff was super nice and very helpful. My dress was exactly what I wanted and very affordable, especially during the dress sale I went to. I had a great experience with David's bridal, the only thing I could complain about would be the prices of accessories. I bought the veil I wanted, brand new on ebay for 12 dollars- they wanted 80. The same went with the bra, crinoline, shoes, and jewelry. My suggestion would be check their dresses out during the $99 dress sale (you might find a great deal), get the alterations done there (another great experience at DB, they were friendly, prompt and flexible.), but don't get any accessories there. You'll save money and find something more original.

I bought my dress and bridesmaid dresses from David's bridal. I have no complaints, I am very happy with the outcome. The staff is very helpful. I also did my alterations there and in the end everything turned out amazing.
GUEST

The dress I got was beautful! The lady name Karen was wonderful! She helped me 2 different times. She helped me pick the pefect dress! Most of the workers there treated me nice and was profesional. The 1st time I made an appointment they made it then when I got there they said the lady wasn't working that day. They tired to get me to take someone eles. I had them make another appointment for the women I wanted. They wasn't very happy with that. In the end I got the dress I wanted. Flexibable ? No returns at all!
GUEST

Got a beautiful dress for a great price. It was so easy having all of my bridesmaids get their dresses from there too!
GUEST

Although everything ended up working out great I did have a few issues but nothing to extreme. I did have to call them a couple times to make sure the kept my appts as needed, they did give me the wrong time a few times, they informed incorrectly on what they had in the styles and colors I needed, and they didnt inform me when dresses arrived. BUT all my girls looked great, I LOVE my dress and loved being in it and it all worked out in the end.
GUEST

I got my dress as well as my bridesmaids dresses here. The dresses themselves were very reasonably priced, but everything else was pretty expensive. My alterations cost almost as much as the dress and the slip, bra, shoes, tiaras were all pretty expensive. The dresses looked great though. We really liked that they had so many different dresses to try on and all my bridemaids were able to try on the dress we went with before they purchased it. Also, the salesperson was very helfpul and listened to what I was liking about the dresses I tried on and what I didn't like. She actually found the dress I eventually purchased, as in I didn't find it and ask to try it out. She was very helpful. I highly recommend looking at dresses here, but possibly get your dress altered somewhere else.
GUEST

My bridal gown and bridesmaids' dresses came from David's Bridal and we had nothing but great service everytime we went in. For all three of my appointments, I had Jackie as a consultant and she was very nice and helpful. She pulled all the dresses that I had pointed out to her in the catalog and there were a lot of them! She also kept track of the dresses that I liked the best as I tried them on. I was really happy with the dress I chose; it wasn't terribly expensive and it photographed beautifully. Also, everything we ordered (my dress, veil, headpiece, and my bridesmaid dresses) came in much quicker than the date they gave us. Since it is David's Bridal, you have to be prepared for it to be really busy sometimes, especially if you go in on the weekend. It can be crazy in there, but the staff will definitely make sure you get good service.
GUEST

Although the Milennia Mall David's Bridal was glorious the one my bridesmaid used out of state was horrible. They ordered her the wrong color, got her name wrong, and even had a different wedding. The only thing they got right was her phone number. Of course I found this out a week before the wedding and had to try and fix it here. They were very helpful but unfortunately there was no way to rush deliver the dress I needed since my bridesmaid is 6ft. So I had to buy her a short dress while the others wore their long dresses. The flow was off but it didnt ruin the day. The girls at the milennia mall saved my wedding from disaster!!!
GUEST

The DAvids Bridal in Altamonte was sooo helpful in picking out my Oleg Cassini dress. Although I hear alot of complaints about them, I had no problems with them whatsoever. I did tend to avoid the rush hour of girls trying on wedding dresses. They had alot of selection and really good prices. To be hones I'm surprised I bought my dress from there, but I LOVED IT!!!
GUEST

Got my dress through David's and it was a wonderful experience. Gorgeous dress that everyone complimented me on. The cost of tailoring was pricey, but I just used a local woman and it worked out perfect. Absolutely try David's before spending ridiculous money on another dress. I wouldn't have found anything better for more anywhere else. Use them!!

I bought my wedding dress at Davids and I absolutely love it. It is so beautiful and my husband loved it too. The alterations were done perfectly and my dress fit me exactly. I would highly recommend Davids Bridal for any bride looking for her dress. They have so many beautiful dresses to choose from and they are all at affordable prices. They also have a sale running most of the time where you can save up to $300 off the retail price of the dress. The staff are very friendly and helpful (I went to the Altamonte Springs location). I would recommend going on a weekday if possible to avoid waiting for dressing rooms and dresses and to have a more enjoyable shopping experience.
We also bought our bridemaids dresses at Davids. They have many dress styles to choose from and they all come in many different colors to match any color scheme. The bridesmaids dresses were beautiful. The only problem we had was with the dyeable shoes that they all bought and had dyed at Davids. The dresses were "truffle" which is a chocolate brown and the girls' shoes looked more purple than brown. They also got wet when we were taking photos since it had rained earlier and the color ran and died their toes purple (and the shoes looked completely purple and not brown at all). It wasnt a huge deal since the dresses were floor length, but it is something to keep in mind.
Overall, I am very pleased with the dresses and accessories we purchased at Davids Bridal.

My gown and bridesmaids gowns all came from Davids Bridal. The ladies at the store were very helpful! They made sure all of my girls felt comfortable in their dresses. We walked in the store not knowing what we were looking for and in only a couple of hours we had decided on colors and dresses! Such a great experience.

My initial visit to David's was great. I had a brand new associate (it was her first day) and she did a fantastic job helping me find my dress. The second time I went into David's was to pick up my dress & it was all I could do to get someone to wait on me to get my dress for me. Once I finally got my dress from the back, I couldn't find anyone to help me into it, zip me up, etc. I finally walked into the alterations room & asked someone to help me. The alterations lady was really nice & I didn't need any alterations done to my dress, just the bustling.
GUEST

Loved my dress, closest location was 1hr and 1/2 away :(

They had great selections but the staff was pretty rude. The alterations department rocked, they were good.
GUEST

I bought my wedding dress from David's Bridal. We also got the bridesmaids' dresses and the flower girl's dress from them. We usually had good service. However, there were times it was like pulling teeth to get someone to help us. I attempted to use the alterations department, but they were so rude and unprofessional (they refused to let me speak with the manager, telling me that she was out of the store when they JUST asked her a question not 2 minutes before) I decided to go elsewhere. Out of the 7 dresses we bought we only had a problem with one. There were little silver and rhinestone brooch-like things sewn on to the dress and one of them fell off during the ceremony.
GUEST

David's Bridal had many dresses to choise from and a range of styles and cost. I would reccomend THIS Orlando David's Bridal. We ordered the Bride's Maid dresses from "Altamonte David's Bridal" and that was a Bride's nightmair! The promissed deliver date was moved 4 times! And managment did not seem to care! We did not get them till two weeks before the wedding! And I will tell EVERYONE to stay clear of Altamonte David's Bridal! To them you are just another bride.
GUEST

My shoes, bridesmaids attire and accessories all came from David's Bridal. I found that the assistants were extremely helpful in getting my girls changed, fitted, and in the checkout line as efficiently as possible. They were very busy everytime I went in (Milennia), but they were extremely courteous and good to work with.
GUEST

They were great. I was able to find the dress I wanted.
GUEST

I was very happy with my sales lady, but once I bought the dress....all customer service went out the window. I was told the dress would be bustled....I was later told they charge to do that. I was also told they would press the dress at no charge.....I was later told there was a month wait on pressing dresses and it was for a fee. My maid of honor had the worst experience with her dress. The day of the wedding her zipper broke while she was putting her dress on. We couldn't even sew her in it. When she went back to the store to try and get her money back for a dress she didn't even wear.....they refused to refund any of her money or even fix the dress. My advice, spend a little more and don't buy your dress there.
GUEST

My dress was ordered in the wrong size. I was continually given inaccurate information concerning exchanges/refunds, and issues concerning my wedding dress. I loved my dress, but look around first.
GUEST

The quality of service is poor. They are always shorthanded. However, I loved my dress and it was cheaper than any other place.

My Bridal Party purchased their dresses from the David's Bridal at the Millenia Mall. Well, they actually went in to see the dresses in person, but they did not have the color that I wanted, so they ordered them from wherever for my girls. Not even a week later, they received their dresses! They looked so incredibly beautiful in their dresses. The store also allowed them to use a coupon that my Mom had found online for them, which saved them each $20! We had such a great and fun experience at David's Bridal!
GUEST

Hmm, what can I say about David's Bridal? The sales people were not helpful - my MOH found my dress for me and the sales person convinced us to buy a "regular" even though I'm "short" and said it would only be about $20 to alter it. NOT SO! When the alterations department got ahold of the dress, they told us it would be hundreds of dollars. We were upset and felt duped, but the manager was more than helpful. She ordered us another dress, in a size "short," and didn't charge us a thing.
I was also told that going in for a fitting 6 months before my wedding was "cutting it close" and was pressured into making a decision. However, my dress arrived in a few days - both times. I don't like the pressure there and the salespeople aren't the best, but the prices are great and the management was helpful. The alterations department was very rude.

I wanted my Bridal Party to select their own dresses, but they had to match my colors and meet my approval! The dresses they had at David's Bridal was where they selected theirs! Each one of them was glad that they got to select their own style that way they could use it again later on.

I came into David's Bridal to shop for a bridesmaids dress for a friends wedding. I wasn't quite ready to get a wedding dress as my wedding was 8 months away. I was convinced by my daughter to try some on while I was there and after a few I wasn't quite sure. I kept walking by a dress that was catching my eye but it was a discontinued style that was a final sale. The sales lady talked me in to trying it on anyway even though it was a size to small. I tried it on and to my amazement it fit like a glove. The embroidery work and beading on it matched my flowers and wedding design to a tee. Not only had I found the dress, but I found a great bargain...it was a $1,200 dress discontinued for $349.00. I went back to alterations and found out that what I wanted to change could be done. I came back for my fitting a month before my wedding to have the alterations done which consisted of changing the zipper backing to a corset, taking off some of the length, and having a french accordion bustle put in. When I came back for my final fitting, I cried. They had done an amazing job. Not only were the sales ladies professional and on top of things, the alterations department was amazing. They helped find the perfect shoes and accessories to complete my look. I couldn't have been happier when I walked down the isle on my wedding day...I not only felt beautiful, I looked it too! Thanks to everyone at David's Bridal for being apart of making my wedding day unforgettable! ~ K. Crisp

LOVED MY DRESS!!!! went into the store and the lady that helped me really knew what she was talking about. I was out of there with a dress, veil, tiara and shoes in 1 hr. It's definitely a one-stop shop. Great service and products.

I tried on like 15 dresses and after 5 hours I finally found the one. The dress fits my style perfectly and I couldn't wait to show it off to everyone! I felt like such a beautiful princess!

I got my dress from Davids Bridal. I was a fat bride, so I didn't have a lot of choices. AND, I didn't want to spend a lot of money.
The dress I got was $449 in the catalog. There was a sale that I was fooled into thinking ended, but I think there is always a sale. So, I was told that I had to get the dress right away for the sale and it would take up to 3 months to come in. So, I saw the price at $399 online, and I guessed that was the sale price. Nope. The sale price actually brought the price down to $349, so that made me happy.
The service wasn't great. I didn't have anybody dress-shopping with me. I was snootily asked if I had an appointment. Uh, no. I heard an ad on the radio that told me to come in. It seemed like a bother for them to "assign" me a person to help me. (Why can't I just help myself?) Anyway, even though the "greeter" saw that I was by myself, she assigned a male to help me. I did not feel comfortable with this because the sales person/consultant has to see you in your skivvies and maybe even less. So, I asked for a female. Again, this seemed like a bother to them.
I was assigned to an older lady. I asked for a dress with no train or underskirt because of a hot air balloon wedding. She brought me a bunch of dresses with both of those. Grrr. She said I should at least try them out. Okay, fine. I found the dress I wanted. My consultant got me a tiara and veil to try on. They looked really nice and matched the dress. The price for both of them was outrageous, though. They actually cost more than the dress by several hundred dollars! So, I did not purchase those.
Here is the annoying part. She kept pulling the veil over my arms. Yes, my arms are fat. That makes sense because my whole body is fat. Pulling the veil over my fat arms is annoying, and, truly, not going to fool anybody. Who is going to say, "Wow, a fat bride, but her arms look so slender hidden away underneath that veil"? Anyway, I told her to stop - I have fat arms, I don't care.
So, I ordered the dress in January or February for my October wedding. I got "tsk, tsked" a couple of times because apparently it is some sort of insanity to wait until 10 months before your wedding to order the dress. They kept telling me that they hoped it would come in in enough time. Yeah, the dress came in after about 10 days, then sat in my closet for 8 months until I took it to get fitted. Ridiculous!
I guess you get what you pay for. The dress was beautiful, though.

I really only went to one bridal shop and tried on dresses, finding the one I picked out before hand online to be the one I loved. So, I can't speak for the quality of service from the standpoint of someone who went in and had an associate help find the right gown. I can however say that the women who helped me were very nice, professional, and helpful. I did only have the time to go on the weekends as I live 2 hours away, so they were quite busy each time I went in. I was seen promptly though both times. I love my wedding dress, it was simple, elegant, and best of all affordable. I also went through DB for alterations (even if I could have gotten them done for less $$ elsewhere) because I felt confident that they knew their dress styles and how to alter them. They were done very well, and the bustle put on the gown was also gorgeous and couldn't be seen when the train was down (one of my concerns).
All in all I would recommend DB near the mall at millenia to any bride looking for an affordable gown, just do your homework before you go and make sure you are prepared for a busy store if you go on a weekend!

I went for the $99 sale. I got exactly what I was looking for. The place was crazy, so service was at a minimum, but the price was worth it.
GUEST

You aren't able to return anything. But everyone was very helpful. It takes AGES to check out at the register, even if it's something small. Grrr.
GUEST

Loved the dress but, the service could always be better. Hard to find help when you needed just to get shoes. Be careful about the Sales they have, not exactly what you think. It's great that your bridal party can match no matter where they live.
GUEST

David's staff was very helpful. They even reordered my dress when it came in wrong. All of my bridesmaids also got their dresses their and got a great deal on them.

I waited a bit too long before starting to shop for a dress. I had gained weight since I left college, almost four years ago now, and was trying to get back into my original dress size. Four months before the wedding, my mother found out that I didn't have a dress and almost killed me. With all my attention to planning, I didn't really pay attention to the amount of time that it would take to have a dress ordered and altered. I didn't know that dresses come from China, I really thought that the dresses in the store was what you took home with you. So we went to a few places, looked at dresses and found out how long it would take for the dress to be ready. In most cases, 6-8 weeks was the minimum. At David's Bridal, I showed the salesperson (Sharron) pictures of the dress that I wanted, and she was able to bring me dresses that looked like the dress I wanted but wouldn't need as much time to alter. The store wasn't as pretty or as cute as the other stores that I had been in, but I felt that my salesperson and the people who worked there knew so much more about the wedding dress ordering process. She wanted me to look beautiful, but she also wanted me to have a dress on the day I would get married. I found a dress that I loved, which was actually a bridesmaid dress, and everything was ready in time. Sharron underpromised and overdelivered, I was soo happy with my experience there.
Alterations: They took care of all the alterations and hemming in the time they promised.

I found my dress finally after trying on sooo many. It was the last one that I tried on all night. The sales associate was so nice. She helped me with every dress. She helped me find shoes. She also made sure that the alterations could be made in just a few days.

i bought my wedding dress for about 160 and it wasnt too fancy since i was going to change into a different outfit. there were some mix ups up customer service got on it right away.

My beautiful dress came from David's Bridal. I originally wasn't going to wear the typical wedding gown and just purchase a really nice dress from like JC Penny or Nordstrom, but my dress was a birthday gift from my husband, best friend and our parents. I had so much fun at David's Bridal! My consultant was such a doll! She was so friendly, always had a smile on her face, and brought me so many beautiful dresses to chose from. She was also so very honest with me, which I really appreciated. I never once felt rushed or pressured from her. They have so many beautiful dresses there, so definitely stop in to see if they have your dress!

My wife is very simple and laid-back to the point where she didn't feel like she wanted a real wedding gown to wear. I think that was in part because our budget got cut in half. I really wanted her to be happy with everything, so as a birthday gift from all of us, we pooled our monies together (myself, her maid of honor, our parents) and had her select the gown that she wanted from David's Bridal. This was very easy to do as I had called ahead to the store at the Mall at Millenia, explained what was going on and they scheduled an appointment for her. They only pulled dresses that she wanted within the "budget" we had, and she was so surprised and very touched by what we had done. She wanted me to stay there with her, but I firmly said no as I wanted to be completely taken-aback when I saw my bride walking down the aisle. She said that she receive superior service from the gals at David's Bridal, and I am very happy that they took great care of her!

The girls at David's Bridal were absolutely amazing. They were patient, thoughtful, honest and just awesome! I found the dress of my dreams from them!
GUEST

I would NEVER use them again or recommend to anyone. They were so rude and unhelpful, every time I called to talk to someone I waited on the phone for so long and I never felt like I was as important to them as other customers.
GUEST

I was lucky to find my dress at Davids Bridal during the $99 dollar sale. I got my dress at a good price and was pleased. I also purchased my wedding veil from them. They are always busy and service is just okay.
GUEST

I absolutely loved my dress, but the shop was average. I did have good consultants each time I went, though they had so many girls to look after that we often had to wait on them to come back around before asking for different items/help. My bridesmaids dresses were also purchased through DB. One of them didn't come in until a month before the wedding (we ordered them many, many months before the date), which seemed ridiculous to me. Another had her dress shipped to the wrong store and had to drive miles out of her way to go pick it up. We decided to not go with DB for alterations either, simply because they were outrageously priced. Overall, I'd say purchase and then move on.

I did not enjoy working with them since each time it was a different seemstress and I had to expalin each time again what I wanted and then get a different result. For some reason they could not understand how I wanted to fit the dress on me and I was made to go there for more than I planned to...

Davids Bridal made me feel like a princess and helped me find a dress I never would have taken off the shelf myself. It is all around worth it to go there.

It was kind of a crazy shopping experience. I was going to David's Bridal with my bridesmaids to look at dresses for a second time. I had gone once before with my mom, and set up a second consultation so that I could go in with my bridesmaids. I think it was a really hectic environment for me and the bridesmaids; they try their best to make the shopping experience fun, but I was feeling rushed and pressured. Luckily, one of my bridesmaids was rather loudspoken and found the sale rack right away. She then started asking about what dresses were on sale, and we were handed dresses from the year before at a fraction of the price! It was a rather amazing find, and I don't think we would have gotten it if she hadn't ask. David's Bridal does a good job of advertising sales, but there are a few dresses that maybe no one knows of in the back. So, it was great, I am so lucky to have loud and pushy bridesmaids that get what they want!
Alterations: We brought the dresses to each place where they were bought. There were no problems with the alterations. We have heard stories of brides bringing their dresses to outside seamstresses for less, but those are horror stories! We wanted people who knew what they were doing!

I always thought that I was going to use my grandmother's beautiful and vintage wedding dress as that's my style, and I absolutely loved her dress! Then on my birthday, my grandmother surprises me by taking me to David's Bridal at the Millenia Mall, and tells me to choose my wedding dress (within her budget limit, of course!) I stood outside of the store with her arguing for like 20 minutes, but she wouldn't budge! She finally grabbed my arm and yanked me inside, where I was met by my consultant as my grandmother had scheduled an appointment for me. My consultant was such a sweetheart (and I am so sorry that I can't remember her name!) She listened to exactly what I was looking for within the budget amount, and she brought me like 8 different dresses. I tried all 8 on, and even though there were 2 that I liked, I didn't love any of them (I still really wanted to wear my grandmother's dress). When my consultant knew I didn't like any of the 8, she brought out another dress, but told me that it was almost $450 over my budget. So I took one look at it and told her NOT to put it back! It was BEAUTIFUL on the hanger, and once I got it on me, I forgot about my grandmother's dress! I stood there in front of the mirror with my grandmother crying in the corner! We both knew it was the dress, and even though it was a little over my grandmother's budget, she bought me my dream gown! I heard so many horror stories about David's Bridal, but I have to tell you that I loved my experience there!

The dress was absolutely beautiful!!! She made me cry the first time I saw her.

I had a horrible experience. I made an appointment and once I got there, the sales lady didn't know I was coming and had nothing ready. When I filled out the information again we searched for dresses that she was choosing that were not my size. She acted very distant and was never around when I needed help. I would never go there again.

David's Bridal has a huge variety of beautiful dresses but many of them are over $1000! I bought a Lavender dress for my wedding for over $1400! I think that it was really overpriced since a week later I saw many other dress at an online store for less than $1000. Besides the price, David's was very easy to contact and I received my dress two weeks before the wedding. Very professional.
GUEST

They have beautiful gowns at amazing prices. My rep was wonderful. I bought my dress very early, and I was told to come in six weeks before the wedding for alterations. When I tried my dress on in the shop I was comfortable, but was told it was too loose and he would order it the next size down. The dress he ordered never fit me. I went in 6 weeks before the wedding as I was told, and explained everything, and they were telling me I would have to pick a new dress from the shop because they didn't carry that style anymore and it was too late to order one. They did eventually find one the next size up and gave that to me, but chared me the alterations fees to take it in the neccessary amount. The hem and bustle was pricey. Some 16 year old boy was in the dressing area peeking through my curtain as well and I had to ask him to leave because no one else would. They ordered my bra and slip in the wrong size and then told me just to not wear them, so I tried to return them for credit toward the alterations I was told it was against their policy. They did eventually give me the correct size and I ebayed them. Overall I was happy with my dress but very dissapointed with the service.
GUEST

David's offered a wide selections of dresses that accomodated my entire party. The service person that worked with me was wonderful. She was accomodating everytime I came in to try on dresses, and all the way through the alteration process.

Great selection and prices for bridesmaids dresses. However, you will not receive much personalized attention due to the volume of brides/bridesmaids in the store.

davids bridal at millenia mall offers a great selection and the representatives are very helpful. i got the dress of my dreams for $550!

i absolutely hate david's bridal. it was a nightmare from day 1. other than walking away with a great dress it was a stressful event.
i had a sash on my dress and i wanted it bustled. i was very clear i didn't want it in a bow. every way they did it was a bow. i paid 250 just for the sash to be bustled and it was a bow, they took out all of the hooks they put in and we decided just to pull it up but the 250 was never refunded. the alterations department was not nice to me and they spoke spanish to each other about me. i was upset and that threw me over the edge.
if you know what you want it won't be bad. but there are other smaller shops that i wish i went to,

I went into the store needing to try on a bridesmaid's dress. Although there was an attended reception desk just inside the door it was several minutes before I was helped. I was then shuffled to the side while an attendant was called. I waited several more minutes for her to find a dress. She found one in a different color than I was looking for and not the right sizes. I tried them on and did not find one that fit me well, but guessed at my size. Also the store was unwilling to work with me on shipping the dress to another store for pickup (I was in the middle of a move). All in all, a disappointing customer experience.

I bought my wedding dress and jewelry from this vendor. I went to the altamonte location in Orlando after hearing bad review of the location at Mall at Millenia. I went on a tuesday night during "wedding season" and it was not that busy. Evette was my consultant and she provided excellent service. I bought my dress that night. I even recommended her to my Maid of Honor's sister who was recently engaged.
My only complaint is their return policy on everything. You can't return any of their accessories, no matter what.
GUEST

David's Bridal is a very popular wedding vendor for their affordable wedding gowns. However, I do not think their bridesmaid dresses are affordable at all, especially when most bridesmaids will not wear their dresses again. Their jewelry, shoes, tiaras, bras, and veils cost a fortune! I decided to look elsewhere online and found beautiful, quality accessories for less than half, sometimes even less than a third, of what David's Bridal charged.
At one time I was told while I was at David's Bridal, to leave my veil with my dress while it was being altered. When I returned, my veil was not with my dress and they accused me of taking it with me and just wanting a new one free. After much hassle and stress, they finally gave me my veil without undue additional charges. Another problem I had with David's Bridal is that I went 2 weeks before my wedding for final alterations, supposed to be done by the week before my wedding. I stood at least an hour while my dress was pinned, which I did not mind because I wanted the job to be done right. My complaint is that when I went to pick up the dress a week later, it was as though they had hemmed the dress but took all the pins out of the bust and did NOTHING to it! It was a strapless gown so it was very important that this be altered to fit. I had to stand for another 30 minutes for the bust to be pinned again, and because I lived over an hour away and could not return, had to wait over an hour for my dress to be altered. They still did a bad job but we had already stayed past closing time, and still had an hour to drive home. On wedding day my dress would barely stay up. I know it would have if it was altered properly.
My advice- SHOP AROUND! The staff at Orlando David's Bridal were rude, unprofessional, overpriced, and although I could never be unhappy on my wedding day- I really get upset every time I look back at the pictures and see how loose my dress was.
GUEST

From the moment we walked in, they were wonderful! I had several dresses picked out for both myself and my bridesmaids and they were so gracious, courteous, and helpful! Once we picked the dresses out they helped with the alterations. The lady that helped us the first time, helped us the second, and third time we went back. It was so personal! When it came to my flower girls' dresses, my nieces lived in New York and us in Florida. We were able to pick out the dresses down here and have them go to their David's Bridal and try the dresses on up there. It was perfect and wonderful!
GUEST

The day I went to try on dresses, there were about 10 unsupervised kids running around the store. One of whom had a sucker in his mouth (and all over his hands and face) and grabbed the skirt of the dress I was trying on. My sales consultant did a great job of keeping his cool, but I felt like I was in a day care.

One of our family friends works at David's Bridal at Millenia, so I of course visited there first... I didn't have to visit any other bridal store! Their service is great, and they have a great many selection of dresses to choose from. I had my beautiful princess dress altered there as well. They did a great job taking working on my dress (I'm like super tall and skinny). Their prices overall is great too!
GUEST

I was really dissapointed that such a big name in weddings provided such poor service. I had all my bridesmaids get their dresses at DB and each of them came back with something that went wrong. bad service, rude employees, and they even lost my sisters shoes, among many other things. Their reviews were so bad that I didn't even get my wedding dress here! I would not reccommend DB to any of my friends.
GUEST

My wedding dress was custom-made by a seamstress, but the bridesmaid and flower girl dresses were ordered from David's Bridal in Altamonte Springs, FL. We liked the rainbow of colors offered for each style and the myriad of styles available for reasonable prices. Since all of the bridesmaids were still in college, we appreciated the reasonable prices on the gowns. We chose an eggplant color in a style that was complimentary to all the shapes and sizes in the wedding. All of the dresses came in on time and fit with no alterations except hemming on a couple, even on the little flower girl! The only things we did not like was that is was far away from Daytona where we live and we had different sales girls every time we went.
GUEST

I really had a good experience with David's for the most part. I had a nice man help me find the perfect veil and tierra to go with my dress and I don't think i could have found a dress that i loved more. I also got my dress and accessories on sale. My only complaint was the cost of the bussel and hem.
GUEST

I ordered my dress in march of '06 for my march of '07 wedding... I didn't get the dress until 3 weeks before my actual wedding!!!!!! Everytime I called about the dress they were rude. I was treated like an inconvience because they messed something up! By the time I got the dress it was the wrong size and when asked how long it would take to tailor it I was told 4 to 6 weeks (given I was getting married in 3 weeks). They then told me I could look around at other stores to try to get it tailored faster! I also got the bridesmaid dresses there ( I don't know why) and had to turn around and go back to get something replaced because it wasn't sewed on!!! I don't reccomend this place ever again!!!!! Oh yeah and when asked to speek to a manager you get the run around that the manager isn't allowed to talk on the phone or they are busy and when you say I'll hold they tell you you arn't allowed to do that and hang up on you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GUEST

Just ok...i recommend not going during the weekend because of very little individualized attention.

Really great selection and prices (I even got mine on sale). There were two slip ups but things were fixed. One: The dress come in the wrong color when we ordered it the first time, they reordered the dress and it came in really fast. Two: I went back to pick up my dress from getting altered there and at first they couldn't find it, then when they did find it, it was the wrong dress. The dress that had my name on it was from a girl who was there the same time I was there getting altered. They foudn my dress with her name on it, but it hadn't been altered yet (this is already after a month for the first alteration). They got it done within a week. So they may have slip up but they fixed it.

I worked with 2 davids bridel locations, one in MD and one in FL. This location was much better then the one in MD.
