I bought my gown and bridesmaids dresses at Davids Bridal. They were always nice and helpful. I had no problems with them.

I love my dress, and my bridesmaids loved their dresses. The women who helped us were super patient when I was flipfloping between two dresses! They were all very nice and professional. The only thing I have to say that really bothers me is that they sell you dresses that need alterations, but when I went for my alterations fitting and they told me the price, the alterations actually cost MORE than the dress did. Needless to say I was able to find someone else to do them at a much more resonable price, and my dress fit perfectly! But I absolutely loved trying on all the dresses and they were all veyr nice the whole time! Overall great experience.

I had an overall great experience with David's Bridal. My Mom had come into town about a year before my wedding date and we went dress shopping. We had made an appointment at David's and all the ladies there were very responsive and helpful. My bridesmaids gowns were also from David's and after each bridesmaid order/picked-up their gown, David's would call to let me know! The only negative: I bought my dress a year in advance and when it was time to take my dress in for alterations, almost 6th months later, I had lost some weight. My alterations were over half the cost of my dress making the total cost of my dress way more than I wanted to spend! I don't think this could have been avoided unless I would have waited before actually purchasing the gown.

I really did love my dress and was glad I found it at David's Bridals. I had other brides suggest places, but when I asked how much their dress cost- 3 grand or so- no thank you! I know it is an important day, but I can't see spending that much on a dress unless you just have so much money you don't know what to do with it. I went to the one off of 183 by Wholefoods. The staff was very helpful. I think I got a little carried away on the day I bought my dress with buying the bra and the bustle and the veil and the tiara and the shoes....then later realizing I probably could have found all those things for a lot less, and there is no return policy. I also did not like the look of their alterations department. There are hundreds of gowns back there- and they need weeks to do alterations. I ended up going to a local lady recommended by a friend- and had my dress back in a week and it was super cheap. She does it out of her home and I felt like my dress was in good hands, not lost in the stack. (Clothing Alterations- Betty Quinell)Overall David's Bridal has a lot of choices for reasonable prices.

Wonderful dress but the lady I had helping me was very pushy and really did not listen to what I wanted. She pushed off a dress on me that I really did not like. Their website for the bride and groom is wonderful.

We decided to order our dresses from David's Bridal. The plus to ordering from this store is that they have a great variety of colors, styles and sizes and are also less expensive than most bridesmaid dress shops. They took down all of our bridesmaids names, sizes, and contact information and did all of the work for us! They called them in to try on dresses, and made sure that they would be ordered in time for our special day. Even though two of our 8 bridesmaids were out of town, they made sure to get in touch with the girl's local store and schedule their appointments to get fitted. It saved us lots of time and kept my fiancee from the added stress of having keep in contact with everyone and make sure that they were all on track for ordering the dresses. The only downfall to shopping here is that it tends to be very crowded. Granted, we were always there on a Saturday. We were still helped in a timely manner, even when the store was crowded though and they always seemed to have enough staff on hand to accommodate the crowd.

I feel in love with my dress as soon as the consultant brought it to me. I always hear bad comments about David's Bridal but I had great service.

I went to the location across from North Star Mall. The service there really depends on who assists you. The first time I went in to find my dress, it was an amazing experience. I was so happy, because I found my dress, veil, shoes, and jewelry all in that one day. However, everytime I had been back since it was not such a happy experience. I went there with 3 of my bridesmaids on 3 different occassions and they did not help us because they were so busy, so I pretty much helped my girls. When I went again with my mom to find her a dress, it was just average service. There were some other minor details I wasn't so happy with, but overall I was satisfied only because I found my perfect dress and on the day I picked it out I had someone very helpful and kind assisting me. There were quite a few times I had to ask the manager some of my important questions, and don't be affraid to do so too! If you find your perfect dress here, then I think it's worth all the other stuff.

I loved my wedding dress, and they did a wonderful job altering it. I am really small and they basically took a dress and remade it to fit me. I am happy with their work.

I have to say they helped me a lot b/c I made an appt with a sure decision of what I was wanting. But I wasn't liking anything and so they just started bringing me dress that they thought I would like and that is how I found the perfect one. My husband love it and said I look amazing and all of the little girls in the family thought I was a princess!!!

I went to the Davids Bridal on San Pedro. I was not happy with the ladies in the alterations department. They made my dress an inch too short and then they tried to tell me I was wearing different shoes then when I came in for alterations. They made me feel like it was my fault that my dress was to short and then they told me it could not be fixed. I finally got to speak to the manager and he talked to the head seamstress and she told me she could fix it. Three months and a week later my dress was fixed. One week before I had to take it Illinois where my wedding would be. Talk about cutting it close.

We got a flower girl dress here. Our first attempt with a David's Bridal in South Austin resulted in a wedding consultant who was too busy talking to her friends about drinking the night before to help us. She clearly hated her job. :) We went back another day to a store in North Austin and got a better consultant. The dresses were all pretty typical but reasonably priced. It was fine for a flower girl dress. It came quickly and lasted through two weddings (mine and my cousin's)!:)

David's was great. My roommate and my sister were my attendants. My sister lives in Seattle. So one weekend when mom was out in Seattle to visit, my mom and sister with to the Seattle Davids, and my roommate went to the one here in San Antonio. Since they are located in so many locations, it was easy to try on dresses together via cell phones. Mom and I were on the phone with the bridesmaids magazine and marking the dresses that looked good on the girls. We finally agree on a beautiful dress that was a similar style to mine. It was a fun afternoon and felt like we were together even though we were so far apart.

My dress and most of the bridal parties dressescam from David's Bridal. All of the dresses were beautiful. I was able to customize my dresses trim. The seamstress did a wonderful job at altering the dress at my final fitting. I was very happy with this company.

HORRIBLE, I can't say enough bad things about them. I dealt with 3 locations for my wedding and although San Antonio was BY FAR the worst, none of them were great.I only wanted to order a dress and I had to call back 5 times to do so. The girl answering the phone was incredibly ignorant and unprofessional. My 12 year old niece could do the job better.

They were very nice when we went there. It just took forever to get the dress altered. They did a good job.

If you are working on a low to moderate budget it is great. They have a large selection of colors, designs, and sizes. On the other hand, you get the service you pay for. It was almost always packed when I went in....there were kids running around and I even saw men a couple of times in the fitting area. My bridesmaids had there shoes died there and that was a disaster. One of my bridesmaids went to pick up her shoes that were supposed to have been ready 2 days earlier and they went to the back to get them and the lady handed them to her still wet with dye. When she picked up the shoe the dye was all over her hands and the color didnt match. She had to have them re-done and luckily they were finished just in time. They are horrible if you want o return something. I had bought a sample sash for color comparison and went to return it never used just one day after their 90 day policy and they didnt even make an effort to help me. All I wanted was store credit and they would not work with me at all. Overall, I think they were ok, but if you are looking for the one on one time and in my opinion better service I would recommend Alfred Angelo.

The dress was beautiful and perfect. I actually got it the same day I went in for fitting. It was then steamed and pressed and ready to go. I loved it. Although, a lot of the dresses I tried on before the one I picked seemed like they were way too small, but the lady said that was how they fit. I didn't particularly like them because they looked like they were too small, uncomfortable, and of course showed everything you don't want showing on your wedding day. But the dress I got was perfect!!!

I really enjoyed the services offered at David's Bridal. I went to David's Bridal after a bridal fair to see what they had even before we had selected a wedding date. It was early in planning and I had absolutely no idea what I was looking for and what to expect. They were very helpful - I tried on every dress in the store - and its really a funny story. I fell madly in love with the first dress I tired on... but I thought its couldn't be that easy and felt like I needed to try more dresses on. Every dress after that was compared to the first, and the sales associate offered to stay late in order to help me decide. She even turned down the lights to show me how the dress sparkled. It was a very unique, personal experience. I cried and knew the dress was for me.
However, I hesitated and felt like I needed to look at more dress stores. I did not share the same experience anywhere else and actually felt the service was very poor. David's Bridal offers a personal experience and they continue to follow up with you even after your wedding. The dress was absolutely perfect, the alterations easy, the customer service fantastic - I couldn't be happier.

I was very pleased with David's Bridal. I found the perfect dress, the tiara, veil and shoes all in one place! They even gave me a special discount for purchasing everything there. I ordered my dress close to deadline not realizing that it can take a while for them to ship, but they shipped right on time! I would recommend David's Bridal to any bride who wants an amazing dress for great price!

Got a great dress on sale. Spent more on the alterations at David's, however, the people in alterations are HIGHLY talented and amazing.

The Preston Rd Loacation was the one that I used. I had went to 2 other Davids Bridals before that and I had a very bad impression...BUT I decided this one last location and they were WONDERFUL!

I loved my dress. Oh it was so beautiful. It fit so very well and I had even gained a little bit of weight before the wedding. I was very happy and I am using them for my preservation also. The pricing is really inexpensive too since most of us are on a budget since we all can't be Paris Hilton.

I had a last minute wedding and needed something right off the rack which was a bit of a challenge for me because I am also 8 months pregnant. I was able to find a really beautiful gown that was pretty much what I wanted... but the price was a bit steep. But that is what I get for waiting till the last minute!

I was so blessed to find a $700 dress for 99.00 during David's Bridal's annual sale. It was prefect.

I was able to get an amazing deal on a beautiful dress. The customer service reps were excellent and very helpful.

They ordered the wrong size dress. When I was finally fit for the dress, it was almost two sizes too small in the bust. This was less than 4 weeks before my wedding. By this point, the dress was being discontinued. They had to track down one off the rack somewhere in Texas. When it finally came in, it was dirty and a little over two weeks before the wedding. After several visits to the shop over a weeks time, it finally was clean. I actually was able to pick up my dress for allterations a week befre the wedding. They wanted me to use their in house seamstress, but were going to CHARGE me for a rush alteration. I used my personal seamstress. I didn't even get a discount after all of this. I definitely do not reccommend David's Bridal in San Antonio.

I truly enjoyed my experience with the Davids Bridal staff. I was also able to find my dream dress at 1/3 of the cost! I was also able to get a bridesmaid dress for someone in a different city from the Davids Bridal by her home without having to make any trips.

I was able to find the exact dress I had seen online in my size!! I tried a few, but decided to go with my first choice. They had a new one ordered for me. I was able to get $50 off so that covered the tax. They had everything ready when I went back to get it. I would reccomend looking at their website to get ideas then going in and getting them to help you fine tune things.

I bought my dress here and had a great experience. I didn't know what I was looking for, but the sales associate was very helpful in picking several that met my very vague instructions. I actually found the one I wanted my first trip!

I picked a simple bridesmaid dress style from David's Bridal and was very pleased with the customer service. My attendants were from all over the US and so I needed a chain that could serve them all - David's worked great! They were able to go to a place near them, try one on, and place an order very easily.

My flower girl got her dress from David's Bridal. It was very convenient because her sister was also a bridesmaid and they were able to get them from the same location. I liked that her dress was basic white with a sash to match the other girls. The service was good too.

After I got my appointment and tried on dress after dress, I finally found the one I loved. I wasn't ready to buy it that day, because I wanted to look around some more. So when I was ready to buy it I went back and it was being taken off the shelf what they had hanging out was all that was left. I got so lucky they had one last one and it happened to be in my size and more than half off the price! They were fast and great with there alter services, and I just love my dress.

I found exactly what I wanted in a wedding dress, and it was not too expensive. Also, there were so many choices for bridesmaids dresses and flower girl dresses at equally affordable prices. I found the perfect cut and color for my bridal party.

I bought my dress from one of their senior sales people. She never called me regarding a fitting and never told me that I would need a bustle for the dress. I ended up having to pay extra to have it done at the last minute because it was the only time I saw the dress (I lived out of town). My mother also had to have them press the dress two times because the first time it was done so poorly. There was no follow up from the sales people at all. It was a very unprofessional place and I wouldn't recommend someone go here unless they really couldn't afford to go anywhere else.

I loved my dress. It was the first one I tried on, and even after trying on many others, I still came back to it.

The staff was courteous and friendly. Not only did they help me find an inexpensive dress, they were able to find me an even better deal with a discount coupon! That, I wasn't expecting. Would definitely recommend to others :)

The salespeople were nice and friendly, but they do a lot of volume and I didn't feel like they were very attentive. My mom and I had to cart all of the "possible" dresses to the dressing room ourselves and would have appreciated some help. We found a great dress that was on sale for $199.00 and thought that I was getting a great deal....WRONG! Alterations brought the total cost of the dress up to $1100. I also purchased a beautiful (overpriced) tiara here because I really liked the design and didn't think I could find it anywhere else. Two weeks later I found a comparable tiara for 20% of the price. My advice: Snag the dress on sale and get it altered somewhere else.

I got my dress off the shelf with the discount. It should have been $500 and I got it for $200. Great deal.

I was in my sister's wedding in 2006, and I went with her to pick out her dress and try on bridesmaids dresses. I didn't realize you could book an appointment with your own bridal dress consultant at no extra charge, which was wonderful. My sister's engagement was short, so she only had 3 months to get it all done. David's Bridal helped her find her dress and got it in time to have altered. They also had a great selection of bridemaids dresses, and since she got her dress there, we got a discount on our dresses. It was great value for money.
