The numbers could speak for themselves, but I will elaborate.
I went in to try on dresses around November or December of 2011. I found the dress that I wanted, an ordered it in the exact size of the dress that was on the showroom floor. When I tried that dress on, it was a little tight in the bust, but it zipped up and was comfortable everywhere else. I ordered the dress, in the same size but different color. I was told that it would be in by May.
The dress came in early (February) and I was excited. I tried it on and it was too small, to the point where it wouldn't even zip up. Since I was on a workout regiment I agreed to take the dress and the consultant (who was NOT the same consultant that I had when I originally ordered my dress) told me that there was no need to worry since I had ordered my dress so early that I would be fine to order another one or get alterations.
I went into the store the first week of June to get my alterations done and see what other final steps I needed to take to get my dress taken care of. The dress that was too small, actually zipped up, but it was too tight so I made an appointment to get alterations done. When I went to get my dress pinned, the seamstress told me that there was no way that the dress would ever fit, even if it was taken out to the maximum measurements. She also told me that I would bust the seams and basically ruin the dress if I tried to wear it. The dress needed to be taken out 2 3/4 inches and she told me that the dress allowed for that. But...the chiffon had a french seam and I would have to purchase additional chiffon to make the dress fit correctly. When asked about the price for chiffon she told me that David's did not sell fabric and that I would have to go match my own fabric and bring it to the seamstress.
Of course I was upset, so I got upset. The manager of the store came to calm me down. After telling her my issue, she proceeded to tell me that each color of the dress is made in a different factory and that sometimes the dresses aren't made to the same scale. Thinking that made no sense...I asked her what my options were. She said that I could order the dress in the next size up and that it would be back by 7/5 which was 9 days before my wedding. I told her that I guess that was what I was going to have to do and she looked up the dress in the computer. When she looked it up, she could not find a dress that would get back in time in the next size up so I had to order the dress two sizes too big. Because of that I had to pay $50 extra for an extended size when it wasn't even my mistake that the dress didn't fit.
When the dress came back I was called to come do a fitting and the dress was way too big. It was big enough for me to take off with the zipper zipped. Since my wedding was in a little over a week, I had to get alterations done. After pinning the dress...it had to be taken in almost 3 inches and cost me over $125. My original consultant was there that day and she looked to see if she could pull the original dress that i ordered, but it was no longer in the store. She actually apologized, but nothing else was ever done to compensate me for the time that I had to wait and all of the problems that I had.

I purchased my wedding dress. The dress was PERFECT for my destination wedding. It was priced moderately. I had it altered from a private party, Davids Bridal was to expensive for that. They were busy when I made my appointment and were not as attentive as I wanted but overall was ok.

I had a pretty good experience through David's Bridal except for the fact when I would make appointment's with my consultant should would not be available, and at first my consultant was not bringing me out my style of dresses. She finally stepped up the par. I loved me dressed I purchased from there. Absolutely stunning! :) Also my bridesmaids got their dresses there and I let them pick there dresses out...My girls were just absolutely fab looking! :) & the price paid was great!

I would not reccomend David's Bridal to anyone! Their prices are low, and you do get what you pay for. My dress was too short, but they couldn't order me a new one in a 4 month time frame. The alterations department was very helpful, however, the sales staff was lacking. I am big busted, and the bra they tried to sell me did not fit. They advised me that it was because I am large in the bust, and that wasn't their problem. Worst service ever!
GUEST

They were extremely helpful as well as quick in ordering the dresses for my bridesmaids in the appropriate colors very quickly! Very pleased with their service!

The consultant we had wasn't very friendly, kind of rude, and didn't listen to my wants or needs, she just wanted to sell a dress and as many accessories as she could as quickly as she could.

I had a lady name Mandy who was my wedding dress consultant....she was the best, so helpful and not just telling you look pretty to make a sell but to actually help you with a selection of the perfect wedding dress...

I was looking for the perfect wedding dress for my sunset beach wedding that would be held in Pass-A-Grille (st. pete) Florida. I was amazed that the very first dress I picked out was the one! It wasn't even a wedding gown- it was a ball gown! It was the perfect color (Ivory), with a vintage look...Just what I wanted! Laverne was super helpful! Great experience!

Ok quality for a decent price

If you are on a low budget like I was David's Bridal has very beautiful dresses for low prices.

I tried on dresses at David's and it was aweful. Seriously, just be willing to spend a little bit more money and go somewhere else. David's is like the WalMart of wedding dresses. Every other girl in there was either pregnant or already had a kid in there.
My best friend bought her wedding dress there a couple of years ago and it has gone WAY down hill since then. I tried on some of the "designer" dresses, and on one the beads fell off when I started walking! I bought a BEAUTIFUL dress for relatively the same price somewhere else, where the workers were actually nice and accomodating.
(Did I mention that David's lost my appointment and all the information from the first time I went in? Arrgghh... I won't keep telling horror stories, but trust me I have more!!)

David's bridal was an affordable option for my dress. They did call me all the time too and it was rather annoying. There is good customer service and then there is stalking. They were a little on the stalker side. But still I loved my dress and that is all that matters.

I will never buy anything from this place again. Not only did they call me nonstop, but they also called 5 times to set up an appointment for alterations AFTER I had one set up. Then when I got there on the day of the appointment they couldn't find my name in their appointment book. My dress was reasonably priced I guess but I spent over $200.00 in alterations that consisted of a hem at the bottom and the strap that went around my neck had to be shortened. When the dress came in, there were all kinds of strings hanging from it and when I asked for them to remove them, the sales person had an attitude. If you can get you dress from somewhere else, I reccommend you do it.

Actually, it was a okay experience. They said that my bridesmaids dresses I picked would work out. I was very optimistic until the deadline to order came up (six weeks) and my girls went to order it and they changed to order date to 12 weeks! I was very upset, but I rolled with the punches and ordered my second option. When it came to picking out the shoes a whole other issue arose. A sales person said the shoes had a 20.00 discount on them...yeah that wasn't true when we went to order them. I saythe cons out way the pros for this vendor.

The dress was beautiful. They had a great selection, but the service was lacking.

Loved the dress, loved the sale, loved the veil & shoes, loved the alterations lady and appreciated all they did for me and my dress to make it fit me perfectly :)

We got our Bridesmaids dresses here and the people were easy to work with!

I would recommend David's Bridal to anyone. There was a professional wedding consultant to help me through every step. She showed me where my sizes were located once I informed her what style of dress I wanted. She helped me through the whole process of trying on my dress. She also helped with my accessories such as my veil, shoes, jewelry, and garter. I brought my six year old son with me during this experiance and she was very patient and even entertained him somewhat. I believe David's Bridal can help with the simplest wedding like mine or handle a very large wedding and all it's intricacies. Not only were they very helpful but there was a vast selection of any wedding convenience with the luxury of one-stop shopping.

I was completely satsified with David's Bridal until I left my dress with the alterations "specialist". The women that work in alterations at this facility are horribley rude and have no concept of customer service. Don't bother leaving your dress there ahead of time with the expectation that you will get it back sooner. It took them 9 weeks to get my dress altered. My dress sat in their backroom collecting dust until they were "able to get to it". They don't bother with alterations for your dress until it gets close to your wedding date. The associates at this store are amazing and the staff up front was very helpful, however, I would not recommend getting alterations done here! Go somewhere else!!!!

I bought my tiara and veil and shoes from David's Bridal. They had them ordered, shipped and the shoes dyed within 2 months! Great service!
GUEST

I got a great deal on my dress. I went to the website and picked out some dresses I liked and took the numbers to them as a starting point. I loved one of the ones I picked out!!
GUEST

I had a wonderful experience with David's Bridal. I was running on a tight time line and their professionalism and knowledge helped me find exactly what I wanted in a very efficient manor.
GUEST

I LOVE Davids Bridal! The very first dress I tried on was the one that I ended up picking. And, the best part is that the dress fit me right off the rack! The lady was a little pushy, and gave me a sob story about her family...I am assuming to try and get me to buy the most expensive dress. Anyhow, they were a great help in getting me into each dress, and trying on veils and the sort. It was a good experience overall, and I would definitely recommended them to anyone.
GUEST

They help me with both my dress and my attendants dresses... they made it so easy!
GUEST

Great place! A+ But the fact that you have to make an appt is kinda stupid to me.
GUEST

My bridal consultant was wonderfully attentive and gave me many choices for my veils and shoes, bras, etc. My bridesmaid dresses also came from there and were beautiful. They helped pull it all together.
GUEST

Dress was gorgeous and was a good price. The manager of the store was very rude and uncompromising.
GUEST

Was a very good experience I would refer them to anyone. They helped me with my dress, vail, undergarments and shoes. Even refered me to places to get my hair done right for my wedding.
GUEST

I had to have my dress altered 1 week before the wedding and they did an fantastic job.
GUEST

The dress I picked was the first one I tried on! The staff was very helpful and helped as much as they could.
