I have never had such great service in my life. Between the fittings, and the payments, and everything else, these people really know how to take excellent care of their clients. They recommend other vendors who advertise through them and they even have their own photography company.

What a horrible place to shop! whereas I eventually got my dress from David's Bridal, I got it from another location with salespersons that cared! The one in East Brunswick handed me a dress and left me alone. No bother, no care. I think that store shut down, and rightfully so!!My dress, though, was GORGEOUS!!!! I loveddddddddddd it! The 2nd salesperson I encountered got me a veil that was on sale and all was well until I realized there was no bustle on my dress. Go figure, got a seamstress to fix it and my wedding day was fine.
GUEST

They were not very flexible and their was confusion with our orders. Would not recommend.
GUEST

Surprised to fall in love with the dress so quickly!Very helpful staff for the most part. A few people who gave very little support while I was getting accessories (like shoes), but everyone to do with the dress was wonderful.

Dress was great, pricing was great, employees were not my favorite. They weren't much help and must have called me a dozen times after I told them I did not want their services. The dresses and pricing is great, but i would recommend going to a different Davids Bridal. I even went back for other accessories and no one asked if i needed any help. The only reason why I went to this Davids Bridal was because it was a convenient location.

The sales staff at Davids was excellent. i did not feel rushed and the sales consultant, Angela, took time to pull gowns that worked for my body type. However the alterations left something to be desired - the first seamstress i met with was rude and didn't want to work; i had to go back a second time and i meet with another seamstress before i was satisfied. she did a beautiful ob and i was very happy with my gown and headpiece.

I am very dissapointed with Davids Bridal. I used them for the bridesmaids and maid of honor dresses. While the dresses are nice and prices are within reason, the alterations were horrible. Too many seamstress touched the dresses and could not get it right. We went back multiple times and alterations prices were outrageous. They kept screwing up the alterations and it was one headache after another. The only solution for one of my bridesmaids was to have her bra sewn right into the dress in order for it to look descent. The manager did however try to satifsy us and made efforts to correct the issue, she even gave us shutterfly gift cards, but we had to wait for hours at a time for the seamstress to attend to us as they had to squeeze us in between appointiments. We did not get our monies worth and in the future I would NOT use their alteration services. I have heard horror stories and should have listened to them. One of my bridesmaids took her dress somewhere else for alterations and it was perfect the first time around. we should have follwed suit. Sorry David's Bridal you get an F in my book. Regretfully Elizabeth B. :-(

I bought my dress at Davids Bridal, and it is beautiful. It's worth what it cost, especially since it was on sale. I wasn't going to pay more than $500 for a dress I would only wear once. The ladies in the store were helpful in finding what I wanted.
GUEST

very helpful and I got my dress at an unbeatable price. Lets just say God put me there at the right time for the right dress.

yeah i have never had a good experience with davids bridaln something always seems to go wrong so i was pleasently surprised that this was fairly painless. beware if your ordering bridesmaid dresses they dont tell you when they are no longer being carried so do not delay if you find one you like. i loved my dress it was everyting i was looking for my consultant was the only one i would deal with because she didnt give me the run around and only tell me things i wanted to hear, she was honest and made sure i was happy after so many bad times

I was initially concerned about David's Bridal dresses looking cheaply made. Let me say that my dress was absolutely gorgeous, and very high quality. It was $1050, and from the Oleg Cassini line. Just beautiful -- retro styling, high-quality satin. The service from the seamstresses -- who I understand are basically sub-contractors with David's Bridal -- was incredible. They are so talented, and their work is flawless. The service from the David's Bridal staff was unbelievably bad. The person assigned to work with me in finding a gown was very rude, and told me several times that certain dress styles weren't for me. I understand that she would know these sort of things, but it is all a matter of opinion, and I would have liked to try the ones on I was interested in and rule them out myself. She actually wouldn't let me try them on. She had me try on several dresses that were the opposite of what I described and showed her in their catalogs. I was really frustrated. I left, angry, and not planning to do business with them.I saw the dress I wound up getting on their website and fell in love with it. I called and asked her if they had it in my size to try on and she said it was brand-new and wouldn't be in for a few weeks. She did call me to let me know it had come in, and I went and tried it on. It was The One.When I paid for my gown, no one said "thank you for your purchase" or anything. No one asked if I was happy with the results. It was very cold and they blatantly just didn't care.I understand that you pay high-end prices for high-end dresses and service, but this was really unacceptably bad. I planned to tell the manager, but then found out she had been the one who rang me up, and she obviously didn't care if I was happy. I also purchased my shoes there and again, there was no interest in whether or not I liked them or they fit or anything. It was understood that I had ordered them and was expected to buy them. Luckily, they were awesome : )If my dress had been available for order online, I would have ordered it and avoided the store, for sure.I also ordered some things online -- my veil, my purse (clearance - $20). The online service was fine.

I know that they get a lot of mixed reviews but I was pretty happy with my experience at David's Bridal. I think a lot of it has to do with luck and alot has to do with how hard you look. If you're patient and lucky, you can pick out something great. Also, I know that some of the salespeople can be somewhat pushy, but the lady who helped me was great.
GUEST

The dress choices were great and the salesgirl was amazing. Alterations dept. doesn't offer the best service...
GUEST

I thought that David's Bridal is the place to go.... You get everything there - brides dress and bridesmaids dress for a nice price...
GUEST

I found the perfect dress at David's Bridal and it was the first one I tried on. It was also on sale which was very nice. But I became aware very early on that you had to watch out for the add-ons they try to sell you. Make sure you ask how much the bra is going to cost before you agree to buy it. They charge $80 for the long line bra which I was able to buy at Penney's for around $30. The dress may be on sale but the accessories usually aren't. Also be advised that the alterations are phenomenally priced. They cost more than the dress, especially if you are short and need a lot of hemming. If I knew a good dressmaker that I could trust I would have gone there for my alterations. They did a wonderful job, but it was very expensive. But the end result, I looked gorgeous for my wedding. I bought the dress, bolero jacket and shoes there.
GUEST

The prices are good and they make it very easy to pick out dresses. Looking at their catalogs and showing them which ones you want to try on is the easiest way to shop there.
GUEST

I purchased my wedding shoes from David's Bridal. They had limited selections, but I fell in love with mine the minute I saw them. They had a little pearl on them that matched my jewelry. The price was reasonable compared to most of the other stores offering wedding shoes. The staff, however, was not the friendliest.
GUEST

I had two problems with them they do not call when your dresses come in and the clasp on my wedding dress broke the day of the wedding i had picked it up 2 days before the wedding and the day of it was gone.
GUEST

I thought this store was excellent in their customer service and variety of dresses and accessories...the only thing negative I can say is when I had to get my dress altered, the quality of work wasnt so great...thats only my opinion...

We received our dresses sooner than the allotted 12 weeks. However, we were not notified by any store associates that the dresses had arrived; we called them ourselves and then were told that they had already arrived approximately one week earlier. In addition, my mom ordered a clutch to accessorize her dress; again, she was not notified when the clutch arrived and when she returned to the store to pick up the clutch, the clutch was not placed in a bag to prevent it from being ruined, but simply handed to her. When the dresses arrived and we wished to have them altered, one of the associates informed us that we would need to wait 2-3 weeks before we could even schedule the dresses to be altered. Upon speaking with the manager the next day, my mom was told that that information was incorrect and that they could schedule us right away. To be on the safe side and ensure that we received the dresses in time for the wedding, we chose to have another vendor alter the dresses.
GUEST

The shopping experience was pleasant but the alterations process became a little stressful.
GUEST

Very helpful even with me and all my bridesmaids trying dresses on she helped everyone in a timly manner.
GUEST

The sales associates were nice, but a little bit pushy at times. The problem I had was with the alterations department. 2 of the brides maids dresses were not hemed properly an we had to go back several times. Plus they were a bit expensive.
GUEST

This was the best David's that I dealt with. They did an awesome job on the alterations. The dress was beautiful, and everyone thought it cost much more than it acutally did!
GUEST

Invitations were a little less than expected but I was able to make them work with a some "editing". As for my dress, I couldn't find a better price.
GUEST

I purchased my dress from David's Bridal as well as all my bridesmaid dresses, maid-of-honor dress, flower girl and both the mother of the bride & the mother of the groom purchased their dresses here. We were very impressed with the costs as compared to higher ended bridal boutiques. Eva, the consultant I worked with to pick out my dresses was very straightforward and honest. I appreciate that. She was the found who found the perfect dress for me. And this was a dress I had ignored and did not think would work for me. But she knew her stuff, and the dress was absolutely breathtaking.
GUEST

Amazing. The woman I worked with was amazing. I was traveling back and forth from Va to NJ for my dress fitting and they always fit me in. They had my dress altered the way I wanted it after just one fitting. They did so much work to my dress, the altering crew was just amazing. I am five foot trying to wear a dress made for someone who is at least 5'8 and they made it fit me like a glove without loosing any of the design. I loved them!
GUEST

The service was not as great as I expected. The prices are decent, but I expected more professionalism.

I went to David's just for the sake of giving the place a shot (I have a few friends that had gotten their dresses there) and was very surprised. Renata was an absolute doll to work with, and she really listened to me helped me find what I was looking for. We found the BM dresses the same day, without a problem. I bought my dress on the spot, and the girls ordered theirs a few weeks later. I got a phone call letting me know when the dresses were ready to be picked up, and one was shipped to a BM in AZ. I also went back to buy my shoes there and I love them.
I didn't have my alterations done there, so I can't comment on that.

Most people have problems with David's Bridal but I didn't. I found my dress after visiting many other boutiques. Our bridal consultant was very nice and patient and brought me lots of dresses. When I tried my dress on, I knew it was the one. We purchased it that day along with my tiara and shoes which were also very easy to find. I also had all my alterations done there. No problems there either. The dress was ready well before my wedding and it fit perfectly. I was very happy with David's Bridal.
GUEST

The first time I went, the saleswoman I had was not very helpful. I went back a second time, and the saleswoman I worked with was wonderful.
GUEST

I loved my dress but it was an absolute headache to deal with the staff at Davids Bridal. The first fitting they were supposed to have three changes made to my dress and when we got there nothign had been done, even though they called and said it was ready the week before. We ended up waiting 2 hours for them to do it while we sat around.. we lived an hour away.. The second fitting they had taken in the corset top even though it fit perfect before and we specified no alterations were to be made to it. The bustel looked like it was done by wal mart and not by professionals working on a $1200 dress and I had to fight them to correct it. I do not reccomend them to any of my friends, unfortunately.
GUEST

They were good for simple dresses
GUEST

Dress order came in quickly. For the price could have provided free garment bag.
GUEST

David's Bridal was convienant for my bridesmaids because I had girls from different states in my wedding party. Since it is a chain store, it allowed the girls to order their dresses at their nearby location, instead of having to travel in for just a dress fitting. The prices are very reasonable for the dresses, however alterations might be a little high. Personal attention in the store is not the greatest, but that is good for those brides who would prefer some time alone to browse first.
GUEST

A I didn't really have any complaints about them. I didn't have my dress altered there but it came in on time and was the right size. Be careful of their sales tactics as they sold me a crinolyn that I didn't need and didn't wear. They knew I didn't need it!
GUEST

David's Bridal in E. Brunswick, NJ was so so helpful, my fitting were always at the time they were scheduled and my dress was done when they told me it would be.... they have a beautiful selection for both the bride and bridesmaids :)
GUEST

I did not want to spend a fortune on my dress so I only searched a couple of shops for my dress. Once at David's Bridal, I realized that I could get just as beautiful a dress there than I could at Macy's or any other boutique shop. While the service was not always stellar (especially going on a Saturday morning/afternoon when they are swamped!), I did get some attention from a helper there and was able to select the dress of my dreams.
GUEST

We were living in NJ at the time and David's Bridal allowed us to pick up the dress in GA for the wedding at no extra cost. Excellent customer service.
GUEST

I purchased my dress in New Jersey, and they allowed me to pick it up in Georgia. The price and dress were perfect.
GUEST

My friends and family all had good experiences with them. So, They were the only ones on my mind. I went and picked out everyone's dresses including mine on the same day. Luckily only 2 girls couldnt make it but got their dresses from one of their local david bridal's. The girls and my mother purchased their dresses while we were there. I put a deposit on mine after I tried on literally almost all the dresses they had. A few days later, I saw the ultimate dress at another store, tried it on and fell in love. I went back to david's bridal to get my deposit back. They said they do not refund deposits, they didnt tell me that when they asked for one. They didnt alter it because I had called prior to going in and they said they didnt get to mine yet. They said they can give me store credit and had to take it. However everyone had already purchased their dresses so I didnt v=even need the credit. I wanted to use it to put towards the dress i wanted. I was very upset that they didnt explain that to me.

I feel like a lot of the people who work in David's Bridal want you in and out so they can move on to their next customer. I had made an appointment for all my girls to pick out dresses and get fitted yet they "lost" the appointment. Then acted like we were inconvianceing them. Their prices for alterations are outrageous. I wish I would have gone to Bridal Fantasy in Avenel.

I had no problem at all with DB. They were wonderful to work with from beginning to end. Judy, my saleslady, was wonderful and made me feel very important. The girls in my bridal party picked out the dress of their choice from DB and and everything was pretty easy.
