I bought my dress and undergarments at David's Bridal two years before the actual wedding date. They had one of their $99.00 sales and I knew I would need a dress eventually so on a whim I went in to check out their selection. When it actually came time to get the dress altered they did it just like they said they would, however I was less than happy with the bussel job. Either way it served it's purpose so I din;t make a fuss about it - what did make me angry is that the $75.00 bra I bought no longer fit and even though I had the receipt and the tags were still on the bra, they would not refund my money, store credit only. I understand that it had been a long time since the date of purchase, but clearly it had never been worn and they could have put it right back on the shelf to sell to someone else. It was in mint condition.
After looking through the phonebook trying to find an alternative location for purchasing bridesmaid dresses, we eventually settled on David’s Bridal. Jessica has used them on multiple occasions as she was involved in other weddings, and had not had the best experiences with the customer service received. The dresses were beautiful, and they did a great job on the alterations. The only negative part about David’s Bridal is the complete lack of customer service or in some cases respect for their customers. The carry an attitude of being the “only ones in town, so deal with it or find another alternative.” As long as everything with your order is correct and you don’t have to ask for anything other than picking up your dress, it is a great place. But if you find that you need help, prepare for an attitude.
