David's Bridal has the perfect dress for me! It was a little more money than I wanted to spend, but it was definitely money well spent.

Of all of the horror stories that I've heard from other Brides about David's Bridal, I had an absolutely wonderful experience by comparison. Although it was busy and of course the girls working there were very busy, if you make an appointment, you'll be taken care of promptly. Sam was the one to help me and she was wonderful every step of the way. She only showed me dresses that she thought I would like, not dresses that she wanted to sell. And she selected dresses that were in my price range. I ended up selecting a dress of the rack because it was in awesome condition. The ladies who did the alterations (although their English wasn't too good) were phenomenal! Props all around.

David's Bridal in Huntsville, AL is by far the worst experience I had with anyone in the industry from start to finish!! It started w/ not having a dedicated person to help the day I went to try on dresses (I had an appt). My family/friends were there to help, thank goodness. I went back one week later to try on a particular dress and order, it had been discontinued/no longer available to order during that week. No one ever contacted me! Luckily they found one in a size I could wear. My bridesmaids ordered their dresses, we were told we needed to hurry b/c they were on sale. My last bridesmaid went to order hers, they had entered the wrong dress info and ordered wrong dresses. They suggested a cost difference but I fought it and they honored b/c of their mistake. When the dresses came in, they had ordered the wrong size for 1 of my 4 girls. The dress yet again, had been discontinued. I threw a fit, they okayed another dress to be made. The only thing I was happy with was the lady I dealt with during fitting/alterations. BUT when I went back to pick up dress and have final fitting...they couldn't find my dress. After asking me "my name" 3 times, they finally found it under the WRONG NAME!! HORRIBLE SERVICE, UNPROFESSIONAL, NO ATTENTION TO DETAIL. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM! Have heard numerous horror stories about the same store from other brides!

I loved my dress and I loved the service I got every time I stepped foot in there

My inviations were so pretty, the ribbon was a sturdy heavy ribbon so it did not tear easy which was great! the color matched perfectly with the colors in my wedding!

My consultant Rebecca was so very helpful. Davids helped me from looking for the perfect dress several months before my wedding all the way untiil picking out my jewelry a few weeks before the wedding. They were always willing to go above and beyond to get me and my wedding party what I needed.

I went to Davids just to look and had planned on not buying anything that day since I had never been wedding dress shopping. Well we went in tried on some dresses and then the assistant brought me a dress to try on. That last dress was the one. We ended up paying for it that day and within a couple of weeks they had received it. The people there are very friendly and very helpful!!!

David's bridal was horrible....I would never use them again for anything. They were, by far, my biggest thorn in my side out of the entire wedding planning!I picked a gorgeous dress for my 5 bridesmaids and 2 jr bridesmaids to wear and, in the end, it turned out beautifully, thank goodness. One of my bridesmaids tried to order her dress 3 times before I finally went to the store with her and had to get tough with the ladies. 2 of my others had similar problems. One lived in the middle of nowhere and had to drive 2 hours up to HSV only for the sales people to tell us that we were out of luck and that there was noway we could get the dress in time and wouldn't offer any advice. Just said sorry. My girl was so upset she decided to drive another 2 hours down to Birmingham, AL and talk to the people there. THEY were amazing. Helped her track the dress down in Texas and she actually ended up getting her dress before several of the others!!I went into David's at least 8 times over 5 months....not ONCE did a sales associate come to help me. Not once did they talk to me until I went to the front to purchase something or track them down to ask a question. Never again.

I loved my dress and the alterations were done well and on time. I would recommend this store to any bride.

My wife stopped by here to pick up her dress.It looked great on her and was made of very nice fabrics.They helped her through everything and even made minor alterations to the dress.Their service was impeccable and will definitely recommend their shop to all of our friends.

I called to make an appointment to try on dresses, and everyone was really nice. The only thing I did not like was that they kept trying to push the sale of their shoes, veil, and them tiaras. I told them 3 or 4 times i already had all of that stuff.

As a bride, David's Bridal in Huntsville, AL treated me like a queen when I went for the first time. I got the exact dress I had wanted for several months with the perfectly matching veil. My dress before alterations was $399 and almost $1000 after, so if you know somewhere cheaper for alterations then go there. However, whenever I went with one of my bridesmaids they treated us like 2nd class citizens. They are truly all about the brides there. And DO NOT got on a Saturday because it is jam packed and you won't get any service. Take the time to make an appointment in the middle of the week, you'll get the attention you need.

David's Bridal was really great! They had exactly the dress I wanted that fit our budget perfectly! The consultants were a little less professional, which was actually great for me. It made the atmosphere feel a lot more relaxed and comfortable. The only problem I had with them is that they did not call me when my veil arrived. I had to call them about three weeks after it had gotten to the store to find out it was ready for pick-up. Other than that, they were great and I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

They have a variety of dresses within any price range.

Although I LOVED!!! my dress I will NEVER shop at Davids Bridal of Huntsville EVER again! They runied my maid of honors gown and didn't want to make it right and they almost let me leave with a stain on my dress. The manager did give a discount but in my opinion it should have been free. It was 3 weeks before my wedding! NEVER SHOP HERE!!!!

My sister and I went during their $99 dress sale, without an appointment. We only had a few hours and did not really expect to find anything that day, expecting to try on many dresses as my friend had a few years earlier. As we started to browse we found the $99 rack and picked up a dress that we both liked. When I tried it on I was so happy. I never thought of myself as the big white wedding dress type of person, but this dress was amazing, fitting perfect and not even needing any alterations. We were helped with all the undergarments, jewelry and veil, and walked out only spending about $215.

The lady that helped me with my dress was super sweet and very patient with me while I was very picky about my dress.

Wedding Dress: 5 Stars - Every time I had to visit their store, I was always given the attention and respect I expected. Everyone is very nice and truly cares about getting things the way you want them. My dress came in much earlier than anticipated. I even changed my mind about the color of my dress, and they made exchanging it painless. When I later remembered I needed to exchange my veil to match, they accepted the one I had even though I couldn't find the packaging.

Bridesmaids Dresses: 5 Stars - No complaints from anyone. Service was just as great and they received their dresses earlier as well! Beautiful!

Alterations: 3 Stars - I realized after my alterations had been done that the loose wrinkles in my dress were there because of a defect from when the dress was manufactured. When I had pointed them out to the alterations lady at DB, she said it was supposed to look that way. Looking back at pictures of the original dress I had gotten (same style, but different colors), it did not have this problem. I tried another tailor to have it fixed, but they refused to touch the dress, since it would be difficult to fix.
I took it back to David's Bridal and told them the story, and they found a new dress for me at the Chattanooga store!

Overall, an okay experience. I knew what dress I wanted before I went, which helped. However, I had a few bad experiences. They forgot to call me and my bridesmaids when their dresses came in. They also messed up my alterations, but one of the ladies was super sweet and corrected them on the spot. I would say the service was about average and I would encourage others to shop around - don't JUST go to David's.

i had a wonderful dress and i cant wait to actually wear it, because of family we snuck off and married. but in two months we will have another one big one. i wouldnt do it without this dress it is so perfect. i love their selections and their help was the best.

My dress was beautiful.

There were some problems with getting shoes dyed, they forgot to put the order in. They also forgot to order my shoes, because they had to order a half-size. The inital sales lady was exceptional, but everytime thereafter that I had to go in, my service wasn't what should have been expected.

Davids Bridal was great! I never thought that I would have bought my wedding dress there, but there selection has gotten better over the years and the service was wonderful!

Went in and came out same day with my dress, it was beautiful, they worked with us on the head piece which I was very specific on the type and style. They found it.Thank you for having my dream dress

To begin with, I was very pleased with David's Bridal. We scheduled an appointment to do the dress shopping and everything was going smoothly. They tell you to bring your dress in FOUR WEEKS BEFORE THE WEDDING to get it steamed. Which I did. Then, they tell you to pick it up 2-3 days before the wedding. So, here I am, to pick up my dress 2-3 days before my wedding, I've driven 45 minutes to the nearest David's Bridal location. Ok so, is my dress ready? Ohh let me check....no I'm sorry, it HAS NOT BEEN STEAMED YET! I almost fell in the floor!! It has just been SITTING here for 4 ENTIRE WEEKS? So, I wait for literally 2 hours for my dress to be steamed. This makes me a very unhappy bride. No one wants to have this stressful situation put on them DAYS before the wedding.I was happy with David's Bridal up to this point. They left a lasting impression, one that did not sit very well with me.

Davids bridal was quick and easy for me, I never really cared much for the dress like I'm supposed to, but at davids bridal, I kid of fell in love with some of the dresses, but it was easy to choose which one

I have yet to meet anyone who has had an adequate experience with this store. It is difficult to get anyone to help you, as most of the employees are teenagers who sit behind the front desk talking and playing with their hair. It was difficult to get an estimated date my dress would be in, and when I finally was able to pick it up, they had ordered the wrong dress and size for me. My consultant knew she had made the mistake, however, it was like pulling teeth attempting to get them to rush reorder the dress. Should you have a problem, do not call the corporate office, instead call the regional manager, as she is more than willing to help you in any situation. Should you need alterations, make sure you get Jeanette, as she is the only one who knows what she's doing. With each fitting I went to, there was always a girl who's dress was lopsided or ill fitting because another alterationist had sloppily done it. Please be weary when shopping here.

David's Bridal was very frustrating to work with. I would recommend going somewhere that isn't a chain so that you can get more of a one on one with someone that can help you. It is good though if you want something to fit your budget.

The ladies that worked there were the best sales people i know, they were friendly, smart, and helpful. i would recommending them to anyone!

Customer service not that great

The ladies at David's Bridal were professional, friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend going there for not just your dress, but your bridesmaids as well.

David's did great with getting me my dress on time. Alterations were ok. I think they over booked or somethign because it took longer than it should have.

I was schedule an appoitment very easily during a hectic summer bridal season. My attendant was sensitive to all of my needs and helpful when I couldn't make up my mind. I only had 3 months til my wedding so the attendant looking up arrivals dates for all the dresses I loved so I couldn better make a decision. The alterations department was very professional and did an excellent job. However, they are not prompt on calling you when your dress has arrived so I would recommend calling to check.

David's Bridal was OK. It was always very busy and I never felt like my salesperson gave me her full attention. Better prices than smaller shops, though.

Ended up having no choice but to use them because the poor service was not evident until deposits and purchases were made.

David's Bridal was a good choice, but I didn't like how rude some of the employees were. For example I had to come back a week before my wedding to exchange my dress for one of a bigger size, due to an emergency surgery I had had, and the employee that helped me was very rude saying I should've came earlier. Well, if I had KNOWN I was going to have to have the surgery, I would've planned accordingly.

I choose my dress and she hemmed it two days later. My bridal party came in to get fitted and the had there dresses in about three weeks. They provided us with great service.

Beautiful dress, paid only $99 for it. Customer service did leave a lot to be desired, the girls that work there seemed a bit lazy and like they didn't care a thing about helping me.

I was nursing a newborn at the time I was trying on dresses and I do remember them being very patient when I had to feed my little one in the middle of trying on dresses. Looking back, I was making a decision between two dresses and now realize the one I DID NOT choose was more my style. I wish that the salesperson had made an attempt to understand my personal style as well as the style of the wedding and led me towards the best fit for me. The peice of the dress was pretty reasonable but be prepared to factor in over one hundred dollars more for them to put in ties for a bustle which they don't tell you till after you've already commited to the dress.
