They get you in a dress, and up sale you on everything. The alterations dept. They suck...Our dresses were done two days before the wedding and My husband and I were very unhappy with the whole experience. Please save your self the grief ladies. find another vendor.

Loved everyone there! Stephanie and Keira are a fav of mine! They always give one on one personal assistance, and were so friendly! They always remembered me, and would drop everything to be of assistance. Love the store, and love everyone who works there! Great job!

I was not very pleased with my overall experience with David's Bridal in general. My initial experience with the Long Beach location was great. I had already purchased a dress at David's Bridal in Duarte, CA, but was very unhappy with it. The girl who ordered my dress insited I go with petite because I am short even though what I had tried on and liked was not petite. When the dress arrived I did not like the fit and felt sour about the dress and experience all together, so I took my dress (since it was already paid for) and visited another David's Bridal location. Cheryl at David's Bridal Long Beach was fabulous. I found a dress that I loved even more. David's Bridal prices are reasonable too. I purchased the dress and was very pleased with that experience, but it was every experience after that that was not so great. Their stores are always swamped which means you don't get a whole lot of attention when you are their, making you feel very unimportant. The Duarte store had misplaced two bridesmaids shoes and had to re-order on an emergency basis, only after I got extremely upset. I had my daughters shoes died at the Long Beach store and didn't realize until we were packing up to leave to our wedding that the store had never called and informed me they were ready. When I called in a panic that said "oh yeah, they're ready", like it was no big deal. I almost didn't get them.

It's David's Bridal. You're not going to get the personalized service like you would at a smaller boutique store, however my budget forced my hand and I ended up getting my dress at David's Bridal. I wish I had held off on buying the undergarments for my dress--I lost weight before the wedding and they ended up not being worn because they were too big and DB has a strong final sale policy. I will say that despite the service and lack of personalization, my dress was absolutely perfect for me and I got so many compliments at the wedding--it really was beautiful.

I would not recommend the DB experience to anyone. It is not that the dresses are not beautiful. The dresses are absolutely gorgeous; however, the customer service is not. I have gone to three DBs, and they were all terrible with customer service. \r\n\r\nFirst I went to the Las Vegas store, on Sahara, to order my bridesmaids dresses as my BMs live in Nevada. The first initial meeting was okay, the sales consultant helped my bridesmaids pick out dresses and took down their sizes and orders. However, she failed to input any of the sizes measurements into the computer, so the ordering of the dresses were delayed by 2 months. Additionally, the junior bridesmaid\'s dress was never ordered and we ended up having to pay $134 extra dollars because the sales consultant never placed the order. I called the corporate office and they promised a refund, but I never received it.\r\n\r\nAt this Long Beach store, they lost my appointment three times, so when I went into the store, they had no idea I was coming. I waited a half hour before I could try anything on. They did not listen to any of my sizes that I told them, and they had me trying on underwear and dresses that were too small. I explained to the sales consultant that I wanted to try on as many dresses as possible, and after an hour and a half I had only tried on 3, I left.\r\n\r\nAt the Costa Mesa store, the lady said she did not have enough time to help me try on dresses, even though I had made an appointment.\r\n\r\nI will never use DB again.

Found the perfect dress and was the last one I expected I would like. They shipped faster than origionally quoted wich is a major plus.

They got everything done on time. The staff is very friendly and enjoyed getting my dress there. Just wish the alterations were done a little better, but could have been my fault on not insisting they alter it more.

I didnt expect to find a dress as fast as I did. They are very professional and very kind. Very large selection of dresses. I was very happy with everything.

Davids Bridal was fine. I got my perfect dress on sale!! The alterations were a nightmare!! It took forever and it seemed ridiculously overpriced. They also seemed rather annoyed when they called me to change my fitting time, but when I called to re-schedule it they were annoyed that I wanted to change the time, BUT THEY ASKED ME TO!! Then I was told I could bring my dress back a few days before my wedding to have my dressed steamed so it wouldn't be wrinkled... I called the Monday before my wedding and they said its too late and I should have brought my dress in 3 weeks ago if I wanted it steamed. Why would I bring my dress in then?? Wouldn't it be wrinkled AGAIN!?! In the end I just put my dress in the bathroom of the hotel and turned on the hot water for like an hour and steamed my dress that way!

I purchased my wedding dress at the Long Beach Town Center location. I love love love my dress it was the first one I tried on and even though I had to go back a couple more times I finally ordered it. My sales girl, Kyle, was great! She really took the time to help and didn't pressure me at all :)

I got a beautiful dress at a reasonable price, my bridesmaids were coming from various places and they were able to get their dress fitting to accommodate for their need. I got the dress altered and it was done so well you couldn't see any changes at all.

I went to this store to get a dress i fell in love with-they had it in stock but with a few stains. The lady who helped me at the front (Shana, maybe) was wonderful! She went above and beyond to find this dress at another store and have it shipped directly to ME!!! That was so wonderful of her to suggest- the dress fit me wonderful and I couldn't be happier with the this dress!

I originally tried on and picked out a dress in IL. I took time to look around, and finally decided on the dress I picked out in IL. Due to the fact that my residence and the wedding are both located in LBC, I decided to order my dress and veil from the LBC store. I also purchased a bridesmaid's dress for a friend's wedding. There were several times I called the store, and I was hung up on. During my appointments, my consultant walked off, and did not return until I walked to the counter to pay. Once the dresses arrived, I decided to go to TK tailoring in Huntington Beach (excellent seamstress) to alter both my wedding dress and the bridesmaid dress. You get what you pay for at this store.

They were close, and my mother made my dress so this was just for my husband to get his tux. We had a small wedding at a chapel and only my husband wore a tux; the value was great but unlike most wedding businesses this is a chain so service just really depended who was in the shop that day, but my husband looked great thanks to them!

We bought our bridesmaids dresses from here -- a beautiful apple red. They provided excellent service. The cost was perfect -- fit into the budget of everyone involved. Great policy on alterations. Would recommend to everyone.

My wedding dress and bridal party's dresses were beautiful and the service at David's Bridals was great ! We had a quick 1 month turnaround on the wedding and they were able to deliver all the beautiful dresses on time ! I highly recommend them !

Got a great deal on a dress in their clearance section, exactly what I was looking for (T length dress) and it had some color on it. I think no matter which David's Bridal you go to they definitely have one of the largest selection of dresses at affordable prices. Some times the staff could be more helpful but they are constantly busy and probably understaffed. In the end of the day I was happy with my dress and the cost. I did not have to deal with alterations however due to the t-length, it fit like a glove.

Ugh, I HATE this location! I did actually get my dress at David's, but I went to the store in Torrance after a horrible experience at the Long Beach Towne Center location. My sister got married 3 years ago and when she went to this location got such bad service (a pushy saleswoman who refused to show her what she asked for) that she went to a different location. But when I got engaged I went to this location first anyway since it was the closest. My attendant ignored me, walking away for unusually long periods of time even though the store had just opened and it was mostly empty. I asked her if she had a particular style from their catalog and she said it was the same as what I had on (it wasn't, and in Torrance I tried on--and bought--the correct style). After 3 dresses she basically told me if I hadn't found anything I liked yet they didn't have anything for me. I'm not going negative on David's in general, in fact I was very happy with my experience at the Torrance store. But I would really warn all brides to avoid the one in the Long Beach Towne Center.

Dolores at the Long Beach store was very helpful. I told her what I had picked from the catalog and she brought a dress that she thought I would like and it turned out to be the one. I got the dress for an incredible price and I got a lot of compliments on it.

I got a beautiful wedding dress here for a reasonable price, BUT, after the purchase is when it all starts going down hill. Alterations was a huge headache. I had to go in four times since my dress was a bit complicated, but i had to deal with four different seamstress each time. There was no continuity of care/service. There were also some language barriers between us that made it difficult to communicate what i wanted. I think for alterations you should have the same seamstress so they know what is going on each time. It was like starting all over again each time!! Not only that, but the day before the wedding i had my mom pick up my dress from being pressed and they gave me the wrong dress!!! We had to drop off the other dress and pick up mine again two hours before our wedding rehearsal. I could not believe the mix up and was really ,very upset at this point. Try to go elsewhere.

Getting the Bridesmaid Dresses from here was difficult.

I got my dress from David's Bridal. It was a beautiful dress and we got it at a great price. HOWEVER, the stress of dealing with the David's Bridal in Long Beach was NOT worth it. If I could do it all over again I would NOT shop there and would NOT recommend it to anyone. The sales women are extremely pushy and some do NOT know what they are talking about. They said I had to leave my dress there and once I took it home there could be no alterations. After leaving it here for 5 months, as told, they called me and said I had to pick it up or it would be returned. They also said I needed to pick out my dress OVER a year in advance to my wedding date because that is how long it takes to get in. It took a week!!! Then I took it in for alterations, left it there for almost TWO MONTHS and then they called and asked if they could keep it longer. I finally picked it up 2 days before our wedding day. When I tried on my dress they said they could alter the top to a sweetheart neckline, but when I got to alterations they said they could not. I had to get a manager involved and they finally did it. This place is full of lies and all they want is your money. DO NOT GO HERE!

I went to this particular David's Bridal looking for my perfect dress. I did find one that I really liked, but because of the extrememly poor customer service I wanted to look at other places. I had an appointment and was on time, if not early, and they were 30 minutes behind, midweek. Then I was told that none of the dresses that I wanted to try on would fit me. And was left in one dress for over 10 minutes without a person to help me anywhere. I left and found another dress at a different bridal store that was MUCH more helpful.

My dress is beautifull and reasonable price. But after service is not good. You got what what you pay.

I ordered my dress threw them online. It needed to be tailored, but after I got that done the dress was perfect. My bridesmaids got their dresses from them in the store. The staff was helpful in the store, but the notification system for the dresses arrival was not very good. We had to call the store several times to find out if the dresses had arrived because we never got an email or a phone call after almost a month and a half. Overall the product was of great quality, and the in store service was amazing.

My first visit was not very good. But it had mostly to do that we went on a busy day. The next time around I had a very great rep help us. We went through several differrent styles until finally we found my dress and man did I look good in it. This place is ideal because my bridesmaids lived in several different places so they could get their dress. I was not so fond about the alterations department for the bridemaids. The dresses were all really long. But aside from that the managerwas really good very sweet. So they more than made up for my first visit.

Loved my dress and the price was right!

David's Bridal has great dresses for the bride on a budget. I got married at the beach, so I was looking for a simple dress in chiffon or organza. David's bridal had exactly what I was looking for. My dress was beautiful and inexpensive and the quality of the fabric was excellent, not compromised at all by the price. I highly recommend David's Bridal to the bride looking for a great dress at a great price.

They had many beautful dresses. It was hard to settle for just one but the emplyees helped me pick out the right one. I have no problems when I wore it and I got many compliments for me and my dress.

I bought my veil from David's Bridal and they were so helpful. The veil I wanted was discontinued, but there was on left in the store with a small tear in it. They not only gave it to me at a discount, but they also repaired it for me, free of charge!

These are the nicest people you will ever meet. I had a dilema with my wedding dress, and the manager took care of it. I don't remember his name, but everyone there was extremely helpfull and made my life a little easier.

NOT AS PLEASED AS I THOUGHT I WOULD BE. TRY OUT OTHER VENUES BEFORE CHOOSING THIS OPTION. DAVIDS BRIDAL IS NOT THE ONLY GOWN VENDOR OUT THERE. JUST TAKE SOME TIME TO LOOK AROUND. THE SERVICE WAS NOT WHAT I THOUGHT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVING HOW HIGHLY ADVERTISED THE STORE IS. SMALLER SHOPS HAVE BETTER SERVICE WITHOUT ALL THE ADVERTISEMENT.

I was happy with Long Beach's customer service. My dress was altered in the time frame they gave me. I ordered my Maid of honor shoes from the David's Bridal in Georgia and they messed up my order. I had to later ask for a refund on the shoes.

I had to have first 3 different David's Bridal locations before I stopped in at the Long Beach location. Not only was I able to find the perfect dress but the staff was great, not to mention very patient. I probably visited 3 times before finding my perfect dress. Despite me being very picky, they were very patient and extremely helpful.

I went to the Torrance location about 2 to 3 times because it was closer to me and every time I had horrible service. So I tried the Long Beach location and what a difference! Everyone greets you and are so helpful. I would only recomend this location.

My journey with David's Bridal began with a great start! I was able to find my dream dress at the crazy $99 sale and it was perfect! My Bridesmaid were able to choose nice dresses that were all different styles but in the same color which was really imporant to me. And I couldn't have the girls buying dresses that were more expensive them mine! The drama started when the dresses began to show up... the first 3 perfect! The last 2 however were the wrong dresses! So Hugo (manager) was great with returning the dresses and reordering the right ones asap (with only 3 months till the wedding)! The last one didn't end up arriving till 2 weeks prior to the wedding (thanks again to Hugo for pushing the order through) even though it was promised a 6 weeks prior to the wedding! My largest issue was with the alterations department at the store... overall they charged a lot more then anywhere that i found. They seem disorganized mostly because of the language barrier- Hard time understanding names and what people were actually wanting changed on the dresses- 2 of the girls had alterations done there and they were wrong (made the neckline to tight). But overall not a bad price and selection - just dont go near the alterations department!

David's bridal has a wide variety and is a great source for off the rack dresses. I know we all want to be unique on our wedding, but honestly, I don't think $3,000 on a dress is really the wisest way into entering marriage. I chose a simple dress from here and it served its purpose!

i got married in march and went to david's bridal to find my dress. Other than the fact that the place was understaffed and it took forever to find somebody to help me and that person kept walking away to help somebody else, i found the perfect dress and was very happy with what i paid for it. Thankyou David's Bridal!

I was happy with the gown selections and with my final choice.
The ladies working there were attentive and I did not have a problem resetting my schedule when I needed to.

Having an idea of what I wanted for a dress I was suprised David's Bridal had it- I've always figured David's Bridal cartered to a certain type of bride (one who wanted to look exactly like everyone else- every single dress on 'bridezilla' has come from David's Bridal as a side-note). I wasn't into anything super poofy, or girly, and actually found a great wedding dress that was classic and flattering. I did however not find anything for my bridesmaids there..

My dress was beautiful and not that expensive...my bridesmaids did wear the same style than me and it was just perferct!!

Well, the seamstress were awful, they lost my dress at first, then when they found it, and did the work they forget to do the tulle and that took an extra week to fix. then they cleaned my dress and sent it to shipping still wet, thinking they would send it wet! the shipper told me was would let it dry or it would be full of mildew, but the shipping lady was the best part of the experince because she made sure my dress got to ny dry and perfect!

When searching for my dream gown David's Bridal was one of the first places I looked! The customer service was absolutely wonderful, not to mention I was greeted with a rose when I entered the store. I would highly recommend David's Bridal to busy brides on a budget looking for beautiful gowns that are affordable.

Great prices, and I loved my dress. But when I went in for my appointment to try on I felt rushed.

I was disappointed in the service. I went to David's Bridal because they were reasonably priced and had heard tehy had a great selection. The girl who was my constultant (had I known she would be mine forever, I would have asked for a change), was awful. She ignored me and when she was talking to me she was criticizing my decisions and trying to sell me things I didn't want. I had 10 bridesmaids, so I figured they would have the best selection for so many sizes. They told me a shawl was available and it wasn't. So when I went to order it and was told it was NEVER available in the color I needed, it was too late to change 10 dresses. If I had it to do over, I would have gone elsewhere, loved the dresses, hated the service.

I went to the David's Bridal at the Long Beach Towne Center and I had nothing but wonderful experiences! They were so friendly and accomodating! I highly recommend them :)

I forget my sales woman's name, but she was so friendly and easy to talk to. She listened to what my likes and dislikes were and did not try to push anything on me. My overall experience at David's Bridal was a delight....from picking out my dress, to alterations.

They were really accommodating. I was in Florida and they ordered the dress i needed. Because the dress was no longer available in my size, they began alterations before I got there.

David's Bridal is a sure bet for a quality, affordable wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses. A big tip... GO DURING THE WEEK and make an appointment if possible. It is so much more relaxing and they can give you personal attention.
