Our daughter looked beautiful on her wedding day. The consultant helped pick out a beautiful dress and accessories.

My customer service experience was amazing! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. It made my experience bridal shopping an enjoyable one. I had only one problem with a dress coming in and never being contacted, but then they called and said I needed to get it next day (I live an hour away) and they were super kind and shipped it for free to my home. I'm very pleased I went with Davids Bridal and would recommend the North Olmsted Ohio store to anyone.

I bought my wedding dress from David's Bridal in North Olmsted, OH. I had an amazing consultant and she helped me with all of my questions. The only thing that I would say is bad, is that she left me in a few dresses for about 10-20mins at a time while she disappeared, but it was extremely busy the day I went. Overall, great place and great quality dresses!

I bought my wedding dress, veil and headpiece from David's Bridal. My dress was perfect and just what I wanted. The prices are very reasonable and they usually have pretty good sales. I didn't look anywhere other than David's Bridal for my wedding dress. I had went one time and the girl helping me was very busy that I felt like I was on my own so I didn't buy a dress then. Once I left I started looking in their magazine and came across a dress I thought I would really like so I made an appointment at a different location and as soon as I put that dress on I knew it would be my wedding dress! Their prices on headpieces and veils are a bit high but it matched my dress perfect and I didn't want to take the chance of not finding something better.

Great to work with and great value! We purchased my MOB dress there as well as the bridesmaids and flower girls.

I want there a few times cause every dress I would love it was discontinued so it took a few times to go and finally find my dress and when I did I bought it on the spot.. got my dress and veil rather inexpensive but did take it to a different lady for alterations cause what I needed done to it( which was only to move a bottom over) would've cost me entirely to much..the staff was very friendly and all my bridesmaids got their dresses there too for a good price.

Although it is usually crowded and the sales staff is run thin, I was still able to find a wonderful dress here. They allowed us to take as much time as we needed and brought out tons of dresses to try on. I ended up with a lace dress that looked a lot more expensive than it was. Overall, I was very happy with my experience here.

It was the second dress I tried on, and I loved it. The dress was awesome. When I went to have the alterations done, I was first shocked at how much it cost, but I had specifiacally asked if the dress would be pressed and cleaned, I was told yes. When I went for the final fitting, the straps were too loose, but I was told that they did it on purpose (My mom ended up fixing them). When I got home with the dress and my mom looked it over, she noticed a black line on it. I called David's Bridal to inquire about this and was told that they did not press or clean it because if they did that for every wedding dress, they'd never get any done. I took the dress back because they said they would clean the spot and press it. They did clean the spot but they did not press it. My Mom ended up doing that too... So be careful, every David's Bridal could be different depending on the staff...

My initial appointment when I purchased my wedding dress was a positive experience. Lauren R. was my consultant. She seemed genuinely interested in helping me find the perfect gown and really listened to what I did and did not want in a dress. I worked with the alterations manager on my first visit and at my first fitting appointment and she seemed knowledgeable and very helpful.
Unfortunately, it didn't seem like the store employees were on the same page. One employee would give me information regarding fitting timelines or when to bring my dress to be steamed and then when the time to make the appointment rolled around I would get another employee that acted like that wasn't how things worked at all. One of my bridesmaids had her dress come in the wrong size and the clerk argued with her that the dress wasn't even available in the size she had tried on. Needless to say she took the dress to another store for alterations.
David's Bridal also collects information on the first visit that they sell to many wedding vendors. I offer this as a warning because I'd imagine you can opt out of this and I realize I should have read the paperwork more carefully. I had phone calls from 5-10 florists, tuxedo shops, etc. and they will tell you that DB gave them your number. David's Bridal themselves calls frequently to let you know it's time to come for bridesmaid dresses, veil, flower girl dress, etc.
David's Bridal is a low cost option for wedding dresses, but it is very much a get what you pay for situation. In the end the expensive alterations for my dress, poor service, and having my phone number sold made this a poor value overall. I would not recommend this store to future brides.

I found my ideal wedding dress at David's Bridal! I could not have been happier with my dress choice. However, not sure that I'd want to go to David's Bridal again. I felt that I got the run around alot. They never had anything in the store, accessory wise, and I had to order everything. My sash was ordered and supposed to be in within two weeks, then I got a call saying it would be guaranteed in two days before my wedding. Luckily it came in the two weeks they had said, however, I did not need the added stress that it may not be in until very close to my wedding date...while I wanted to have it on my dress when altered. Overall I was satisified, just feel that they could be a bit more professional.

I had a wonderful experience at David's. My dress was beautiful, service was great and the price couldn't be beat. I did end up having it altered somewhere else because their prices for that seemed too high for me.

David's Bridal is the place to go for an affordable wedding dress, but don't expect great service. We had an appointment set for 6:00 pm to come in and try bridal party dresses - they said someone would be with us in a moment. 45 minutes later, we were still waiting for SOMEONE to help us get a fitting room. Situations like this happened multiple times, where we had an appointment but still ended up waiting for long periods of time. Why set the appointment?
GUEST

Overall I was happy, but they gave one of the bridemaids trouble about exchanging sizes, when they had the same dress in stock.
GUEST

David's Bridal is a very nice store with very good customer service. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for, for an amazingly good deal. My wedding gown had a snag under the zipper, and they knocked off a couple hundred dollars for it, then fixed it themselves. It was a great experience. I did, however, rate them low in flexibility. This is because it was very hard for them to schedule my fittings because they were extremely overbooked.

I loved my dress!! The staff was helpful, but I would not go there for alterations, I believe they charge too much. I went to a small tailor and she did an excellent job for much less!

Our experience at David's Bridal was very good! The associate that worked with us was very patient and knowledgeable of the dress stock. We bought my dress, all of the bridesmaids' dresses, and my mother's dress there. She found us amazing deals and talked us through everything! The dresses even arrived well before the date quoted to us! We were very satisfied with this experience. :)
GUEST

The dress was beautiful and I did get a good deal on it. It was the first one I tried on of about 5 and I just fell in love with it. What I was not so happy about was all of the alterations I ended up having to get. The dress had a corset and when I tried it on the first time the girl that helped me did not cinch it up extremely tightly so it looked like it fit. When I had my fitting they put it on properly and it just hung on me. I bought it early so my alterations were not covered and I had to pay over $300 to have it taken in. The alterations team was great, but if I had been fitted properly to begin with I could have saved a lot of money.

I had Heather as my consultant. She was amazing, and knew a lot about dresses and how to find what you're looking for. My ceremony was supposed to be in Florida, and she found a great dress for that venue. But the plans changed and we had it in Ohio, I went back to find another dress. And we found an amazing dress that was on sale from 799 to 249!!! It was perfect, and everyone raved on how unique and beautiful the dress was. Only problem I had with Davids was trying to get a hold of anyone on the phone, it either rang and rang or I was put on hold for minutes. Also, the alterations are quite expensive, I would suggest finding another place if you're trying to save money.

I asked my mother and my fiancee to go with me to look at dresses fr the first time. I just wanted to get an idea of what he and I liked. I went into David's Bridal with a list of style numbers that I had found online. The employee recommended that I try on some empire style dresses, but I was sure that I did not want an empire dress. Five minutes after entering the store, my mom pointed out a dress on a mannequin and insisted that I try it on, only it was an empire dress. I did as she asked and tried it on first. They both LOVED it. I proceeded to try on all of the styles I had picked out online. They still liked the one from the mannequin the best. Very simple, yet elegant. It seemed to be the perfect dress. So, needless to say, there was only one wedding dress shopping trip. They packaged the dress up for us and we were on our way. Everyone was very professional and helpful. I would tell any bride-to-be, take the people who work in the store's recommendations. They know what style dresses will be mopst flattering to you. They do this everyday. You will only be doing it once, hopefully.
GUEST

I loved that David's Bridal had every style of dress in just about every size! Other dress shops only carry one or two sizes and being a size 2/4 and trying on a 12 didn't allow me to see how the dress actually fit. I LOVED seeing how my dress fit me.
The alteration people are the worst to deal with though! They always try to convince you in to getting two or more sizes too big so you have to come in for an alteration. Their alteration prices are rediculous and the seemstresses don't seen qualified.
Overall, I loved my experience with David's Bridal while dress shopping, just stear clear of the alteration department!
GUEST

David's Bridal was great! Everyone was so helpful. My only complaint was the cost of alterations. All I needed was a bustle, and it cost about $125!!! Ridiculous! Other than that, everyone looked great, bridesmaids and all.
GUEST

My dress was absolutely amazing! The people that work there were wonderful, and catered to my every need, and answered all questions we had.
GUEST

David's Bridal was very accomodating. I had lost weight and needed a dress 2 sizes smaller-they didn't hesitate to order another one in a smaller size. I have heard horror stories regarding DB but never received anything but good service!
GUEST

My dress was inexpensive and looked great. My bridesmaids received a discount on thier dresses because I ordered mine from them. Easy and painless shopping.
GUEST

got bridesmaids dresses and shoes here and my jewelry. Dresses were inexpensive.

I found my dress online and went in to order it. The sales staff was helpful and courteous. My dress needed little alterations but my veil needed to be shortened from a cathedral length to an elbow length. I had thought that I paid for it and the seamstress said that I could bring in the receipt when I came in to pick it up or just pay in full when I came back. I didn't have a receipt and went to pick it up, paid and when I took my veil home, no alterations had been made. I had to have a seamstress alter it a week before the wedding.

I had a generally good experience with David's in North Olmsted. The sales staff was helpful, did not push anything extra on me, etc. The only complaint that I have is with the alterations department. The manager of the department was nice and helpful, but the woman who actually fitted me and did the sewing, did not do a very good job. When I went back to try on my dress, the hem in the back was about 3" off the floor when the dress was bustled. The dress was also still too big on me, to which the manager claimed I must have lost weight. I hadn't and she discovered that to be so when I was remeasured and was the exact same size. So, they did fix the bustle and when I went back there a second time to get my dress it was fixed, but missing one button which the seamstress attached right then. This would have been no big deal except that we bought the dress near my parents house and I lived in Rhode Island at the time. I had to travel back to Ohio an extra time to get fitted.

My wedding dress was perfect and with in my price range. They did a wonderful job on my alterations. Everyone at the store was very nice and helpful.
GUEST

Overall I had a good experience, but the salesperson that was supposed to help me out was a little unprofessional. Other than that, I did not have any problems at all.
GUEST

Wonderful girls, all so helpful. Very patient, would highly recommend!!!

One lady was very nice, her name was Tina, but the rest of the employees were rude and clueless. Honestly, I regret I ever stepped into that store. My dress was gorgeous, but the rudeness of the employees managed to ruin all the beauty of the preparations.

The dress I purchased from David's Bridal was fabulous, everything I ever wanted. Heather, the consultant at David's that I worked with was a great help. I felt that they got a little pushy when it came to getting my bridesmaids dresses ordered. I received several phone calls requesting that I have the remaining bridesmaids get their orders in even though at the time the wedding was still 9 months away. I also made the mistake of having my alterations done at David's. I went in for my 1st fitting and we determined that I needed to take the dress up and have it bustled. When I went back about a month later they determined that the dress was still too long and they would take it up more by adding additional loops to my bustle. My bustle started out with 9 loops and when my mom went to pick the dress up they had added 13 more loops for a total of 22! I live about 3 hours from the store which is why I was not able to go the 2nd time to pick up the dress. As my mom is driving the dress to me I get a call from the alterations department stating they just realized they did not finish altering my dress and there were still 3 pins left in my dress. They explained that it was not a big deal and that I would be able to drop the dress off at a store near my house and they would be able to finish the alterations while I wait. The next day I took the dress to a local store and was told by the head of alteration she had no idea what they had done to my dress or how to finish it. At that point it was 3 days until my wedding and the woman at the local store informed me the only way to fix the dress would be to take everything out that the original store had done and start over. The situation was more stress than I could handled, but ended well. She was able to fix the dress and the way she redid the bustle ended up looking better than what the 1st store had done anyways.

I wanted a gown for an economic price and designer labels did not matter to me. David's Bridal was perfect. I used the online component of www.davidsbridal.com to find the dress I wanted, took the picture into the store and the salesclerks were very helpful in finding the dress and gathering all accessories I needed to compliment my look. Because I did most of the work by searching online, and I did not need them to respond regarding my dress, they did not get a 5 star rating. Otherwise, I would definitely work with them again.

Originally I DID NOT want to use Davids for my dress but I saw it in a magazine & knew that it was THE ONE. The only downside... it was from, where else, DAVIDS BRIDAL. Anyways, I tried on several others, just to be sure, & still chose the original. My consultant, Shanna (I think) was wonderful. However, the alteration department was a whole nother story. I would highly recommend getting this done somewhere else. Even if you make an appointment, they will take walk ins before you & make you wait. I waited atleast 1 hour one time for a fitting. In the end, I wasnt thrilled with the end results but there was not much we could do. My dress was very simple & any flaw was easily seen. I think this could have been avoided if I had gone somewhere else. Davids is a great choice for girls that are on a budget or dont want to spend a ton on their dress.

not very flexible with fittings but great dress for the price

It was amazing to work with the David's Bridal in North Olmsted. I had visited the David's bridal in Dublin, Ohio while home visiting my parents and it was awful. When I went to the North Olmsted location the experience was completly different. They were so willing to work with me and understood that I didn't want to try on dresses that were 3-8 sizes too small. I wanted to try on dresses that fit and that I could actually see how it looked on me. Overall a great experience!

I has same problem as other poster with alterations. too much money! We like dresses though.

i was able to get everything i needed for a good price. the staff was very friendly and helped my bridesmaids and i with everything.

I saw a dress that I liked in a bridal magazine. It was one of the dresses from David's Bridal. First, I went with the ivory because they did not have the white dress. Later, I decided that I wanted the white dress because I did not like it in ivory. They allowed me to exchange the dress without any problems. I am so happy I was able to get the white dress! The dress was only $300, so I think I got a pretty good deal! I also bought my shoes and the slip to go under my dress here. David's Bridal provides great customer service!

I found my perfect wedding dress at David's Bridal. The staff was very helpful.

There is nothing terribly exciting about David's Bridal. The quanity of dresses and sizes made it very easy to pick out my bridal gown and bridesmaid dresses. The main reason I went through David's was that I had bridesmaids in many locations around the US and it was easy for them to go to the closest store and try own their dresses instead of ordering it from somewhere and having it shipped without ever trying it on. I went to many different bridal stores before picking out my dress and I thought David's made it fairly easy.
GUEST

All my bridesmaids got their dresses from here. They were beautiful and a great price but the girls had weird experiences at their fittings. The saleswoman that helped us was awesome. However, I ordered tiaras for my flower girls, but they took forever to get me the last one. And when I had waited for over the time it should have taken, the lady was rude.
GUEST

This retailer offers an excellent selection. We loved that each dress was available in a wide range of sizes so that all of my bridal party could try each dress on before making a decision.
GUEST

I got a beautiful dress from here, but dealing with the people was terrible. The only person that was any help was the woman who was did my alterations.. She was the only person who made getting my dress a decent experience. The sales woman were rude, consending to me and my family and party. When I had to get my undergarments, the woman totally ignored me for a bigger commission. THe woman doing the alterations ended up helping me that when it was time to make alterations. My mom had issues as well with her dress. It was beautiful but they were trying to rip her off by giving her a display that had unraveled strings.

This David's Bridal is old and outdated, but if you can get past that and the unprofessional assistants, it is a great value for the money. The other main plus is that you are able to try on your dress in your size in the store that day! Other bridal shops may only have one dress in a sample size (usually a 4 or 6) and if you're bigger (or smaller) than that you'd have no idea what it would look like on you. The prices are great here as well. I ordered my bridal dress as well as my bridesmaid dresses from them and they were really flexible when one of my bridesmaids became pregnant. They let us swap her regular dress for a maternity dress with no issues! I also bought shoes and a few of my bridesmaids had theirs dyed there with no problems, they looked great. Also bought my undergarments from there which were a little pricey but they have coupons you can use there. They have flowergirl dresses too that coordinate with your colors with a colored sash, very cute!
GUEST

Rude and dampering of an exciting time. Rather than a warm welcome, i was greeted with no hello, just "if you wanted to try a dress on you should have made an appointment." when i said i just came to look, "whatever". However, this was a great price for the dress.

David's Bridal had a good selection of affordable bridesmaid dresses so the girls all agreed to get matching gowns here. The only surprise came when the alterations cost as much as the dresses themselves. They still looked great and everything was on time.
