I loved David's Bridal for my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses. I got a dress that was being discontinued so it was on clearance, and it was very unique.

I went to Davids Bridal for my dress because I found a beautiful dress online that I just had to try on. When I got to David's Ann helped me with everything I needed. She went to get the dress, put it on me and it fit perfectly. I was so happy. I didn't try on another dress. Ann was there every step of the way, to help with my veil, shoes, and was awsome when my girls came in to try on their dresses. She was friendly, polite and very professional. The only reason I give them 4 stars on professionalism is because sometimes we would stand there for awhile to wait for someone to help us or acknowledge that we were there.

Everyone was very helpful with my alterations for my bussell and they did a great job pressing and steaming my dress for my wedding day. I had no problems what so ever! Ann even called me a few days before my wedding to wish me well.

The service was great. I would have liked the option to purchase my dress in ivory, and it was not available. I don't think that reflects poorly on the location though, they did a fantastic job!

They made no attempt to make us feel important at all.

My wife found an awesome wedding dress here, on 75% clearance, and exactly what she wanted. She had to be one of the lucky ones, finding that in her size, it was perfect. That is all she ended up buying there, and they hounded her about adjustments and everything else for it, even after she told them no. The bridesmaids' dresses came from here too, and they had less issues. Everything went smoothly, even for the one bridesmaid who waited too long to order hers.

I bought accessories at this David's location as well as had my alterations done. They did the alterations well, allowed me to come in and try on my dress when I was nearby and worried about it fitting and were friendly every time I was in the store.

My bridesmaids got their attire at David's and it was great with one of them out of state. They all got different dresses in the same color and it was nice knowing the color would be consistent. They have a wide selection of styles for every body type too. Dresses are a bit pricey.

There was a great selection of dresses, however the sales lady was really pushy with the dresses that she would make more money off of.

I used David's in Okemos, MI for my dress and my bridesmaids dresses.

My dress was purchased in Arizona and then shipped to MI. First, I thought I could order the dress in AZ and have it shipped to the store in MI, but they don't do that. The dress was gorgeous and luckily needed minimal alterations, but they had to redo the bustle twice, the last time was the day before the wedding! I was almost late to the rehearsal because I was waiting for them to finish my dress. They did a good job, but in retrospect I wouldn't pick a very complicated bustle. Each seamstress seemed to know what they were doing but I had a different seamstress each time which made things complicated.

My bridesmaids dresses were beautiful, the girls loved them. My only issue was that each girl had shoes dyed-to-match and each pair of shoes was a different color. My sister had them dye hers 4 times until it remotely looked like the color of the dress. This wasn't a tragedy since the dresses were long, but still disappointing. The color also rubbed off on their feet and even their hands just taking the shoes out of the box.

I agree, you get what you pay for at david's. I wouldn't say do not go there based on my experience, but know ahead of time what you'll get.

David's bridal is good for the cost but you get what you pay for. My dress was great but I would not recommend having them alter your dress. It is extremely expensive to have them alter it and they did not do a very good job.

Our sales person was fantastic, and David's was the only dress shopping experience I enjoyed. They made everything easy. A little expensive, but that's to be expected.

I went to several different David's Bridal locations, in order to take a few different family members with me. The one I ended up ordering my dress from was in Okemos, MI. I was very pleased with the staff there. I purchased he dress during one of their sales AND was just in time because the dress I ordered had been discontinued, so I was able to get a brand new dress ordered and get another discount. Typically, you get the dress off-the-rack, but since it was discontinued, they ordered me one while they still had the fabric for it.
The store I went to closer to the wedding was in Fort Gratiot, MI. I had my alterations done here. Alterations were abit pricey, but they were done at the time they said they would be. My dress was pressed and hung very nicely and they even straightened out my veil and pressed a wrap for me that I bought the day I picked up my gown from alterations. I had gone to this store several times for my MOH gown and to look for a MOB gown. We didn't get the MOB gown from David's, but the other girls got their dresses from a David's store and we were very pleased with them.
My complaint with David's was too many phone calls. My mother was considering a dress at the store, but wanted to look elsewhere and in the meantime, David's kept calling me to remind me that we needed to order her dress soon if that was the one she wanted. Let me say that they were always pleasant on the phone or in messages, but they were calling once a week - not a good idea to call the bride once a week leading up to the wedding.
Otherwise, I loved my dress and my girls were very happy with theirs. Plus, we took advantage of the discount at MW Tux AND the vests matched wonderfully (truffle).

the girl who took me in and had me try on dresses was very attentive. i think her name was kirsten but she took me all over the store, she found me a beautiful veil and she even helped me find the perfect dress on the first day of looking!! the price was amazing as well my dress was less than 600$ and we got the groom's tux for free it was perfect!

Overall, I had a good experience with David's Bridal. They have a large selection of beautiful dresses for a good price in comparison with most bridal gowns. I did have a consultant my first time there who was very pushy and really tried to pressure me to buy right away. I requested a different consultant for my second trip and had a much better experience!

The first lady that was assigned to help us just walked around with a tiara on her head talking to other girls and not giving us any assistance. It was very discouraging and disrespectful. Everyone else there, though, was of great help and very professional. They made it a great experience.

David's bridal is a very professional place that sells wedding attire. It's best to make an appointment (in case all sales associates are busy when you arrive) but they will work with you to find your special dress. My experience was positive, I was able to try dresses on at my own leisure without annoying or opinionated salesman. They will do all the work, you just have to put the dresses on and take them off.

debbie was our salesperson. she did a great job helping us narrow down what we were looking for. she worked with each girl until they felt comfortable. everyone looked beautiful with her help. very clean location as well!

They worked well with me and my needs, being that I was pregnant they were very flexible in my fitting time especially since the wedding was planned in two months. I was very happy with not only my dress, but they also provided the bridesmaids dresses, the junior bridesmaids dress, and the mother-of-the grooms dress and all were fabulous.

My dress was beautiful!!!! It was just as I imagined it. I found the perfect dress and the perfet veil. Even if I didn't make an appointment the staff always remembered my name and answered all of my questions. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a dress I would only wear once and it was beautiful and affordable.

I bought my wedding dress from David's Bridal. I came in looking at the $99 sale dresses, it was the only reason I was in the store. I had a hard time convincing the woman helping me that that was my interest. While I understand she has a job and must try to get me to look at other dresses in the store, she was pushy and very close to loosing any chance of a sale. When I left the salesperson and looked for dresses on my own- I found it. When you buy your dress you can save 15% on accessories. I began to look at veils. When I had picked mine out it turned out to be on clearance as it was the last in stock and would not be reordered. When I got up to the register the veil was much more expensive and when I asked they took it back to check it out but came back with a completely different veil.

I may have found the perfect dress, but I would never go back.

I felt pressured to buy my dress (because the sale would end) and I did not have the sole attention of the consultant. I was left waiting for her to return to help me. I did not feel comfortable asking questions. I recommend shopping around before making you decision.

They were very helpful. Prices were resonable but the quality of the dresses were not top notch. If you are looking for budget dresses, it's a great place. You get what you pay for.

I loved working with David's Bridal. My consultant, Amy, was very friendly and when I told her what I was looking for she knew exactly what I was talking about. The second dress I tried on was the one I purchased. It was also great to be able to try on the dress in the right size, with shoes, and jewelry. I had been to several other places and David's was by far the best experience I had. I ended up getting my dress, shoes, veil, undergarments, and had the alterations done at Davids. No complaints, it was a great experience.

Excellent service. The okemos store helped me find the perfect dress the first time I was in there and did not pressure or rush my decision. My only caution is to look around for crinolin, shoes, and other accessories because they do push those at the time of your dress purchase. Often they are cheaper elsewhere (also check theknot.com for some great "used" items).

DISASTER AREA! AVIOD AT ALL COSTS!

I ordered my bridesmaid's dresses at David's only because I liked the mix and match tops and bottoms that Patty's didnt offer. There was so much that went wrong it was ridiculous. We were called and notified that 2 of the dresses were in so we drove the 45 minutes to get them, when we got there, the dresses WERE NOT IN and we made the trip for nothing. One of my bridesmaids paid some in advance for her dress, and was there to make the remaining payment and they had no record of the previous payment. It was a disaster, I probably went there between 15-20 times over a 2 month period. It was ridiculous!

I had to visit many different Davids Bridals for all of my bridesmaids but this is where I bought my dress and picked out the bridesmaid dresses. This was also the best customer service of any I visited. They really took care of me and did not presure me to buy anything I didn't want at the time.

David's a great place to find a wedding dress on a budget. I highly recommend using David's Bridal, just be patient while trying on LOTS of dresses.

I found the perfect wedding dress for me at David's Bridal and absolutely loved it. It didn't take long for me to search for it and the staff were helpful with trying it on and everything. I had them alter the dress for me as well and it came out perfect. Overall good service. Lots of beautiful dresses for those of us on a budget:)

The sales people were kind of snotty, and acted like we did not know what we were doing. Which it was my first wedding, so I really didn't know what I was doing, but still, you should not act like that towards a customer!

This store was not as busy as other stores I had visited previous to ordering my dress. I had a hard time nailing down a sales associate to try on dresses, but once I made my purchase the rest of the process was great. The alterations department was great with any little request I had about my dress. On several occasions the dress had to be taken in, and they had no problems with this. They also made sure that my dress was ready for the day of the wedding. They wanted to make sure that it was nicely pressed and upon the purchase of the gown, they quickly scheduled that appointment to ensure it was not forgotten. The cost of the dress was exception including all the alterations that were needed. Overall they still provided good service for being a national chain.

I loved my dress from David’s bridal. The price was right and the service was excellent. I felt very comfortable going into the store several different times and trying on any dresses I wanted to. I had visited other bridal shops and they would only have one size of each dress so you had to either squeeze yourself into it, or try a dress that was too big on. David’s had most sizes available.

David's Bridal had a wide variety of wedding dresses at a resonable cost. My dress was beautiul and top quality. One area that I wished for better quality was alterations. Due to a large chest size and small waste my dress wrinkled in the middle and did not stay up. I asked if this would be a concern when trying on the dress and the sales associate explained that it would be okay, it was not. I should have been advised to purchase a dress with straps.

My mom and I drove to Okemos since the David's Bridal in Grand Rapids wasn't open yet. They were very helpful and not at all pushy. I liked this one better than the one in Grand Rapids, not as busy at all. Got a beautiful dress that was on sale. My bridesmaid dresses came from the David's in GR. It is nice they give you a discount for buying your wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses at the same place.
