Great dresses and great service!!!
GUEST

This store was great. I found my dress and the bridal parties dresses all in 1 1/2 hours...They were very helpful and flexible. The price for alterations was a bit much, but those are the prices you have to pay to look beautiful....all in all I liked the store and Zoey was the best to work with.

Absolutely awful establishment. If your looking for an inexpensive wedding dress Davids Bridal is an option but be prepared to work with some of the most unprofessional yet arrogant people you could ever imagine. I was completely caught off guard when I met with the "alterations manager" at David's Bridal in Paramus NJ. I had purchased my dress months before at their store and had decided that I'd like to slightly alter the neckline to a sweetheart. The "manager" basically asked me what I was doing there after I had called ahead and spoke with her several times and advised I was coming in to discuss the neclkine alteration. She had me searching thru racks of thousands of dresses to locate my dress, (was unprepared for our appointment and quite frankly had no interest in meeting with me in the first place). Once i located my dress, she was extremely unhelpful in helping me obtain my desired request and told me that "it has been a long day and she was ready to go home". I couldnt believe that this was coming out of the mouth of a manager of a bridal store. I wound up keeping my dress, and took it to another tailor in the area Sheila's Tailoring in Allendale, NJ (whom is amazing by the way) and she did my neckline perfectly. Following this incident, I wrote a letter to the David's Bridal Corporate Office and never even got an email of acknowledgement. Very dissapointing and would never recommend Davids Bridal to anyone.

Excellence Service. Justine was my sales contact. She made my wedding gown shopping experience unique. Prices were reasonable and service was just what I was looking for. Would definitely recondite this store to anybody. Thanks

My first time there was great. This girl brought me a few dresses and in less then an hour had the wedding dress of my dreams. However, the problem came afterwards. My underskirt started to fall apart days before the wedding even though i only tried it on once, the beading on the dress started to fall apart, the dress wasn't done on the day and time they told me, the dress was dirty when i went to pick it up and wasn't pressed, the put loops on the train so that i could dance by making the dress shorter...it looked awful and took away from the dress. i couldnt even remove them or else there would be a hole left behind. the manager lied to my face, my husband and my mothers face and didn't care at all. at first shhe pretended to not even be the manager! horrible experience, had me in tears days before my wedding on the same day i had finals at college. the affordable pricing is not worth the stress.

My entire wedding party incuding both of my wedding dreses were purchased at David's Bridal. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They provided quality service, beautiful selection of wedding and bridesmaid dresses and best of all very affordable. I am very satisfied with my experience.
GUEST

They were so help helpfull and patient. They helpeed me find the dress of my dreams. The price was amazing. I got an amazing dress for half the price.
GUEST

I got my wedding dress here for a great deal. They have certain styles that will be discountinued and they will put them on sale for sooooooooo cheap! My dress was originally $800 but it was the only one left and I got it for about $100. Waiting for the sales is so WORTH IT!
GUEST

You can get a good deal at Davids Bridal, however sometimes I wondered if the service was actually worth it. The staff pushes you to make a decision the first time you go (since they"re commissioned) and once you purchase the dress you get the run around. They rushed me through my fitting, because they were running late with appointments. My overall experience with them just wasn't great. I went to the Paramus location, however the Wayne is not much better. The staff needs to be on the same page and they need some customer service training.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!! That is really the only word I can even use to describe the service i received and how i was treated. Let me start by saying that I ended my bridal gown shopping experience...crying!
I had a 7:30pm appointment and arrived right on time. I was told that my attendant, sheila, would be right with me. I sat waiting for 30 minutes while sheila did who knows what. When i was finally brought upstairs i was made to wait another 15 minutes for her to clean out 2 dresses in the dressing room that were left there from the bride before me. I was instructed to pick out a corset and shoes which i "needed" to try on the dresses. After going back and forth with her maybe 3 times about the fact that I did not need or want shoes OR a corset at this time she finally left that alone. She then asked me which dress I came in to try on. I explained to her that i did not know what sort of dress i was looking for and that i was open to trying a few different kinds. The only specification i made was that i liked a simple look and did not want to be very poofy. She told me I needed to pick one dress because she didnt have time for me to try on multiple dresses.. this really upset me especially due to the fact that I waited 45 minutes before I was even helped. I showed sheila something simple and a-line. She then asked me my size. When i told her i was a size 22 she looked me up and down and shook her head then told me "well..our sizes run small" bacially implying that i was bigger than i said i was to her. I told her that i would not but a dress that i could not try on in my size and to please bring me something simple in a size 22. I was brought one dress while was so big and poofy im not even sure i would have been able to fit through the church doors. If she MADE me pick out a type of dress.. WHY would she bring me something completely different....OH YEA...IT WAS ALSO A SIZE 24. Which by the way couldnt even stay up on its own, it was so big. I would have told her i didnt like the dress or size but i couldnt find her because she was with ANOTHER BRIDE! My friend who was with me went to get me the other dress that had been left for me on a near by rack which was again the wrong size and style. We did not have the hanger or bag of the first dress with us and with my consultant no where to be found, we left the dress on the floor outside.. Sheila (without knocking or even peeking in the room) swings open my door to the dressing room to scold me for not haning up the dress while I AM NAKED and there are men right outside the dressing room helping a young family member pick out a sweet 16 gown. I was mortified. I asked her to shut the door while i covered my breasts with my hands and she told me once again and i need to hang up the dress when i am finished with it. It was almost 30 seconds of time where the door was completely open and i was naked besides my panties. After this i was completely done with her, the store and my horrible experience. I went downstairs and told the manager who was very nice and appologetic... but that doesnt take away the horrible dress buying experience i had, the fact that i was seen naked by all who were near and that i was told i look like i am a bigger size and made to cry at the end of all of this. I can never step foot in this place again. They lost a bride, my mother, my fiance's mother and step mother and 7 bridesmaids!!! HORRIBLE!

Davids Bridal has a wide selection of gowns at a reasonible price - however, I found their services (before & after I bought the dress) a bit shakey. I originally had a sales women who was pushing for me to to decide on my first visit. And when I wanted to return on a day she was off she became a bit rude. When it came to the fittings and the alterations - I belive they were not very flexible to accomodate when I was available and the price of the alterations were out of control. Their sales staff could use some Customer Service training

Rita was great!!!!! She was honest and caring to my needs. She was a great help and wonderful sales person. If your heading to Davids Bridal in Paramus on Rt. 4 see Rita for all of your wedding needs!!!!

I was VERY happy with my wedding gown and my bridesmaids' dresses. It was definitely a great value and it was all what I would have picked anyway even if I was at an expensive designer store. The staff at this store was really helpful. I went to a few other David's Bridal stores, and had totally different experiences there where I was ignored and not helped at all. However, I was very happy with everyone at the Paramus store. One thing I did not like thought is that they had very specific days and times where I could come in for my fittings which was not too accommodating for my schedule.

I bought my dress from David's Bridal in Paramus. I LOVED the wedding dress (from the Oleg Cassini line) and the fact that it didn't cost a fortune. I got some many compliments on the dress and many people thought it was from a very expensive designer. The dresses at David's Bridal are definitely worth considering - they are affordable and you can try them on in the store in your size. They are much less pretentious than your average bridal salon. While I loved the dress and the process to purchase it, alterations were a pain and the people not very professional. It took 3 attempts to have my dress properly shortened. Plus, they were very inflexible with the days I could come for the first fitting and subsequent alterations. Since I work in NYC, this created a challenge. Alterations are also quite expensive, so factor this in to the cost of your dress in advance or you will wind up spending much more than you expected.I would go to David's Bridal again, but I think improvements are needed in the alterations department.
GUEST

Davids Bridal is an original and wonderful store. I went to many other stores to see wedding dresses and only Davids Bridal had the dress of my dreams at a reasonable price. My dress was breath taking and affordable. I loved Davids Bridal! :)
GUEST

Great dress for the price. I wasn't in the market for a $4000 dress so this was perfect.

David's Bridal gets knocked a lot for quality of service, but the David's Bridal in Paramus is the best at customer service of any of the outlets in the NY/NJ area. As a recent bridesmaid, I went to the store in Edison and was horrified by the dirty fitting rooms and the un-helpful attitude of some of the people working there. However, the Paramus store is very clean, and my bridesmaids got a lot of personal attention from a VERY nice saleswoman there. My bridesmaids actually all loved one particular dress from David's- go figure.
GUEST

The whole dress-buying experience for me was a joy. The gals at David's Bridal on Route 4 in Paramus were outstanding in their customer service....no pressure to buy and very low-key in their approach. I am not one who responds well to the sort of place that tends to be pushy, I mean who is, and I can't thank them enough for all their help. I wound up getting the very first dress I tried on if you can believe it. Francesca, in alterations, was top-knotch in her trade and I would say to any bride-to-be to ask for her when it comes time for your fitting. She is a pro! I absolutely loved my dress and am only sorry that I can't wear it more often! :) And...you really get great quality for a reasonable price. It is absolutely worth it for you to take a look there...check out their website too as they offer anything and everything a bride-to-be needs!
GUEST

The only issue I had with David's Bridal was the alteration...They were supposed to check the beading on my dress while working on the bustle, but when I got there, it wasn't done. However, the seamstress fixed it within 5 minutes!
GUEST

I think that if I make an appointment for my bridal party, the staff should cater to them. This did not happen and I was very disappointed!
GUEST

The employees were helpful. My Maid of Honors dress had to go back twice because the alterations kept getting messed up. Would not recommend the DavidÂ’s bridal in Long Island. Employees there were mean and not helpful at all. Paramus was a better choice.
GUEST

If you look carefully, David's has a lot of really nice options for any bride. I went to David's simply to get an idea of what style I'd like and ended up walking out with a DREAM dress! It's a poor-girl's Kleinfeld's, but there's nothing wrong with that! The tailoring department was terrific. The head tailor, Saida, is especially talented and top-notch. The physical space of the Paramus store itself leaves much to be desired, but there are treasures to be found once you get past the worn leather sofas and tired, winding staircases.
GUEST

I loved the dress that I bought BUT they made me purchase it 16 weeks in advance and then it came in 2 weeks after I purchased it. This annoyed me because I didn't want to spend needless money on tailoring when I could have just bought one that fit better closer to the wedding date. Also, one of my bridesmaid's dresses fell apart during the reception.
GUEST

I bought my wedding dress at David's bridal and it was beautiful and people thought I paid thousands for it when it only cost about $700.00 I also bought all the bridesmaids dresses, the flower girl dresses and my wedding invitations were done at davidsbridal.com. All of the dresses were gorgeous, but we had a few minor problems with ordering and receiving the right dresses. Finally everything was sorted out in plenty of time for the wedding. The only thing I would recommend is not to get your dress altered at davids bridal because that's where they make all their money back and charge you so much more than bringing to a private seamstress. Other than that everything was great and you can't go wrong with their great deals!
GUEST

Had a good selection, and was able to special-order. I got a good amount of personal attention and was able to find a good deal on a great dress.
GUEST

I thought the staff at this location was great. I know they see "brides-to-be" all day long, and they still seemed genuinely excited for me! They gave excellent advice on my dress, shoes, and undergarments.

I was married where my parents live, and David's Bridal, and specifically the tailor Aisha, could not have been more accommodating. She made time for me during the holiday season to do my fittings and made time the day before the wedding, since I was out of town all other times. I could not have been more pleased with the end product and the cost.
GUEST

The wedding consultant was very helping in helping me find my dress but the cashier was a total nightmare, she was not only nasty, when I asked to purchase a blusher veil to match my 200 dollar veil she rolled both of them up into a ball and shoved in back into the bag as if she was giving it away to me to for free...total unprofessional and nasty
GUEST

Only affordable wedding dresses and bridesmaid. Customer service is HORRID!!! Alterations are EXPENSIVE!!! $285 for my dress!!!!!!
GUEST

I got my dress at davids bridal. looked online first, seen it, loved it, went there, tried it on.. and went home with it. Fit perfectly.. no alterations.. nada.. it was great to get out of there so fast. my advice to you ladies out there.. STICK WITH UR FIRST INSTINCT!
GUEST

Sadly, this is where I found my dream dress. Getting the dress was fairly easy, since it seems that all they really care about is making the sale. Once it is paid for, you are pretty much on your own. Alterations were over priced and the service was very non existant. I would only recommend getting your dress their, but take it elsewhere for alterations.
GUEST

I would not recommend David's Bridal. Although my dress was beautiful, their service and professionalism was terrible.I had to take my dress home, they do not store your dress at there store. they never followed up with me regarding my fittings and i never went back there for my fitting. My maid of honors dress was not in stock when she went to order it since it was a prom dress and NO ONE told her that. She had to get it from a different David's Bridal location and the Paramus store wouldnt even call the other stores to get it shipped for her. I heard terrible things with about them but I chose to go there anyway.
GUEST

From the time I made an appointment until I walked out of the store with my dress in hand, everyone was courtious, professional, kind, and nice. The sales person was great. I must of tried on at least 10 different styles of dresses not including different accessories and sizes. She was patient and helped me pick out the best outfit from top to bottom.
GUEST

Davids Birdal worked with me on finding the right dress. I did not want a white dress and they had the perfect Ivory/champaign dress.
GUEST

It is was not for the price I would tell you it is not worth the hastle. But the price is so cheap and the dress's are really nice, so it makes it worth it. I would recomend getting your dress tailord some where else that is wehere all my problems started. They women that do your tailoring are rude. The never had my dress done when it was time for a fitting. They would have my dress for a month then when I went for my fitting I sat there for an hour and a half becuase she hadn't worked on it yet and there was no sorry or what can I do to make you happy it was sit and wait. So what I recommend is getting your dress for a great price there but go some where also for yout fitting it is not worth the haslte.
GUEST

First wedding dress I had ever tried on...and it was the one!!! It was perfect!
GUEST

They did not want to alter my brides maids dresses, or dye the shoes. When I ordered the dresses they told me that it was included and they would do it but when they came in my maids were told there wasnt enough time.
GUEST

Can I say "NEVER AGAIN!!" Not that I ever plan on getting remarried, but I would not recommend David's Bridal to anyone who is need of good service, attention and care. My wedding dress was ruined by an overzealous seamstress who hemmed my dress when it didn't need to be hemmed. My bridesmaids had to go all over the place to find thier gowns in the needed color. The saleswomen seemed disinterested and preoccupied. Never Again!!!
GUEST

At Davids bridal i found the perfect dress for my wedding and for my budget. Maybe they maybe are not very polite when you arrive but at the time you go to the dressing room, those girls are the best! they know what is going to work 4 u and what is not!
GUEST

As long as it is not a busy day most of the ladies there are very helpful. When I went there I told the lady helping me that I was looking for a bridal dress with a budget of $200, and my size. She took me to the sale rack, and I could not believe how nice the dresses were. They deppreciate as soon as a new season of clothing line comes in. So after trying on dresses within the price range and size I gave her. I found my dress after the 5th try. The original price was $699, and I bought this for $99. Good deal!
GUEST

I was promised a discount the first time I visited the store, however, after got back in couple days they made round eyes, said they know nothing about it and I had to pay the full price. The second time I visited them workers were quite reluctant to help me, each time i needed something I had to look around, wait until someone shows up.
GUEST

They were very helpful. They help you find what you are looking for. The only thing wrong was that they sent half my bridesmaid dresses to be dyed before everyone had gotten theirs. Sometimes dying colors can come out differnt for each batch of dye. So there was a possibiliy that the colors of the dressed would not be the same.
GUEST

Davids Bridal isn't bad for the price on the dress but there are some problems with it. First off when I picked my dress and told me to get a 1 tier veil. I did this and it didn't look good later. When I tried to return it, it was exchanges only and nothing else was nice at all! The manager at the time said they no what looks best for the dresses. Next it came to the flower girl dress, I was told to come 2-3 months before the wedding. My flower girl got measured and was told it would be 12 weeks to come in, and would only make it 3 days before my wedding. I had to go to a department store to get a beautiful gown. My Junior bridesmaid dress they knew I wanted and told me to wait since she would grow. I went to get it and couldn't find it. They told me to check the sales rack. Lucky for me they had one left in the size and color I needed. My mom's shoes and bag were dyed wrong. The manager at that time said it looked fine and looked fine in the light. We tested it and it was horrible. They gave my mom her money back and she went somewhere else. We found out that the person who dyes the shoes was out and had just anyone doing it.
GUEST

Absolutely love the dress that I brought! But I could've done without the people that worked there. Everything is written in stone, once you place an order. The alterations people are a mess, made me wait for hours, and in the end they hemmed my dress too much and to me it was too short, even after I told her not to take to much off the bottom. Returned my dress to me 3 days before my wedding, so it was too late to do anything about it! I guess that is the service you get with FREE alterations!
GUEST

Things went really well for me and my dress. I found it, it was perfect, and they were very helpful in getting the dress altered, finding me a veil that was perfect, the skirt underneath, it was all very one stop shopping with no stress. The alterations were done perfectly. I know brides who have 3 or 4 fittings. I had only one. My dress happened to have a corset top, so that made it easier to keep it perfectly fitted to me, but still, it was nice to have it over and done with and absolutely perfect. The price was also very good and because they had it in stock, I literally carried it home that day and didn't have to wait for it to be custom made (which also saves on the cost). Remember, ladies, this is one outfit that you will wear for one day of your life, no need to go THAT crazy about it, you can find something that makes you feel special without having it custom made.
GUEST

I got the dress that I wanted at a reasonable price, but was not thrilled with the service.
GUEST

Beware. Sales clerk will insist that you purchase the dress on the spot because it takes 6-8 weeks to get it. So I felt a little pressured considering that my wedding was 3 months away when I shopped for the dress. The dress, in fact, arrived a week later! While I liked it, I would have wanted more time to decide and look around. They were kind enough though to accept a return (merchandise credit) for the veil and tiara when I found something else that I liked at another store. I used the merchandise credit for the alteration and the pouch bag.

My dress was 600 and everyone thought it was $6000! My dress was gorgeous. The service I received at this David's Bridal was wonderful.
GUEST

I was able to get my dress at 80% off. The sales lady was nice enough to work with my budget. She did not discriminate me. Assisted me with all my needs. She was not pressing to sale, to pressure me. generally good service!
GUEST

I would NEVER use their alterations department again. They were rude, over priced AND they actually stained my gown!
GUEST

From the moment I started trying on my dresses, the staff made me feel like a princess. I was up on the pedestal and as happy as can be. Not only did my sales rep assist me, but when I finally thought I had "the dress" everyone started running for accessories to dress it up! My gown was superb and the fittings went smoothly. I would highly recommend David's Bridal!
GUEST

so helpful when trying on dresses. The extra dresses the attendant brought me turned out to be my choice. Loved it! Best value out there.
GUEST

okay, we all know that David's is not a full service exclusive bridal boutique--it's pretty much a bridal factory. You get what you pay for here. If you are looking for a decent dress and are on a tight budget, then David's is your place. If you spend more on a dress then I would go elsewhere.
GUEST

For my bridesmaids I chose a simple blue dress from David's. Everything worked out great. I particularly liked the availability of sizes so that the girls would not have to spend a lot on alterations.
GUEST

The sales were wonderful! although they could offer more modest dresses.
The quality and attention you will get is amazing. Be sure to check them out.
