I got my dress at David's Bridal in Henrietta. I really loved it and everyone thought it looked amazing. It was also helpful to use David's since all of my bridesmaids were from out of town, so we could order them at different stores and they would be the same. It also made matching items in my shade of blue (malibu) much easier. The staff was very helpful and the women in alterations were very lovely to deal with.

The only reason I decided to go with David's Bridal was because I knew that having people in the wedding that lived out of state would easily be able to match my colors I picked by going to a Davids Bridal near them. However, this Davids Bridal in Henrietta NY was not very helpful because when my MOH found the perfect dress, the staff there told us that it was too late to order it. After asking them to call a different Davids Bridal to see if they happened to have the dress, the staff states that they had already called some. After leaving, and almost deciding to go elsewhere, I tried calling several other Davids Bridals, one of which was in Pennsylvania. They were very friendly there and sent us the dress that my MOH wanted! Sad part is, they had never gotten called by the Davids Bridal in Henrietta to see if they had the dress we wanted. I guess if you want it done right, sometimes you just have to do it yourself!!

I bought my wedding dress from David's Bridal in Henrietta earlier this year. I tried several smaller boutiques first, but fell in love with one of their Signature Galina gowns the minute I tried it on. The staff is super helpful and will find you anything you need. David's has lots of sales and gives you discounts for other items you might need (bridesmaids dresses, accessories, etc) which means you don't have to spend as much as you would in a smaller shop!

I had scheduled and apt. w/Sandie at David Bridal last spring, not expecting to find my dress on my first outing. Sandie was wonderful – she asked me to show her a few dresses I was interested in, in the catalogue, she pulled those, and then asked if it was all right if she pulled a dress she had in mind, and thought I would look great in. I remember looking at the dress online, and it didn’t really catch my eye, it was not something I would have chosen on my own………….but it was perfect! They say that you just “know” when it’s the right dress – and it is true, I fell in love with the dress she chose for me and got married in it this last December. If you are visiting this location, ask to make your appointment with Sandie!

i got my who dress, veil, tiara, slip and my bridesmaids dresses from davids. they did a great job with the bridesmaides dresses but i was unhappy with my experience. when i tried on my dress the alterations lady kept on saying i would be a 2 but i was actually a 0 and i had to push on my lady that i could fit into a 0 dress and that we shouldnt order a 2. when i went to get my alterations they thought i didnt need it shortened until 3 days before my wedding and i was freaking out. i was not too happy they wanted me to pick up my dress at 7 the night before the wedding and i had told them about my rehearsal dinner and etc. but they managed to get it done on time but i still feel like i had to rush around when it shouldve been done right the first time. the other thing that stinks about davids is that you can not return anything even if you dont open the package ... i wish i went somewhere else.

I absolutely loved my dress, and the alternations manager was amazing. The customer service could have been better.

I am very pleased with my dress. It was my dream dress. I loved it. The women there to help are amazing. Very pleasant to work with and made me feel comfortable. The price of the dress was decent since I got it on a sale. The ONLY negative thing is the alterations. I spent over $350 and my dress wasnt altered correctly. It was still too long. I measured with the same heels i wore that day, but it still wasnt done right. I was very upset. And since it was too long my beautiful perfect dress got ruined since everyone kept stepping on the back (even when it was busteled) My dress tore and is currently in the closet.

Davids Bridal did an excellent job for me and my girls. Their prices were reasonable and they were very professional.

After hearing all the back-and-forth good and bad comments on Davids, I was pleasantly surprised at the service I received. Not only was it good, but it was good every single time I went in the store. As long as she was working, the same consultant who saw me on day one made sure that she took care of me every time I came in the store. (I was in a good half-dozen times, as allowing the bridesmaids to choose their own dresses meant several trips just for the sake of trying things on.) I was always treated like I was the only person in the store, and my consultant never tried to sell me anything more expensive than I wanted - in fact, she would point out different items (shoes and such) that got the job done for a much lower price than the sparkly, always featured items on mannequins and in the windows.
The store was the Henrietta store in Rochester, NY.

Lots of selection in dresses at all prices. My dress had a stain on it from someone's makeup so they cleaned it. Luckily I inspected it, it was still there. They they had to turn around and have it shipped from another store in that size, but it didn't quite fit the same so I had to have alterations done. In the end, it was the perfect dress but it was a little hassle to get there.

The dress was beautiful! The service was adequate.

3.5 stars because they didn’t really have that many $99 dresses. I almost bought my dress from craigslist, but then I went to David’s Bridal $99 sale. They had lots of dresses on sale, even though they weren’t all for $99. I had to make an appointment, and I didn’t really like how they arrange the process. I thought it was pretty hard to chose a dress that I wanted to see from their catalogue, especially since the pictures in their catalogue aren’t that clean. The dress I did get was one that I saw on a mannequin when I walked in. It was more than $99, but it was still on sale.

I didn’t think I would want something traditional until I went wedding dress shopping with my best friend. She tried on a dress and didn’t like it, but I loved it. I was so happy when she didn’t get it. Two good things about shopping at David’s Bridal is that they are open late, so I was able to bring my mother to the store after dinner and show her the dress. The other thing is that they have random sales, and I was able to get 50$ off my dress. Otherwise the store is like any other big department store.

Got my dress here for $99! It was the first dress I tried on but at the time it was like $500. I kept looking but came back and it was on sale. You can really find a good deal here. Service was great, but only if you have an appointment. Don't get your dress altered.

I was very happy with my dress and my girls' dresses and the cost was actually pretty decent. I was not so happy with the customer service. I was not told that my dress did not have a bustle until after I swiped my credit card and since the altering is extra, they then wanted to schedule that appointment. I didn't purchase my undergarments at the same time as my dress but they said they had everything in the computer that I could just call and pay over the phone when I was ready to order them, when I called they could not find any of the information, telling me I had to bring my dress back in and try everything on again - then I go in to do that and the woman says all of my info is right in the computer, that I had come out for nothing. My mom was told she only needed to put down a deposit to order her dress but then when she went to order it they told us she had to pay for the entire thing. Too many people telling you different things.

Absolutely LOVED my wedding dress from David's Bridal--I would wear it again if I could!! Our initial consultant, Lori, put us right at ease and found everything I was looking for. There was never a rushed feeling. She was calm and made things go very smoothly. The alteration shop ladies were very informative and made all the right changes to my dress. They made me feel comfortable and supplied me with hints, valuable information about my dress. They really know what they are doing!! I would just recommend going NOT on a weekend as it tends to be very crowded and you could get frustrated. Overall I purchases my dress, 3 bridesmaids dresses (ON SALE!!) and my mother's dress (also on sale) and they/we all looked stunning!!

I had my own personal assistant at the store helping me pick out my dress and she was SO nice and professional. She listened to what I wanted and only showed me gowns that met those requirements. We found the perfect dress in no time.

I really didn’t like the salesperson who helped me at David’s Bridal. I had the feeling that she didn’t know what they had in stock, and she couldn’t even locate the dresses. My mother and I stood for over 10 minutes waiting for her to come back. It wasn’t the easiest shopping experience, but I did find the dress that I wanted. They have nice dresses for good prices.
GUEST

They did a good job the first time I went, but when I went back to get a couple other things the lady was terrible to us. I was very dissapointed that time and seriously almost walked out. The prices are good and the variety of sizes in every dress, but that's about it.
GUEST

Very helpful, consultants were great helped me kae the right pick for my bridal gown and brides maids.

David's bridal screwed up my bridesmaid dress order and I ended up needing to change the color of the dresses because of it. I was not happy with the service provided.

I went to Davids for my dress. I tried on my sample dress which was dirty and the zipper was broken. The lady helping me assured me that I would be getting a new dress and she was ordering it from the warehouse. She told me my dress would be in in about 6 weeks. 2 weeks after I ordered my dress Davids called that my dress was in, I was thrilled what great service right! WRONG the dress they tried to give me was filthy rotten dirty, much of the beading was coming off. I told they manager that I did not pay $700 for a dirty dress.......she had the nerve to say to me actually thats why you ONLY paid $700 our dresses are discounted because they are a buy off the rack store. I was livid. $700 is A LOT of money to me. I told her I was not taking this dress home with me and they needed to get me a NEW dress. 2 weeks later I had a dress, im not completely convinced that my dress was new but atleast they had the decentacy to clean it first. If I were to do it all over again I would NOT go back to davids. Im sure the service alone would have been worth the extra money someplace else. Oh and they also would not press my dress for me, even for a fee, because I had my alterations done someplace else.

I loved my wedding dress and veil that I purchased from David's Bridal, however if you are not getting alterations done at the store they will not give you a swatch of your dress. I found this to be difficult because I was purchasing shoes from another bridal store 40 minutes away and they needed a swatch of my dress for my shoes to be dyed the correct shade of ivory. The staff at David's Bridal was not helpful and rude at times.

My best friend took the lead in getting all the bridesmaids to go to David’s Bridal to go wedding dress shopping. I loved that the girls went once before me because I avoided watching them argue over what style of dress is better. The wedding dress consultant at David’s Bridal gave them a bit of a hard time since there was no bride. I thought it made the most sense because when I went shopping with them the following week, they showed me right away the two dress styles they were all willing to wear. Bridesmaids dresses are so hideous, even after alterations. The girls looked nice, but it was obvious the dresses they chose were bridemaids dresses.

I put my information into their website to possibley view a specific dress and they called me the next day to book a time to do a dress viewing. I picked a date and time that was latter that week, I ended up not being able to make it, and they switched the date and time to fit my schedule. They did not have the dress I viewed on the internet but they did track it down so I could try it on rather than just purchaseing it on the internet I loved it, they were a big help

I only had three weeks to plan my wedding because my husband is in the military. David's bridal in Henrietta was able to accomidate my needs. I was able to find a beautiful dress, veil. headpiece, shoes, and wrap and have my alterations done all on time. However, my bridal consultant, Lori, was extremely rude. She treated us like trash and continued to act as though we were poor. She would say things like "I don't know if you want to look at THAT veil it's $125" . I recommend David's Bridal to others because it is so convenient. I would not however put up with a consultant such as the one that I had to deal with.

My dress was beautiful and I got many compliments. I got a great deal during one their well known sales. The only complaint I have is the cost of alterations and the lack of professionalism and flexibility during the fitting process after purchase of my dress. I took my dress elswehere (a private, local seamstress that works out of her home) becuase the cost of alterations (which not many were needed to begin with) was outrageous and the seamstress department at David's was rude and inconsiderate to me during fitting. The cost of alteration at David's was quoted at 3x the actual cost of my dress.

Loved the people that helped me. Loved my dress.

A. I only purchased my dress, veil and shoes from David's, so my experience with them is limited. I lucked out and had purchased my dress while Jessie still worked there. She was wonderful to work with!!! I absolutely adore my dress and had no problems whatsoever. I had heard so many horror stories regarding their alterations, that I decided to look elsewhere, and do not regret that decision for a moment.

I like David’s Bridal because you can spend days shopping online at their store and see what sort of dresses and styles they have. I don’t like that it’s hard to find dress prices on their website, and I did mention that to them. I found bridesmaids dresses that I loved, I thought they were perfect and they complimented the bodies of the bridesmaids. I did not get my ceremony dress here, but I did get my reception dress here. I found this cute short white ruffle dress that made sense to get because it would be easier to dance in.
GUEST

My dress was beautiful but the service that we recieved was horrible! When I was trying on various dresses one of the workers told me that it was good that I hadn't choose a certain dress because I looked fat in it anyway. I would recommend looking into checking out other botiques.
GUEST

I was suprised that they had such a good selection at really good prices. Was able to have dresses altered without any problems.
GUEST

Davids Bridal employees were nice and helpful. My dress was exactly what i was looking for and i actually found it on the 99 dollar rack! Mine was the cheapest of all the females in my wedding including my moms and mother in laws!
GUEST

Not a whole lot in the way of MOB dresses. Also went to look for shoes and didn't find anything. My mother did end up ordering a dress that was online, but not in their stores. She had it within 2 weeks and loved it...
GUEST

Lots (and lots and lots) of gowns to compare, include a large number that are readily available in the common sizes (plus veils, including cathedral veils). Great service, including really nice tailors and show staff. Also good to look here for bridesmaid dresses - their selection was on par with prices elsewhere and had lots of good styles and colors. My wife keeps recommending this place to all of her to-be-married friends.

The first time I walked in and tried on dresses went fine. From then on it was a disaster. Once they got my money for my dress the customer service went straight down hill, all but one of my 6 bridesmaids has issues with their dresses that were either never resolved or were made worse. Two of my bridesmaids dresses were very very late yet they were the first of three to be ordered months before the wedding. Once the dresses came in there were issues with the way they were made, one was sewn together crooked yet no one noticed until the girl wearing the dress after 5 mins said it didnt seem to fit right. Once my dress came in the seemstress would not fit me to the dress because of the way I wanted it to fit, so they ordered me a larger dress that needed to be taken in to fit correctly (I see it as a ploy to get more money from you.) Once the new dress came in it had about 6 small pulls in the front that I had to point out and they said they could fix them... for an additional charge. WHAT?! I get a $700 dress with pulls in it and they want to charge ME to fix them? They ended up not charging me for the adjustments and the repairs to the dress. There were many minor issues that arent even worth talking about but the biggest, even worse than my own dress was my sister in laws dress. Hers was the one that was sewn crooked because they had put pads in the chest area to fit it better and didnt bother to make sure they were straight. They said (one week before the wedding) that they could get her a different one that would need to be taken in for an additional charge and shipping. She lived 2 1/2 hours from this store and would have to be there two days before the wedding to get fitted. She ended up taking the dress to a different location that said that they couldnt take the dress back because it had been altered even though they altered it and it was their fault it was wrong. After two other David's locations she ended up with a different dress that just fit and due to time was not able to get it properly fitted. Yes, they did end up taking back the first dress that they screwed up after I called both locations and my father in law showed up at the location that she ended up getting the final dress.
I do not recommend Davids Bridal to any bride, I feel that they made my wedding planning a disaster. Everything else that had taken place for my wedding was no where near as stressful as this, not even having to find a different DJ in one week.

I would have to say that I went to almost all the bridal stores, but I ended up liking a ‘prom’ dress at David’s Bridal the best. I saw it as soon as I came in, I thought it was nice and asked to try it on. The staff was nice and got it for me. They didn’t seem to care that I wanted a cheaper dress, and I like that they don’t force you to try on expensive dresses. They aren’t the most professional salespeople, and they also don’t have the nicest store layout, but the dresses are cheap.
GUEST

the lady who helped me was helpful in picking out bridal dresses to try on - I gave her a description of what I liked and she brought dresses to me, there was not too much aid when we went to pick out bridesmaids dresses - it seemed like it was "everyone for themselves," alterations done there are overpriced and that's probably where they get most of their profit from

I made an appointment during their $99 sale. I did not need the dress right away so I figured if I could get a deal on a dress I loved then I would get it but I was not about to spend a ton of money on a dress I would wear only once. I tried on a bunch of VERY expensive dresses the consultant picked out before I finally came out and asked for the $99 dresses. They had only about 8 on one little rack. 7 of the 8 looked way outdated but the 8th happened to be my dream dress! The alterations woman came out to see it and was quite snobby! The alterations she wanted to make were going to cost me nearly 3x the cost of the dress! I ended up taking the dress as-is and had my mother-in-law do the alterations for nothing!

Dresses were beautiful, staff could be friendlier.

I went into this store once- I loved it because I am a plus size female, and this store has plus size dresses, in all types out for anyone to be able to try on. Next, there is always some kind of deal or sale, and the dresses aren't that unreasonably priced. However, I was disappointed that the sales lady I had wasn't more into "me". She didn't help very often. I was expecting for her to be able to go and pull different dresses in the style that I wanted and for her to have them ready for me to try on. (like I saw being done with other brides-to-be). But she left that up to me. I didn't recieve any suggestions from her. Also, when the dress was being altered, my shoes were already picked out- and the alterations dept downed the shoes i had. I was a little sad about this because its hard for me to find shoes to begin with, and what i found were excellent. they thought they were too tall. But my dress still went to the floor, and I wasn't any taller than my husband. They looked beautiful.
GUEST

The Only problem that I had with them is that they would not let me try on my dress when I picked up they said I would wrinkle it How ever I was expecting and they corrected everything in minutes
GUEST

Overall I was happy with what I got from them. One lady that worked there had great customer service.
