I have some mixed feelings about David's bridal, and would recommend them for the budget-minded bride, and their good selection--but it is not an enjoyable shopping experience. The store is always packed, and you can feel, even with an appointment, rushed in and rushed out. Also, do NOT give them your email. I have created a spam folder just for them, as they send emails to the point of obnoxiousness.
So, overall:
Benefits: Pretty good selection, low/moderate cost
Costs: Not the best shopping experience, and they will try to get you to by "extras"/accessories which will add to your bill and may or may not be helpful, & if you provide a real email account to them, they will spam you...
I would recommend them to a bride trying to save money-which could be many of us-but with caution for the...

I had a great time searching for a wedding dress in Davids Bridal. The staff was friendly and professional. I would recommend this store for any bride as a starting point for dress hunting, strictly for the "not overwhelming" factor. They do not pressure you at all. If you can't find your dream dress there, you are at least garuanteed to get an idea of what you are looking for. There are so many dresses to try on and in so many different styles. It makes for a good baseline.

I was very happy with the dress that I got, as well as the bridesmaids dresses. David's bridal is so convenient, they are located everywhere it seems. One of my bridesmaids ordered her dress online, which is even more convenient. I highly recommend David's bridal!
GUEST

my dress and my bridesmaids dresses were wonderful on point with matching of mens tuxedos, we appreciate our sales rep who was very knowledgeable helpful and loved every moment of the appointment. Joy was my representative and I loved her!!! Would reccommend her to everyone.

Although people seem to have strong opinions about David's Bridal, I have to say that I found the absolute perfect dress there...for $99. It was a show-stopper with a plunging back--very elegant, sophisticated, and comfortable (!). Love, love, love it. The only alteration I needed was the hem--otherwise fit perfectly. So, although the store may seem chaotic, there are definitely benefits to dealing with the chaos.

The invitations were great! Once I learned how to tie the bow correctly it was a breeze.

Got a beautiful dress from David's Bridal. The attendant was very helpful and informed, and alterations did a good job as well.
GUEST

My experience with Davids Bridal was wonderful. They woman who assisted me with trying on dresses was wonderful. She helped me find exactly what I wanted and gave honest feed back on how they looked. The seamstress was wonderful as well. She did a beautiful job on my dress in a very short amount of time, and it was not an easy dress to work with.
GUEST

Was happy with my dress but not so much the service.
GUEST

I was a little skeptical about ordering invitations, but the prices were unbeatable. I received so many compliments on the invites. Great for a bride on a budget that wants to have amazing looing invites. Very impressed. Even sent extra!

You can't beat David's Bridal in value and quality. Their dresses may not be ritzy-designer like, but they are beautiful at a fraction of the cost! The dress of my dreams was originally marked at $1,300, that cost continued to drop over the year and I ended up purchasing it for $450! :) Plus, the consultants are very professional and friendly. Overall, great experience!
They were also able to return one of my veils that I didn't end up needing for all of my bridesmaid gifts. I got each girl a cute pearl bracelet...
GUEST

I nearly cried the entire time.
GUEST

Well as we all know you cant beat their prices, when i went in they were extreamly nice, however i got declined for the credit card they kept pushing on me and no joke stoped helping me when it was declined. also pushed their photographer and ect on me while i was looking for dresses, I ended up buying the one i wanted online since their staff was so pushy and rude. No way now im going back to get my dress altered there.

David's Bridal did a great job on my dress and the dresses of my bridesmaids. Their selection and value was second to none. We were so pleased to be able to match dresses from store to store across the country. As always, David's has done a terrific job!
GUEST

I am a bride that lives in FL and have a bridesmaid that lives in VA and had to get her dress up there. The services was horrible and the people were rude...even when I had to speak with them on the phone.
GUEST

Great Service...Invitations were beautiful and inexpensive.
GUEST

Thank you David's Bridal for your great customer service, as well as a wonderful selection of gowns to choose from!
GUEST

Terrible service. I had to come back for three dress fittings, and the fabric was practically ruined by their seamstresses. I paid a great price for my dress, but the cost of the alterations was half the cost of the dress! The alterations staff was not very helpful, and the bridal consultant pushed for dresses I specifically did not ask for and did not like. Be strong in your opinions if you go here, as they are very pushy in selling you the dress but not helpful once you own it.

I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to work with David's Bridal. From the first moment I walked into the shop, the staff was friendly and supportive. They were open to my ideas and were there for me and my bridal party to help as much as we needed. I even brought my Mom in to shop for a dress and found something that she looked great in. The prices were very reasonable, and it was great to be able to pick a color for the bridesmaid dresses and let everyone pick a dress that they loved, that was suited to them. It was also wonderful that there are David's Bridal shops all over the country. My bridesmaids in Colorado and California also were able to try on dresses easily near them, and my info was online for them to look up. And the alterations were reasonable, and the staff professional and timely. I love all the services (like preserving the dress and complimentary steaming before the wedding) that came with working with Davids.

This review is for the Woodbridge, VA location. David's Bridal is great on an off-day and for someone who wants a lot of somewhat reasonably-priced dresses in one store. I found what I was looking for within 5 dresses, but it was a mess getting to that point. The woman helping us was unorganized and trying to help too many people at once.
The seamstress, however, was very good. You have to make an appointment with her for the alterations, etc. but she's very talented. I just didn't enjoy paying another $250 or so for the adjustments, etc.

With David's, you get what you get. Loved my dress, but you know, it's just Davids...

I had the best consultant! She was very patient with me and listened to my wants and visions for my dress. I tried on over 10 gowns and finally chose one that fit my personality just as well as it fit me.

when we first started planning our wedding, i was determined to find a glamorous dress and not spend a fortune. i had been to david's before when i was a bridesmaid in a friends wedding and also got a prom dress from there back in high school. my mom and i walked in and immediately were greeted and paired up with a dress consultant. anne was amazing! i showed her some ideas i'd printed from the website and she immediately started pulling dresses. it didn't take long...the first dress we zipped up was the one! i know it doesn't always happen like this and i was looking at my mom like "isn't it supposed to be more difficult than this?" my mom also found her dress that day. i didn't realize that if you buy your dress at david's, your mother, the mother of the groom, and your bridesmaids all get a discount as well if they purchase from there. all of my bridesmaids were pleased with the service and the selection (we did separates). their dresses shipped quickly once ordered and arrived as expected. i could not have been more pleased with the selection and how gorgeous everyone looked, not to mention we were able to get everything we wanted within our budget. i can't tell you how many people asked me and my mom where i got my dress...highly recommended!!

I loved my dress! And if I didn't love the dress. I probably would have gone somewhere else. I like David's Bridal, just not the one in Alexandria. I had my bridesmaids get their dresses from there and they were pleased with the customer service. I think this location just needs a little update on the art of customer service.

To be honest I never thought I would find a wedding dress at David's Bridal, but I was near the store and figured I'd stop in to see what they had available. I was greeted immediately and was introduced to Joy. Joy took the time to listen to what I was looking for and helped set me up in a dressing room. She kept bringing me dresses to try on that were in the style I described to her, and to my surprise one of the dresses looked amazing and was exactly what I was looking for. The price was also very reasonable and the quality was excellent. I purchased the dress the same day and never ended up looking at any other store. Joy was very helpful in arranging alterations and the free cleaning and pressing that comes with the purchase of the dress. I would definitely recommend visiting a David's Bridal if you are looking for a wedding dress.
GUEST

I figured I would start with Davids bridal since the prices were so good and if I couldn't find anything I was gonna move to the boutiques. No lie 2 nd dress I tried on was the one. It was perfect and didnt look cheap or tacky. It was a nice simple satin trumpet gown with minimal detailing. I absolutely loved it and would pick it again and again
The only thing I didn't like about the Davids experience was the alteration department. The guy I worked with was very nice but not very good at tailoring. He messed up my zipper but you couldn't notice it on the day of. One woman that worked there was very rude. She was making comments about all the girls trying on gowns under her breath and didn't realize I spoke her language and understood everything. Regardless I would go again to buy my gown.

Overall I had a fine experience at David’s Bridal. You will not get the same personal attention that you would get at a smaller salon, and should expect your consultant to be working with other wedding parties at the same time. Before my appointment they also asked me to go online, create an account, and pick out my favorite dresses on there so they could pull them up in the store. However, when I came in their computer system was down and I had to start all over again. I would recommend trying on dresses elsewhere first so you have a good idea of the style you want, as the consultants aren’t too helpful other than returning dresses to the racks. On the plus side, I came in to pick up my dress on a weeknight, which wasn’t too busy, and they actually made me feel much more special than I had expected! Also, with their wide array of sizes in the store it’s likely that you can try on the dress you want in your size, and they do have reasonable prices. I went elsewhere for my alterations.

What an awful experience. Every time I had to go into the store, I was completely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and service. I went there over a holiday weekend to pick out my dress. While they had a good selection, the "help" I got was less than helpful. I pretty much knew what dress I wanted, but the sales person seemed to think that I should not be married in a white dress, as she kept telling me that the dress only came in white. Since I didn't have much time, I had them order the dress for me. When it came in, I went in to try it on - but couldn't even get any assistance with it! Like once the sale was done, so were they! I expressed my disappointment to the assistant manager, who really did little more than apologize. For such an important purchase, this was totally awful. I would not recommend this store to anyone!
GUEST

Don't get me wrong, I was very happy with the dress that I picked. I just wasn't overall impressed with everything. The only way that I knew my dress was in after i ordered it was via email which I was suprised because they gave me a short window span to pick up the dress. The ladies that I worked with were very nice.

My initial experience at David's was excellent! I made sure to book a week night appointment so it wasn't as busy and I could get a more personal experience with the attendant. I worked with Jamie and she was very attentive and made the experience very fun. I found THE dress for me within the first two hours I was there and subsequently wound up purchasing the dress later. It turned out great because I found the dress hidden in some other dresses and it had barely been worn, it looked brand new! SInce the dress had been discontinued and I had a $100 off coupon, I only wound up playing about $150 for the dress. It truly was a killer deal! I have no complaints about my dress purchasing experience. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the rest of my experiences at Davids. One of the managers that works at the Springfield location is a very nasty and rude woman. Not only is she horribly rude to her employees in front of her customers but she is also rude to customers. I've also found that things are very unorganized when you first arrive to Davids, even if you already have an appointment. It takes FOREVER to check out at this location and the cashiers never seem to know what they are doing. I had my dress cleaned, pressed and bustled through Davids alterations shop which was a good experience. I also gave them my veil to press along with my dress. The straw that broke the camels back regarding my opinion of this location was that I learned 15 min before I was supposed to walk down the aisle to my future husband that the alterations team never put my veil back in the dress bag. (I probably should have checked but I made a poor assumption that they put it in the garment bag!) Unfortunately the wedding was too far to go back to that Davids so we had to send one of the guys out very last minute to pick me up another veil from a different Davids. Luckily the wedding only started about 10 min late. After the honeymoon I went back to Davids to explain the situation and get my money back. They still had my veil (with no name on it) hanging in the alterations room. They were very apologetic and refunded the veil. They also gave me a discount on my dress preservation. They were able to redeem themselves a bit but overall I was not pleased with my experience!
GUEST

Everyone knows that you can get a great deal here. Just don't expect much in terms of the customer service when you're there (they're great over the phone though). While there it felt a little rushed and the attendant was very busy with several brides at the time (understandable) so we didn't exactly receive the best service.
Great bargains but don't have high expectations to be treated like the world evolves around you.

I live in Honolulu, but was having the wedding back home in VA. I was able to find the dress at David's Bridal in Hawaii, but because of the time frame I needed to purchase the dress back in Virginia. David's Bridal helped me find my dress in VA and then ship it to the store closest to me for pick-up. They were very friendly and helpful to me and my mother while we were purchasing the gown!

I had heard all the horrible reviews of David's Bridal, but with only a month to find a dress, my options were limited. The positive is that the store has a wide selection of dresses you can take home, but unfortunately the pros stop there. I had an appointment to try on dresses, but my "bridal consultant" was helping TWO other brides in addition to me, I had to zip up dresses on my own, and help myself in and out of dresses. She was even helping customers that just walked in the door! My appointment was supposed to be an hour, and could have been, only I was left for 10-15 minute increments just waiting to be brought other dresses to try on because she was with the other brides. After I found my dress, I learned that "off the rack" dresses that are samples are NOT discounted. My dress needed a few stitches repaired and a cleaning/pressing, that was supposed to take two weeks and it STILL wasn't ready. It took four phone calls, and three additional days for me to be told it was ready, when I got to the store, the ONLY thing that had been done was the stitching was repaired, the dress was still dirty and wrinkled and they told me it was ready to go home! After making a fuss, I ended up waiting an additional hour to get my dress taken home that day because I had enough.
I would NEVER recommend this place to ANY bride. You will feel more like cattle in a herd, than you will a bride shopping for a dress on her special day.
GUEST

I loved the selections at David's Bridal and for low costs.
The alterations department was just ok though. When I went to pick up my dress for my wedding just a few days away, my dress was still not pressed and the job they did was just ok at best.
GUEST

I liked the dress I bought here very much and the lady who helped me out was very kind. It was a nice environment to come and they aren't nearly as pushy as other wedding dress stores (and a lot more reasonably priced, as wedding dresses go).
GUEST

A few of our groomsmen used this location to get fitted and purchase their tuxs for the wedding. When the tuxs arrived they all fitted well- with no last minute changes.
GUEST

David's Bridal has a very large selection of dresses to choose from at all different price ranges. I got a gorgeous one that was about to go out of stock, so the price was pretty low. The staff was very friendly and helpful in helping be find a dress. The only thing is I'd recommend going to someone else for alterations, because that was very expensive - it cost half the price of the dress!
GUEST

I absolutely loved my wedding dress! I had a 2-in-1 convertible, tiered dress that was perfect for my wedding. I bought it at David's and also had it altered there.
When I was trying to choose a dress, the first consultant I had made me feel rushed. I didn't have an appointment, which may explain why she was busy helping other people. But she also said that I had to definitely choose my top 5 that day or else. She was, however, good at helping me into dresses.
On another visit, I requested a different consultant, who seemed less experienced but was very friendly. I guess they are supposed to do this, but it was slightly annoying how she didn't have an opinion on which dress she thought was best. It is up to me in the end, but I don't understand how someone can be so noncommittal, unless she thought all the dresses looked ugly. My mom was also noncommittal, so it would've been nice to have a second opinion.
Luckily, I believe it was the manager (whose name I don't know) who turned out to be very good at critiquing the different dresses. She gave me some advice about the various cuts and told me what was flattering.
The alterations department was efficient and pretty quick. I went in for a fitting, then got my dress back within a few weeks, and it fit perfectly.
So in the end, I loved my dress and am glad I got it from David's Bridal. I'm not really the type of person who needs pampering, and I hate negotiating prices, so I stayed away from the frilly Kleinfeld-esque places and am glad I did.
I got my shoes and other accessories somewhere else, but I was considering their beaded sashes at one point.
GUEST

I definitely enjoy going to this David's Bridal than the other ones in VA! They have many more dresses in stock and I was able to get my dress, shoes, hair pieces and my bridesmaids' gifts from here. They have a great staff from the consultants to those in alterations.

My experience with the Springfield, VA David's Bridal was great. But every time I went into the store, I met with my bridal consultant Christina. She is fantastic, knows her stuff, and knows how to guide you in the right direction. Now, some of the other associates, just okay. But I was able to try on a variety of dresses in my size (I'm a 12 in normal clothes, 14 in the dresses here b/c they run a bit smaller). The value of what I got was worth it. I was able to find a beautiful gown in my price range, in my size, that flattered me and a gorgeous veil to match. My experience in alterations was the same as with Christina. They are professionals in the alteration dept. I asked that spaghetti straps be added to my gown and they shortened my gown to the desired length (I'm almost 5'3"). When the dress was ready to be picked up from alterations, it fitted as I wanted it to. Overall, I had a good experience, even in trying on bridesmaid dresses for my best friend's wedding, which was in July 2011, again, I also had Christina!
GUEST

I was happy with my dress. The service wasn't so great and I understand that the Spring time is the busiest time of the year but that was no excuse for making me feel rushed in trying on dresses. I was happy with the Tangerine color I chose for the bridesmaids. I would recommend them because the dresses are affordable.
GUEST

Davids Bridal in Springfield really came through for me despite all the bad reviews I had read. I made an appointment to try on gowns and they were very attentive and listened to what I wanted. Even my alterations went smoothly. They had it finished in a reasonable amount of time and I absolutely loved my gown. The only thing I can complain about is the size of their dressing rooms. Overall I had a great experience with Davids and I would definitely recommend them.

I made an appointment at David's Bridal for myself and my bridesmaids. Although I didn't find my dress there, we did find a cute and affordable dress for my bridesmaids. I found the service to be efficient and pleasant, but I would definitely recommend making an appointment ahead of time (they get very busy). Plus, it is definitely an advantage that they have so many colors and styles available to try on!
GUEST

I had a good experience here. I didn't feel alot of pressure to add on accessories. I was impressed with the quality of the dresses - much higher than what I expected (except on their very cheapest dresses). I ended up paying more than what I originally planned, but I felt that a similar quality dress at another store would have cost a couple hundred dollars more. And it was great getting to try on a dress in my actual size.
I did have a bit of a hard time talking them into ordering me a new dress instead of giving me the "floor model" but I won in the end.
I also bought my veil through their website, and my bridesmaids and flower girls dresses here as well. I did not get alterations here.
GUEST

I purchased my dress at another David's Bridal and then took it to this store for alterations. I would NOT recommend doing this. They were rude, unhelpful, and in the end made me purchase a different dress and have alterations done that cost more than the cost of the original dress. This may have been my fault for not taking a bridesmaid or friend with me as back-up, but I just expected more from David's Bridal. And I even had to have additional alterations done at a different location following this experience. I was extremely disappointed with this store in particular.
I would not recommend this store in any way - the alterations or the sales department.
GUEST

I believe Mary helped me, she was very nice and patients with me and helped me try on every dress I liked even though it was about 8:30 at night and they were closing soon. I found my dress n loved it!
GUEST

The Springfield location can get really busy. I had an appointment but it almost felt like I was just picking out my own dresses and trying them on. I will say my consultant did help me pull out some dresses that were in my price range which was good. I did end up buying a dress but I didnt feel the "dress picking experience." I dropped my dress off for cleaning/alterations and they did a good job but they forgot to call me to notify me when my dress was done. I had to follow up with them and they told me my dress was done a week ago. I would have never known if I didnt call. Overall the service is average but if you are patient you can find the dress you want in the price range you are looking for. Also, follow up with them as much as possible and everything will turn out fine.
GUEST

I have heard a lot of negative press about David's but I had a wonderful experience. I bought a dress I loved for a reasonable price. I worked with nice salespeople and I was able to get my dress bustled quickly because I was only in town for a short time! I gave them a three for flexibility because there is no flexibility in the whole industry, but that's a rant for another day!

Overall I had a good experience and would go there again. But I had adjusted my expectations from what I saw on TV (ie-Say Yes To the Dress) prior to going. I knew that I wasn’t going to get the same individual attention which was fine with me.
I was very lucky. I found a dress that was $250 and it arrived in 10 days. Which is highly, highly unusual. I didn't used their alterations service. (The reviews have not been kind to the David’s in-house alterations.)
I wanted to pass along some tips and suggestions.
1. Go with someone who can help you zip up. My associate was very nice (Anne), but this is not a ‘full’ service bridal salon. Anne was great in that she made sure I wasn’t overwhelmed by the number of dress I had. On my second visit, I must have pulled 20-30 dresses (some were duplicates). She would bring over 3-5 at a time and take away the ones I didn’t like. But then she would disappear. At which point my friend was the one zipping me up. Just when I was done with that batch of dresses, Anne would appear from nowhere with then next batch to try on. She helped with a few zip up dresses and all the corseted backed dresses. I would say she was there about 30% of the time to help me get into the dress.
2. Bring a camera. David’s let’s you take photos. I took front and back pictures of the favorite dresses (which turned out to be 11). Then I made a PowerPoint photo album with each dressed labeled. Then I sent it to my Mom and other Brides’ Maids. This made it very easy to have conversations about the dresses. (“I like dress 2, 10 and 11)
3. Use the David’s catalog to keep track of your opinions of each dress. This may not be necessary if you bring a camera. But even if you take pictures of some dresses, after a few days you might not remember which other dresses you tried on and your opinion of them. It was nice to go back through the catalog and be reminded that I gave that dress a 6 or that it made me look fat.
4. Go during the week (after work). I went on a week night. I haven’t been there during the weekends, but I’ve heard it’s a zoo.
5. David’s Bridal in Springfield is a test store, so they get dresses that aren’t in the catalog. When you go in, ask to see the ‘test’ dresses that aren’t in the catalog.
6. Buy the dress bag. Yes it sucks that after spending hundreds of dollars that they make you buy the dress bag, but it’s $10 and totally worth it, even if it’s really cheap quality. You aren’t using it as checked-baggage on a trip.
7. Bring your own clips. Anne had to scrounge around for those clips they use to hold the back of the dresses. They had them, but if there were a lot of brides that day, there might not be enough.
8. They have samples in most every size. (sometimes they are missing a specific size, but they should have it in the next size up) This is great for two reasons. First, you can try on a dress that isn’t too big. I’m a size 12, but at some stores I was trying on size 16 because that’s the sample they had available. I don’t care how many clips you have, it’s impossible to get a real feel of what the dress looks like when it’s so big. Second, you can try on the Second, you can try on the size dress you are going to order. There are many stories of stores that order dresses too big, just to force brides to pay for more expensive alterations.
Overall Bridal Dress Shopping
1. Try on *everything*!! Unless you really hate something (like the type of lace), try it on!! I cannot emphasize this enough. I tried on one dress (to make my MOH happy)that I was convinced would look HORRIBLE on me and I was shocked at how good I looked in it.
2. Wear long lasting lipstick. (Some people say it dries their lips out, but I swear by L’Oreal’s Infallible. Doesn’t stay on the 12+ hours like Cover Girl’s, but it does nicely at 8-10 hours -depending on what you eat). You don’t want to look washed out while you try on dresses, but you also don’t want to get lipstick stains on the samples or have to keep re-applying it.
3. Bring something to pull back your hair. I wore it down just because I it would be impossible to keep it neat when getting in and out of dresses. But I wish I had brought something to pull my hair back once I was in the dress.

I think that David's Bridal receives a decent review, but I was not overwhelmingly impressed. Most of the bridal consultants at the Springfield location did a good job of tending to my needs while I was trying to find the perfect dress, but I had a couple that we slightly pushy and trying to put me in things that THEY liked me in. I did want others' opinions, but not necessarily an overbearing opinion of someone I had just met.
When I finally found the dress I loved, I used the Springfield's David's Bridal for alterations. In the end it worked out beautifully, but I am also fortunate enough to speak up for myself or, at the very least, surround myself with friends/family that aren't afraid to do so. The first fitting the lady was amazing and took care of me very quickly. When I went back to try on the dress after the first round of alterations had been made, one bustle loop was forgotten and I noticed that the bodice, right at the top of my ribs, was too tight, but the rest was fine. The assistant helping me responded with "it's supposed to be tight! You only have to wear it one day." WHAT?!?! I understand that a bridal gown isn't going to be like wearing a pair of sweatpants, but I think that I have the right to determine what is or isn't comfortable enough for my day... no? So then we went back for the last visit and the dress sizing was fine, but the bustle loop that was missing from the last visit was forgotten once again. There was a quick save, however, and the attendent working with us that day (who happened to be the one that did my initial fitting) fixed it up in 2 minutes and even steamed it again for good measure.
All in all, they did what I would have expected, but you can't often beat their dress prices and selection!

David's Bridal is the best place to find a dress; I got my dress, my mother's dress, and my bridesmaid's dresses there along with our shoes and handbags. The staff is great! You get the sense that they really care about you and want to make sure you look gorgeous. My sales rep was so nice; she remembered me every time I went in and she always asked how the plans were coming along. They have a huge variety of dresses and I would definitely recommend them to bride-to-be's!

The David's in Springfield... my experience was not so good. My maid of honor girls got there dresses from there. It was very reasonable of cost but the customer service sucked! I made my appt a month in advance and when I got there the lady that was helping us out really didn't. She just showed us some dresses and walked away, she wasn't really helpful in trying to pick some dresses out. She just pulled whatever dress that we said we were interested in and that's it. there was a lady that worked in the store that wasn't our consultant that was more helpful towards the end of the process of looking for dresses than the person who was supposed to help us. I wasn't impressed with the david's in Springfield. But the dresses on the girls was awesome and cheap! and shipped out very fast! it was supposed to get to them within 8 weeks it got to them in 3 weeks.

They charge for things that aren't necessary and don't treat your bridesmaids very well.

I bought my dress at the David's Bridal in Glen Burnie, MD, but I had it altered (and bought accessories) at a later time, at this David's Bridal in Springfield, VA. I had great service at both places, but the Springfield store wins by a small margin!
The service was great! The consultants really sounded like they knew their stuff. I was a happy bride.
GUEST

Yes, I'm another unhappy David's Bridal bride. While I'm pleased with my dress itself and how quickly my order came in, the service that I received while shopping at the David's Bridal in Springfield, VA could only be described as unprofessional.
My consultant (Maleaka?) complained about the corset-back dresses that I selected to try on - she didn't know how to tie them properly, she hated tying them, one of them she didn't even tie all the way! Repeatedly, the consultant called my (younger) SIL-to-be my MOTHER... after I had corrected her multiple times. The consultant was assigned other clients while she was helping me and she completely disappeared on us for a while. At another point, she left to go look for the veil that coordinated with my dress, only to disappear again... and my SIL went to find the veil herself.
I may have found *my* dress there, but it was only because I had a strong idea of exactly what I wanted... not because the consultant was any help. Let the buyer beware.

I love my dress that I got at David's Bridal. I found the same dress elsewhere but paid about 1/3 the cost at David's Bridal. That being said, I would recommend getting your dress there, make sure to make an appointment, but do not get it altered there. The service was awful, the people mean, and the guy doing my dress had no clue what he was doing, the head woman had to keep coming over and redoing it, so of course when i went to pick it up it didn't fit right so the head lady had to fix it. They did fix it, but it was frustrating that the same incompetent person kept working on it. Also purchased the bridesmaids dresses there. While they all looked beautiful, the David's Bridal staff was really mean to them when they went to try on/pick up dresses when I was not there. It seems they cater to brides but ignore bridesmaids (a very bad idea since most if mt bridesmaids were single and will not use David's Bridal again as a result). Also, while the dresses in the store all fit them well, including length, once the ordered dresses arrived, they were ridiculously long, and they ordered my sister's in the wring size. Think they do this to get extra money from alterations. Too bad for them none of them had their dresses altered there. So, go get your gown there but look elsewhere for alterations and bridesmaids dresses.

I bought my wedding gown and the dress for the maid-of-honor in David's Bridal located in Springfield, VA. I was assisted by Joy who was very helpful in finding the right gown for me. I went on three different occasions and she was patient and helpful. However, when we went to get the maid-of-honor's dress, Joy was not available and the service was awful. After trying several dresses and deciding which one we wanted, we were told that the dress was not available for the date we needed it. Then, we were left on our own to keep looking and trying dresses. In addition, they did not do a good job pressing the dresses for the rest of the wedding party. DB's prices are reasonable, but maybe it’s better to pay a little bit more somewhere else and get better service.

I got my bridal gown here. I absolutely LOVED the dress and it fit perfectly when I got it. I didn't have to even get it altered at all. They had said it would take a couple months to come in after I ordered it but it only took a couple weeks tops which was great. The service was not the best though. It was super busy there every time I went and the saleslady was helping several girls at a time so you don't have their full attention. The dress was very inexpensive compared to other bridal salons I went to though which worked great with my budget.

All the dresses were beautiful, sized correctly and reasonably priced They did and excellent job.

I had gotten a gown from Davids Bridal in Tacoma, WA a year ago & the wedding didn't happen & now have decided to elope and still wanted a dress. Made an appointment & went in. The lady Jackie was very nice, but everyone else was very rude. If you are not their client for that day...i assume they work based on commission, were extremely rude. They did not have a size or color i wanted & she was nice enough to check a different location...so i called back for the style and had a lady who picked up the phone ask me my question came back 5 minutes later and ask me the same question....then when i ask for the syle, she gave me a "I don't have time for you attitude". VERY SNOTTY....i went to check out the dress in Southcenter the same day, and they were very rude there too. IF YOU DECIDE TO GO IN...MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. They do not care! If they are busy, they are extremely SNOTTY!!

I had a very interesting time getting my dress from David's. I didn't even intend on getting my dress here, I was just stopped in to look at the dresses and I got roped in to trying them on. The first assistant that helped me was beyond terrible. She did not listen to a word I was saying and she put me in dresses that were the opposite of what I wanted- and a size or 2 too small to boot. It was like no matter what I said to her, she kept bringing me dresses and slips that were bad. I kept hoping it would get better... which is why I put up with it.
After about 2 hours of torture, the assistant manager had to step in to rectify the issue. She was amazing! I dont remember her name, but she read my mind. At that point, she was able to fit me in the correct gown (one that actually fit). After about 2 or 3 dresses that looked great, I ended up getting one that would suit my beach wedding. I was so sick of dress trying on, it was nice to settle on something!!
The dress was so nice for the price, and it really did look great on my big day.
Davids Bridal is good for many reasons, they have so many dresses and they are all very affordable. It was just a long and somewhat aggravating experience for me.
I ended up using them for my bridesmaids dress too and it was super affordable for all my girls. The fact that there are stores all over was a big help, since my bridesmaids live in like 5 different states!! The girls all really loved wearing them, and they looked great. Just make sure ALL of your bridesmaids get their dresses hemmed!
Overall, David's was a good experience. I was satisfied with my dress, and the bridesmaids dresses too. I would have had a more pleasant experience, but the first woman that I worked with was an absolute nightmare!!!! Be warned... and change your sales associate if you are not happy!

My experience with David's Bridal was ok but overall I was disappointed. The consultant I had was really nice but she was also helping other brides at the same time so it was difficult to get her attention when I needed some help. There were times when I had to wait around for long time until she returned. The dressing rooms are incredibly small so it was difficult to try on dresses. My bridesmaids and jr. bridesmaid got their dresses there too which was fine. I finally found the dress I wanted and was told to pick it up in a few weeks. My sister went to pick it up for me and noticed that some of the beads were coming off the dress. She even mentioned that it didn't look like they had steamed clean the dress like they said they would. My sister requested that they order a new dress due to the loose beads and they gave her a hard time about it. They said they weren't allowed to order a new dress but after my sister kept pressing it, they said they would check to see if they had my size. They finally ordered a new one and when I came to pick it up, it took FOREVER. They don't have enough employees there to help with all the customers. All I wanted to do was to pick up the dress and I was standing in front of the register for about 45 minutes. I do not recommend this place at all. My friend who is getting married in October also got her dress from here and she said it is the worst place ever. She said that the person who helped her couldn't get anything right and gave her the wrong information.

I got a beautiful dress at a great price. The sales staff were busy and not overly helpful but I was able to find what I was looking for in the end.

Buting my dress at Davids bridal wasn't too bad. They don't really provide alot of assistance with dressing and selecting a dress from the rack. My problem came in when I needed my dress steamed. I refused to have alterations done there, due to the poor reputation of the seamstresses in the store where I shopped. BUT, I wanted my dress steamed, and they do it, so I took it back in. I dropped it off and was asked if I had a consultant. I can't remember- I bought my dress 6 months ago! I asked them to look in the computer-they said they would, and took the dress, telling me to pick it up in 2 weeks.
I showed up mid day on the day they told me to pick up, only to find that the dress had not been steamed. Shocker.
They said consultants are supposed to steam their own brides dresses, and becuase I didn't know who mine was, it didn't get done. They had my phone number and dress for TWO WEEKS and never called me. Plus, while I was there, some older, NON CONSULTANT indian gentleman was steaming dresses-doesn't look like a consultant to me! I told them I would be back the next day (Thurs) and when I came back, the seamstress gave me grief about coming on a non pickup day. I told her about the problems the day before, but she could care less. My dress was steamed, so I took it and left.
During my reception, I started to feel something funny in the bodice of my dress. I reached into the dress from the bottom, only to find one of the metal stays was coming out of my STRAPLESS dress (and I'm a amply endowed girl- I NEED those stays to keep the "girls" up!)
Its a shame some of the dresses are so pretty, but that is davids' only redeeming quality...

I used the David's Bridal in Woodbridge and I was less than impressed. I had to go with Davids bridal. Because of the range of sizes of my bridesmaids, it was too difficult to use a more specility store. My mom and aunt ended up being the one finding me dresses and the lady helping us acted like ti was an inconvience everytime we asked her for something.
I spend many times on the phone with an unorganized staff. I drove out to the store to pick up one of my girls dresses after getting an email that said it needed to be picked up in a week only to find it was being shipped to her. I knew the girls had the option to have their dresses shipped, but I had never checked with them. The lady treated me like I was dumb and should know that the email goes out automatically when the store recieves the dress and I could wait till all the girls dresses were in to pick them up.
Alterations guy was not very personable, but the lady was helpful and sweet.

I had a really great experience at this David's. I bought the first dress I tried on...after trying on several more. My consultant was very patient and listened to me...and my mom and my best friend's mom who were there too. All of my bridesmaids came with me and we were able to find my dress and theirs in about 2 hours. It was great. The lady in alterations was also sweet. She was very helpful and patient. We tried 3 different bustles during my fitting and she patiently changed it each time until we found the one that I liked best. It was great!

I bought my dress in a D.B. in Westbury, NY and I had it altered in a D.B. in Springfield, VA. My bridal party also bought their gowns at their local stores. David's Bridal was a great store for us to work with because all of us ladies live in different states. I was able to find a beautiful gown for a good price, and I was also able to pick up a lot of accessories at the same time, which was very convenient. They offer a lot of incentives for purchasing accessories with a dress, which can be a good deal. I was happy with my alterations, though I have heard that they are pricier than most independent seamstresses. I chose to have my alterations done at the store because they know their merchandise better than anyone, and the cost was worth peace of mind.
GUEST

the staff at DB was very helpful. I found a beautiful gown on sale for $99 originally $1000. I bought the gloves, jewerly, dress, veil at DB. Its literally a 1 stop shop. The bridesmaids dress, I was not to impressed with for the price.
GUEST

Great time finding my dress, did feel a little rushed even though I had an appointment. Bridesmaids dresses are limiting, and over priced along with the veil and bras.
I also never got a call about the dresses coming in.
Amy(store manager) was very helpful, she has lots of hints and ideas about ways to overcome minor problems

I had a very inconsistent experience. On my first visit, Oddessy helped me and she was truly great and was everything I had expected in sales asociate ( I work retail as well so I know what too look for). I don't like to get all dressed up in dresses and was hesitant about the whole experience. I went on a weekday afternoon to avoid the weekend crowds and had the entire store to myself for the most part and with Oddessy's help had chosen a gown in the first 30 min and best of all it was $99. I wasn't expecting to buy that day- but did. After that, it kinda of went down hill. We had stopped in at different times for shoes, junior bridesmaid dresses, etc. I seemed to get the same sales person who seemed bored and uninterested- I would rather help myself than deal with that and eventually I just blew her off. She would be there in the beginning and then wander off without returning. Then I had to deal with alterations for my dress- their prices were HORRIBLE and I just could not deal with their prices. SO I called the store and asked if I took the dress elsewhere for alterations would they still complete the beadwork that they promised to fix (since the dress was $99 and hung around for awhile, a lot of beads had fallen off and strings sticking out everywhere), she said they would and to bring it back after the laterations were done. Well, then I called back to cancel the appt I had made before deciding to take the dress elsewhere and was told that they will not touch the dress since I had taken elsewhere. I was horror struck and panicked b/c there were a lot of beading issues. Basically I was told I would have to wear it as it or get another dress. After discussing this with the alterations mgr, she agreed to make a few adj to make the dress look "decent" - yeah that was the look I was going for- but it was better than nothing. I appreciate her for doing that , but I should have been made aware from the beginning and their website at the time was not as specific to these situations. The prices for tge dresses may not be bad, but prices for veils, tiaras, bras, & others stuff was too expensive and I did go elsewhere.

This store is horrible! I went here for my bridesmaid's dresses, and it was a truly horrific experience. One salesclerk in particular was very rude, to the point of calling my party an expletive when we told her that we were not finished trying on dresses (she wanted them for a party she was serving). We were shocked, to say the least. Avoid this store!
It is a shame, because the other David Bridal's store I used for my wedding gown (in MD) was a great experience, with extremely helpful clerks. So it's really just the Springfield, VA store.
GUEST

I found my David's Bridal experience to be easy and as not a big shopper that was great. I looked on line before I went which helped a lot to know the styles. Anne was very helpful when my sister and I went to try on dresses. I needed a larger size dress and they had plenty to try on. After going to a couple of other boutiques and finding nothing to try on, I went right back to Davids and purchased. Also, the wedding party could choose dresses in other parts of the US and in styles they preferred. My wedding guests commented numerous times how beautiful my dress was.
GUEST

My experience at David's Bridal was fine. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't fabulous. I got a pretty dress at a great price, which was my main aim. I felt beautiful on my wedding day, and I didn't spend a fortune. The staff there was pleasant enough to me, and for me the experience was decent.
GUEST

I just want to start by saying that I absolutely LOVED my dress, and I also really loved the bridesmaid dresses as well. However, I absolutely DID NOT like my experience working with the folks at this David's Bridal. I NEVER got a phone call saying that my dress was in, and the worst part of all, was that when my matron-of-honor was about to purchase her dress, in a different color, they said that the color was discontinued, and they couldn't do anything about it. I had all this information in their system, with the dresses picked out for each girl, and they never called me to tell me about this!! Needless to say, I had to change some of my wedding colors last minute, which was a pain. So in general, I was extremely happy with the product, the dresses, but their customer service, including the manager, was awful. I've read previous reviews of people not enjoying their service with David's Bridal, and now I know why!
GUEST

I picked my dress out online, went to the store told them what i wanted and that was it. I had my perfect dress. Everyone was very helpful in the beginning. Not very organized. I made appointments and there was always a problem with who was going to help me as they over booked themselves. Most everyone was very nice. Alterations i was a little disappointed with. I asked them to bring my dress up off the floor a little (several times) and they never did. Kind of argued with me that it was the way i was standing. (an it was not. the dress was to long) So now from me walking on it all day its torn. Take it from me (i am not a vocal person) tell them what you want and dont let them talk you out of it.

I found the perfect dress at David's Bridal in Springfield, Virginia. Their service isn't the greatest, but you can't beat the value. My dress was $250 on sale (normally $300). I tried on lots of dresses and it just turned out to be my favorite as well as the cheapest. I got so many complements on it, and no one new how cheap it was! It was simple, elegant, and best of all timeless. I shopped there in the middle of the day in the middle of the week, so take a day off from work to do it if you can, you will at least get better service that way. Great place for a bride on a budget.

It kind of annoyed me that I wasn't able to just walk in and try on wedding gowns! Maybe I am uncouth but it was still a bit surprising considering this wasn't some high end boutique. Regardless they have a beautiful array of dresses to choose from for a great value. I highly recommend searching their website before visiting the store to narrow down your selections and get a feel for what you like. Also they have some dresses available online only!
Be careful as the sales people don't always know the product and more than once they gave me a cream or ivory veil or dress instead of white.
I would go in closer to your event date - around 5 months before - so that you get dresses that are in your season and the latest styles.
Beware - fittings are expensive!

It was easy finding the right dress for the right price at david bridals.
Service was good.

I loved my wedding dress! It was a good price and it looked great in pictures. David's has a lot to choose from and all of their prices are pretty good.

David's Bridal was the first stop for our mother-of-the-bride and maid-of-honor dresses because they have such a huge selection of both color and design, and the prices are decent. We went the first time about six months in advance and my mom and maid-of-honor were able to narrow down their choices to 2 or 3 styles (I chose the color, and they chose the style they liked). The sales people were very friendly and helpful, bringing dresses directly to my friends in the fitting rooms and paying them compliments. We were confident we had plenty of time to make a choice, and as everyone wanted to try and lose a bit of weight before the big day, we decided to come again closer to the date. When you set up an appointment to come in, they take down the date of the wedding, and since the sales people said we had time to make a decision, we weren't worried. We came back at about three months prior to the wedding to make a final decision. The styles were chosen and sizes decided on and we thought everything was set - but when we went to the counter to finalize the orders, they told us that there was a slight possibility my maid-of-honor's dress wouldn't be ready in time. Apparently they make each dress as it's ordered - there is no warehouse full of dresses - and the style she'd chosen could take up to twelve weeks to complete! They make the dresses to a standard size, so the twelve weeks is not counting the time it would take to have it altered after it arrived. She asked about a second, and then a third style that she felt ok settling on, and was given the same answer. I couldn't believe we made it all the way up to the counter on our second visit before being told all of this. My mother decided to take the chance on her dress (hers was given an eight week time period), and ended up receiving it just in time. My maid-of-honor and I had no choice but to visit a handful of smaller stores trying to find a dress in the right color (who knew baby blue formal dresses were so hard to find??), and had to settle on a pretty but off-shade of blue from a tiny dress shop in Potomac Mills.

My dress I picked out in July was discontinued as of August...and my wedding wasn't until June the girl at David's called 5 different stores to find my dress in my size. Got a GREAT price since it was discontinued :) and they had the matching veil. Alterations were perfect!
GUEST

David's is David's. They have a big selection, reasonable prices and they're everywhere. I found my dress there (which I loved) and got the bridesmaid's dresses there as well. Even though my bridesmaids live in different parts of the country, it was easy for them to get their dresses and find a style they liked (I chose the color and length; they did the rest). I was actually very impressed with the bridesmaids dresses - they have a lot of cute styles that you really could wear again. The David's website was also very helpful.
I didn't need many alterations to my dress, but that process was very easy. I thought their veils were expensive and bought mine online instead (www.veilshop.com is great). Also, try not to go here on a weekend...it's a madhouse. One thing that's really annoying is they do not have 360-degree mirrors...geez, even Sears has those! You're constantly trying to get a full view of yourself in the dress.

Got my bridesmaids dresses through them and they had an amazing variety and I was able to find the perfect color, they came in very quickly and were wonderful quality!

Probably one of the most important aspects of planning for your wedding is finding your wedding dress. This is the thing you want to take your time finding and not feel rushed or pushed. The consultant I had when I was there was patient and very kind with me. I tried on numerous dresses and kept coming back to try on more. I never felt rushed or pushed. The quality of the dress was comfortable and it was beautiful. They have such a wide variety of dresses and prices so you can find one that fits you and your budget. They are the nicest people at Davids Bridal and they work with you to make sure everything fits. They have many sales throughout the year and the nice thing is you can get your dress, veil, headband, shoes, garter, and bridesmaid dresses all in the same place! And the cool thing about Davids Bridal is their exact colors can be found at Mens Warehouse for the guys' tuxes, so you can be sure everyone matches exactly!

I found my dress after only trying on 5 dresses. A lot of the dresses were too expensive for my budget but one of the ladies that was working with me found me one that was only $199 because it was discontinued. And, it was actually a style that I was looking for but all of them were way too expensive. My bridesmaid dresses are from here too, they were about the same price as my dress and they looked really amazing.

Davids Bridal worked well for me during my wedding process. I found out halfway through my year long wedding planning that i was pregnant. I had not gone to pick up the original dress that I had ordered 4 months prior when I went in and told them I needed to exchange. They gave me the exchange without a problem. The only drawback was that the new dress was 100 less the old dress and they gave me a store credit. I was perfectly fine with that but they said I HAD to use the store credit that day! I didn't have my bridesmaids with me or anything so I couldnt even use the money to help them out! I ended up buying misc. items that I thought would come in handy.
At my final fitting the seamstress told me that they had discovered while pressing the dress that there was a hole in the train. It wasn't that noticable but the fact that a hole was in the dress upset me a little.
The store manager offered me 15% off after I had to spell it out for her that regardless of whether or not my guests would notice it, I bought a dress from them that had a hole in it. I had my fianl fitting 2 days before the wedding and I had it altered to fit my pregnant body so she knew they had me in a position where i nedded that dress.

David's bridal had a great variety of wedding and bridesmaid dresses, and I absolutely loved how we all looked on the wedding day! They were quite easy to work with, and the tailoring was good. The value is probably the best part of David's Bridal... they have great deals! They also have lots of good accessory options. I would recommend this to someone who wants to look great on their wedding day and doesn't care about designer names.

I never thought I would find myself at David's Bridal, but that is where I bought my dress. For me the most stressful thing about the wedding was getting the dress. If there is one thing I have learned, the wedding dress business is a racket. Most salons only have sizes up to a 10 and then want you to guess what the dress will look like on you. Once you order the dress it is yours, sight unseen. This idea is very stressful. David's Bridal in Springfield put my mind at ease. Not all the employee that work at the Springfield store are passionate about what they do, but I want to take note of the staff there that I found exceptional. Joy was the woman I tried dresses on with and she was great in bringing me dresses and not getting upset by all of the dresses I wanted to try on. She always had a smile on and was extremely helpful. The next person I found extremely helpful was the assistant manager Melissa. I cannot say enough good things about her. She knew the inventory and when I asked her for bridesmaid dress for my pregnant friend she pulled the dresses for me without blinking an eye. When it came to suggestions about a dress for me she was just as helpful. Once I decided on my dress she did everything to make sure I was happy with my dress even if it meant exchanging it when the dress I ordered was too big to be altered. She was willing to work with me and that professionalism is PRICELESS. She worked with me and the seamstress to get my dress the way it needed to be. The seamstress manager is very skilled and you will have confidence in her ability to get the job done. I cannot thank David's Bridal enough. EVERYONE kept commenting on how wonderful my dress looked and asked where I got it. When I told them they could not believe it. Neither will you. Give them a shot you will be satisfied. I thought the alteration charges were reasonable.
GUEST

My dress was so cute. Aside from that though, their tailoring services where phenomenal. My dress had a ton of beading on it, and nothing was messed up or placed wrong during alterations and for mine, they had to move A LOT of beads and lace around. So I was very impressed with the lady who did the alterations, and the cost wasn't bad either.
GUEST

You get what you pay for and I was okay with that. The dress looked great and I didn't worry about it later in the evening. First interaction with the alterations department was a nightmare, but they came through in the end. Even though it all worked out I might consider buying the dress there and getting it altered somewhere else.

The bridesmaid dress I selected was on the clearance rack at David’s Bridal. I definitely suggest this, especially if you have a smaller bridal party. The cost of the dress was originally $180, but was on clearance for $59.99. The David’s Bridal in Springfield was where I originally found it, and so I called other David’s Bridal’s across the US (and Puerto Rico) to get the remaining dresses. They will ship directly to your home for an extra $15, so each girl ended up spending only $75. I would definitely recommend this tactic to save the girls money. My only issues with David’s Bridal is that that don’t keep their database updated well enough, so one store says that there is a size 2 in Wisconsin and that store will have already sold it but the database wasn’t updated yet. This happened on multiple occasions. My other issue is that their dresses are made overseas where there is less quality control, so a size 4 could really be a size 2 or a size 6. This only happened in one case with my bridesmaids, but I’ve heard about this problem from other brides, as well.
GUEST

Davids Bridal provided gorgeous dresses for my bridesmaids and my dress was amazing. Their alteration costs are a bit high but my dress was just fantastic.
GUEST

David's Bridal was great. My dress was beautiful and was a great value. I'm not big on spending a lot of money on a wedding dress so David's was perfect for me. My dress cost only $300 and I felt great in it. Also, it was nice to be able to try on tons of dresses in my size vs at a traditional wedding shop when you can only try it on in an "average" size. I was happy with the alterations as well. They were quick and great. The seamstress even steamed my veil and took a stain out for me even though I didn't purchase it at the store (I used my mom's veil).
We purchased our flower girl dress from David's and it was perfect.

I had three bridesmaids, all of various sizes. I took my maid of honor there to choose a dress for the girls. There was a very wide selection of styles with lots of different colors. We were greeted by a salesperson shortly after entering the store. The one thing I liked was this salesperson was not too pushy and let us look around on our own but was easily accessible to answer questions when we had them. We chose a one-piece apple red, satin A-line dress with some embroidery in the front and an envelope back. I also bought my wedding shoes from here. The shoes were a bit expensive for the short amount of time I wore them. I wore them for the ceremony, pictures, and dinner and first dance…but changed into slippers for dancing. I give David’s a 4 because everything was available at a decent price and suited my needs, but nothing really wowed me.

David’s Bridal was a disaster for my girl’s dresses. It took me a long time to find dresses that would flatter my girls differing shapes and sizes from size 4 to size 20. I did find the dresses but then when I ordered the sizes for the girls they all came in multiple sizes too big. There is no excuse for this. The charts for sizes should be all that you need but in my case our dresses which were $120 became close to $220 each after the multiple alterations that had to be done. I know that they do mass quantities and they are considered quick and easy but you really get what you pay for.

The staff at Davids bridal did a great job and everything was on time for my wedding1 They have a HUGE selection and all different sizes in the store. I was very pleased!

I would highly recommend any bride to get there wedding gown at David's Bridal. You can get almost any gown imagine and at a price that won't leave you in debt for years. I was able to find my gown online and when I got to the store, I tried on the gown and it was perfect. David's Bridal not only made it easy to find my gown, but also helped make it affordable. I still have guests raving about how beautiful my gown is, even after the wedding!

Wow I have nothing but great things to say about this location. Yolanda (manager) and Michelle A. were AMAZING!!! They listened and were EXTREMELY helpful and understanding. It does get a bit crazy on a weekend morning at the store but even then they always had a smile on their faces.

Picking out the dress at David’s Bridal was a lot of fun and the assistants were very helpful. They let me try on as many dresses as I wanted and take photos (something most other salons did not allow). They had a large variety of styles and sizes and they also had ivory dresses, not just white ones. I went with an ivory dress actually. They also had veils and bras to try on with the dress which was very helpful. I bought both there as well. They helped me to arrange my alterations appointment and were just overall very helpful.
I bought my dress at David’s Bridal and had discounts for the bridesmaids dresses there so my two bridesmaids ended up getting their dresses at David’s. I wish they had more of a style selection but the colors were great. I wanted my bridesmaids to get something they may wear again instead of just another dress for the wedding. Unfortunately they really didn’t have the most gorgeous dresses available and my bridesmaids will never wear the dress again probably. The staff was very helpful though and the dresses came in when they said they would. They were moderately priced although I wish they were a little cheaper since the dress was only for a one-time occasion.
The alterations lady at David’s Bridal was very rude to me and refused to cut out the bottom of the dress as I wanted (I wanted the puffy stuff gone and she refused). She said she would do it after I paid, which I did. I came back weeks later and she had not cut out the puffy stuff because she said it would make the dress fall flat as I had a pickup dress style. I ended up cutting it out at the reception because it was itchy and hot. Other than that experience, they did a great job fitting the dress exactly to my body and I felt great wearing it.

I tried to walk in at David's and the lady was so snotty, she said I needed an appointment. Shrugging this experience off, I did end up making an appointment. I saw a couple dresses there I liked, but honestly the girls are so uppity there that I couldn't spend my money in a place like that.

David's bridal is a nice place to look for wedding dresses because they offer such a large variety of dresses. You can also try the dresses on in your exact size so you can really see what they look like on. The staff and the process of dress shopping is not as nice though. The staff often overbooks appointments which leaves some brides on their own to find dresses. David's also sells the dresses right off the floor. The dress I picked was ordered so I did not have to worry about it being dirty but most of the time the brides take their dress home with them that day. Since people are trying on those dresses; they are often pretty dirty. David's also sells their dresses at a great price and often has sales on top of that.
David's Bridal was a great place to find bridesmaid dresses. Since they offer such a large variety in allowed me to really look for the color and style of dress I wanted. David's also has the bridesmaid dresses in all different sizes so my girls were able to try on their dresses in their size. Which saved them on alterations. They also had the dresses ordered and available for the girls way before the wedding date. David's also offers shoes to match which can be dyed to match the dresses or left as silver. The costs for the bridesmaids dresses were very reasonable. All of my bridesmaids were happy with the dresses they received and options that were offered to them.
