For a large chain, the girls here were very nice & helpful when I was picking out my bridesmaid dresses. They have a great selection of styles & colors at affordable prices. My girls loved their dresses (& the price!) & they all looked beautiful!

Looking for my wedding dress was a wonderful experience. I'd gone to other places besides David's Bridal, however the staffing at David's was exceptional! They were helpful and always made follow up calls to me. And I found the perfect dress for myself!

Davids Bridal was the best option to purchase my dress and bridesmaids attires at. The Strongsville store is a very busy one, but all of the employees take the time to help and give you the attention you deserve as a bride and or relatives of the bride. My dress was perfect and the alterations department did a magnificent job on my dress. The bustle and length were the only alterations required but were perfect and to my liking. The value is good, but just like all brides know everything bridal has a markup. Despite that all of my items purchased at David's, dress and headpiece, were the best and complemented each other perfectly! I also had to make some returns through out the planning process and they allowed some exchanges. Great customer service throughout!

I was very disappointed with David's Bridal. It felt like they wanted you to buy and dress and get you out of the store. I picked out the dress I wanted and my bridesmaids were trying on their dresses still, the lady that was helping us told me to go to the register to pay so I can go to the alterations department. When I came back, my bridesmaids were moved to a different dressing room in the corner with no mirror and they told me that they stopped helping them find sizes and styles of the dresses. I was so aggravated. I would have returned my dress in a heartbeat and went somewhere else if I knew they only cared about getting paid and pushing me in and out of the store. NEVER AGAIN will I tell anyone to go here!!!

Rude, rude, rude! The Strongsville location was horrible! I went for my very first time to try on a dress and the sales lady was just rude. I brought a list of dresses for myself and my bridesmaid's and she lost it. The dress I really wanted to try on was 4 sizes too big and she wouldn't bring one that was appropriately sized. She didn't help he try on or give helpful suggestions. I was the only person in the store and she acted like I was bothering her. I ended up buying my dress and returning becuase she ordered the wrong size and after she said they could cut the train off, when I picked it up she told me they don't do that. I purchased a new dress from the Great Northern store. The sales women at that store were wonderful. All of the bridal party bought from Great Northern without a problem.




I found my wedding dress at David's and I love it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I didn't feel rushed or unattended to. The only drawback with the company is that they sell your information if you sign up with them. (Which is difficult not to do if you purchase a gown through them!)
Now I get a bunch of wedding junk mail everyday...
Update: My gown arrived and everything went well. Now my BM's are in the process of purchasing their gowns at a discounted price. :)

The people at David's were AMAZING when I was picking out my dress...but getting alterations done there was a different story! It was a nightmare. When I picked out my dress I was 4 months pregnant, so I bought the dress 2 sizes too big to ensure that I would fit in it when my wedding day arrived. Well I had my first fitting with alterations done a month before my wedding. I had scheduled to do a second fitting a week before my wedding to make sure I didn't lose anymore weight because I was breast feeding. I go back a week before my wedding and they tell me they havent even started yet because they thought I wanted to do my final fitting the day before my wedding! I freaked out and asked if I could change that to get done asap! So they scheduled me in for the following wendsday. When I go there again on wednsday, they tell me that they are still not done and I'll have to come back tomorrow. They did not even have the professionalism to call me and let me know this, they let me drive all the way there and then tell me. Needless to say, the dress turned out amazing, but there was just too much hassel to be giving a bride around the day of her wedding. If I could do it all over again and get the same dress somewhere else, I would go somewhere else.

Their customer service is horrible. I made multiple appointments that when i showed up I was not written in their book. Also the wedding dress seamstress was very rude to me because of her language barrier. She basically told me I needed a bigger dress and that my chest wasnt "va vooom" enough for her. She did not speak nice to me at all.On the brighter side I loved my wedding gown and would buy a dress from their again. However I would get it fixed someother place.

My dress was beautiful and very affordable, and the Clearwater, FL location was very flexible with my schedule when I needed to have it cleaned and pressed. Unfortunately, the service (at the North Canton, OH location where I originally bought the dress) was horrifying every time I walked into the store. My mother-in-law ordered her dress from that store, and they never called her to tell her it was in! They sent me an email to tell ME that it was in, but it went to an address I rarely check, and 3 weeks went by before I saw it! When I asked her if she'd gone in to pick it up, she told me that she'd never been contacted to see if it was in. My mother also had to order a dress, but it was on backorder, and they couldn't tell if it would be in by the wedding date or not. She asked if she could get a written statement saying that she would get a refund if it didn't arrive (because of their VERY strict "no refund" policy) and they refused. They said that if it didn't arrive, it was her problem and not theirs, and that she would end up paying for a dress that she might never have a chance to wear. Finally, this location had MALE sales representatives trying to get into our fitting rooms! Some women may be okay with this, but my mother and mother-in-law are the modest type, and they were absolutely mortified to have men assisting them as they tried on dresses. Very unprofessional! It doesn't matter how great the prices are; I'd never recommend David's Bridal.

I picked my dress and the girls' dresses from David's because of the price and locations. I loved my dress but took it to an independent taylor because David's is so expensive for alterations. My girls were able to pick a dress that suited their budget and body type in a color that I wanted.

Took awhile for my wife to find a dress but finnally found one here. Decent pricing and everything fit great.




I got my dress and the 3 bridesmaid and the flowergirl dresses there. They were great in the selection of colors and styles not to mention the ladies who help with the hemming etc. They all did a great job and everything came in on time. They were all friendly and curteous. I would defintely recommend them to all future brides. They also help with the clearance dresses too, they do work within your budget, make sure you let them know that.
Bridesmaid dresses: again same as above. They were great at helping them all out when I wans't there too. They had all their names, color and size. They tried them on and then they ordered them. You could either get them hemmed right there, then they call when they all come in. The people were really great on everything. Everything went smoothly. I would recommend them to all brides. They also have a great color selection and sizes, if they don't have your size in the dress you want, you try one on close to it etc and they can tell you what you need done. They know what size you will need. It was great to see these people at work. All of them help eachother out, not just one person. They give you good tips and can help you accessorize with shoes, bags, jewelry etc. Let them help you, it's your day.
Alterations: I had a great experience with everyone who did alterations there. They were pleasant and on time with everything. They also throughly explained how the process works, I learned from them and respected them a little more after they did all of that work for just my dress let elone all the other dresses they had to do in that amount of time. It was a very busy season then. They even had a great time with my dauughter the flower girl who was 5. They were just pleasant to work with. You can ask them anything and they were eager to help. They know how us brides can be, when we are nervous and want everything to just be perfect, and they do strive to achive that for all of us. They are just great.

I got my dress and bridesmaids dresses from here. I was very happy with my dress and bridesmaids' dresses. The order for the bridesmaids came in weeks before they said it would, which was a huge plus.

they lost my bridesmaids shoes. fittings weren't correctly measured on the girls... all wrong. sold us a flower girl dress (should have been 2T) marked a 2t but was really a 3 on the inside tag... had nothing but problems.

I loved my dress, and it was super cheap. I also took it in the week before to get it pressed and altered and they did. I got charged a "rush" fee but that was expected.The one issue I had was that I was told my girls all had to order their dress from the same place because of a "dye lot" thing. 3 of them were from Cleveland, one lived in New York. The first three got theirs ordered quickly, but we were told they would hold off on sending the order in until they got the last order. The first 3 girls got their dresses before the last one even put her order in! Then they made her pay extra shipping because the dress "had to be ordered from the same store" because of the "dye lot"...sounds fishy to me...Oh, and if you have a not-normal-sized flower girl, make sure you order the dress at least 2 months ahead of time. My flower girl's mom had to make her outfit because she was bigger and they said they wouldn't have the outfit ready when she tried to order it 2 months before the wedding.

The dresses were nice, but they will nickel and dime the bridesmaids for alterations. It turned out to be way too expensive after the final sale of the dresses.

All of the ladies were exceptionally friendly and seemed genuinely interested about our wedding. I gave them a 3 star for professionalism because they kept things professional, yet were friendly and not "cold". I think being over professional is a downfall in most businesses. This store was perfectly balanced! Prices varied accordingly and were fair. We called almost at the end of the day and even with short notice everyone was more than happy to help us in anyway. Service was such that it should be commended and used as an example.

The staff was extremely helpful. They may not always remember a name, but they definitely remember a face. Every time I went into the store, whether it be to get my dress or my bridesmaid dresses, they had suggestions and allowed me to voice my opinion. When my mom asked for some help, our sales associate was not afraid to ask mom questions about styles or what she liked. She then choose several dresses for mom to try and help make her decision. I had been to another store and the sales associate was more interested in what my maid of honor thought and had to say than what I did. I would definitely recommend this particular store over many others. The prices were not outrageous and they had a lot of different styles. The store also carried dresses in several different sizes so that anyone of any size is welcome to come and look around for the perfect dress.

My dress from David's Bridal was beautiful! I went about 3 times to try on dresses and to pick one out. Each time I had a different sales person helping me. The first one I had was great, the second one was not good, and the third one was great. They helped me pick out all of the accessories and things I needed to go with my dress.My bridesmaids also got their dresses from David's Bridal. They all tried on dresses in the store and ordered them. When they got in, 2 of the 4 dresses did not fit the girls at all. The sizes they tried on in the store fit, but the dresses that came in were way too small. Luckily, they were able to exchange them for a different size, but it was a pain to have to keep taking them in. Make sure you order your dresses way in advance there so that if there are problems, you will be able to get them resolved in time for your wedding.

Everything was great at David's Bridal. There was one snag with my headpiece that I had to complain about to get anything done, but other than that they were great!!

I have never had a problem with a David's Bridal before, but this store was the absolute worst. They had to order my dress and they told me they would call me the moment it came in the store and they would ship it the next day. They ended up calling me about 3 days after it arrived in their store (I found that out from the tracking number on the box). Then it took them about a week to actually get around to shipping the dress because they were "busy." I finally had to call the Corporate office and complain to get them to ship my dress overnight because I told them I would refuse the dress and go to another David's Bridal to get my dress if I didn't have it the next day. The Corporate office didn't do any more than make them ship the dress that day, which greatly surprised me. That store completely ruined my whole experience of buying my wedding dress, which should be one of the highlights of planning your wedding.

Great if you only have 3 months to plan a wedding. They have everything there and you don't have to wait months upon months to get your dresses in. The only thing I didn't like was the altering. It didn't look very professional.

Overall good experience. Bought my dress, 7 bridesmaids dresses, 3 flower girls dresses and 1 Godmother. Price was reasonable compared to other places. Excellent to work with when you have ppl living in all different areas since there are David's everywhere!

Very poor attention paid to me. When I walked into the store intent on buying my wedding dress, I was informed very rudely that I would not be seen without an appointment. No one offered to make an appointment for me or offered any assistance what-so-ever. They ended up loosing over 1200 worth of sales because of the attitude
