I absolutely loved the Tampa location. I went the first time, really not expecting to find "the dress". The consultant did have another girl that she was helping, but I didn't mind since it gave me and my bridesmaid a few moments alone to talk about the dress I had on. I did not feel any pressure to pick a dress. The consultant stayed within my price range and was extremely supportive and friendly. After many dresses, I found "the one"! But it was the first place I went looking for dresses, that I didn't want to commit right then and there. My consultant had no problem with me shopping around. She gave me all the info I needed and said she hoped to see me again. I went to 7 other places and kept thinking of the dress from David's Bridal. Two weeks later, I go back in, try it on one more time and ordered it. I was told it would take 4 months, I got it in 3 months. I picked up my dress today and they were still just as friendly as they were before.I have no complaints about the Tampa location. They were great. I will recommend this location to anyone I can. Thanks for helping make my wedding experience a pleasant one!

I began my dress search completely against the idea of buying a dress through David's Bridal, but then I fell in love with one of their Vera Wang designs. Although I continue to love my dress and am glad I went with it, David's Bridal's service left something to be desired. I had no issues with my dress, but the customer service representatives were continuously rude or had attitude with every request. As an extremely laid-back person and bride, I don't believe I was ever unreasonable, yet each time I left David's Bridal, I was frustrated. Bottom line, I loved my dress, but would have loved to find it somehwere else.

I loved the attention tbe proffesionalism everything about my experience with davids bridal

I love my dress that I chose and I thought I got a very good price on the dress itself. The only thing I rate differently is that the alterations lady did not want to pull my dress is as much as I wanted. She was telling me I was taking it in too much and I told her that was what I would be happy with. In the end the dress fit PERFECTLY (with the way I wanted it altered) I think David's Bridal does overcharge for some of their alterations though. If you have a bridesmaid looking to get it altered I would recommend going to someone local who can do it at a much lower price. Overall, I LOVED my dress!

I had a huge issue with my bridal consultant when I ordered my dress. First of all, she quoted a price to me that was incorrect and when I asked if the dress could be altered and the train could be removed...she said that she wasn't sure if they could do that in alterations, but that I could ask (the dress was available for order without a train...she never even bothered to check). I decided to order the dress and after I paid and went home...I noticed that she had ordered me the wrong dress. I had to go back to the store (because no one was answering the phone) and got the right dress ordered. I again went back home to realize that I had been over-charged. I called and this time, thankfully...someone answered the phone. They put the consultant on the phone who informed me that I had been charged the correct price-that she had in fact, mis-quoted me. Instead of honoring the price she had quoted...she suggested that I loose weight and order a regular size instead of a women's sized dress (which is more expensive). I did write to the district manager who called me and addressed the issue with myself and the consultant...she also honored the original price I was quoted. Pleased with the service I received from the manager, I returned for my dress alterations.I do NOT suggest getting alterations done at David's Bridal. THIS is where they make up on the great prices of the dresses. I paid almost as much for alterations that I did for the dress! I also asked for the extra fabric that was hemmed off the bottom and don't think they gave me all of the material. I had a corset back put in that needed to be re-done because it wasn't to my standards. Other than the minor issues I had (that were all dealt with), I say buy your dress there-just go somewhere else for alterations! Like Dorca's on West Kennedy. Got my other dress altered here and her prices are great and she's wonderful with what she does!

First off my experience looking for a wedding dress with them was AWFUL. The consultant handed me about 8 dresses and disappeared. I had no idea how to get into the dresses and needed different things, however she was no where to be found. She was not attentive at all. The store was a mad house even though I had an appointment and no one cared. My bridesmaids ended up finding their dresses here and I can not say they had a great experience either. This location is awful. I have been to other davids bridals in other states and have had much better results. DO NOT GO HERE.

After buying my first (that's right my first) wedding dress, not from David's Bridal and understanding that it was not the right dress for me. I decided to go and try on some dresses to see if I liked anything. Well I found my dress that I loved to much. It was on clearance so I bought it as-is on the spot, which was a blessing because my wedding was 4 weeks away and was able to get my alterations done within a week. Ali did all my alterations and did a wonderful job. The dress looked fantastic on me and I am so thankful that I was able to find it. Thank you David's Bridal!

I had no problems with the purchase of my dress. I loved the dress and it was a great price. The sales girl was very helpful. The jewelry/tiaras were way over priced so I bought online and borrowed from friends. My biggest issue was with the alterations department. It was chaos. The only thing done correct was the hemming of the dress. I asked for completely detachable straps to be added and they attached them, I asked a broach be tacked on tightly and it flopped around barely sewn onto the dress. The worst was the bustle. It looked horrible. When we were there for the fitting they told us nothing would be visible from the back. I made it clear I did not want to be able to see anything as it was a very simple dress. She assured us nothing would be seen it would all be underneath. When I got the dress back you could see a row of small stitches towards the bottom and a huge row of stitches across the middle. The small stitches were not very visible but the upper row was unacceptable and looked horrible. The lady kept saying it's hard to explain how we do this and that it's the only way, it's the least visible...there was a girl right next to me who had a similar bustle done on her dress and only the lower small stitches were showing. After my mother and I did not accept the alterations they said' "Well, we can remove it and attach it to the lining instead of the dress (which is what should have been done in the first place). I was worried that since the stitching was fairly tight I would end up with holes in my dress but I asked them to please try to fix it. I got my dress back and it was 100% better all the issues were addressed and it looked great. I would suggest them for purchasing a dress but I would not recommend using them for alterations as it was VERY expensive and poorly done the first time around.

:) The girls at the Orlando David's Bridal are great. They worked so well with me with every detail for my bridal attire. Even 2 months before my wedding going to change my dress they still helped me and they did an great job helping. I am so happy with the second dress they helped me pick. It was so me & I loved it!

I didn't purchase my dress at David's bridal - but, they were the first place I looked at for my wedding dress. Actually, if they had a closer location other than Clearwater or Tampa, I probably would've purchased my dress there. The service was great! However, after my first visit and up until I married, they kept harassing me with email alerts, phone calls and mailers, even after I told the representative I had already purchased my dress elsewhere. I understand marketing works - but, not when you're practically nagging for business. I'm sorry, but I felt like I was being punished for not purchasing my wedding dress at their store.
GUEST

I LOVED Davids Bridal! I bought my wedding dress from them as well as my veil, slip and tiara. We also got our bridesmaid dresses from them (loved them) and flower girl dress. They are wonderful to work with and make you feel relaxed. We weren't rushed at all and took our time deciding on what was best for our special day. I would definitely recommend their services! I also used them to alter my dress and everything came out perfectly!

I had no problems with Davids. I decided on the dress that I liked and tried it on one size larger. It seemed that I may have been able to fit into the next size down, but Davids didn't have it in stock. This would have been my only complaint but I was able to try it on at another location and Davids could have brought one in to my home store, so I can't really complain. I had to order a long length dress; it arrived much faster than expected. I had one round of alterations done with Davids and had no complaints. I also had a pair of shoes purchased from and dyed by Davids. I never had any negative interactions with any Davids staff. I suppose I was lucky...

I walked into David's Bridal not knowing if I would find "the dress". I had only one in mind that I wanted to try on there. Wouldn't you know it was the dress I actually purchased and wore! It was on sale for $300 off which was excellent. The manager even said that was the dress she wore on her wedding day. The girl helping me so nice (even though they were super busy and she was running around) and she seemed into my whole dress process of finding the right one. I am happy I found my dress at David's Bridal!-Abbie from Tampa
GUEST

The David's Bridal in Tampa was a truly horrific experience for me. I bought my dress at the DB in Richmond, and I took it to the Tampa store for alterations as this is where I live. First, when I went in for my fitting, they took my dress, and then I waited for over an hour for someone to come get me to start the fitting. No one ever did. I just assumed they were busy. No. Someone hung my dress up in the back, and no one was told I was there with my dress although I had an appointment and they had taken my dress. Also, this day, the bathrooms were out of order, which was not fun considering I'd been waiting for over an hour. When I went back for my final fitting, they'd messed up my alterations. The halter had been brought up so much that I couldn't lift my head, and the pads to the newly built in bra were now well above where they "should" have fallen on my bust. They were only able to fix the problem so much as they'd cut off too much of the halter. Granted, it was much better than when we'd started, but it was still not perfect. They had to bring the bra padding down to accommodate for the wrongfully adjusted halter line. Not to mention, when they brought the halter up so much, it shifted the dress and the way it fit. So it went from being a perfect fit on my back to being slightly too tight. The seamstress did not mention or accommodate for that possible problem. I will say that they were responsive with the final fitting in trying to resolve the problem, but I would never go back. I paid $150 for the alterations, which were not correct, and I didn't even get an apology.

I bought my dress through Davids Bridal online. I had set up an appointment to have it fitted, and when I had arrived, I had stood around, for about 30 min past my appointment only to get extremely mad, and leave. My husband called and went off on the the management staff, so they in turn set me up another appointment. I didn't receive my dress back from alterations as soon as they said, and when I ordered my bridesmaids dresses from there, they took longer to come in then my wedding dress did. When they finally came in, they did not call and notify me like i had requested, instead they called my bridesmaids who one lives out of state to tell her she could come pick up her dress here in Tampa, not quite sure what they were thinkin, or if they were at all. So needless to say, if I have to recommend a bridal shop to anyone, I will tell them not to go there, because the customer service was well below average, and it seems like they are hearding cattle in this store to try and get people in and out. Unbelievable.....
GUEST

I purchased my dress at David's and it was beautiful. The alterations were a little pricey but my quality of service when I first went in was perfect with an appointment. Wanda was a huge help.
GUEST

Everyone was very kind and helpful until I purchased the dress. I was forced to do my fitting in January, 6 months before my wedding. I wanted to wait to lose some weight but they would not let me and said I can come back in 4 months, and pay to have it altered a second time! Also, all my information for dresses and shoes for bridesmaids and flower girls was lost. I had to go back into the store and pick everthing out again and was then forced to wait 2 hours on the check out line. I was in disbelief since they were the ones that messed it up. I felt like they stopped caring as soon as I paid for my dress.Alterations also lied to me and told me it would only take 3 days to have 4 dresses pressed and when I showed up they could not have them ready until the day before the wedding!! This was after I called TWO TIMES and asked how long it would take!I would recommend finding somewhere else to buy your dress and bridesmaid dresses!
GUEST

I went to the Clearwater location-I LOVED my dress but the service was horrible! I ordered a wedding, 5 bridesmaid dresses, a purse and six pairs of shoes from davids bridal... do you think I could get a little service please! Every time one of the dresses came in Davids did not call me, I had to call them and check in to see if my order was in. When I was picking out my dress my consultant was friendly. My dress was beautiful and so were my bridesmaid dresses, but it was like pulling teeth to get them. They are crazy for what the want to charge for alterations. They wanted to charge half the price of my dress!!!! No way! So if you can deal with horrible service I would give them a try because I did love my dress.
GUEST

I LOVED my dress but the service at this place was HORRIBLE!!!!! The only reason I gave them service was because I fell in love with the dress. While I was trying on dresses the lady kept on bringing me dress styles I specifically told her I did not like and not only that but she also kept bringing me dresses out of my budget range. Then she disappeared for over a half an hour. It was horrible. Also when I went to pay off my dress I got to try it on and low and behold the gave me the wrong corset bra! It was seriously 3 cup sizes too big and the wrong style!! and when I said something the manager was like are you sure this isn't your bra? So they had to search for one that was my size in the style I originally wanted. and guess what they found one an hour later and it was also $30 cheaper. about a month before the wedding I had to get my dress cleaned so me and my fiance dropped it off and the troll I mean lady that works behind there is very rude and unhelpful. I suggest anyone looking for a good experience with buying your dress to NOT go here. They will ruin this moment for you. I will never ever step foot in another david's bridal ever again...even when I get remarried up in PA next year.
GUEST

Horrible. This place is out of their minds, I bought the first dress I tried on, and loved the dress, but each fitting and ? I had the employees had no clue what they were talking about. I would call re; a fitting and they acted as though they had never heard of this before, I would show up on time for a fitting and no one would be in alterartion for hours since they forgot to look at the sched. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.
GUEST

I loved my dress and so did everyone else! I got it on sale and it was well worth it. My bridesmaid dresses were absoluelty lovely as well. I bought my shoes there and so did the girls and everyone was very happy with what they got. The only hitch was when I drove from Lakeland to Orlando to pick up the jacket for one of the dresses it was opened or pressed as promised. But, I insisted it be done immediatley and it was. So I didn't have to drive back to Orlando, and that made me happy. Overall DB is a great store!
GUEST

I had an all around grest experience! Plus got a dress at a great price:)
GUEST

I got my dress on super-sale, and it seemed like the price of the dress determined the quality of service I was going to get. They also took forever for my bridesmaids dresses, and they never even called to tell us they were in. I finally called and they said "Oh yeah, we've had those dresses for 6 weeks!".They also charge an arm and a leg for alterations.
GUEST

I loved my dress. When I 1st went in there, I had one of the managers..Im plus size, and my friend that went with me is a 12. They had me try on the dresses she was so I could imagine what it would look like. The only reason I dealt with them was bc they have my dream dress. The alterations were expensive...more then what they qouted. Cost me 450$ to alter it. Dont have alterations done there if you dont have too. RIDICULOUS! The manager when I called and complained about them screwing my shoes up for the 5th time said and I qoute" we fixed it, what more do you want from us"? So when you deal with the Walmart of Bridal gowns, you get that kindda service.
GUEST

I love the dress that I found at Davids Bridal and purchased my bridesmaids dresses from there as well...however... It took me a few tries to find a 'consultant' that would actually help me and not take all day. They did not inform my girls when their dresses arrived as they said they would and then one of the people tried saying that there was something on one of them (luckily I knew that they came in a sealed bag or I would have gotten much more upset. Also, after my wedding I called Davids to see if they could recommend a cleaner that would clean my dress well and they said that they cannot recommend anyone. If they didnt have a dress I liked at a really good price ($450) I definitely would have gone somewhere else.
GUEST

I had my dress pressed the day before the wedding when I went to pick it up they had forgotten to put my train in the bag. They did deliver with no questions asked. The store is kinda dirty and dingy. The ladies were nice enough
GUEST

Their customer service is so-so..definitely not something to brag about. The bridesmaid dresses were priced well and very easy to coordinate with. I'd definitely recommend David's for bridesmaid/flower girl dresses, but not for wedding dresses.
GUEST

Everyone there is willing to make you feel stunning in the gowns you try on and its a wonderful experience. After your purchase(s), anyone who enters the phone never understands what your asking and they are all so snotty. Would go back if I HAD to but not willingly.
GUEST

I found my perfect dress at Alfred Angelo.... unfortunatly it was about 300 dollars over my max price. I found the same dress at davids bridal for a 100$ under my max price! I couldnt have been more thrilled! The store was busy everytime I went in, and it usually took between 10 and 15 minutes to get service. I was even more displeased with the service when my dress came in and no one called me to let me know! I came in with a bridesmaid to get her dress and asked about the due date of mine. It had been in for 2 weeks. Despite the poor customer service, I was very pleased with my dress.
GUEST

I loved my dress!!!What more can I say? very professional employees and dedication for their the job. I would recommend this guys.
GUEST

My dress was gorgeous but the people that helped us could have been a bit more pleasant. We also got the bridesmaids dresses there too. Pricing was fair. Their selection was not very big and the employees are a bit pushy. Overall, I got lucky but I would not limit myself to just this store.

I had no problems at Davids Bridal. My consultant was very kind and helped me out with great pride in her job.
GUEST

Davids Bridal provided me with my dream dress. I searchd many other stores and could not find what I wanted. When I walked into Davids, the staff was extremely friendly and did not try to pressure me into something they liked on me but were more interested in making sure I was happy. I ended up getting my bridesmaid dresses an my flower girl dresses there also. Thank you so much Davids Bridal!!!
GUEST

The dress was beautiful!! But the service was not great. We made an appoinment to make sure we had the help we needed. When we would ask the sales assc. a question she would leave to find out and wouldnt come back for 45 min. I bought my dress and all 4 bridesmaids dresses from them and just expected better service.
GUEST

Everyone LOVED the dress - I wanted to find something unique for a beach wedding, but not too casual. I was very happy with their service, and my bridesmaid dresses were so cute! The girls were very happy with the dresses, and everyone looked great. David's Bridal is a great vendor to work with on your special day.
GUEST

I got my dress from Davids bridal online collection & brought it to the store for alterations. They did an amazing job! When we went there to shop for bridesmaids dresses I called in advance to ensure that they had a size 16 dress for my sister (in town from NY) to try on & they assured me that they did. When we got there they did not have a single size 16 in any style at that store...very disappointing!
GUEST

Davids Bridal on Kennedy - The store was dirty. When I went to try on dresses, I didn't want to take my shoes off. The bathroom was gross. There were too many people running around with no help. The dresses didn't seem to be in any kind of order. Half of the ones I tried on were in some sort of disrepair. Then when I finally picked a dress, they charged a fortune for alterations, and all I needed was the dress to be hemmed. They said they would fix all the sequins and pearls, and even after I pointed out that they hadn't, and they promised again, when I went to get dressed for my wedding, I still noticed that the sequins and pearls were loose. Also, what is up with the $10 bag charge. On a $600 dress plus $200 for veil and hair piece, and another $200 (yes $200) for hemming and bustle, you would think they could include the plastic bag. I could go on and on, but please go somewhere else.
GUEST

The dress was amazing, the staff was very friendly and professional, and the price was good. I went in and one of the consultants quickly started helping me find dresses. She was very helpful in finding my dress. She went over the details and designs, and was extremely informative. She helped me pick a dress that would look best on me and not 'most women'. I really love the dress and would highly recommend going to David's Bridal, even if they're on a low budget, like me.
GUEST

None of my Bridesmaids live anywhere close to me, so I needed to find a place where they could all get their dress without going to the same shop. David's Bridal was the key. They have many locations with access to all the same dresses. Additionally, they allow pictures. My girls all went in and tried on a couple of dresses I had picked and sent me the pictures. I could see each of them in the dress and they could order their dress in the right size without dealing with phone orders or long distance orders. More importantly, the dresses were perfect and they all looked lovely!
GUEST

I call it the Wal-Mart of weddings. Good stuff, reasonable prices, the staff is mostly helpful.
GUEST

Bought my wedding gown and all of my bridesmaids dresses from David's. They even give you a deal if you buy them all at once. Saved tons of money! Also bought my veil, shoes, corset/slimmer and underskirt here. We got married in April which is a pretty busy season for weddings. Our assistant did the best she could but I think had too many clients at one time. I bought my dress and then took it to their in store seamstress to have the bustle done. Was done quickly. The dress you get off of the rack is the one you get so they go over it to make sure there aren't any defects and they steam it to get out any wrinkles. All in all would go back if I had another formal affair such as this to attend.
GUEST

David's has beautiful dresses, and their staff was very professional. They have specific times and days to do things however, and this is not always convenient for the entire bridal party. But all said, we are very happy with my daughter's dress and the service we received.
GUEST

Finding my dress at David's Bridal was a breeze. I found the most perfect designer dress originally $900 for only $299! The girl who helped me was amazing, she did not stop until I was completely happy. We ended up buying 9 bridesmaids dresses, a flower girl dress and all of my bridesmaids' gift through them as well.
GUEST

Getting appointments is easy, getting attention at those appointments is another story. they have 1 assistant per 3 brides i'd say which means your assistant is running all over the place and you spend a lot of time waiting. other than that, they have a lot of choices, but regardless of what you might pick, you'll see at least 4 other brides try on the same dress while you're there. kind of a let down but oh well. pricing is decent, alterations are relatively quick. i'd recommend buying accessories elsewhere though. the incidentals like shoes, veil, garter, can be found other places for a lot cheaper.
GUEST

I thought David's Bridal was a great value for the money. I purchased all of my bridesmaids shoes at David's and they purchased all of their gowns there. It was a great place for easy shopping with many varieties and styles to choose from.
GUEST

They are very pushy and way to hyper. NOt a laid back environment. definetly not for me. They are all about super model style people

i really liked my davids bridal

Just so we are clear I wore a size 16 at the time so I am not a skinny girl, I have been blessed with curves! If I was thinner a bridal boutique might have worked for me, but I am not!So here is my experienceI actually said to my Maid of Honor I was not going to get my dress at Davids because everyone gets their dress there and I wanted a one of a kind... so I searched and searched and searched again.I really didn't have a "look" I was going for I just wanted a dress that looked perfect on me. Only one bridal shop (except Davids) had a few dresses in larger sizes for me to try on just so I could get an idea of what I wanted. Did you know that (except Davids) at all bridal shops only carry sizes 2, 6, 8 & 12!!!!!! You actually have to order & pay potentially thousands of dollars for the dress you want with out even trying it on! (unless of course you fit into a 2, 6, 8 or 12)And if you don't fit in those sample dresses... oh well you have to order the size you think will fit and pray because there are NO REFUNDS!So I was willing to spend whatever I had to, to get my dress! But in no way was I about to spend over $1500.00 for a dress I could not even try on first! One of the bridal shop sales girls (also, not skinny) told me that at Davids I could try on pretty much every dress in my size!So off to Davids I went my intention was to only to try on the different styles so I could order a dress from the girl at the boutique. To my amazement they had tons of BEAUTIFUL well constructed dresses in my size and they get new styles every six months so not every bride has the same dress! So I bought an Oleg Cassini dress for less than $600.00 and every inch of it was perfect!I felt sexy & beautiful all night! I actually love it so much I have been considering having it shortened and died black so I can wear it out!-Mrs. Freeman

I was very pleased with the quality of all the dresses that were purchased. Alterations were a bit pricey and the sizes run very small. My wedding dress size was 3 sizes bigger than my normal dress size! Other than that, they were very helpful and professional, and provided beautiful garments. We also ordered our wedding invitations from their website and were extremely pleased with the results and the price.
GUEST

I had Natasha as a consultant. She did a fabulous job with me, my bridesmaids and my mother. We didn't exactly make it easy for her either but she was phenominal! The dresses were a bit overpriced but very worth it, the alterations department are so friendly and fun. Love it very much!
GUEST

found my bridesmaid dresses her, they were very trendy and a great colour. They can definitely wear their dresses for other occasions, which they were immensley greatful for. also, a reasonalble price, which they also really appreciated.
GUEST

I loved my dress. The sales associates are not the greatest, if you ignore that it is a great deal!

I honestly didn't want to spend several hundreds of dollars on a dress that I was only going to wear once, and honestly I just wanted something that was formal enough and beautiful to wear for the wedding. My mom, on the other hand, convinced me to at least check out David's Bridal, and I am glad that she did. I found a dress, the first and only one that I tried on, for almost $400. With alterations, I didn't pay more than $450. I was very happy with the dress, and it was apparent in the pictures that my mom took of me. They lose their stars though because the consultant that was helping me was VERY rude and pushy. I kept telling her that yes, I tried on only one dress, but it was THE dress. She kept trying to push me to buy something that was along the same lines but almost twice as much. My mom had to bring in the manager to finally explain that we were getting MY dress, and nothing else. They have beautiful dresses, their customer service just needs some serious work.
GUEST

I got my shoes, my veil, my bridesmaid's dresses and their shoes as well at David's bridal. WE LOOKED EVERYWHERE! We could not find a thing! Finally we went here and within an hour, we were done. The associates were amazing and even though they were swamped, treated us like we were the only ones in the store!
GUEST

I had a very good experience overall with David's. I found the perfect dress and for a great price. The alterations staff worked diligently to properly fit the dress, which was tricky since the dress was entirely made of lace. I would recommend David's Bridal for any brides out there who are looking for a dress that won't break their budget but still want an elegant look that can compete with the designers.
GUEST

Absolutely terrible experience. Getting my dress went fine, except that alterations wanted to charge me $300+ and keep my dress for 4 weeks just for the bustle and nothing else (not to mention my friend actually did that and it didn't even hold up so she dragged her cathedral length train around all night for her wedding). I took my dress to a local tailor instead, and paid $30 with 24-hour turnaround and it was perfect. The bridesmaid dresses, however, was nothing but issues. We were never able to get an appointment with the wonderful person who helped me with mine, so we were stuck with whoever they gave us each time we went, and each time the service got worse. They are very unprofessional, complaining and rolling their eyes, groaning when you ask them to please get your girl the same dress in a different size or anything that will require them to do a little bit of "work". Then the orders were entered incorrectly into the computer by their staff, so the wrong dress was ordered for one of my bridesmaids. When we went in to have them correct it, the man who was "helping" us boldly told us that he was going to blame the error on us for their log, and even when I confronted him and told him the error was not our fault, he still told us that he was going to blame us anyways. Then he proceeded to order her the right dress, but in the wrong size, so the poor girl had to send it back AGAIN. They simply don't care about customer service or professionalism. I will never go there again for anything, nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. They were absolutely awful to us.
GUEST

I loved my dress, and only went to David's for the bridesmaids since they were all over the country. I would not go back to David's and would not buy any of their overpriced accessories.
GUEST

I loved my dress but the alterations were insane. I paid 1100.00 for my dress and 800.00 for alterations...CRAZY!Go somewhere else for alterations.
GUEST

When I got to the store the air conditioning was broken. I picked out a couple dresses from their book and the woman who helped me only brought back one out of about 10 that I tried on that looked anything like what I picked out. They only had larger sizes, which made it hard for me topicture the dress on me. The woman would not let me help her pick out what I wanted and was not understanding what I was looking for. For example I said no lace and she brought back numerous dresses that were all lace. Also the dresses seemed to be made with very cheap fabric. WOuld not recommend this place to anyone.
GUEST

The ladies there were very nice and very professional. I found my dress at the beginning of the David's Bridal Sale and knew it was the one right then and there.

When I went on a Saturday to find dresses, the place was packed, so getting some real individualized attention was a bit rough. A woman named Trisha helped me find some dresses based on my criteria, but it all felt pretty rushed. I ended up finding a dress I really liked....and she had me in and out quite fast. Came back for the fitting and realized the bra she ordered me was too small. We wanted to return it and just buy our own which they refused to do. Luckily they had another style that fit me well so we took that one instead. Alterations were done fast and again, felt a bit rushed but what can you do...it's a big store, they're always busy on weekends. However, in the end the dress was altered perfectly and I was fairly happy with my experience.

Out of all the things I had to do for my wedding, getting my dress and my brides maids dresses was AWFUL! I had already went through hell with one place and had to get my money back as the dresses were so God awful so I chose to try out Davids. The first thing that made me mad was the RUDE STAFF from the first time we walked in to every call I made! I was just so shocked to see how they stay in business with rude people working there like that. Second was THERE IS NO HELP when trying to get fittings or find dresses! More than anything through this time, what made me really hot was I drove an hour to the place to get my dresses. When I was told my dresses were ready, I drove an hour to go pick them up to find out that not all my dresses were there as well as one of my brides maids dresses might not make it in time for my wedding! Not to mention I was not even going to get into how RIDICULOUS that was! I WAS ABOUT TO CRY! My maid of honor had to deal with these people from here on out cause I couldn't take the stress. I watched all the commercials they put on TV on how this company is supposed to be so great and how it is easy to come in and get all this help and blah blah blah...WELL THAT IS A LIE! Davids was pure hell! I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!

It was a good experience overall, but much of their stuff is overpriced. Do not be fooled by the $99 sale. It's always going on and it only applies to a few dresses and they're not very nice. The associates are going to offer you one $99 dress and then several other ones that make that dress look ridiculous in comparison. Also, the associates are rather pushy about trying to sell you more than you might want. But, I got a beautiful dress and all my bridesmaids dresses.

The staff at this David's Bridal tried really hard to help me find a dress, but I was honest and told them that the dresses were boring and overpriced. The dresses looked like what a wedding dress should look like, but they lacked the delicateness and quality of a real wedding dress. It wasn't until I started trying on dresses that were almost $1000 at David’s Bridal did I start thinking the dresses looked nice. I don't think you should spend $1000 on a nice looking but cheaply made dress, when you can get a designer dress on sale for the same price and the quality will be so much better! I bought a great designer brand dress on sale for $900 online, and it was so much nicer than what I saw at David's. I went there thinking I would get a good price, but I was disappointed in their stock and selection.

I had no problems at all with David's bridal. My attendent was indeed attentive, and I bought a beautiful dress at a great price. Don't go on a weekend, though. It's WAY too packed!

I went on a Thursday morning and the store was busy. However, I did get pretty decent service. I knew the dress I wanted when I walked in the door but did try on several others to be positive it was the one. The associate was helpful and even picked out some accessories to go with my gown. Alterations were simple and quick. The problems was all the seamstress' spoke spanish. It was extremely hard to communicate to them what I wanted done. Other then that the service was good.

A little chaotic in there and sometimes hard to get someone to give you their full attention. The value for cost, ehh. My dress held up well for my wedding, but looking at my best friend's dress, you can tell the quality difference big time. She paid less for her dress than I did too and her dress was from a bridal boutique. The one HUGE plus about Davids...they aren't supposed to take returns, but they did for me. A week after I purchased my dress I found out I was expecting. I obviously wouldn't be a size 4 in 4 months being pregnant. I was able to exchange my dress for a size 10 and it fit practically perfect. The seamstress are nice, but you have to be careful with the quality of work they do. I paid over $100.00 just to have my dress bustled and 4 out of 7 of my hooks broke on my wedding day.

I was able to walk right in, pick a dress, and try it on immediately! I loved the consultant at Davids Bridal. She was extremely helpful, and although I thought I already knew what I wanted, she made me try on all sorts of dresses in order to see what I liked. She was absolutely awesome, and the dress was a great deal. Accessories were a little pricey, and alterations there were hard. All and all though, the dress was everything that I wanted.

This Davids Bridal was so friendly and helpful with myself and my bridal party. A lot of my girls live out of state and they were accomodating to their needs. Everything was perfect and all of their dresses fit perfectly.

The have a very large selection, but the service wasn't great. You have to be very clear with the salespeople about what you are looking for. And if you need alterations, do not use their people!!! Take your dress somewhere else to be altered. You will save valuable time and money.

I do have to say that the day I went to try on dresses, I did have a very nice employee who listened to what I wanted and helped me find a great dress. However, the dress was strapless and I wanted something that would cover my arms. The employee suggested having a jacket made that would match the ribbon on the dress, which I thought was a great idea. She said they could order more of the satin that the dress was made from and it would look great. This is where the trouble began. TWICE they attempted to order the right color fabric and neither time was it right. I finally had to buy two of the shoulder wraps they had on the rack that WERE the right color and beg my seamstress to finish the jacket in less than a week so that I could have it in time for the wedding. The dress I bought was lovely, it looked great on me, and the jacket turned out wonderfully. But the stress of dealing with several weeks of wrong orders, when they insisted that ordering the right color was not a problem, was extremely frustrating and tainted my view of the whole experience. I hoped that a manager would have at least given me a discount on the wraps I bought, but no such accommodation was ever offered. Had it not been for that, I probably would have rated them much higher.

I was browsing through online wedding catalogs when I saw it. My dress. I called my mom and IM'ed her the picture, very thrilled. When I came home for Spring Break we drove from Ft. Myers to Tampa (the Ft. Myers location hadn't opened yet) and lo and behold they had one in stock!! I tried it on and it was lovely. The associate helped us fill out a custom order (we had to add 2 inches to the hemline on the bottom of the gown...I'm 6'2) and helped me find the pwrfect matching veil and some shoes. We were out in a breeze. It was the least painful wedding dress purchase I've ever made. ;)The only problem I had was that there was a no-return policy on the clothing and I was certain that some of the items were used because of make-up marks I found on some of the clothing. I had second thoughts about the shoes, but it was too late.

They lost my dress the first time and then I had to go in for another fitting to replace the dress.

It's the simple things that some notice and appreciate. I was not happy with many things from the staff to the policy for return. Given, I made the purchase, but some flexibility is appreciated. I will do my best to never have to purchase from this vendor again.

I had a good experience with this company. I found the dress I wanted online on their website first. The dress was in stock for me to try on, in my size. My mom was then able to buy the dress from the David's Bridal in Naperville, IL where I would be during the summer before my wedding.

Sent the dress in the wrong size... TWICE! Didnt get my dress until 2 weeks before the wedding ( bought it 9 months before wedding) - had to rush alterations, a total pain! Price was good but would not use them again!

I had a fine experience at David's Bridal. It really helps if you make an appointment and bring friends along. I would recommend finding an independent person to do the alterations and to be very careful if you select a dress which requires major alterations - not all of the salespeople are familiar with what types of alterations are possible.
