I had a pretty good experience with David's Bridal. There were a couple of hiccups-one on the day of my appointment they had the wrong time down on their end but my appointment card showed another time. They did get my in pretty quick though. The other thing was that the consultant did not clean my dress (it was on clearance so I didn't order it, last dress in that size) and when I got it home it had 3 or 4 black spots on it. I took the dress back in and they were able to get the stains out but it was a bit hairy because I could hear them freaking because they were having trouble getting the stains out. Otherwise everyone was pleasant and helpful.

I honestly would not recommend Davids Bridal to anyone. I had to go through 3 dresses to finally get my wedding dress! I love the dress I got but I would not go through all the stress again. Definitely not customer friendly they act like you are a burden to them and will not go out of their way to help you, this was the only stress I had during the planning of our wedding.
GUEST

The service was not the best. The consultants wanted to get you in and out and make you buy thing you dont need like a slip, bra, tiara etc. Often you don't need those things or you don't want to make a rushed decision but they are pushy. Alterations were extremly over priced! If it weren't for the dress sizes and prices of the dresses I would not have purchased my wedding dress there.

I went through a lot of bridal boutique in Wichita, and I was glad that I decided to give David's Bridal a shot. I thought i had a good experience at David's Bridal. My consultant was really nice and helpful. She has made it a positive experience.
GUEST

Aside from having a wide variety of dresses to choose from, the customer service at David's Bridal is awful.
GUEST

I found a beautiful dress @ Davids. I got a really great deal, and loved the way it fit! The service was a little lacking - not the most friendly staff, and I had to pretty much wait on myself - they were very busy the day I went in. But all in all, I was very happy with my choice, and at my final fit, things worked out. They have the best prices in town, but you have to be ready to take the time to really sort through the dresses and find one that is not like a million other look a like dresses, if you really pay attention, and look hard, you can find a unique dress here, and get a great price too!

I dealt with the salina and omaha stores mostly, and they were most of the time confused on what needed to be ordered by whom although everthing was in the computer..If I had a choice to do it all over, I would have chosen a different store for my dress.

I was very surprised to find "The One" at David's, but I did, and it was gorgeous. It was the first dress I picked out myself and the first to make my mom cry, so even though we went to other dress shops, this was the only dress I truly loved. The Initial ConsultationMy first consultation with them was amazing. My attendant was very sweet and patient and she helped me relax and enjoy the trying-on process, which I wasn't enjoying much up until then. I ended up finding the dress I loved, but unsure, I went off to look at a few other dresses elsewhere. The Second ConsultationWhen I came back again unexpectedly and on a severe time crunch to try the dress on again, they told me there were no attendants available, and I couldn't try it on by myself. This was unbelievable. I had tried on dresses worth more than half of theirs at other shops by myself, but heaven forbid I try on one that I had full intention of buying! I had to emphasize to them that I was going to buy the dress right then and there if they let me put it on, so they threw the front greeter at me and she sold me the dress. But had I not planned on getting the dress that day, I would have probably been out of luck. So much for flexibility.I was also a little miffed because all the attendants told me to get a size too big, and had I taken their advice, I would have spent $200 more and it would have been far too big and needed expensive modifications. I understood their concern, but I hated having to fight them, and in the end, the size I chose fit perfectly.Accessories:I came in later to look at veils by myself, and while I was greeted, no one asked to help me. I ended up finding the veils in the back and I asked an attendant where their new fascinators were. "They're right here," she said, and grabbed them all off the shelf and took them to the girl she was helping. That was not cool. I guess you're a "special bride" when they know you're buying a $900 dress, but the moment that's paid for, you're back to being girl #592 at the Walmart of the Wedding World. While I was very pleased with my dress and initial service, service lines up with commission, and if it's not making them money, brides are sort of out of luck when they want the same friendly follow up.

I had a great experience at David's Bridal. I worked with Tiffany who was awesome and had a really great attitude. They had my dress at the store and were able to get me in for alterations within a short amount of time. The staff was professional and my dress was beautiful!!I bought my crown and veil on ebay after seeing the $150 - $200 veils at David's Bridal. My $25 veil from ebay was more beautiful (and much cheaper) than anything in the store.
GUEST

Davids Bridal really did have a lot of options at great affordable prices. They were easy to work with and very helpful.
GUEST

I had heard many mixed comments regarding David's Bridal. Yes, I would say they were definitely on the expensive side (for alterations, $200... I am positive if I had shopped around, I could have found several alteration shops which would have cost less). And yes, even though they are ADAMANT that you MUST have an appointment, we were still waiting around for almost an hour - which IS VERY FRUSTRATING. However, once we all actually got into fitting rooms, the staff was very kind and welcoming. They assisted me and offered alternate selections after I had gone through the first three and not found the "one." They called and e-mailed once the dresses had come in, and seemed to be very kind. I would recommend this vendor but make sure that you have shopped around other locations for dresses and probably get your alternations done elsewhere.
GUEST

I love the dresses I got from David's bridal, however when I first walked in to set up an appointment, the person at the door looked shocked when I said I was the bride, I am 48, but she recovered. I got Tiffany, she was great! The alterations are too expensive, and the lady doing them not so nice, she told me that brides usually put on weight before they get married, and I should really try not to do that. They didn't have shoes in my size, I wear a 2 and a half in Kids shoes, but a size 5 would have been fine, but they don't carry that size in store. My bridesmaid dresses were great! My gown was the one I found online and they had on for me to try on. It looked beautiful, and FYI I lost 6 lbs before the wedding. Over all not a bad experience.
GUEST

Before you buy a sash and want bridesmaids dresses to match- check and see how many dresses they carry in that color- as far as in store selection they have very very few lilac dresses- especially not ones that are under say size 12.
GUEST

Dress shopping was easy, I only tried on two. My dress was an unusual style and alterations were tricky, but after three painless appointments the fit was perfect. The appointment when I chose the dress just took forever.
GUEST

I had a pretty good experience at David's Bridal. I went in with some ideas of what I wanted and none of them looked good! I was getting frustrated and the lady offered a suggestion of a dress and it was perfect! She was very helpful. But they did keep calling me about bridesmaids dresses though.
GUEST

The dresses at Davids Bridal are affordable and some are quite beautiful. I was very happy with the wedding gown that I purchased from David's. However, the service at David's was less than adequate. During my appointment, the associate was rarely around to help me and kept leaving my fitting area. I purchased a wedding gown, slip, accessories, flower girl and bridesmaid dresses/ accessories, and shoes at Davids. Rather than calling me to let me know that they were all ready at the same time, I had to make 3 separate trips up there. All of the merchandise was there for me to pick up, but no one made that connection. Alterations were also ridiculously priced. I spent almost as much on alterations as I did on my dress. The first employee I encountered in alterations was very rude and unfriendly. In addition she kept poking herself with the pins and BLED ON MY DRESS!!!!! I believe they are aware of their inattentiveness, but also know that they are one of the few places in town you can purchase a wedding gown, so they just don't care. If you can put up with inattention and rude alteration employees, then Davids Bridal is a good enough shop to purchase a wedding dress. They do have some nice dresses at reasonable prices- mine was gorgeous and I wouldn't have wanted any other dress from any other shop. Just be prepared...

I had a very positive experience with David's Bridal in Wichita. I loved being able to try on a variety of dresses, as well as having input on what style would flatter me better. I was very pleased with my dress, and had many comments on how unique it was. I also ordered my jewelry from davidsbridal.com, and was pleased with the quality and price I got it at! David's is not for everyone, but I definitely recommend checking them out first!
GUEST

Davids Bridal is... Davids Bridal. They help you out the best they can. They were willing to offer advice and really helped me narrow down my search.
GUEST

Couldn't believe I found my dress at a chain, but I LOVE the dress. The store was fine as was the help. All about the dress!
GUEST

Love the dress I got there! Got a coupon at the Bridal show in town for $50 off my dress if I set an appt there at the show. That was great! And I got in on the gown sale, so I got another $50 off my dress from the sale! It was great! And the discount for purchasing all the accessories at the same time as my dress was great. And the girls were happy about the discount on bridesmaid dresses since I bought my dress there. Great for discounts and not too bad on price. Nice that they do alterations there, but they seem expensive. And the lady that helped me with the alterations wasn't the most sunshiny person ever. Advice - DO NOT ever tell a bride-to-be to either lose 5 lbs and win or she will win and get paid $100 to let your dress out 2 inches! Not funny and not nice at all! But the others were all helpful. Good overall experience. Minus alterations lady and the strange man they allowed to set up in the store and try and get business for his catering service. He was creepy and kept following me and my bridesmaids around when we were trying to pick out dresses! CREEPY!!!
GUEST

I had a pleasant, relaxed experience at David's Bridal. It was easy to set up an appointment, contrary to many of the other stores in town, and I received personal attention for the duration. I found a beautiful dress that fit well and that I felt was a good value. Many of their lower-cost items did not seem cared for and were ill-fitting, but I was extremely satisfied with my dress. I purchased one from the Oscar de la Renta line and was very happy with the quality and design for the price. A few minor complaints - the consultant I worked with never measured me or offered any sort of advice about sizing. Fortunately this is not a problem for me (I used to do custom-sewing work), but be sure you know what your measurements/sizes are before shopping. After purchasing my dress, they were relentless about calling back to sell me bridesmaids' dresses and this got annoying - especially since I made it clear I had already selected them elsewhere. Overall it was a good experience and I was very happy with my purchase.
GUEST

I was very pleased with the selection and the personal attention we recieved while browsing through David's selection. If you live in Wichita, Kansas and going to go to David's bridal ask for Danielle Ford, she was awesome. She didn't push us into buying something we didn't need and really listend to what I wanted. Great experience.
GUEST

Sales girls were terrible, but the dress was beautiful.
GUEST

The price just keeps going up. Add about 300 or 400 to the price of your dress and that is about what you will end up paying at the end of all aterations and steaming charges.
GUEST

I had a good experience at David's Bridal. My bridesmaids ranged in sizes so it was nice that David's had enough of a selection that they could all try on their sizes in different styles to see which would look best. No other store carries such a selection and at a great price. The dresses are very good quality and looked beautiful on all of my bridesmaids. The service at David's Bridal isn't the best, but it's because the staff is usually very outnumbered and understaffed. If you go in on any other weekday the staff is very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I would recommend David's Bridal for bridesmaids dresses because you can't beat the selection and prices.
GUEST

Their service was wonderful, however, it was hard to get an alteration appointment. They were full of wonderful ideas and suggestions. I would most definitely recommend them.
GUEST

I loved the dress I got from David's Bridal. I had previously found a dress that I liked but when I went back I had changed my mind. The staff was helpful everytime I went in. I also had my alterations done here and they were also helpful.
GUEST

I got my dress at David's Bridal and had a great experience. I would recommend it to anyone!

when i bought my dresses.. the staff was very rude and acted like it was an inconvience to be helping me. the dresses were decently priced, however when we trying them on, they got kind of fussy with us when we told them that we were just shopping around trying to find out what we liked. they dont like that apparently. i dont really recomend them.
GUEST

David's may be the place to go, but I didn't always find them to be terribly responsive or sensitive to my needs. I had to have my dress hemmed twice, thankfully they did that free of charge. I did, however, have a beautiful dress, even though my bridesmaids had trouble fitting their dresses.
GUEST

They were very helpful. Everytime we went in they were very accomodating and made sure that my family and I had eveything we could need
GUEST

thank goodness for the $99 gown sale
GUEST

I was very happy with my wedding dress from David's. Their clover green was a perfect color and looked fabulous on my bridesmaids and on my dress. While they had a good selection and good service, the alterations were rather pricey and I could have gone elsewhere and had it done far cheaper.Overall, it was a good (if only expensive!) experience.

Davids Bridal in Wichita was a fabulous shopping experience. They were curteous, flexible, and prompt with alterations and appointments. And, my dress was gorgeous and affordable! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is getting married.I ordered my invitations from Davids Bridal.com. They were easy to customize, they arrived quickly, and they turned out beautifully! They cost about $1 each which was pretty standard, and were definitely quality invitations. I would definitely recommend them to anyone else getting married!

The girl that helped me was really nice and I found the perfect dress *after she dug through a pile* but when I came back the next week for my fitting she hadn't bothered to tag it for me so it was put back on the shelf. I was in tears and no one apologized or even gave me my options. My mom and I actually had to dig through racks ourselves because no one would help us. Also, I was pregnant and growing and they made me do my alterations 2 months in advance with a preg pillow on. They said it was the only way they could guarantee it. Then, when I went to my fitting the girl said if I needed anymore alterations that they accept them within 72 hours of the wedding. I was soo upset because if I had needed them I would of had to pay for the alterations all over again and I felt like I was lied to.

You know, I would think that a place like David's Bridal would want more business, but they did not seem to want my business. I was partnered up with one of the ladies that does the fitting and style coordinating. Another lady walked in and flashed cash in her face and it took at good 30 minutes for her to get back to me. They did not tell him when I needed to have the final payment for my dresses, so then those got sent back and I have to resort to going to JCPenny, but that's fine. JCPenny did a better job. I am just saying that I had more than enough money to pay for three bridesmaids dresses and was treated like trailor trash. I am still furious to this day, because it was a week before my wedding and I had to figure out a fast way to dress my girls. NO THANKS TO YOU DAVID'S BRIDAL!!!

I absolutely loved my dress! My bridesmaids all look stunning in their dresses also. My only complaint is that at the time I first went to look at dresses (more than a year before my wedding-not planning to buy anytime soon) the sales girl told me that the dress I fell in love with would soon be discontinued, so if I wanted it I'd better buy it that day (which I did) and they still have it and it is not discontinued. That makes me think that she only told me it would be discontinued to get a sale that day :(

The David's Bridal in Wichita, KS was a great experience. When I first went in for my first appointment, we had only planned on trying on dresses. The girl that helped us picked out dresses that she thought would work great for myself, my interests, and flattering shapes. I found "the" dress at the first appointment thanks to her help. The Wichita location was so helpful and I referred a lot of my friends to that very specific location. The entire staff was so nice, cheerful, pleasant, and helpful.
GUEST

I had a very mixed experience with them. Every time I went in it seemed like they were hounding me to buy something and I couldn't look at the dresses in peace. I finally did buy my dress and the person I bought it from stopped working there so when I went back to get it steamed someone else had to do it - and I wasn't anyone's customer so my dress got tossed around. When I went back to pick it up, they had lost it and I had to wait half an hour while they looked for it and it wasn't even ready, so I had to come back the next day and AGAIN they couldn't find it and ended up having to steam it while I waited for an HOUR! and this was 4 days before my wedding!! BUT the day before the wedding I went in with a bridesmaid who accidentally got the wrong color dress and they were SO helpful in finding us a dress at the last minute. The girl that helped us then really went above and beyond helping us find something in a crunch!!
GUEST

I had gotten dresses at another place and the colors did not match the previously boughten dresses with my wedding 2 weeks away they got me two more dresses days before y wedding day.
GUEST

I was absolutely not happy with my experience at David's bridal. The woman who helped us was alright, but not very knowledgeable, and the women who worked in alterations I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. They were very rude, when they shortened my dress they made it an inch too short and refused to fix it without charging me again, my bustle was done with these beads they said you wouldn't even be able to notice, but as soon as I put it on they were very evident and they refused to fix that either without recharging me, oh yea, and then the beads on my bustle fell off shortly into my reception so my dress was hanging horribly for half of the night. I was so disgusted with dealing with David's Bridal. My bridesmaid's dress wasn't taken in enough either and was almost falling off of her during the wedding, another thing they refused to fix and tried to say it was my bridesmaids fault, when they had measured her the week before! I didn't know someone could lose that much weight in a week, especially when they're pregnant. If anything the dress should have been too small. To sum things up, I would never recommend David's Bridal to anyone.
GUEST

They were so nice to us, we got my dress, my bridesmaids dresses and my moms dress here, my sister was my maid of honor and they didnt have her size but the story in OKC did the lady drove down there to pick it up and brought it back so we could pick it up in time for the wedding.
GUEST

they were AWFUL!!!!! they were rude disrespectful and ruined my dress 2 weeks before the wedding!!!!! when i took my dress back and told them they had to fix it the were so rude and acted like i was being a bridezilla. you should have seen my dress the hem was so uneven it was like 7 in off on one side. and the lace they took off to hem the dress and then reapplied was extremely bunchy and just plain awful plus it looked like they cut the toule with safety scissors! i will NEVER GO BACK!!!! not to mention they sold one of my bridesmaid dresses she had put on lay away 1 week before the wedding!
GUEST

It seemed like I was really rushed and pushed into buying things I didn't really want/need. I tried on 4 or 5 dresses and they seemed like I was taking all day. Lucky for them I loved the 4th dress I tried on. They were alot more helpful with the bridesmaid dresses than with my dress. I probably wouldn't use them again if I had choice- but I don't plan on needing to buy another wedding dress.
GUEST

I loved my wedding dress and I purchased it from David's Bridal. However, there were some negatives about going their to purchase all my dress needs. First of all, the lady was really nice who helped us but she was way TOO pushy. In fact, I don't think I would have bought anything else that day, except for the dress, if she hadn't acted that way. For example, I bought a veil, actually 3. She said I needed a blusher, and I wanted it but also 2 other veils and on my wedding day I didn't end up wearing the blusher because it looked to poofy on my head so it was a waste of $100. Their pushiness makes you feel very uncomfortable and not sure as what to do. Also, after months of looking for bridesmaid dresses elsewhere, I found things like my slip and tiara (exact one) that were about 50% cheaper somewhere else. So if you go there and find a dress, Great, but you might hold off on purchasing other things. Especially, because there are NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES once you hand over your money.
GUEST

Davids Bridal was very professional. They treated me like a princess ... they were amazing at my dress fitting. They also worked with me for hours while doing my "bridesmaids" fitting. Although, after all the items were ordered and purchased, we had a few problems, and they weren't 'as' helpful as they were in the begining. I would overall rate them a 4.
GUEST

The team at David's Bridal was really nice. I found a dress that was beautiful that i love. my only complaints are that dresses cost so much & that although i HAD found a MUCH cheaper dress that was nice enough, my salesperson had me try on a few other dresses that were MUCH more expensive "just for fun." My final dress came out of the last set she showed me. They also have sales on a regular basis, so they may not always have your size in THE dress.
GUEST

I felt horrible after leaving this store! Hardley anyone helped me. I wanted a cathedral length dress that was detachable. Instead of working with me they showed me dresses that were nothing that I was interested in. I went to try on a dress (I went to the store by myself) and the lady said she would help zip me up, yeah, well I stood there for a while and she never came back. I did the best I could zipping it up, looked at how ugly the dress was, changed and was ready to leave before she even came back. They were very rude and I did not feel like a bride should feel while trying on a wedding dress. I went home crying! Yeah it was hard for me to find a dress because I have a large chest, but come on, where did their customer service go. I would never recommend going there. There are plenty of dress places that I would rather spend my money! Too much stress for my time!
GUEST

I found a gorgeous dress for $99. However, I had them alter it and after two alterations it still didn't quite fit right.
GUEST

My bridesmaids got their dresses from David's. I tried on some gowns, but they didn't fit, so I couldn't get the "feel" of the dress. To a large degree the ladies there didn't seem particularly enthused about helping, unless they knew you were going to buy something that day.
GUEST

The first dress I tried on was the one I bought. I actually saw it online and then went to the store. My size wasn't in stock for the exact color I wanted, but the staff was helpful in ordering it for me. Just remember that if you order a dress allow up to 8 weeks for it to be delivered to the store. Overall, I was happy with the service.
GUEST

The saleswomen are pushy and we ended up buying expensive items that we didn't really want.
GUEST

I bought my wedding dress at Davids Bridal and they were very helpful. When I was at the store, another girl was trying on a dress that I liked. It was the only one in the store and she ended up buying it, but said she didn't want anyone else trying on the dress. After she left they let me try it on and said it looked better on me anyhow. I ordered the dress and it arrived on time and was absolutely beautiful.
GUEST

Employees in store were very helpful to find the right dress for me, but seemed like they were stretched thin among the other shoppers in the store. Understaffed I would say. Other than that, I think that they had a great selection and was helpful in finding the dress that worked best for me.
GUEST

Always go with the dress that makes you feel most like a princess because this is your day to shine. Try on different styles so that you have an idea of the differences in fit, comfort, appearance and so forth. I would also try on your dress every so often to make sure that there aren't in alterations needed. Many women are doing exercising or maybe getting stressed and eating more. You want to be sure that your dress fits you in the best and most appealing way. Listen to what other people have to say about the dresses but also remember you know what your man likes. Just have fun! It only happens once, but it's the rest of your life that is the important thing.
GUEST

Found my dress quickly and happily. They had a pretty good selection of plus-sized dresses; I was surprised!! The staff was very helpful and they were pleasant in all our dealings.
GUEST

I got my gloves and shoes and the bridesmaid dress from here, all very resonable serive and prices
GUEST

Cheap dress...looked expensive! Had to find a dress in only 2 weeks and they were great!
GUEST

I looked at many stores and hesitated using a chain store for my wedding dress. But, I found the perfect dress there for the right price. I loved it!!!!!! and that was the most important thing. I will say that service there is not the same as what you would get at a small family owned boutique.
