They new exactly what we wanted and worked with us. We were able to find our dresses fast and painlessly :)

Managers was extremely rude. Charged us for items we didn't get, and over charged us on others we did. When brought to her attention, tried putting the blame on us and made it a huge ordeal to reimburse us, with only store credit, not back on credit card. Seamstress sewed straps in two different spots so they were not balanced. Thankfully I noticed, because she didn't. Didn't want to be bothered showing my bridesmaids how to do corset and bustle, so they had to figure it out alone. You think you are getting a great deal on a dress until they whack you with $600 in alterations. Dress was beautiful, but there are a lot of shops that have dresses that treat their customers like they matter. If I wasn't in a time crunch I would never have bought my dress there.

I ordered my dress online, it matched the picture perfectly. Quality wasn't what I thought it should be for a wedding dress, I was a little disappointed that it wasn't better made.

It was very easy to make an appointment and get in to see the dresses at David's, and I can't deny that they are very affordable for wedding dresses and have a very nice selection. However, the day that I went in for my dress appointment, they were over-booked, and the young lady who was getting the dresses for me was running between two brides, which is to say I barely saw her. Thankfully, I brought a couple friends where were able to help me get in and out of the dresses. At the end, when the sales girl was finally able to assist, she added a beautiful comb and veil which finished my look and helped make my decision. But, be careful, those combs and veils are expensive, I made the mistake of purchasing without asking the price (no return policy) and was shocked to find out the comb was $150, so make sure you ask.

I also used them to do my dress fitting, and the ladies in the fitting department were very nice, fast, and efficient, which is good, but I was the one that insisted on a second fitting, they were going to let me just take the dress, and I am glad that I did because the hem on the dress wasn't correct and it did need to be fixed. And yes, I made sure to put the dress on before I left the third time as well. So, make sure your dress is exactly the way you want it before you leave.

All in all, I loved my dress, and David's served me well. I would recommend them solely based on prices. If you keep in mind the service *might* be a bit spotty.

I chose David's Bridal for my wedding dress and am so glad I did! I did look at other places and David's Bridal was the place I felt the most comfortable! I found my perfect dress there! They took their time with me and I tried on a lot of dresses there. I was torn between two dresses and David's Bridal was very patient with me. They also have a very wide variety of dresses and you can try them on in your size so you'll see exactly what the dress will look like. Their prices are very reasonable as well. I was on a budget for my wedding and I was able to get the perfect dress for an amazing price! My maid of honor got her dress there and she was so happy with it as well. It looked amazing on her and they were very helpful with her as well. I would definitely recommend David's Bridal to anyone!

I went for bridesmaid dresses. The women in the store were rude and unhelpful, and when I found a wedding gown I wanted to try on the girl helping me told me she had another appointment in 30 minutes so I would have to hurry up. Needless to say I left without trying the dress on, and never went back. My girls all ordered David's dresses from ebay or the online store. The women working in the Wilkes Barre store should be ashamed of themselves and their behavior. I would not buy a dress from that store if someone else was paying for it.

They really didn't have a good selection of mother of the bride dresses. I drove and was really disappointed because their stock was very sparse. The woman was very nice who helped us, but couldn't do much because of the lack of selection.

If you are thinking of using David's Bridal, DON'T!!!! They may offer great deals on dresses, but you really get what you pay for. I used the David's Bridal in Syracuse for my wedding gown, and the David's Bridal in Wilkes-Barre, PA for my bridesmaids (because that's the store they all live closest to). We had a nightmare with BOTH stores.

When shopping for my wedding gown, they had the consultant stretched WAY too thin. She was managing four brides, including myself, and it was pretty obvious that was one or two too many. She grabbed the dresses I had picked out online and took off. My mom helped me get into and out of everything. I think we saw the consultant three times in the hours I spent there trying dresses on. When she was busy with all the other brides, I was understanding, even sympathetic. I felt bad that she was forced to rush around like that. But when 2 of her brides left and it was just me and the other bride, you would think she could spare a little time. I had an unlimited budget, and she knew that going in. Instead, I saw her sitting back by the dressing room chatting with another consultant. Umm...hello? Could really use some help here? After 3 hours in an out of dresses, I was tired and just sick of looking. So I picked a dress that I felt was "okay" and my family loved. We go to order it, and SURPRISE! It's discontinued. They had to order it from another store and have it shipped to my house, and there was no guarantee that it would be new. So...BIG HEADACHE. From start to finish, worst shopping experience ever.

Then, knowing that it was probably a bad idea, we went bridesmaid dress shopping. Most of my bridesmaids live in PA, but they're scattered around the state. We all got together in Wilkes-Barre to try on dresses and make some decisions. We found a dress that we all loved. My girls loved it, I loved it, the colors were spot on. Perfect! I asked our consultant if the dresses were being discontinued, and if that should be a concern for us. She said, and I quote, "Oh, no! You don't need to worry about that. If your dress is being discontinued, we know 6 months in advance and someone will call you so that you know ahead of time." Okay. 3 of the 4 buy their dress right there. The 4th bridesmaid needed to wait until her paycheck on Friday (only 2 days later) to buy hers. I figured, what's 2 days going to hurt? MISTAKE. When she came back to buy her dress, they tell her that...wait for it...IT'S DISCONTINUED! She can't get that dress. It doesn't exist anywhere in the US in that color in any size. Then, to make matters worse, one consultant looks at the other and says "Well, maybe the bride will just drop her. That'll solve the problem." Nice. My bridesmaid calls me at work, in tears, so upset that she's "ruining my wedding." I had to call the store in Syracuse and find a dress that was similar and get it ordered for her. When I asked what the hell happened and why I wasn't notified the dress was being discontinued? "Oh, our records show we called you." Really? I never got a message and my caller ID shows no history of anyone calling me. "It says we left a message." Never got one. Two weeks later, I got out of work to find a voice mail left THAT DAY stating that the dress had been discontinued. Wow. Just wow.

Seriously, save yourself the hassle. Better to spend a little more and know that you won't have to deal with things like this. And when I contacted DB Corporate to complain (which is no small feat, let me tell you)? It took months to hear anything back, and by then it was all over and done with. And all they offered was an apology. If you deal with DB, you're taking a gamble. Good luck...

I bought my dress from Davids bridal. The dress is absolutely beautiful,but their communication skills in this store between the employees is not so great, I put a downpayment on my dress and my mother called to pay the rest i got a handful of phone calls saying that they were going to put it back on the rack, was very upset that they never noted in their computer system that my mother was calling to pay for the rest of the dress! . Also they talked me into buying the bra and underskit that my seamstress said i did not need ( she was right) do not let them talk you into buying things you do not need!

At first was told my dress was only available online, but after further inquiry, it was in my local store. Expensive alterations, so I decided on another seamtress for the light alterations.

I shoped online looking at their selections and picking out gowns that i thought i liked. Once I arrived at the store and signed in the greeter intrduced me to Gail. Gail pointed to where the gowns were and informed me to pick a few and then pointed to the dressing cubicle. THe next time that I saw her was after i tried on my 3rd gown - an hour later. She didnt help at all - she helped put my hair up and then disappeared. She was too concerned with what the other representatives were doing. I ended up purchasing the gown that i fell in love with that was on their site... and as soon as another lady was ringing me up at the register, she came over and took commission for it. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I cried so much and refuse to go there EVER again.

Didn't get my wedding dress from here- did bridesmaids dresses. Dresses were nice. Girls were able to have them shipped directly to their houses.

I liked the girl who helped me with my dress. Her name was Holly and she did a great job. She called me as soon as an order came in and was always sweet. My dress was absolutely amazing. I felt like a princess. My bridesmaids gowns were awesome. Every girl looked great and they are all very different body styles. The girls did not get their dresses altered there though because they are very pricey. My dress cost a fortune to alter because I am short. I think that the price of the dress was great but the alterations and accessories are outrageous! Overall I had a very good experience.

Davids Bridal was not very flexable when it came to their policys on exchanging dresses. I had a younger bridesmaid who had a small growth spurt before the wedding and they wouldn't exchange her dress nor could they take it out. I had another bridesmaid who replace a former girl and wanted that dress made shorter but they refused to so she had to take it somewhere else. They were just not flexable with anything.

My bridal party dresses were amazing. The manager of the store even spent 30 minutes on the phone and computer trying to find me a flower girl dress in a larger size just a few weeks before the wedding. A few of the staff members were not very friendly or professional while others went out of their way to help me. Their alteration rates are outrageous so I used a local seamstress instead.

Outrageous cost for alterations!!! Was not treated like a bride when trying to pick a dress.

They ordered the wrong dresses for my bridesmaids, even though they had the right style number that I told them, they didn't order the headpiece for my flowergirl that was paid for causing me to have to drive and find one a few days before the wedding and they were very rude about their mistakes, taking no responsibility for their actions. A complete disaster and more stress than I could have ever imagined.

The staff were all extremely friendly and courteous, the dress and veil were gorgeous, and my bridesmaids looks amazing. I would recommend David's Bridal to anyone who wants their perfect wedding. They sure gave me mine.

The girls at david's were so helpful and understanding of my needs. I bought my whole wedding ensemble from the store and my bridesmaids also picked out dresses from there also. One of my bridesmaids had health issues making her unable to fit into her dress for the wedding ad they went out of their way to alter her exisiting dress to limit the need for a new one and putting my mind at ease. Gina, Amanda, and the alterations team are awesome!

I purchased my dress, veil, jewelry, purse, bridesmaid dresses, and bridesmaid purses from David's Bridal in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The staff was extremely helpful in helping me to decide on a dress, veil, and accessories. I also had the unique opportunity to have one of their consultants from a South Carolina store as one of my bridesmaids. Her help was unbelievable the day of my wedding. She was able to lace my dress and fluff it as needed. Making appointments was often a difficult task and the store was mostly chaotic when I did attend my appointments. And calling to inquire about anything was similar to playing phone tag. In the end, I love my dress as did my guests. David's bridal was a convenient choice for my bridesmaids dresses, although two of my girls had broken straps before we even left my house. I have purchased dresses for other weddings at David's and would recommend their wedding gowns over the bridesmaid dresses.

They had a great selection of dresses, someone to work with and your budget. My flower girls got their dress fom here and there mothers had overall no complaints. A liitle hard to find off highway 86, but no complaints. Tow of my bridesmaids are going to use them if they have not alreday.

I bought my dress at David's and cannot imagine having been married in a better dress. The alterations department made the necessary changes to my dress and I was pleased with the price on both the dress and alterations. My bridesmaids also had good experiences with David's Bridal.

I knew the style but couldnt find the dress the showed me 2 and the second one I tryed on I knew it was the one.. and we found a matching dress for my flower girl and I also found my veil there too.

Everything was perfect. I did this on short notice, but the staff was so helpful and courteous. I tried on a ton of gowns, and settled on the first one. I went in with a list from their website, and the had no problem finding any of the gowns that i had chosen. The alteration department was excellent as well.

The staff here was extremely helpful in helping me to select both my wedding gown and my bridesmaid's dresses. They worked with me to find exactly what I wanted and followed up to make sure everything reached my satisfaction. They were extremely friendly and helpful in all areas and even went out of their way to make alterations at the last minute.

The only thing I liked was my dress and my bridesmaids dresses. Which we found not with the help there. The staff at the Wilkes-Barre store are not friendly and treated me like I didn't have a clue. I may have been a younger bride, but that should not be a reason for the service to lack. I'll reccommend that brides go to david's bridal, but not that specific store.

Amanda was my wedding consultant and she was beyond perfect!! Every detail of my wedding dress shopping was met! I would highly recommend davids bridal!!!!!

The girl that helped me was amazing, she was very nice and even grabbed dresses that I didnt pick out but loved her idea! I actually choose a dress that I hated in the magazine but loved on me! The only problem I had is when they tried contacting my girls or I they would say they called but they never did and then I would get something in the mail telling me they have called several times. But nothing big, everyone there was a great help!

Jenilyn helped me pick out my dress and after trying on only 2 I found the perfect one. She was very friendly and helped pick out the whole attire.. Dress, shoes, tiara, veil. Very helpful and did not try to sell more than we needed.

David's did an excellent job helping me choose my dress and my attendants dresses. I would try to go during the week if you could, and avoid a Saturday and Sunday as they are very busy! The alterations were reasonable, and turned out excellent!

I found the perfect dress from this store. My daughter, who was also my flower firl got the same exact dress as me !! i loved it and so did all of my guests !! all of my girls got their dresses at this store and it was great !! thanks ..

My dress was gorgeous and affordable. I have yet to have it preserved because I like to wear it around the house, to just sit on the couch and watch tv! It was too beautiful to wear just once!!

Dress was a good deal - however, I wasn't happy with alterations, and they insisted that it fit right - however it was very uncomfortable and they would have charged a huge fee to let it out after I had already requested it the first time.

Overall, an Ok experience. But alterations are extremely expensive - almost cost as much as the dress! Accessories were outrageously priced as well.

I was very pleased with the service I received at David's Bridal. The prices were very affordable and there was a large selection to choose from.

They have a nice selection of dresses for bride and bridal party, and I really like the alterations department, they made me and my party feel special and the alterations were done really well and quickly too.

we purchased my bridal gown and my two daughters maid of honors dresses from davids bridal and the service was there was outstanding..the selection was wonderful..our gowns were all beautiful and not that expensive..loved them

Their store needs updating and more racks too. Tons of dresses crammed on racks that were very difficult to search through. Their sales team also needs MAJOR sensitivity training.

I looked there for Bridesmaids dresses, but I was very disappointed in their selection. I am very conscientious about modesty, and they didn't have any dresses that had sleeves or higher necklines. We ended up buying the shoes for the wedding party there. They had a very wide selection, and the dye job was perfect! Other accessories were very pricy, so I went elsewhere.

i had avery low budget for a dress and associates definatley helped me out and i got ;a beautiful dress for a ;very low price

I did not actually get the dress from David's, but I did go in to look for bridesmaid's dresses. The wbsite that the girls had originally ordered from was shut down, so 3 months before the wedding, everthing had to change. I went in searching for dresses, but only one staff even acknowledge my existence. Also, the selection was very limited, and to order the dress would have taken up to six months. They did have a few dressses that I looked at, but Iwas very turned off by the attitude I was given by the staff when I asked about them; they were no longer available to order.

I have been married a year and what a fast year it has been. Well when i got married I bought a wedding dress through e-bay. It was a great looking dress and i figured i would have it dry cleaned one more time before my big day. I sent out the dress and two days before my wedding day the cleaners called me and told me the dressed had yellowed. I was a a wreak. I went to Davids Bridal and they were so nice to me and they helped me find a dress that night and the women who did the sewing of the bussel stayed later to do the bussel so i could have it the next day since i was leaving that day to go 2 hours away from home to get the other plans done. They were so nice and friendly and they made me feel welcome I would recommend Davids Bridal to anyone.

I had a fine service here. It was not great but it was not poor. It was just as I expected.

I chose David's Bridal because a few of the girls in my wedding party lived out of town. I also like their mix-and-match option and their color palettes. My trip to the store for my dress fitting was wonderful, and the attendant couldn't be more helpful. However, on subsequent visits, the sales staff was somewhat brash and not terribly welcoming. Overall, the flexibility and price is what I was looking for, and I found it.

The only thing I would recommend about Davids is the price. The sales people are VERY pushy. Every time I was in to see something the would try and get me to buy that day right then and there even though they knew it wasn't going to happen. They even went so far to get me to try and open a line of credit they suggested I use my husband-to-be's social security number for the account since I told them my credit wasn't going to be good enough! This was appalling to me. I would not go back there for anything.

The people here were extremely rude. They wanted me to make decisions very quickly and didn't give me time to think about the choices. I bought my wedding dress here and it was gorgeous and well worth the money.

I chose my wedding gown from David's Bridal because it was the first gown I saw and I immediately fell in love with it. I tried others, but went back to this one. The price was just an added bonus, and the alterations were done perfectly and not at an unreasonable price. They had convenient hours, and they allowed 3 of my bridesmaids to use another store in their area to avoid unnecessary travel. I would highly recommend David's if they have a gown or bridesmaid's gown that fits your style!
