I never thought I would say this, but purchasing my wedding gown was the EASIEST part of my wedding preparations. As a plus-size bride I had agonized over going to a bridal shop. Once I finally summoned the courage, I went to David's Bridal in Wilmington, DE. The consultant (Beth) put me at ease immediately. She was very nice and seemed eager to help me find the 'perfect' dress that I had described to her. She never once said to me what I had anticipated over and over again in my head ~ sorry, we don't have anything like that for someone your size. Instead, she pulled out 4 of the most beautiful dresses I had ever seen. Each was more exquisite than the next, and when I put on the last one I knew I had found 'my dress'. Mom came back to the store with me the next day, and we purchased it!Luckily, the dress needed very minimal alterations, but that story was not such a happy one. Look for my feedback regarding alterations at David's Bridal in Springfield, PA.

The consultant that sold me my dress was great. When I went for my alterations, the lady was rude. My dress alterations were wrong and I had to wait 3 hours for my dress in the middle of a hurricane so they could fix it.
GUEST

I went to the Wilmington David's for my second trip and was not really thrilled with the service. My consultant overall was nice but I felt rushed and then she was very pushy about us buying the dress that minute, even though we told her we wanted to make sure our seamstress could alter it the way we wanted. They also made us feel super concerned that we weren't going to have it in enough time since "it takes 3 months to get in" when in reality it only took 3 weeks. I wish there were a way to review the Deptford, NJ store. I went there for my first visit and they were much more accomodating and not pushy.
GUEST

We had great service, went it the first time and didnt find it but made an appointment to come back and it was a success! It was the help of the consultant who was able to see what looked good on me and we went with it!! Loved my dress and got nothing but compliments the day off the wedding.

I can honestly say that I know that Davids Bridal is the number one place to go for a wedding dress but they absolutely ream you with the price of things. The dress was not that expensive however, I think that if you're spending all this money on a wedding dress & bridesmaids dresses & alterations that the garment bag should be included. They will pinch you for every penny. also, once you get through the initial dress selection, then it's like you're just another person walking in the door handing over money. I was extremely disappointed that a company with that reputation for being the best was actually the worst in customer service. Also don't waist your money getting accessories from there because you can go to Claire's or Icing & get the same thing for about 50% cheaper. I recommend going to a small vendor that will give you more personal attention & treat you like a bride & not a wallet walking through the door.
GUEST

The employees at David's Bridal were generally nice and helpful although I would say that the price they charge for basic alterations isn't a great value and took much longer than anticipated.
GUEST

I visited David's Bridal 3 times while looking for the perfect dress. I did not find anything I liked until my 3rd visit. They have lots of stuff with beads, feathers, and flowers. I wanted a very plain dress without the bells & whistles and I didnt really want a train. I was very pleased to find a dress that I loved available in the store in my size. I bought it right off the rack and it didnt need any alterations. :)
GUEST

We had great service, got an amazing price for a beautiful gown for my daughter! She chose her gown in 30 minutes and we were done!
GUEST

I enjoyed the service here at Davids Bridal! They were very helpful and gave me plenty of information. They were very flexible and patient...especially since I had 8 bridesmaids! They even coordinated with other davids bridals to make sure the few bridesmaids that were out of state were able to get their dresses in time! I love davids bridal!
GUEST

I loved going to Davids Bridal, they have so many choicest and so many people who work there who are willing to help. Í didnt have to do anything. I told her what I wanted, she brought me dresses in that style and then kept coming to me with more and more to try on.
GUEST

You can't beat the prices and protection of a big name. There were definitely some trade offs with that though. The service can be hit or miss. You walk in and someone is there to assist you. But after your initial assistance, it can feel like you're on your own. I needed help with shoes and felt like I stood there for an hour! I would suggest being more assertive then I was I guess. Also, one of my bridesmaids dresses came in and I noticed a large hole in the side of it. They quickly took it to the back and repaired it on the spot though. They offered to ordered a new one, but that was not necessary. All in all, everything came through at the end despite the annoyances. I love my dress and it was perfect on our wedding day.
GUEST

I was skeptical, but had a great experience. My consultant was so nice and flexible and didn't make me feel rushed. Found my dress easily, and I thought the price was fairly reasonable. However, alterations ended up costing half as much as the dress! They did a great job, and I love my dress, but I think the alterations were disproportionatly expensive.
GUEST

I bought my dress on 1 of their $99 sales for $500. I love my dress! I didn't use their alterations department. I used a private seamstress located in Dover.
GUEST

Your experience depends on your sale consultant. Mine was Wendy and she was very nice, patient and helpful. But I do not see the same quality from other employees.

Let me start out with - THEY REDEEMED THEMSELVES! But first, the ugly...I went there to look for a wedding dress. I told the consultant that I wanted something simple (no lace, rhinestones, tulle, lace, etc.) and inexpensive. She brings me the biggest, fanciest, most expensive dresses she can find. I even clarified with her telling her that these were NOT what I was looking for. It got to the point where I was just standing in the dressing room, half naked, as my maid of honor went through all of the dresses and hung them on the 'No Thank You' rack outside the door. The consultant kept walking away to help another bride, leaving me to do nothing but fume. She had hardly said a single word to me the entire time I was there, but she was carrying on a loud, fun conversation with the bride next to me. I finally had to find her and ask her to bring me the dress on the cover of the catalog. They didn't have it in my size, so she brought me the size smaller and the size larger. After being so frustrated and flustered with the terrible service, I just said "I'll take it", just so I could leave. I bought the dress, took it home, hung it up, and didn't look at it again for three months because I was so upset about it. As the wedding was getting closer, I figured I had to convince myself that I liked it and decided to try it on again. Turns out, the consultant rang me up for the WRONG SIZE. I had told her I would take the larger size, as it would be easier to take it in than to let it out. I was in a frenzy. I didn't know what to do. I had to have a wedding dress, and I wasn't going to starve myself to fit into the smaller dress, and I wasn't going to walk down the aisle ugly and unhappy. So I went dress shopping somewhere else. I ended up finding the gown of my dreams. I cried and everything.A few days later, I got an email from David's Bridal asking me to complete a Customer Satisfaction Survey. Needless to say, I let loose. Later that week, I got a call from the store manager apologizing profusely, telling me she wished that I had said something. I told her that I am not a confrontational person, so I didn't say anything, I just wanted to get out of there. Even though I had purchased the dress more than 3 months beforehand, she offered to let me exchange the dress. I told her that I had already purchased another gown and, instead of just telling me to suck it up and deal with it, she actually let me exchange it for my bridesmaids' dresses. I went in and she paired me with her best consultant (who really was phenomenal). They even gave me discounts when we purchased the dresses (it was something like, for every dress you purchased, you got an additional $10-$30 off), so for the price of my $350 dress, I got 2 bridesmaid dresses, a junior bridesmaid dress, and a flower girl dress. I was ecstatic.I would recommend them to any bride looking for understanding and professional sales representatives, but encourage you to SPEAK UP if you're not getting the service you deserve. They really do care about their customers, you just need to take a little initiative sometimes. My review is the cumulative score of the two experiences.

FOR THE MOST PART DAVIDS BRIDAL WAS AWESOME....AND THE ALTERATIONS DEPT WERE AWESOME!!!
GUEST

Rob and Ashley were AWESOME when it came to helping me take care of all of our formal wear needs at the David's Bridal in Wilmington. My wedding had very little lead time and there was no room for error as the time between engagement and actual event was less than 4 months.I initially went in at the beginning of August 2010 without an appointment, and with my 9 year old daughter in tow, and we were immediately welcomed and given a room and all the time we needed to shop and try things on.While Ashley was my bridal assistant, Rob (the manager) helped out so much in the process too. I tried on a variety of dresses for my Key West wedding and each time, they offered honest insights into what they thought was working and what they thought should go back on the rack. I settled on a dress, paid a deposit, and a couple weeks later, one of my best friends came in with me so I could show her my gown and pay the balance. When I tried on the gown to get my girlfriend's opinion, she HATED the dress I picked out and insisted I try on other gowns. Again, no appointment at all, but Ashley didn't bat an eye and said "Let's try on other stuff before you spend all that money!"I spent almost 2 hours trying on new dresses, and at one point, I was very overwhelmed. Rob pulled me aside and said "What do *you* want? Because this day is about YOU and your fiance...not anyone else!" and he gave me a huge hug and brought me back to earth. I ended up getting the dress I wanted to begin with, and I may not have done so had Rob not been there. In addition to my gown, we also purchased my daughter's and step-daughter's dresses, as well as all of our shoes, handbags and jewelry...and we didn't do it in one trip either. I went in on a couple more of occasions to get my daughter's and my step-daughter's dresses and every time, we were met with the same professionalism and attention to detail that I received as a bride. My step-daughter is difficult to fit and both Ashley and Terri helped us out tremendously with her gown. My stepdaughter lives 200 miles away, and they did everything they could to help us in their store, and even offered to help us out if we needed it with the David's Bridal local to my stepdaughter. As far as delivery time and alterations, my gown came in in two weeks, my daughter's arrived in 6 days and my stepdaughter's came in in 9 days. I needed no real alterations per se...it was strapless so we simply added cups to the bodice and they pressed it for free. I had to pay 10 for a garment bag and they actually shipped my dress for me for no extra charge to my wedding planner in Key West...I just had to pay the FedEx bill itself. There was no pressure on us to do the minimal alterations for my daughters' gowns in that store either...they were completely ok when we said we would just get the hems done elsewhere.I cannot say enough about David's Bridal in Wilmington. We love everyone in that store so much that we actually had our stepdaughter come down here to get her prom gown...and that went off without a hitch too! Love you guys! Thanks for everything and we will definitely be back any time we need formal wear!

I ordered my dress from David's Bridal in Wilmington DE in August when my wedding was scheduled for April 2011. A few weeks later and we were moving the wedding up to Nov 2010! I called Davids and they arranged for the dress to be in on time and any alterations to be completed by then! When it came, I had lost weight and didn't need any alterations at all! It fit perfectly and looked amazing. Very elegant! They pressed the dress for free and I was able to pick it back up just a few days later a week before the wedding. My only negative comment is that they didn't offer a garment bag with the purchase, you had to pay extra, and I asked for a few beads to be sewn back on and they forgot. But it was hardly noticable and they probably forgot since there were no other alterations.

Who doesn't love David's Bridal!!! Carmen and Jessica helped me make my day perfect!!!! :)

My dress and the bridesmaids dress were great quality and a great price too.
GUEST

David's Bridal is a great place to get my bridesmaid's outfits since they cater to many different sizes.

Wendi was my consultant and I was told the I have a time limit with her. That was fine. I think it was 60-90 minutes. Not 20 minutes into my time she started helping another customer and I had to do alot of standing around. I already knew what 2 dresses I wanted to try on so she pulled them and 1 extra one for me and walked away. My maid of honor didn't really know what to do and everytime we had a question we had to stop another sales associate. I would not go back if I had to buy another wedding dress (I hope I won't have to). My Maid of honor that was in my wedding is getting married in 9 months and I told her not to even go there for my maid of honor dress! Needless to say ... we will not be going to David's Bridal in Wilmington, DE

Very nice staff who were all helpful. Accommodated me as a walk in on a Saturday during high-time of wedding season. Hard time with communication in store-waited quite some time to get my dress with many people going back and forth and getting side tracked, but it's a very busy store. They didn't call to let me know my dress was in, and it sat for a few weeks, but I had it in plenty of time.
GUEST

I had a great experience with David's Bridal. Although the "try on" area is not as fancy as most private salons, the sales associate Carmen was great to work with and I had a great time with my Bridesmaids. I tried on about 15 dresses, they had my size in all of them, ended up having to order my dress and it came in about 3 weeks later. Great turnaround time, great prices - beautiful selection.
GUEST

I bought my wedding dress here which was really a knee length bridesmaid dress. The staff was awesome and very attentive even though my 2 year old nephew was with me. They didn't have the exact dress in my size so I ended up trying something very similar to judge the size. As a bigger girl I was worried about it not fitting just right or even right enough to alter it but it worked out beautifully. The price was reasonable although if I was buying an actual wedding dress I may have tried a different business.

I made an appointment at David's Bridal, but when I got there they had lost my information and had to scramble to find someone to work with me. I told the salesperson I wanted a dress that was simple, maybe a little offbeat or different, fo my Halloween wedding. I also stressed no white, because it washes me out, only ivory. The woman just kept bringing me super traditional bright white ballgowns to try on. It's like she couldn't hear me. I did end up going with David's for my bridesmaids' dresses, because I liked that the girls could choose whatever style dress suited them the most all in the same color - I went with Apple. But I went elsewhere for my dress. David's Bridal has very reasonable prices, but the money saved wasn't worth me completely compromising on what kind of dress I wanted.
GUEST

I got my Wedding dress from Davids Bridal in Delaware. I went to that store twice before buying my dress. The first time i went on a Saturday. Do not EVER go on a saturday. The store was so busy. I had to share a dressing room with a random other bride and the lady helping me( i can't remember her name) did not help me try on my dresses or listen to what i wanted. I said strapless she brought me everything but. My mom and one of my bridesmaids had to go look through the dresses themselves. My mom convinced me to go back, saying that it was that bad because the store was so busy. So i made another appointment for a Wednesday. The lady that i was working with was very nice at first but when i wanted to try on a dress that i had already tried on she got such an attitude. It was the only one of the 5 that i tried on that i liked. I didn't understand the problem. I was the only person in the store. I tired it on and ended up buying that dress. I picked up my new dress in about 6 weeks. I glanced at the dress but didn't think i needed to really examine it it was BRAND NEW. I went to a local seamstress for alterations, i only needed a bustle. The seamstress found 2 missing hooks. The lace in the back was not secure on one side. Some of the beading was falling off. It was a week before the wedding and i just had her fix it all but i was very angry with Davids Bridal. I would not go back there. Go to a local bridal store you'll get better quality and better service.

I have never been to a David's Bridal where the people seemed to be so ill-trained and incompetent at their jobs. I got my dress at the David's Bridal in Franklin, TN when I was living there at the time. But the one in Wilmington, DE was beyond words. They totally messed up bridesmaid's names, had the wedding date wrong, and when bridesmaid's dresses came in, they would call (maybe) me and email me, but never contact the bridesmaid...which they said they would when the order was placed. Somehow one of my bridesmaids ordered her dress over the phone and they put it under her first name but my last name...totally different too. Just not very bright people there. Needless to say, I didn't trust having alterations done there. So I went elsewhere.
GUEST

My dress was beautiful, and I got a lot of compliments on it, but the service was horable. They wanted to charge me 120 for alterations on my dress and only one side needed a 1/4 of an inch because of the way it was designed..outrageous....the lady for the alterations was very rude and unproffesional...she told me i was too young to be getting married and made various comments about my body....when i went to pick it up after alterations the first time they messed it up even more and made it way too small and messed up the beading when they redid it....they had a fit about taking my dress back out....then when I went to pick it up the second time hadn't even cleaned it.....overall my dress was beautiful but I wouldn't go back

We used Davids Bridal for our invitations. They were beautiful and very classy! We received many comments on how attractive they were. They were very reasonably priced, excellent quality, and quick turn around time.
GUEST

I live in Florida but the wedding was in Delaware so I bought the dress in Delaware. I loved everything about David's except for the alterations department.
GUEST

We got my dress, the MOB dress and both bridesmaids dresses at this location. They have a beautiful selection and wonderful sale prices. BUT.....Please be wary of there customer service. They have problems with telephone messages and having the correct contact information for the customer.
GUEST

Horrible service...only thing goo about this place was the decent price. If you can afford to go some where else do it.
GUEST

Terrific consultant who outfitted our party off the rack in 90 minutes! Worked with me to get alterations completed on a tight timeline.
GUEST

1st let me say the sales associate I ultimately ended up dealing with was great (Carmen). However, I know places like these will be very busy on the weekends. But I would think any Bride regardless of wedding party size or the Bride's age should not matter, if they want to make money. 1st question I got do you have an appointment, how many people whens the wedding, I originally only went in for my maid of honors dress, but she convinced me to try on a couple more dresses. I felt like we weren't important because I wasn't a 1st time bride. We were both looking for something specific, it took a while before we got any assistance because we were not the traditional wedding party and we wouldn't need any other services, I was flying out of town and already had everything booked. We found our dresses on our own after 2+ hours, then Carmen appeared thank you, she helped us with the accessorys and smaller sizes and didn't treat us like we were in the way/bother.
GUEST

I did get an amazing dress for a great price! However, the day I went to pick up my dress, it was my dress but in the wrong color! Then when they finally got the correct dress in, I asked that it be shipped to my house since I did not want to drive an hour to pick it up. Well, little did I know it would come rolled into a ball and shoved into a box that you would use to send office supplies. A little 12 x 12 box. My dress was wrinkled. When the first dress came in wrong, they had no sympathy for me the BRIDE!!!! When I opened the bag and started to cry the sales person said oh - what do you mean it isn't your dress? I asked for a manager and even the store manager wasn't sympathetic. She said well you still have time - no need to be upset. We will get you a new dress or you can have the model dress in the store and we will charge you for alterations and cleaning!!! Are you kidding me?! This same scenario happened to a friend of mine who was getting married around the same time. They messed up her dress and one of her bridesmaids.Stay away!
GUEST

I loved my dress. It was the first one I tried on and I knew it was the one. The dress came in quickly and so did my bridesmaid dresses. They were also able to trade out one of my girl's dresses for a larger size when she asked. The service wasn't exceptional, but everyone I worked with was professional. And I had no problems getting what I wanted.
GUEST

I love love love love my wedding dress. And I would recommend David's to anyone looking for a dress. However, the alteration costs are ridiculous and the professionalism of the people working at these stores is awful. I went to two different ones, one in NJ and one in DE. Neither store had very helpful sales people, though the one in DE was better than the one in NJ. They are always crowded and always understaffed, so there is no one available to help you when you really need it. But like i said, I LOVE my dress.
GUEST

I really like my wedding gown.
GUEST

I had an awesome time picking out not only my wedding dress but helping my bridesmaids pick out the best dress for their style. I think everyone should atleast one time in their life experience the service at David's Bridal.
GUEST

The girls were very helpful and accommodating at David's Bridal. They always spent whatever time you needed/wanted to try on dresses and make sure they were what you wanted. They ordered me a dress that was way too big and I had to pay big bucks for alterations - my dress had two layers and I had to pay twice to get them shortened. I also had to get 2 sets of cups sewn in and had to pay for each of those. The dresses are relatively inexpensive, but they get you with alteration fees. The bridesmaids just needed hemming on their dresses, so we took them elsewhere to get them hemmed - it was a lot cheaper.
GUEST

Beautiful dress. No problems with service. Got our own seamstress to do the alterations. Would go back again if needed.
GUEST

I would never again use David's Bridal. This store has an issue with properly keeping me in the loop concerning some of the issues of shipping my maid of honors dress. After the mess with my maid of honor was complete, I ran into another issue with them when my alterations were not completed correctly and it was only 2 weeks out to my wedding. They stressed me out to the max when I should have been having a better expierence. I would not recommend.
GUEST

I loved my dress! It was amazing and for a really great price. The store and the lady who helped me was so busy, but I do not even mind because of how great my and my bridesmaids, and flower girls dresses turned out!

I purchased my wedding dress at David's Bridal. While their prices are sometimes steep, I was able to find the perfect dress on clearance. Our assistant was very helpful, bringing in dresses for me to try on that were within the guidelines I had mentioned. She was very attentive to our needs. Unfortunately, their stock was not tailored to small women. I'm a size three and the selection was very limited. The other services, such as gowns for my attendants, were overpriced and did not offer as broad selection as I had desired. The website was not very helpful.
GUEST

The very first dress I tried on ended up being "the one" and the help I received was awesome. The ladies were eager to help and give their opinion on the dresses I had. The other nice thing the dress was on sale and it was within my budget.
GUEST

i really do not think i would ever go back to davids bridal for a wedding dress again- the lady that was helping me pick out dresses didnt listen to anything i said and just went with what she wanted me to try on - luckily i did find THE one out of the 15 that i tried on. then she asked my mom if she wanted to try to find a dress my mom said yes and she said oh ok well the granny section is over there!!!!! ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING ME! my mom was 40 at the time (41 when i got married) and that is young to be a mother of the bride! i mean my husbands mom is almost in her 60s (he was a oopsie- lol) but yeah! so no i would not go back there and have help from them people!

The dress that I wore had a very long train that I wanted bustled up in a cascading way and Davids saw my vision and produced it. The dress was breath taking when it was bustled. I never thought that I would get a dress from Davids, but I am so glad that I did.

I went to David's because I was short on time and money, but I would not recommend them if you have other options available to you. I feel that they are not that helpful when finding YOUR dress, they almost force you into using their alterations services, which I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, and just don't have an overall good feel.

I was very pleased with David's bridal for all of my needs. I dressed myself and my wedding party with all David's bridal products. They worked well with me and my dress was perfect. However, with my maid of honor dress everything did not go as well. When we went to the alterations appointment the person fixing my maid of honor's dress was extreemly rude and unprofessional. She hinted to her that she looked fat in the dress and that she needed to go up a size, because she did not look as good as the other two. But in reality the dress fit her perfect and the only alteration that needed to be done to the dress was the hem. Even her co-workers who were fixing mine and my other bridesmaid dresses said that her dress fit her perfect. She acted like a child and would not let the subject go, my maid of honor was practically in tears. I was apalled at the way this women acted. And to top things off when she went back a month later to pick up her dress, it was not done. The other two dresses that went to get altered the same day were finished, and hers was untouched. Overall I was happy with David's Bridal, it was just the one women who really made me upset with them. I would recommend them, but I think I would get my dress altered elsewhere.
GUEST

Davids Bridal was so helpful in the planning of my wedding. The associate that was chosen to help me that day got all of my info and my bridal party as well as my husband and his guys. She kept in touch with me, just to make sure everything was going smoothly. She was so nice and very helpful. She made things nice and smooth.
GUEST

Not a bad price for my dress, overall i loved my wedding dress from here
GUEST

I went to Davids to check out the selection of wedding dresses. When I entered I was harrassed by five different sales people about whether I was registered with them and if I had an appointment. I was then informed five times that without registering I could not try on any of the dresses. I did not purchase my dress from Davids. They had maybe 20 differents designs of dress, but they all looked the same. I did eventually get my junior bridesmaid and flower girl dresses from Davids. I did not appreciate that even with an appointment my consultant was dealing with 4 other clients also. She was also uninformed about their products. I would ask if they had a certain dress in a size or color or how long it would take to receive. She kept leaving to find the answers from another consultant or book. I have to say that since they mass produce their dresses the wait time for arrival is shorter than most bridal boutiques. And their prices are lower.

As most people know, David's Bridal is one of the most common places to shop for a wedding dress. I searched many local shops for something unique, but no one had the floor sample stock, service, and accessories of David's Bridal. Perhaps it was because I was shopping in Delaware, but I ended up finding a dress I loved at David's, even after visiting a handful of mom n pop shop bridal stores.David's has great sales. I found that the higher-end dresses fit better and looked better than the cheaper ones. I ended up buying an Oleg Cassini dress during a sale where they were offering $200 of designer dresses. I didn't have to get the gigantic waist-to-bust bra or the petticoat either -- the dress looked great without either. I spent $750 on a $950 dress, and then paid for the bustle ($30), $10 for the garment bag, and about $15 to have the ordered dress shipped to my parents' house in California. I didn't require any additional alterations, which I'm sure saved us a lot of money. The service at David's is interesting. When they're busy you'll have one woman assisting a handful of brides, so you have to be patient. However, go in during non-peak hours and you'll get lots of one-on-one attention!
GUEST

We had a great experience with prompt service. WE were offered water, and they really catered well to us
GUEST

Individual consultants can be very helpful, but I was told I'd be able to have the waist taken in, and then it was not possible, so my dress did not fit exactly as I'd planned.
GUEST

I believe they did an ok job.. it's basically a processing plant for brides - you dont get the attention you really deserve, but they do a good enough job. If you are looking for a "cheap" dress (under $1000) that everyone else is going to have, this is the place to go! I think it's a very good starting place if you are dress hunting.. go there first, try on the styles that you like and then find a smaller designer store that has the styles that you like.
GUEST

Everyone at the David's Bridal in Wilmington, DE was very friendly and helpful. I tried on numerous dresses (as most brides to be do) and they didn't seem to try to pressure me or push me out the door. I would definitely recommend!!
GUEST

I bought a dress here and had it altered... A LOT! I was very pleased with the work that was done...the selection was limited though for dresses but I really liked the price which included the extensive alterations I had done!
GUEST

I actually didn't have much help finding a dress from the associates but that may have something to do with my mom and sister and mother in law looking for dresses for me. Go figure the last dress I tried on that my mom picked out was the one for me. The dress I tried on fit perfect but I decided to order a new one instead of taking the one from the rack...big mistake. I ended up paying over 200 dollars to a seamstress to make the dress fit.The associate also seemed to be awfully pushy about accessories (like jewelry and shoes) when I hadn't decided on a dress yet. She didn't seem to mention the underslip which I didn't think about and had to borrow from a friend las minute. The seamstress did a beautiful job and my dress was gorgeous. I found my accessories from a different store and everything went beautifully.
