David's Country Inn

I was not from the area where my wedding was going to take place, so my first experience with David's Country Inn was its website. It seemed like a charming place with history and class, so it made our short list. We had seen a number of venue choices already, and while they were very nice (including one where we nearly put down a deposit), none of them really called to us as THE PLACE... yet! Most places seemed either too corporate, too cookie cutter, or the people who ran the business inspired no confidence or no personal connection with would-be clients. We arrived at David's Country Inn for our first in person appointment and viewing of the facility, and we were completely blown away by everything. The place was even nicer than it looks online – unique, beautiful, charming, and warm. But what really put us over the top was meeting with the manager and staff. From the beginning, we worked with Chris, Teddi, and Jordan - whose professionalism and savvy are matched only by their amazing character. Everyone at David's that I worked with was friendly, accommodating, professional, and BOY did they know their stuff! They were efficient, pleasant, and at every turn, you felt like you were their most important client and that they truly cared about your day. The entire planning process was great - they seamlessly took care of the details with the reception, the cake, the flowers, and the cocktail hour music. Chris and Teddi were always very responsive and helpful (and I give them credit because I am a bit of a control freak!), and I am pretty sure that on the night of, I saw Jordan even pitching in to serve soup! There were a few snags on my end (I thought I was moving out of state for a while, we had some last minute changes and cancellations, etc), but everything was expertly handled by the staff at David's. I couldn't be happier with how my wedding reception turned out. The place was decorated beautifully, the flowers were gorgeous, the food was incredible (I especially loved the hors d'oeuvres, the soup, and the cake), and the vendor set up and vendor meals were seamlessly handled. As I mentioned above, there were a few day of changes that I had to make because of things NOT stemming from David's, but I never had to even think twice about them as they completely took care of everything without issue. Even my guests remarked on how friendly, resourceful, and accommodating the staff was. On the big day, they thought of everything! Before I could even think to ask, they had conveniently packed up all of my belongings, any outstanding decorations, cards, and flowers, and the top tier of my wedding cake for me to easily drop off in my car. They were also incredibly patient as my guests spent forever in the main room buzzing with excitement after such a lovely evening. To make a long story short: I was drawn to David's by its charm and beauty, but booked because I felt that the owners and staff were good people who care about their clients and knew their business well. And even so, they went above and beyond my expectations to make my wedding reception a party that people continue to applaud. If you're thinking about booking your wedding or other event here, DO IT! You will not be disappointed!P.S. - My photographer loved the venue as there are so many fantastic places with a lot of variety to take pictures inside.

David’s Country Inn is a spectacular venue. I was looking for a venue that was not your typical banquet facility. It is so magical and there is no venue like it. From the moment I walked into the doors I knew I was getting married there. It truly offers something for everyone. It has different rooms that all my guests could go to, a ballroom with a gorgeous Balcony that myself and my bridal party walked down. The room for the cocktail hour was fantastic with an unbelievable bar and stained glass ceiling. My guests could walk all around the venue or have a nice conversation in the a room with 2 fireplaces. The two grand staircases were perfect for pictures. David’s Country Inn has the most amazing Staff. Chris worked with me to create the exact wedding I was looking for. He was there for me every step of the way. Along side of him are wonderful team members that want nothing more but to create the most magical day – which they all did for me. The food is wonderful! David’s Country Inn has created the most affordable wedding package which includes the cake and flowers that my guest got to leave with. Chris had recommendations for all vendors that I needed, DJ, Photographer, and Hotel. Rating this venue with 5 Stars is not enough – If I could give 10 Stars I would.

David's Country Inn was a dream come true! From this minute I walked in, I knew it was exactly where I wanted to get married! You can not beat the atmosphere, and since they only have one wedding a day, you truley feel like you are at home! All of the guests said how much they enjoyed the food, and the cake (which was included) was a BIG hit! People are still talking about it weeks later! Everything was PERFECT! This place is a hidden treasure! If you are getting married, I really suggest you look here!!! :)

David's Country Inn was a dream come true. They did everything for me!!! They provided a florist, the cake, an absolutely delicious array of food, and a wonderful atmosphere. They even gave me recommendations for a DJ, photographer, and officiant. (I used their recommendations on all 3!!) They truly made me feel like I was their most important client. They were extremely professional, and kind. Their staff is excellent!! Without being too biased, I would have to say my wedding was the most fun I've ever had at any wedding!!

I fell in love with David's Country Inn the minute I walked into the building. Everything is absolutely gorgeous, intimate, and romantic!! The building has so much character and history. It completely blew away some of the more "modern" venues I was considering. The staff was also amazing. Chris is extremely helpful and professional and was very flexible with our package. It was great having the cake and flowers included in the package, definitely one-stop shopping! We had the whole place to ourselves for the entire day which made for a relaxing environment to get ready in and the bridal suite was just lovely. My favorite room was the ladies bathroom upstairs with a gorgeous hand-painted mural!! The staff did such an excellent job during the event. Everything was completely seamless and they went above and beyond my (extremely high) expectations. I am still getting compliments and many guests have said it was the best wedding they have ever attended. I also really liked how they took apart the centerpieces and made bouquets for all the ladies at the end of the night. It was such a unique and fun idea! I highly highly recommend this venue and would give it six stars if I could!!

It doesn't get any better than this!! David's Country Inn is an amazing place to get married. The atmosphere of David's is so quaint and cozy and I could not have asked for anything more. Pictures by the fireplace are priceless!! The wrap around balcony is so elegant. My guests said what a grand entrance I made making my way around the balcony and down the staircase. They have also said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been too. The staff at David's did EVERYTHING from the flowers to the cake. I was truly able to enjoy my wedding because they took care of all the details. Thank you David's Country Inn for making my wedding TRULY AMAZING!!!

From the minute I walked into the doors at David's and met with Chris, I knew this was it. All I did was walk into the ballroom, and I was sold. From the elegant decor, to the original, rustic, antiques within the building, I knew this was were I wanted to get married. Chris was a pleasure to work with, and was willing to work with my parents, husband and myself with whatever the matter may have been. The food was wonderful, there were many more choices than other venues around. The only complaint that I received from my guests, was that the bartenders were very rude and abrupt.

We had our ceremony and reception at David's Country Inn, and we were so happy with our day.I have a lot of food allergies and they were very accomodating, substituting ingredients to ensure I wouldn't have to worry about a thing. The food was delicious, the ambience was romantic, and everything just ran so smoothly.One of the great things about David's is their on-site florist. Our flowers were even more beautiful than I imagined! Overall, it was a perfect event and we're so happy that we chose David's Country Inn.
