Lots of options for bigger girls!!

I got my dress from David's Bridal and I was extremely happy with it!! Sophia was the manager during my appointment and picked the most perfect dresses. I only gave her a couple ideas of what I was thinking and she picked most of the dresses I had marked in the catalog (she didn't even look at the catalog). The dress I ended up getting wasn't even one I had marked in the catalog but it was amazing! I felt absolutely beautiful and didn't even need any alterations. Sophia completely made my experience wonderful, she was bubbly and excited the entire time.
I did take my dress into alterations at David's to get the bustle done and I was amazed at how it came out. They did an amazing job with it. Everyone was pleased and said the bustle totally added to the dress rather than take away from it.

I wasnt planning to come here until I had visited all the other wedding dress places but after a bad experience at Elegant Bride, I went straight to Davids. They had a greater variety of dresses than i had initially thought. I was sold on the customer service. my coordinator was the best, she was delicate, helpful and patient. She wasnt pushing a sale but was really working with me to find the perfect dress and even though the first one I tried on was it, she still waited and brought out all the dresses that met what I was looking for just to make sure. The price was the best part. Everyone thought my dress was beautiful and more expensive than it was. I was especially happy because I also got to use a coupon! :) I would recommend Davids Bridal to anyone looking for a wedding dress. You can go to any other place but go here as well and you will see that the customer service does not compare. This place is the best!

David's Bridal is extremely OVERRATED. My wife wanted to try on a specific style of dress, but the lady would not have any of it. She would constantly bring out high priced dresses, that were not to the taste of the bride, and pressure her into purchasing one. My wife had to walk around her to view the dresses on the rack.

I loved my dress. However, the employees are not very personable. Your just another sale. I do not like how they help more than one person at a time. But! I should have known that. So yeah, if you want a pretty dress sure if you want someone to help you, don't go there.

The sales rep was very helpful in calling around to other stores to check availability for the veil that I wanted. We were able to find it and decided the best option was to order online. She made the experience very pleasant despite it being a very busy Sunday afternoon in the store.

David's Bridal has a huge selection of bridal, bridesmaid, and flower girl dresses. The dresses are all very affordable. After shopping around at little boutiques were we received much better service, we settled on David's because of the prices. Overall, the service was terrible. Despite having appointments every time every time that I went into David's I ended up having to wait 30 minutes or more for a dressing room or sales lady. Alterations took much longer than estimated and cost more than I was told it would. If you can afford another shop, I would recommend not choosing to purchase dresses at David's.

I loved my wedding dress, and I think that David's Bridal has great sales, and very good prices. However, I was unhappy with how pushy they were, and at times very very rude to me. For example, their seamstress told me I was way to fat to fit into my wedding dress, which I had worn about 6 times, and when she saw me in it she never apologized. They would also over book the amount of brides coming in to the amount of rooms they have, so there was always a huge line waiting for your room, the consultants made me feel rushed to try on my dress and then get out. With a large amount of people it also made the building really hot so everyone was sweating because we were so packed into the building. If you're looking for a great deal on a dress then I would recommend David's Bridal. But, if you prefer really great service then I do not recommend them.

some stores might have better service

I purchased my dress from David's Bridal. You can find some great deals there if you take the time to look. I ended up buying a "Mother of the Brides" Dress but it was just like a wedding dress. My other suggestion is defiantley make an appointment.

I found David's Bridal to be the best place to get my dress, by bridesmaids dresses, and my mother of the bride dress. I made an appointment everytime I went. I am from out of town and David's Bridal was very accommidating to that. At my first dress appointment I found the perfect dress. The lady that helped me was wonderful...she found the dress, the tiara, and my veil...it was perfect. My bridesmaid did not have any trouble getting their dresses or shoes. One of my bridesmaids ended up being pregant and they gladly changed her dress out for her. I had a great experience with David's Bridal and would recommend them. I did not go during the summer which seems to be the busiest times for them.

I loved my dress that I found a David's, but working with them was a disaster. If my 5 aunt's had not come to my house the night before my wedding my train would have looked like a window dressing. They messed my orders so many times that I finally would only deal with the District Manager in Modesto, CA. They dyed shoes wrong colors, lost items, fittings were a nightmare, because they told me they had made the alterations and hadn't. AHHH.... Will never do business with them again!

My dress was amazing and not too expensive. My bridal party dresses were beautiful and everyone looked great! The only negative about the experience was that when I first went, an employee was assigned to my wedding and was suppose to work with me throughout the process. However, they fail to notify me when she not longer worked their, so when I went back to pick out bridesmaid dresses, they couldn't find my file and no one seemed to know anything. Otherwise, everything went ok. I thought the alteration cost was a bit much though.

My experience with David's Bridal was the worst ever! First off they ordered my wedding dress and told me it would look different than it did when it arrived. They said it would have gold beading but in reality it had silver beading. So the $400-500+ I spent on my jelwelry, Tiara, and gold beaded veil were the start of the disaster. They never ordered one of my Bridesmaids dresses so they were going to give her one off the rack till I raised hell. They misplaced a couple of the shoes they were supposed to dye black so they had to reorder new ones. And then to top it off the seamstress fitted me into my dress and asked me if I would like the French or Traditional bustle. I told her I wanted the French so she charged me for it but two days before my wedding when I was to pick up my dress I got a Tradtional bustle. I told told them that they needed to fix it but they said they would have to charge me for the alteration!!!!! YEAH RIGHT!!! To sum up my experience it was aweful! I would recommend going some place else for you dress....if planning a wedding wasn't a headache enough!!

It was so easy. I tried on 3-5 dresses and the first dress I tried on was the last dress I tried on! The lady that initially helped my mom and I with the dresses was super nice and very helpful. Then when we went back to purchase the dress, we found one of my old childhood friends there that was able to help check us out. Overall it was, it was a wonderful experience and the price was excellent!

I bought my amazing wedding dress from David's Bridal! I was so blown away with the service and patience I got from the bridal consultant there. She worked with my bridesmaid's sizing issues, and helped me with all my questions and concerns. Everything fit and came in on time.

They were great at helping me locate the dress I wanted. Unfortunately, the original sales lady who helped me, ordered my dress in the wrong size. The dress was discontinued and they could not get one in a larger size. The sales woman who helped me on the second trip (which was supposed to have been my fitting), was so sweet and tried everything in her power to make it so that I could wear the original dress I bought. After an hour of tears and one grumpy bride to be, the sales lady worked out a deal with her manager and I ended up with my 2nd choice dress (which worked out for the best because I loved it so much more). All of the staff was such a help, I had about 4 sales women helping me pick out other dresses and accessories. By the end of the evening, I left the store with an amazing dress, a stunning tiara (which was given to me for all of my troubles) and a very simple but elegant veil (all at no extra cost for my problems). This store really took care of me. They were wonderful.

Found dress that was clearanced stilllittle pricey but with in the budget

David's Bridal has UNBELIEVABLE prices!! My dress was to die for and I got it on sale for 300$. You can't beat that. However, you unfortunately have to sort of fend for yourself at DB! When I was trying on my gown, my MOM had to go and get a different size for me because the sales girl was taking a phone call quite a distance away. They got my orders confused several times, and then realized almost near my wedding date that they were supposed to die my bridesmaid's shoes red and hadn't done so yet. They are somewhat unorganized and their computer system seems to go on the fritz at times. My recommendation is to search online first for what you want, have an idea (and an item number if possible!!) in mind when you go, and ask for specific things. If you're wanting to browse or get recommendations from someone who works there- good luck. :) They are always very busy. The value is certainly worth it, I love my dress to this day. However, if its someone to pamper you and be at your side while you try on dresses that you want- DB is not the place for you. Stay on top of things to make sure they have everything right in the computer and its all getting done on time, and you're good to go!

I heart David's Bridal....after spending MONTHS looking for a dress in every swanky boutique in the Bay Area, I was at my wits end....Wedding dress shopping was not what I would call enjoyable....everywhere I went, I ended up leaving in tears. Finally, I broke down and went with my then fiance and future mother in law to David's Bridal....thinking that it was the Wal Mart of Bridal stores. Much to my delight, the staff was knowlegeable, helpful and the designer gowns georgus. Hours later, I walked out with my gown, veil and flower girl dress and was the happiest bride ever....but maybe not in the most traditional way! Thank you so much!

The good news: I got a beautiful dress for a good price.

The bad news: This is your classic evil bridal shop. And this one is crazy busy so you get the pleasure of waiting around for long periods of time. Do not even think about going there without an appointment.

But I did find my perfect beautiful dress there so I must recommend!
