David's Bridal

I love their dresses and more importantly their prices. They have a wide seletion and great colors, and even better they have stores all over the country so my Maid of honor in wisconsin can do all her try ons and alterations there.

Did not buy my dress from them because they were not very nice, but we did buy our bridesmaids shoes and sashes from them. Those turned out great!

I am excited about davids bridal's new online shopping. I find the prices are less expensive then shopping in the store.

I went in with my bridesmaids and they beat me there by a little bit and the employees were rude to them and wouldn't let them touch anything, I think because they thought it was younger girls just trying to have fun. I fell in love with my dress though and the specialist they gave us after I got there was amazing. Be prepared to spend several hours there and make sure you have an appointment, we were there about 3 hours and I only tried on 4 dresses before I found the one I fell in love with. Daytime is the best to go because it seems to be less crowded.

I went dress shopping with my best friend and liked how David’s Bridal always had ongoing sales, and would always put last year styles on sale for half or less of what the dress original sold for. The staff is nice, but not as knowledgeable as the staff at other bridal stores I went to. I found a dress in a lace style that looked beautiful. The only drawback was that it needed lots of alteration in the bust and length.

I got drawn into David’s Bridal because they always advertise great sales and the name was the one stuck on my mind. I went with my mom, tried on dresses from both the prom collection, bridesmaids collection, and bridal collection. I loved that they had so many dresses in my size. I think they have beautiful dresses, and the staff is pretty nice. I hated sharing the big mirror with other brides, though. I would prefer if they had a bigger or different style dressing room.

They did a good job on the alterations. I didn’t meet really have a chance to talk with the seamstress, she was quiet but she seemed nice.

I wanted to get a really simple dress, but my problem was that I waited until the last minute. Three months before the wedding was when I decided to go shopping, and I was told that the dresses I wanted would need to be ordered in and that it could take up to eight weeks. I finally went to David’s Bridal and was able to buy something right off the rack and have it altered that week. I liked my dress, I thought I looked beautiful and I looked like a bride. I just wish I would have started my dress shopping sooner because there were other dresses I saw that I liked more, but was afraid they wouldn’t arrive in time.

They hemmed the dress, which was about all that was needed. I liked it because it wasn’t expensive, less than $30 to have a wedding dress hemmed seems like a good price.

I’ll admit that I called and made my appointment at David’s Bridal after I saw the commercial for the 99$ dress sale. I had just gotten engaged and was excited at the idea of getting a good deal on a dress. The store has ready to wear and buy dresses, meaning that if they have it in your size you can buy it on the spot and walk out with it. Ultimately wearing the dress that I was going to be wearing at my wedding was the reason I went with David’s Bridal. I didn’t like the idea of ordering in a dress, mainly because I never had a good experience ordering in clothing. They also have sizes 2 to 16, which made finding a dress in my size easy.

I like David’s Bridal because they offer dresses in many different price ranges and styles and also in sizes. I went and found so many dresses that fit. I was worried that I would have to lose weight for my wedding, but I found a dress that looked right on me in the size that I was. The sales person who helped me was an idiot, though. She wore a really short skirt, and I didn’t think it was appropriate. I also think she was socially awkward, and it’s important to be good with people when you’re working with brides. I ignored her opinions and just asked her to get me dresses. I found my dress, but not because of her.

If I had it to do again I would NOT use them. I got my wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses, and flowergirl dresses from them. Went picked up wedding dress, got it home and discovered there were slashed cuts down the from from someone using a box knife to open the merchandise. One of two bridemaids dresses came in as wrong size, underbra for wedding dress was wrong size. Then to top it off, the manager who placed the order for flowergirl dresses orderd two different dresses (one of them being right & the other wrong). The flower girl dress, bridesmaid dress & bra had to be re-ordered & came in 2 days before my wedding & still needed alterations. I asked for the name and number for district manager and that seems to be a secret. No one would help except the lady who did all the fittings.

David’s Bridal did a great job of helping fit the wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses. They were very professional and took their time to work with us individually. David’s Bridal had a great selection and was very affordable. We would recommend David’s Bridal to anyone looking to get married. They also have very convenient locations in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Arkansas, Texas, and Missouri.
