So I waited until I had gone through the whole process before writing this review.

My experience at Oxnard DB was absolutely wonderful. We were customer serviced to death....but in a good way!
My initial appt was in February, and my sales person was Alyssa. She was fantastic! She handled the crowded dressing area, my mom, sister, aunt & future-mother-in-law, as well as myself, like a pro. She advised me on everything from undergarments to hair accessories. She listened to what I wanted & advised me on both the positive & negatives of styles of dresses for my size & shape.
I came in with 2 dresses that were on my must try list & then I was open to whatever else was suggested. We tried on 4 dresses (both of my must trys were laughable!!) & then THE ONE.....you really do get "that feeling" like they always say, by the way!!! And I got to take it home that day! No ordering or waiting for 4-6 months.
We were there when they were having one of their annual sales so we got the whole kit 'n caboodle for less than $900; dress, corset, petticoat, veil & preservation kit.
I returned in June to have my alterations done. The alterations manager Maria is just as wonderful & knowledgeable as Alyssa. She had me pinned & measured in no time. They had the dress completely altered, cleaned & pressed in 4 weeks. And it is beautiful! I can not believe how wonderful I feel in it!!!!!!!! And I can not wait to show my groom on our wedding day!

i had bad service all around the females there are rude and stuck up i will never go back to the oxnard davids bridal again

I found a beautiful gown here. I felt quite rushed though...especially since my saleswoman kept leaving and helping another young woman. She was brash and to the point, she didn't make it feel special. Thanks to my Mom I had a good time. I just hoped the employees would treat their customers kindly so they would want to come back. I have noticed many other people commented on the lack of excellent customer service for this store. What a pity since their gown selection is wonderful.

Davids Bridal employees were soooo rude to not only ME the Bride but to my mother and bridesmaids. My bridesmaids live all over from the west coast to the east coast and the women working there have no people skills and or manners.

I did get a really nice dress but that was because my maid of honor helped me pick it out, try it on, zip me up and do everything that a consultant should have done. I did make an appointment at DB and was given a a consultant but half way through she HAD to take her lunch. If DB knows a client is coming in then that consultant should schedule her lunch before the appointment or after. I was given a fill-in while she was away at lunch and that fill-in was no where to be found. So much for the help trying on a dress! Thanks to my girls who were there with me to help!

My dress was a perfect fit for my height and body type. Will I ever recommend DB or go in there ever again? NO I will not.

I thought David's bridal did a great job considering they were extremely packed each time I went there. They were accomodating when I needed to change the time for my fitting (although I thought costs on alterations were a bit much). LOVED MY DRESS THOUGH!!

Davids bridal is the best place to buy a dress if you are on a budget. they have lots of them and my perfect match was less than $500.00 (before alterations of corse).

Well, what can I say about my dress. It was great! I had a particular type in mind (even brought magazine pics) but after trying on several that looked like the one I wanted, I just couldn't find one and the person helping us, well, wasn't much help. Eventually my mom found a dress SHE liked and FORCED me to try it on. What can I say - sometimes mom knows best! It was perfect and less than we had planned on spending (minus the alterations of course).

David's bridal is a great place to shop for dresses for not just the brides, but the bridesmaids too! It took us the better part of an entire day to find the right dress for me (I am pretty tall) but we did it and while mom and I were doing that, my MOH found the perfect dresses also! They can be very busy at times, but they are helpful and you can't beat their prices.

Some of the sales ladies are very rude. I was lucky; I got a very nice lady who helped me. If you go in to David's Bridal in Oxnard, ask for Tricia A. The other Tricia is also nice.

I went to two different David's Bridal shops (1st time in Oxnard and 2nd in Milpitas). I got better service at the store in Milpitas, but found both places to be helpful. I loved my dress and the price as well as I didn't want to spend a fortune on a wedding dress. Everyone commented on how pretty it was and I didn't have any problems with it. The alterations department was great, although a little pricey after making the hem/bustle changes. Bridesmaid dresses came from here as well and all of the girls enjoyed wearing them.

This company was great. My dress didn't come in until over a month after the date they gave me. The staff was very friendly and helpful

The Oxnard David's Bridal is wonderful! The ladies who work there are so helpful and friendly... I had some bad experiences at other DB's and was almost dreading my visit to the Oxnard store... I went there to finalize my choices for bridesmaid dresses/colors and another time to order shoes for myself & dresses for some of the girls... and each time I went, I felt like I didn't want to leave!

VERY impressive, worth the 2 hour drive for me to get there!

Service was bad; some of the sales people do not listen to customers.

The dresses that they sell are for perfectly shaped bodies there are no dresses there to fit bride’s mates that are a size 16-up. If so they would need to be fitted there for costing more money when in fact I thought the dresses where over priced already. Also for the kids who are over weight as well the same dilemma.

My dress was over priced considering I could have gone to a smaller more pay attention to detail and better quality dresses for the same exact price shop. I spent over $1000 for a dress you where only one day.

The fitting went well and the dress was done on time.

I got a great wedding dress, I had some problems with my bridesmaids dresses I was disappointed with their lack of flexibility and not rush shipping. I was lots of stress and I felt that I had to beg for every bit of extra information or help, however everything turned out perfect and got in on time!

David's Bridal really gives you the most for your money. I found the perfect dress online and came in on a whim. They not only accommodated me last minute but were very helpful with suggestions and such. I also bought my bridesmaid's dresses here, and received a discount for each dress since I purchased my wedding dress there. The best part about DB is that each of your bridesmaids can have a dress that fits their body type and personality and will all match colors perfectly. I would recommend them any day!

Okay ladies - spanning my entire young adult life, David's Bridal was THE LAST place at which I thought I would EVER find my beloved wedding dress. I am a slight snob when it comes to weddings - only the best will do. However, I must confess that my dress and my experience at David's was extremely positive. My parents paid for my dress and they were hesitant to give thousands for a designer dress that I would wear once. My mum forced me to go to David's. I sadly went with her one day and after trying on a few intense bloopers, "the one" came across my eyes. It was designed by Monique Luo, a direct knockoff of Monique Lhuillier (the designer that I had always wanted). I got the dress for a little under $1,000 and it looked like one of Lhuilier's $15,000 dresses. I was happy.

The lady who performed my alterations was incredibly professional - she's good enough to be working for Lhuillier herself. My grandmother purchased her dress at David's as well and she looked stunning. I do have to confess that their bridesmaid dresses are irredeemably ugly. They sometimes look pretty in the catalog but in person they are very poorly made.

Overall, I recommend that you give David's a shot. You could very possibly be surprised like I was!

The sales staff was bad. The quality and prices suprisingly goo.

i got my dress, shoes, and veil from various david's bridals. my best advice is to go when they are not crowded as the stores are so big, i had a really great experience when i went on a weekday morning and had 3 sales people all helping my mom and I, there were only a few other customers in the store so we had their undivided attention. they were very helpful and i loved my dress! so inexpensive too!

I am so glad that I went to David's Bridal for my dress! Not only do they have beautiful gowns but they are affordable and there are so many to choose from! I found my dress on my first visit and it was absolutely beautiful! When I brought my gown in for alterations, they were very accomodating and were able to finish the alterations promptly. I definitely recommend David's Bridal for bridal gowns as well as shoes and jewelry!

ABSOLUTLY HORRIBLE. IF YOU NEED SOMETHING CHEAP THEN I SUGGEST YOU GO WITH THEM, THEY HAVE A BIG SELECTION AT A GREAT COST. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSOLUTLY HORRIBLE.

They were very patient when I asked them to resize my wedding dress. Very satisfied with their service. Dress is a little pricy to me though.

Good selection and helpful associates! Also ended up changing my mind about my dress and they exchanged it with no problems. Got a great sale price too! Alterations were done properly and quickly and were correct the first time.

The staff was very helpful at Davids Bridal. The only recommendation I have is to get what you want when you see it. They tend to discontinue items without any notice.

I chose my dress the second time visited David's Bridal. The first time, I didn't have an appointment but they allowed me to try on dresses anyway. Everyone was so friendly! I purchased my dress, my bride's maid dresses, flower girl and my mother's dress at David's Bridal. I was happy with everything. I think the only thing I didn't buy there was my shoes. For those, I recommend zappos.com but otherwise, my dress was perfect! They allowed me to exchange it for a different size without complaint and let me place orders for my bride's maid dresses in different cities where each bride's maid lived. I was very happy with everything!

My wife said they were great and she loved her dress.

The dress was amazing, the fittings were amazing, it was all a girl could ask for. You'd expect that in a store that sells wedding dresses. But what really set them apart was there service. Long story short, they had the bride's maid dresses I "kind of wanted." They were beautiful, but I thought I could find something better. After months of looking...I couldn't. And I procrastinated. It was two weeks before my wedding and I didn't have my bride's maid dresses. The ladies at David's Bridal knew what I was going through and put in a rush order for me. They didn't even charge me extra! And one of my bride's maids wasn't there to pay, but they put the order in any way and said she could pay later (which they aren't suppose to do). They bent over backwards for me and made sure I had what I needed to make my wedding perfect!

I had such a good experience with David's Bridal. Shopping for a dress isn't easy and i had so many to choose from. I didn't have a lot of time before the wedding date to find a dress, but I was able to find the perfect dress and get it altered to fit me just in time for the wedding. It came down to the last couple weeks, but they got it done. They even saved some of the extra fabric for me when i asked them to. I got the perfect dress and i happened to get a great sales girl to help. I would recommend them to any of my friends. Good luck finding the right dress!

They have a wide varity

They were wonderful, even exchanged my gown for a size smaller 5 days before the wedding.

We loved our experience with David's Bridal. It was nice dealing with them as I had a bride's maid in Texas and one in Fresno and they made it easy to find a dress for everyone in my party. My husband and I are renewing our vows for our 5th year anniversary and I plan on getting my dress from them again.

great selection and now my daughter is looking for her dresses also there...highly suggest them, great service!

99.00 dresses are the best. I loved mine!!!
