We went to our friends' wedding at the Bel Air Bay Club last weekend and Masta and the band performed. They were so awesome I wish we had gotten a band! They played a great range of music - from classics like "At Last" to more contemporary songs by Beyonce. You definitely should check them out :)

Soulville was unbelievable. They were hands down my favorite vendor. If you are going to splurge on one thing for your wedding, I really felt that a great band that makes the wedding really fun is key! They were so amazing and literally people are still talking today about how great they were. TC was our MC, and there were 3 other singers. They sang everything from Frank Sinatra to Usher to Madonna! They could perform music from every generation so well and were so great at evaluating what people were dancing to. People were dancing until 1 in the morning!

Entourage is worth every penny. Hubby and I always knew we wanted a "live" band at our reception and fortunately we are able to see Entourage playing at a friend's wedding prior. They are exceptionally talented!

These guys are worth every penny! We saw TC & Traffic Jamm at a friend's wedding and HAD TO have them for ours. We secured them about a year before our wedding. They learned a couple new songs for us and they really blow the crowd away!!! TC's Frank Sinatra is also to die for. :) I would recommend them for any event where you want the guests to dance all night long!

When my husband and I were first engaged, the first question almost all of our friends asked us was, "Who's doing your music?" We had honestly given absolutely no thought to the music. A short while later, we were at a wedding and heard the most amazing band. They were called High Rize and we were more than blown away. Marco (my then fiance/now husband...) practically attacked the guitar player and begged for a business card. That's what brought us to de Bois Entertainment. We met with them and watched a lot of DVD's of their various bands and, like our friends, we chose High Rize.

I never write reviews but I felt compelled to write something when I saw my friend on this site. High Rize was absolutely unbelievable. They played every style of music almost every person in the band sang. It felt like we had The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Marvin Gaye, Frank Sinatra, The White Stripes, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Christina Aguilara, and just about everyone else in my iPod playing at our wedding. Most importantly, we heard the music that WE wanted to hear.

All I can say to my friend (who's sitting next to me) is that after over 27 years of hearing horrible music from live bands at parties, I have found out where the best musicians and singers have been hiding.
