I never write a review on any business, but I had to this time. Do not buy your bridal gown from De La Rosa's. The alteration charge ended being way more than the initial cost. I had a good experience with them until the day I picked up my dress. I should have known from the start that something will go wrong when my consultant (Pam) quoted me the wrong price on my dress. She was able to offered me a FREE front pick up hem alteration due to her mistake. Liz helped me when I went in for my first fitting. She said I had to pay for the inner liner alteration because that was not included in the FREE pick up hem. So, I paid everything in full including final dress payment, additional alterations, and bustles. The dress was way too long at the final fitting and it required more alterations. The owner and the seamstress helped me and did not mention a word about additional alteration charge on my dress. They were talking in Spanish among them, so I had no clue what they were talking about. I went to pick up my dress today and they wanted me to pay more for the alterations. I was in shocked and wanted to cry. I told them that the owner did not mention a word about additional charge. Liz came out and said " I was here when the owner told you that your dress will need a lot work and it will cost more". She is a liar, she didn't even help me during my final fitting. How would she know what was going on. De La Rosa's Bridal and Tuxedos will try everything they can to get you to buy your dream dress from them, then turn around charge you more than you expected to pay. I thought they were wonderful in the beginning and even referred my coworker to buy her wedding gown here. They totally ruined the whole experience for me. Be aware when you decide to purchase your dream dress from them. I don't want any bride to go through what I experienced with them.

De la rosa was great! Lupe helped me everytime I came in and she was nice and professional. I bought my dress about a year befor the wedding and I gained weight before my wedding (*@#$!). So, I went in for my 1st fitting and the dress didn't fit anymore. Brides worst nighmare, right? Well Lupe and the alterations gal assured me they could fix it. They took it out and it fit! And it looked amazing!

My experience was mixed. Don't expect great service from them if you are not a bride...I had my alterations done there and they were really nice as soon as they found out I was in there for my wedding dress. However when I brought my girls in for bridesmaid fittings/orderings they didn't seem to be in that big of a hurry to help out. Over all it was more a matter of-the place I bought my dress from went out of business and I needed a place to get it altered which is fine. So as long as you a bride they treat you great.

Willing to work with you no matter how long it takes.

I purchased my wedding dress here and I would say I was quite pleased with the outcome of my dress. Everyone there were very professional and nice. Lupe had worked with me. I found out that I was pregnant after I ordered my dress. I called Lupe and asked her if I can change the size of my dress. Unfortunately, my dress was close to being done and I couldn't change the size. Lupe said that she and the tailor will work with me to make sure my dress fit me before my wedding day. I had a total of three fittings done to make sure my dress fit well. I was 7 months pregnant by my wedding. Overall, Lupe and the tailor did a good job in making sure my wedding dress fit well. I was scheduled to pick my wedding dress up three days before my wedding. I live in elk grove, so driving to folsom from elk grove is about an hour for me. There was a mix up with when I was suppose to pick up my wedding dress. I wrote it in my calendar when we made the appointment but they didn't write it down at that time. The day I was suppose to pick up my dress, it wasn't ready. They had it down in their schedule book wrong and it cost me time, money and gas. All in all, I liked this place. Just be sure to watch them write your appointments down in their schedule book before you leave.

I was very pleased with De La Rosa Bridal. All the workers there are very helpful. It took me a while to find the right dress and they worked with me for so long and gave me useful advise. I have been to so many places trying on dresses and so many of them don't give you the advice you are looking for. At De La Rosas they are truthful and help you in every way. I dealt with a girl named Liz and she was amazing. I got my whole wedding attire there including the jewelery and they helped me with everything.

Everyone there was great. Alterations took 4 times to get everything done but they would not stop or charge me anything until it was perfect. In the end the dress was perfect and I alterations were more than reasonable in price and well done. I recommend it to everyone that i know is looking for a wedding dress.

I had a fairly good experience at De La Rosa's. When I went in for the first time, the girl who helped me was AWESOME. She is really the only reason I went there to order my dress. Unfortunately, when I went back for the first fitting, she no longer worked there. The other girls were friendly, but were definitely just doing there job. The one thing that really bothered me was when I went to go and actually pick up my dress, I asked if I could see the bustle. The girl acted as though I was truly inconveniencing her. That was a bummer!

very nice ladies work here. the man manager i did not really like because he was mean to me when I didn't like the way my bustle was done and said it was perfect and almost did not get it redone... that man seems to have no clue. he made me cry. but the ladies are sweeties and i got my dress for a VERY good price there!

I found this store to have a very good selection of dresses overall, and a small selection of informal gowns. They carry a large selection of Maggie Sottero gowns and had the second largest selection of bridesmaid gowns, with Bridal Mart coming in first. Their prices were generally reasonable and I also give them an A for customer service.

I bought a gown here..full price, paid cash. Dress fit me off the rack only needed a bustle. Went after work for bustle fitting and I was left standing alone in my gown for 15 minutes while the other employees messed with another brides gown. Needless to say my bustle was not sewn as it was pinned/measured and I could not walk while the gown was bustled..what a waste of my time and money. The employees have attitudes much different than the ONCE pleasant daughter of owners who sold me my gown. I questioned and brought back my gown that was supposed to be pressed and I was told it was the material and that I was lucky to get a couture looking gown for what I paid...last time I checked $700 was alot. I am easy going but these people are rude and insulting. Bottom line my dress could not be bustled, the top was toooo big (that is what happens to over steemed taffeta) and it was wrinkled and given to me in a pink garbage bag.
My fiancee went to be measured for his tux and advised he was concerned they didnt measure correctly..and he was right. He got the tux and it was too short..like capris. The jacket was too big and the tie was old and dingy. We returned the tux the same day and made other arrangements for his attire.
Do not go here..these people are rude and once you get your money the service disappears!!!

I loved the dress that I picked out. They had a wonderful selection of Maggie Sottero dresses that I could choose from, which is why I went there. It took six months for it to come in, which made me a little anxious, but when it came it fit perfectly. The only alteration they did was to add a bustle, and unfortunately that broke in a fitting. But they were able to fix it before the wedding, and it held up niceley. They were very professional and courteous.

Since buying my dress there, my mom has referred three other brides and they have all found their dresses there. Wonderful selection. They matched the price of a competitor also. They were very good about alterations as well, although I didn't need more than a bustle.

my dress alterings turned out great other than the bustle not being done...I had to use a safety pin!!

I purchased my shoes at De La Rosa Bridal and I would never recommend them to anyone. They did not have my size in stock in the brand I wanted so they sized my foot and told me to go a size bigger in that brand. I assumed they were knowledgeable in how those shoes ran so I took their advice and went a size larger. At the time they ordered them they also had them dyed to match my dress. The shoes came in about 3 weeks before my wedding and they were so big that I couldn’t walk in them. De La Rosa did nothing to accommodate me and would not exchange them for a smaller size because they were already dyed so I had no choice but to order another pair. I had to pay for 2 pairs of shoes.
