I am a bride on a budget, like most, and was hesitant to contact DeAnna's. However, I learned that they have a Carriage House-aka a garage, where sample dresses go after the designer has retired the dress. Once in the carriage house the dresses are drastically reduced in price (300-700 dollars)and it is "cash and carry." They provide you with a list of seamstresses for your alterations. As for professionalism, Danielle with whom I worked, was AMAZING. She treated me with such care and attention even though we were not in the formal room. We had a one on one appointment which was about an hour and she never rushed us. My only negative comment was she insisted I only bring 1-2 people with me b/c of the size of the space. I brought 5 people with me anyway because they were all important to me. It worked out fine but I would have rather they didn't worry so much about how many people I was bringing. Overall I loved my experience and I have a BEAUTIFUL Maggie Sottero gown that I can not wait to wear!!

I had the worst experience with DeAnna’s. My bridesmaids’ dresses came in long when I ordered them in short, one dress came in too small, and my MOH’s dress came in too big. When we told Diane, the owner, she said it must have been that they gained or lost weight, this was not the case, she sized them wrong. I had so many things go wrong with DeAnna’s I would have to sit here for days to tell it all. Basically, the service was horrible, I was unable to get a hold of anyone and once I finally did they were rude and short with me, and it would take days to get a message answered. For the amount of money we spent the service was horrible. Although, they do have beautiful dresses you can find the same brands at other stores with better service and the same prices.

Bought my dress here and loved it. The service was incredible, the prices are super reasonable, and the dresses are gorgeous! Great experience =)

I bought my wedding dress at their sample sale last October, so my experience is very different from the usual. I have heard they have a lovely bridal suite but for the sample sale, it's held in a garage. The garage is set up nicely, but a garage nonetheless. However, I would take that garage any day for the variety of samples and the prices that were at the same sale (my dress was only a Maggie Sottero for $328!). Sample sale or not, the service was still wonderful. You had a one-on-one appointment with a bridal consultant and she would help pull the dresses for you and get you into the dress. I worked with Billy Jo and she was phenomenal in helping me make a decision. Even though I was in a garage, I was able to feel like a princess in the dress that I knew was meant for me! I would absolutely recommend any bride looking at Deanna's for a more individual and unique approach. You feel pampered and they have a very different selection of dresses, which I found refreshing!

I bought my wedding gown from DeAnna's. It was my first place and I found my dress that night. Dianne in the bridal salon is WONDERFUL!! She is the kindest woman and extremely helpful. Above all, she is professional. I could not have asked for a better experience. I cancelled all other appointments and bought my dress from them. It was a flawless, gorgeous Maggie Sottero and I looked beautiful on my wedding day! Alterations were top notch! I also bought my birdcage veil, shoes, wrap, and a bracelet from them. On top of that, my Mother, Mother-In-Law and Bridesmaids bought their dresses from them as well. You will not beat the prices and the quality is amazing. My dress looked like it cost a fortune and it was very reasonable! I was thrilled with the outcome and would recommend them to anyone and everyone! Dianne made me experience so memorable and I thank her for that.

I attempted to make appointments with Diane of DeAnna's several times, trying to plan said appointments within a week of appointments at other bridal shops, so that all the gowns I tried on would be relatively fresh in my mind. DeAnna's was able to offer me an appointment in the near future only ONCE, other wise DeAnna's was always booked 2 to 6 weeks out. I made the appointment for the ONE AND ONLY day that was offered in a reasonable space of time & unfortunately on that day my sister had a medical emergency that resulted in me rescheduling my appointment... for weeks away. Before I had even called Deanna's the 1st time I had already been to 7 other bridal shops & tried on countless gowns. I had my gown narrowed down to 2 dresses- 1 at Something Bleu Bridal Salon, another at Lily, (both in Saratoga), but there was a particular gown that DeAnna's carried that I had seen on line at a designers web site & wanted to try on before I made my final decision. En route to the hospital I called Diane & explained my situation, apologized, & told her that I'd be unable to keep my appointment that day. When I asked if Diane if she still had a time slot available for another day that she had informed me of previously, albeit 3 weeks away, she told me that it WAS still available. Anxious to try the dress on so that I could proceed with making my final decision, I booked the appointment for the time slot 3 weeks out, (for the retelling of what happened I'd like to clarify that the phone call I placed to Diane canceling my appointment was THE SAME PHONE CALL on which I RESCHEDULED). By this time I had spoken to Diane on no less than 3 separate phone calls & she had referenced this, most recent, appointment several times. Looking forward to trying on the dress for weeks I had the date & time of the second appointment committed to memory. I called the morning of the appointment to confirm, knowing it was for 2:00 that afternoon. A young woman who I had never talked to before answered the phone & told me she'd have to call me back in 25 minutes stating the appointment book was "upstairs" with Diane who was currently with another client & due to the fact that they were short-staffed there was no way for her to help me at that time; she took my phone number & again stated she'd call back in 25 minutes. Forty five minutes later I had not received a return call. I called again, the same young woman answered, made no apology for not returning my call & abruptly put me on hold. A minute or two later Diane picked up the phone. Diane claimed on the day of the emergency when we last spoke "we let you cancel your appointment on that day but you never rescheduled." I felt like I'd just been sucker-punched in the stomach. I said 'I absolutely most certainly did, you told me on various occasions about the availability of that appointment & I remember very vividly the reluctant feeling I had when I told you to please schedule me for THAT VERY APPOINTMENT, despite the fact that I really did not want to wait that long. I KNOW I DID!' Diane responded by saying "Well, I can see if we can squeeze you in today, but we were doing you a favor by scheduling you the FIRST TIME... the day you had your 'emergency...'" she was speaking in a very snide and patronizing tone & at this point I decided that I didn't care if DeAnna's was going to supply me with my dream gown for free, I ABSOLUTELY WAS NOT GOING TO DO BUSINESS WITH SOMEONE THAT TREATED ME SO TERRIBLY! I retorted by saying "well thank you for the favor but..." at which point Diane cut me off & in an even more sarcastic, snide, C-U-Next-Tuseday-like tone said, "I hope you have a WONDERFUL wedding and..." at which point I said 'Really, REAALLY, wow, F-U,' and hung up.
I would advise any and every one to avoid DeAnna's at all costs. There are many wonderful places in the Capital District to shop for your wedding gown... places that will go out of their way to make you feel like you are an appreciated, valuable, beautiful bride-to-be, and some of which may even make you feel like you are their ONLY priority. Don't waste your time with DeAnna's- I was never made to feel like anything more than one in a long list of numbers, a nuisance really... like I should feel privileged or special to even get an appointment there. Worse yet, the experience that should have been a joyous, special process of choosing my gown, was turned into a disrespectful debacle by Diane. Please, please do yourself a favor & save yourself the heart ache & anxiety of making an appointment at DeAnna's & go elsewhere. They don't have any dress labels that other bridal shops don't offer... the only thing unique about DeAnna's is that they made me feel like crap.

For my daughter's wedding, we shopped around for gowns for weeks. As soon as we met Dianne, we knew we had found the right place! She was SO professional, calm and helpful. We really appreciated her advice... she had great suggestions that we would never even have considered. Every time we went back, we had her total attention and she never made up feel rushed. We also purchased all the bridesmaid dresses and the mother of the bride dress. They were great quality and the alterations were perfect. Everything, including veil and accessories, was first class, and very reasonably priced. Deanna's has my highest recommendation!

I have to give DeAnna's a bad review. I purchased a mother of the bride gown from there and when I got home I was very unhappy with it. I called immediately and let them know. I didn't even want my money back, I told them I would take store credit. For that much money you would think they would have the decency to at least give me store credit and work with me. I even told them I would pay a restocking fee. I told them I would spend even more in the country store in the future. Well by them not being willing to do business with a good customer, they have lost my business and I hope others think twice about going there and spending any time looking for a gown or gifts.

DeAnns's has the most beautiful dresses in the area! It took me months of dress shopping and appointments at 5 different stores until I found a dress that was perfect. DeAnna's had three of the five final choice dresses.
Also the atmosphere and interior of Deanna’s makes you feel at home. The Boutique is by appointment only and only one girl at a time. The owner works with you to find what works best with your body type and she has great taste in the dresses she carries. Not only did I get my wedding dress, veil and shoes there but both my mom and mother in law bought their dresses there too!

This is the niceset dress shop I found between Albany and Buffalo. I explored at least 15 shops for my gown. This bridal shop is by appointment only and the personal service is exemplery. Make an appointment here and you are one-on-one with a bridal attire professional and you have the shop all to yourself and your family/friend. They offer designer gowns and all the accessories you can think of; veils, jewelry, shoes, spanks, bridal party attire, gifts. They offer unprecedented selection. Calm, clean, professional atmosphere for a fair price. Relax and choose your perfect gown and let them take care of all your wedding needs. Amazing.
DeAnna's is FABULOUS! A little out of the way but definitely worth the trip. We searched every store possible for mother of the bride dress and all we could find were old lady- big shoulder- bedazzled- floor length tragedies... that is until we came to DeAnna's. DeAnna's decked my lovely Mom out in a gorgeous purple dress from the Jade line of Jasmine dresses which was altered to fall just below the knee and had a nice little sheer bolero jacket (to be modest at Church or in case she got cold- I'm not sure why but I know she wanted it). If I could give them ANOTHER 5 stars I would because I also got my shoes here. I'm very prone to twisting my ankles and therefore don't wear heels but I wanted something nice for my wedding (obviously). I found the greatest pair of 1-1 1/2 inch heels at DeAnna's. Wore them all nice with absolutely no problems. I think I can say that for 3 pairs of shoes I've had in my life- tops!
Word to the wise though- after my wedding some family friend's got married and apparently DeAnna's is getting pretty popular so make an appointment ASAP!
