Deans' Duets did a great job with our ceremony music and coctail hour. We had lots of compliments on their music.
April was FANTASTIC! She was very flexible and worked with our unique needs. We wanted some "strange" music (phish and pink Floyd to name a few) for our ceremony and April was not daunted by this request. She downloaded the music, learned it, and played it beautifully! We went to her house on two occasions to get a preview of what the music would sound like, and she was very helpful in helping us make our final song decisions. Our actual wedding was in Lake Lure, NC and she traveled without any complaint or problems. She was affordable and was ABSOLUTELY worth every cent we spent!

I heard April and Megan play at a wedding about a year ago. They are professional and qualified. You can tell they are sisters by how they play together. It's obvious they have been doing this for a long time.
About Deans' Duets violin music
April and Megan Dean have played the violin since the age of three. Since beginning to play for weddings in 2000, they have played in over 100 weddings in North Carolina and surrounding states. They also provide music for special
events, including holiday parties, anniversaries, and receptions. Their experience playing as a duo makes them uniquely capable to plan your ceremony according to your personal style and taste.
April and Megan have both been members of the Western Piedmont Symphony as well as the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra. Both teach violin as well.
Our most frequented cities include Hickory, Gastonia, Belmont, Lincolnton, Charlotte, Lenoir, Blowing Rock, and Boone.

FAQ for Deans' Duets violin music
Please contact us to schedule a free consultation, during which you can meet us, hear us play, and we can discuss music for your ceremony. After this, we ask you to simply mail a deposit to reserve your wedding date.
Is there an extra charge for you to play the piano in the ceremony?
Our price includes any combination of piano solo, violin solo, or violin duets.
What areas do you serve?
The majority of our weddings are in Charlotte, Hickory, Lenoir, Boone, and Winston-Salem. However, we have played weddings all over the southeastern United States, so please contact us to discuss your location.
What does the price include?
One price includes a planning session to hear us play and to choose your music. It also include a one-hour rehearsal and all music for the ceremony.
