Emily can make anyone look lovely but my bridal party really loved her because she listened to what their preferences were and still make them feel like themselves. My mother and sisters have never looked better! Emily can create a wide range of looks and provides insight for brides in the consultation and the day of if things change. She really is a true talent and the day of she is absolutely calm which is so pleasant to be around. Finally, I loved my make-up and so many guests commented on how nice it looked. Well done Emily!

Emily did a fantastic job on my wedding day! Everyone looked beautiful, and she was wonderful with my mom - who was a bit hesitant to have her makeup professionally done. I couldn't have been happier with how we all looked.

Emily was amazing!! She airbrushed my foundation and completed regular foundation on my 3 bridesmaids. Everyone looked wonderful. The only difference I could see between airbrush and regular foundation was my make-up looked flawless all day. The girls got shiny after a while. Totally do the air brush if you have a long day. I loved that Emily offered a free make-up trial, which sold me immediately when I saw how great I looked. I looked even better on my wedding day!! Thank you Emily!!!

I had a very large wedding party and Emily made them all look amazing! We all enjoyed getting pampered for the day and we were ready with plenty of time to relax in between. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to look flawless for an event!

Emily was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I was an out of town bride (live in Los Angeles, got married in St. Louis) which definitely has its obstacles. Emily was there every step of the way - quick to answer any questions I had, flexible on meeting times, and totally rocked the make up for not only myself but for 4 bridesmaids and two moms on the day of the wedding.

dearest future brides, if you have found yourself here because of emily's fab rating, know that you are not being fooled or think its impossible for someone to have such a good rating.. emily deserved every 5 stars she got. My ceremony started at 10 in the morning and Emily had 9 people to complete.... she arrived at 5:15 am with wedding bells on and started to tackle the 4 hours we gave her. She was fun.... easy to talk to... and has some mad skills! Who could beat a free trail?!?!?! i believe she is the only makeup artist in Saint Louis that is able to offer this amazing deal and make you look nothing but the best on your wedding day. Try Emily... you would be a fool not to!

Emily is wonderful to work with. My girls and my makeup looked amazing and it stayed on for hours. She listened me when I explained the look I was trying to achieve and executed it wonderfully. We received so many compliments on how we looked!! During the scheduling and trial phase she was very flexible and always accommodating. I think she's very talented and professional and can't wait to work with her again!!

I have always done my own make-up, my friends make-up, etc. I'd gone back and forth on whether or not to hire someone and knew that on the day of I'd want to be as stress-free as possible. I am so glad I went with Emily. Less than a month before the wedding I emailed many, many make-up artists. Some were no responses, others weren't available, others were available, my gut told me to go with Emily because she said she'd do everything she could to fit me in even with having another wedding the same day!

Emails back and forth with her calmed me completely - getting married in downtown St. Louis during the VP fair parade, during a heat advisory is not recommended. Street closures and sweat everywhere make me nervous as it is but on the day of the wedding my stomach was in knots. Emily arrive if not right on time a few minutes after because well - the traffic, floats, parade, ETC! BUT even though we weren't right on time she finished EARLY! And everyone looked amazing.

My one request, I LOVE my eyes. I typically only do eye make-up so they needed to pop - and they totally did! I was so happy and got so many compliments.

What's even better - my make-up lasted through the night. We were all around town taking pictures in the heat and none of it melted off with the heat. Emily is fantastic, a pleasure to work with, calm, and so down to earth you will not be disappointed, I promise.

Amazing no touch ups needed !!! As the Bride I wanted to feel more beutiful than ever. I have never looked as good as I did!!! Emily was so amazing I had no idea my eyes could pop like that and that a had great cheek bones !! Plus Emily had the task of the brides maids and my mother or I like to call her momzilla. She did great and not only did I feel amazing so did all my girls!! Our day started at 5:30am and ended at 12am and no one needed touch ups!! Pictures came out amazing !! Emily was wonderful. At the trial she didn't quite get what I wanted and let me have a second trial which turned out great. She really listened to what I wanted. On the wedding day, my makeup was perfect. I did not have to touch up or worry about my makeup at all because it stayed flawless all day and night! I was recently married on May 6, 2011 and had many reservations when it came to someone else doing my makeup. I am extremely particular with my makeup, especially my eye makeup and after having more than one AWFUL makeup trial I had all but given up on finding a makeup artist that I truly felt comfortable with. I had pretty much come to terms with the fact that I would be doing my own makeup for my big day until a friend of mine suggested Emily Miller from Delicately Bold. Although I was interested in the fact that Emily also provided the option of airbrush makeup, I was still very skeptical. I felt more reassured after speaking with Emily over the phone, she was knowledgeable, friendly, and offered to do a FREE airbrush trial which I virtually unheard of and quite a nice incentive to give it a shot after multiple failed trials costing more than $75 each. So, I made the long drive from my place in Chicago back down to St. Louis with low to little expectations, as I had made this out of state drive before and been disappointed….this was the last shot!
I immediately loved Emily’s personality and we seemed to mesh very well. I knew she would be great to have on the wedding day but as I sat there getting my eyes done, my doubt still lingered. Finally it was time to take a look and as I turned to check myself out I was more than pleasantly surprised…I was wowed! I hired Emily on the spot. My airbrush foundation not only lasted throughout that day but also the next. I can say without reservations that out of every makeup artist I tried in St. Louis, Emily Miller did the best job by leaps and bounds.
When the wedding day came Emily was on time, ran ahead of schedule, and was professional through and through. The wedding day makeup was absolutely FLAWLESS. Everyone raved at how beautiful the wedding party makeup was. My photographer was so impressed with how my makeup photographed that she is now personally recommending Emily to other clients. I absolutely loved my makeup and Emily made it so easy and stress-free. Not only is Emily professional and friendly, but she is without a doubt a fantastic makeup artist and one of the most reasonably priced makeup artists I found in St. Louis. This was money more than well-spent!! For such an important day, you want to look your best and I honestly cannot praise her enough. I would absolutely recommend Delicately Bold to any bride, even the most skeptical, that wants flawless makeup at a great price with a reliable service.

Emily was hands down the best makeup artist I could have had for my wedding day. Let me say that I am a VERY picky girl, especially about my appearance, and especially for my wedding day. I had my trial run in December and when she had me go look when she was finished applying my makeup I did not have a single critique. She nailed exactly what I asked for and made my eyes pop in a way I had never seen before. She was a true professional who made me feel she really cared and wanted me to be happy with my look. You can tell she is passionate about what she does and wants her clients to feel amazing. Two of my bridesmaids also had her do their makeup and they could not have been happier. Not a single complaint! If you want to have a makeup artist who not only does beautiful work but is also so easy to get along with and work with, you need to call Delicately Bold asap! I would recommend Emily to anyone without a doubt. Reasonable prices and beautiful work! What more could a girl ask for?!

I had a huge wedding party and she offered to bring a colleague along who would charge at her (extremely reasonable) rate, they finished 9 people's makeup in the blink of an eye, her calmness helped me stay calm, she actually listened to what I wanted and even made suggestions that would benefit me at her expense, and she was just really really nice. The makeup looked beautiful on all my bridesmaids and made them feel like princesses too!!

Not only does she know how to make you look radiantly beautiful without making you feel like you have clown makeup on, she is really sweet and fun to talk to while she's dolling you up! Emily was amazing. She was very professional and nice. I have difficult eyes to work with and most make-up artists make me look like I am made up for Halloween. She was able to do the perfect smokey eye for our evening wedding. I had a previous trial with a highly recommended make-up artist in St. Louis but was not completely satisfied. Great job! Responds to emails very quickly. Very attentive to what color looks best with the individual. My mom and I got our make up done for my wedding. I never knew my face could look that good. And some people didn't even recognize my mom she looked so great! Also and awesome job at covering the large tattoo on my back. The best thing about the make was that it STAYED on. Very professional and affordable. Would DEFINITELY recommend.

Emily of Delicately Bold was fantastic to work with! She spent a lot of time with me during my COMPLIMENTARY trial session and listened and took note of all my concerns. She was so laid-back too, which was great, as I wasn't the most organized bride (planned the wedding in less than 3 months, had to coordinate a lot of out-of-town family/women). We ran late on the day of the wedding and she took the schedule change in stride and just went to work! Everyone was done in time. Even better, she came to us at our hotel in the CWE and just picked a spot close to the natural light and set up quickly. My makeup looked just beautiful (I truly looked like a BETTER version of myself on my wedding day, which is exactly how I wanted to look). My mother, mother-in-law, sisters, and sister-in-law also looked gorgeous. About half of the group doesn't wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis and their makeup was so elegant and understated. Everyone's eye makeup just POPPED!!! I have been in weddings before where the makeup application was very heavy, almost theatrical. Emily truly made everyone look just beautiful! The airbrush makeup looked flawless in the pictures I have started to see from that day, and my eye makeup not only looked gorgeous, but stood up to my constant tearing (ok, I was crying) during the ceremony! Thank you, Emily, for being so easy to work with and doing a beautiful job. I know I am going to just love my pictures from that very special day.

Emily was a complete joy to work with. I had 4 bridesmaids, 1 bride and 3 mothers she needed to get airbrushed and out the door and although we were running a little behind, everything worked out perfectly and everyone looked completely gorgeous! Emily is SO detailed she could just keep tweaking all day! Haha! But I really appreciated all the time and effort she spent on every person (especially me!) and everyone was thrilled with the outcome and wouldn’t have changed a thing. Our makeup stayed on all day, even through the STL heat, and I never once worried about looking in the mirror to touch up. She is also completely sweet and a wonderful calming person to work with on your big day!

My makeup was amazing for the entire day! It last through sweat/heat/humidity/tears, and just the length of the day which was over 12 hours.
