Delicious Cakes

I've purchased cakes several times from Delicious Cakes, but this was a first in picking out a wedding cake. We didn't even look anywhere else! They do beautiful artistic work and their cakes are moist and tasty. So many people know about their cakes and rave about them. They have lots of great flavors to choose from and will work with you on the design. We got lots of great compliments on our cake...order extra so you can take some home. And, my friend ordered her wedding cake from them and they gave her a coupon for a free cake on their first anniversary! How thoughtful!

Wedding cake was wonderful! Tasted great and looked beautiful. First meeting was great, they helped guide us to choosing the perfect wedding cake. We wanted a cake with the tiers slanted instead of straight across...once seeing the wedding cake the tiers were barely slanted...a little disappointed in that but otherwise all was great!

We got both the bride and groom cake here. They were both wonderful. I got the Princess cake flavor for the bride cake. I only had a small piece at the wedding but it was yummy. I had several guest say it was some of the best wedding cake they have had. For the groom's cake we had a golf theme cake. The groom drew out exactly what he wanted for the cake, and he got it. They did such a good job working with his design. The cake also had great flavoring! A perk that they give you is that they will bake you a fresh top tier of you wedding cake for your 1 year anniversary. You just have to call and let them know you want it. Great place for a bride to get their wedding cake.

I have to thank Delicious Cakes for making me a remarkable very tasty cake in the couple of days they had to do so in, I wasn't able to get the size of cake I really thought I would have at my wedding (tall as I am), but the cake was a nice size with beautiful detail; I'm so grateful for this cake company to go ahead and squeeze my order in and process it quickly that way I would have a cake for my wedding. If you want a moist delicious cake please give Delicious Cakes in Addison a chance.

We contracted early and then made changes to the design about six weeks before the wedding. The cake was FANTASTIC in the execution of my design and more delicious than I expected--the vendor accommodated my wish to add a special filling that I provided.

Love Love Love Love Love!!!!! My wedding cake and my grooms fireman cake were absolutely amazing. Sunday is sweet, patient and completely takes your mental ideas and puts them into action. The value is also the best I found. I would use them again for any special event!

The cake was done beautifully for our wedding. Just one problem - we ordered the monogram on both sides of the cake so it can be seen from the dance floor as well as the guests at their table. Otherwise, the colors were beautiful and so were the flowers. I was glad we didn't go for fresh because I saved the roses in my kitchen. Staff is very friendly. Butch and Sunday are managers and gladly help and return calls timely. Other than the one issue, all turned out well.

I had a simple cake design with fake tiers to be decorated with fruit for a rustic look, so I can't comment much on the design of Delicious Cakes. HOWEVER, the cakes tasted amazing! I absolutely loved the raspberry liqueur cake with yellow cake with almond flavoring. Yummy! The grooms cake was a decadent chocolate and the wedding couple only got to eat a small slice because it was completely devoured by the guests! My husband loved the grooms cake more than the bridal cake! We will get a new tier baked for us on our one year anniversary and I have a feeling that my husband will go back for the chocolate cake! Delicious!

This review is a little tough. We got wedding cupcakes and a cookie grooms cake from Butch. The wedding cupcakes turned out excellent, tasty and beautiful. He even purchased a tiered cupcake stand to rent to us for our event. However, there was an issue with the grooms cake, as far as the design was concerned. The cookie cake itself was yummy, but we submitted a design to be printed on the cookie cake. Somehow, that design was not used and they free-handed a design which was the incorrect logo. We worked with them after the wedding to provide compensation for the error. Also, we have come to learn that this was not first time it has happened. Overall, we can say that the brides cakes were good both times we know of, and the groom's cake was incorrectly designed both times we know of.

The Cakes are always very good from this vendor. I was a little surprised by how the process went with this vendor as we purchased our Wedding Cake and Groom's cake. My wife went by before me and then we went together. Different prices were quoted when we went together and they were higher. I would suggest checking on their pricing several times before committing to your purchase. I would use this vendor for a large event in the future.

The only good thing about this cake was that the design actually looked better than I expected. But that doesn't make up for the fact that our cake was 4 hours late and didn't arrive at the venue until 7:30...an hour into our reception. Thank goodness for the groom's candy table that we spent a ton of time and money on, it kept the guests occupied! Every time I called Delicious cakes they were spacey and unorganized. I was completely fooled when we did the tasting and really got a different vibe from them. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. When the cake was late their excuse was, "we got stuck in traffic." One last thing...I am a recent graduate from culinary school and one of my baking instructors worked for them for a few years and they use box cake mix...found this out after deposit was paid...$800 for a box cake mix.

Delicious cakes really made me and my husband feel special. The tasting was great and Butch really listened to what we wanted. As I was telling him what I had in mind, he was drawing it on a piece of paper and it was EXACTLY what I had envisioned. They are very professional over there and know what they are doing. Our grooms cake was an XBOX 360 and they did an AMAZING Job! Everyone loved the cakes including us!

My sister just got married on saturday and the wedding was amazing but there was no cake. She had ordered a five tier cake with lace buttercream that matched her dress and it sounded beautiful. She also ordered a surprise cake for the groom that looked like a tackle box. Our first problem came the thursday before the wedding when they called my sister asking what flavors she had ordered and what the cakes were supposed to look like. On the day of the wedding the bakery called the wedding planner at 10 am and said they would be arriving around 6:30 pm. After the ceremony we all went to the reception area and surprise, the cake had not been delivered. The wedding planners and all the family jumped on their phones to call the bakery. No one answered but it gave a number to call if your having problems with delivery. We all called a good fifty times and there was no answer. Needless to say my sister was very disappointed when there was no cake for her and her new husband to cut. All the guest were bewildered that a bakery would be this unprofessional. If you chose to use this bakery, good luck. I would not recommend it to anyone and I would hate to see this happen to anyone else on their special day.

Butch was very friendly in helping us pick our bride and grooms cake. The only thing I would have liked is showing us more options. It was alot to look at for a first time shopper in a cake store. Other than that the cake was delicious.

Sunday helped us to design our cake. We wanted the pattern on the cake to reflect the pattern on our wedding invitation, and the end result was exactly as we imagined. We got the cake in two flavors - Cassata and Texas Turtle. Both were really good, but we got more positive reviews from our wedding guests about the Cassata flavor.

Our wedding cake looked amazing, i loved it, they did exactly what i wanted, the price was amazing.Mr Butch was so sweet and made it so easy to pick a cake, he was ON TIME, AND MADE EVERYTHING PERFECT. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

Delicious Cakes contacted me for a cake tasting, and it was a great experience. The designer helped us create a bride and grooms cake that we we both satisfied with, for what felt like a very fair price. My only disappointment with them came when I walked in to my reception to view the cake. The left side was damaged from the cake topper falling off. The cake topper was forcibly set back on top of the cake, but without being cleaned off, and the brides arm had broken off when the topper fell. I was severely disappointed. No note was left, and I didn't receive any call or apology from Delicious cakes. This unprofessional behavior would cause me not to recommend them to other brides.

FABULOUS! Our cakes were beautiful and very delicious!! They always followed up with me and created exactly what I'd asked for. Couldn't ask for a better experience with a bakery! True customer service!!!

I had my wedding earlier this year and Delicious Cakes did both my bride and groom's cake. From beginning to end this place was amazing. We had a great time at our tasting. It was the only place we went to that didn't look down on us because we didn't have a huge budget. In fact, the owner was so amazing that when the cake we wanted was way over budget, he went ahead and did both cakes for what we had originally budgeted for one. When the wedding day came around I was not disappointed at all. It looked beyond amazing and far exceeding my expectations. All of my guests were in love with the cake and were asking where it came from. I will never go to another bakery. I love this place. They made my whole experience the way it should be and I appreciate it more than I can ever say.

Amazing cake: inside and out!! It was so beautiful. I had brought in a picture to be replicated and Delicious Cakes matched it perfectly. And I can't even count how many time people commented on how delicious the cake was....Delicious Cakes really lived up to their name!

My cake was provided from Delicious and paid for by my reception venue, so I don't know the cost. But they did an amazing job with the cake..showed the baker a picture and he designed exactly that and it was GORGEOUS! Many compliments about the wonderful flavors from all the guests! :)

Not sure on the above criteria (the wife did the legwork there), but the cake was delicious and a vision to behold.

The cakes were absolutely delicious, and they looked gorgeous! I was a little stressed/worried when they called 3 days prior to my wedding asking what my cakes were suppose to look like given I provided descriptions/pictures both when I ordered and my required 30 days prior to the wedding. All in all-the cake designed turned out as expected. Great taste and seems reasonably priced too!

Delicious Cakes is exactly that, DELICIOUS. They did an amazing job on recreated a picture I brought it. It couldn't have looked more perfect. They are super cool to work with and totally down to earth. Would DEF use them again.

I would definitely not recommend Delicious Cakes to anyone! The employees are extremely unprofessional, unhelpful, and just plain rude. Delicious Cakes is also not accredited with the Better Business Bureau which should be a red flag as well.

Upon our initial meeting we felt rushed to choose a design but were satisfied with our selections after our approximately hour long meeting. We checked in periodically with Delicious Cakes and Butch to ensure we still liked our agreed upon design. Three weeks to one month before our wedding date, I provided Butch with $50 in faux pearls, 200 inches in length, I also provided double faced satin ribbon for the brides cake per our agreed upon design. Yes, everything has been going smoothly for the most part at this time.

Fast forward to our wedding day; when my new husband and I walked up to our cake and the brides design is nothing like the previously agreed upon look. The beautiful faux pearls have been replaced by Mardi-Gras looking dress-up beads, giving the whole cake a very cheap look. We cut the cakes and cake was served, the next day we learned that not only did my groom and I not receive cake but many of the wedding guests didn't either. Many of our family members and the wedding party did not eat cake. We did think this was strange but didn't pay very much attention to it, until two months after the wedding, I find out from my mom and sister that the brides cake had been in a traffic wreck on its way to the reception site!!!! Neither Butch nor any one else from Delicious Cakes contacted us after the wedding to notify us of the cake being destroyed. I do agree with the company’s decision to keep the cake disaster from the bride on her wedding day and even on the honeymoon, but Butch had three ways to contact me, email, cell phone, and home phone, there was no message.

After finding out about the cake having been in a wreck, I immediately went to Delicious Cakes to question them about their reasons for not contacting me, they had many excuses, one of them being, "we told the wedding planner to tell you." That is not acceptable for a company representative to say - these are grown-ups! It is not the wedding planners responsibility to tell me about their mess up. Anyway, I questioned Butch about the pearls and why so much cake was missing. We paid for 208 pieces of cake (white and groom cake both), less than 140 people came to our wedding, we should have had plenty of cake, maybe even some left-overs! When this point was brought to Butch's attention, he argued that a venue that hosts 125 - 150 weddings per year did not cut the cake according to Wilton's cake serving chart. I have a extremely difficult time believing this.

To quell our complaints we were offered a $40 refund for the pearls and a certificate for a free cake for a second event, Butch assured me these items were coming in the mail. As of today, almost ten months after our wedding, we have yet to receive our check or certificate. This gesture does not redeem Delicious Cakes in the least, it further displays their lack of responsibility and customer service.

Two months after our wedding, I contacted the Better Business Bureau to report Delicious Cakes, since DC is not registered with the BBB, they were unable to help me. I will attach my BBB complaint at the end of this review as a url.

I feel that adequate time has been given to Delicious Cakes to remedy this situation, we expressed we would like to be reimbursed for the “missing” pieces of cake as well as the unused pearls - no effort has been made by the company to do this. I feel other brides and party planners should be aware of the lack of integrity this company has.

It's really good cake and the staff was helpful and flexible. They are a little proud of their stuff, I mean it is a little expensive. The cake was beautiful though and people commented about how good it tasted.

Sooo delicious! Seriously, everyone at the wedding reception loved the taste of the cake. More than that, they were also gorgeous! Totally satisfied with the overall package.

Although not as friendly and professional as other vendors, the taste, value, and appearance of the cake was unparalleled. The groom's cake really was delicious, and incorporated our alma mater beautifully!

The cakes were absolutely delicious, and they looked gorgeous! A few issues---my wedding cake was supposed to have pearls along the trim, and they were left off for some reason. No explanation of why, just no pearls. Also, the groom's cake was a Dallas Cowboys football field. We were appalled when the center blue star was left off of the cake. Anyone who lives in Dallas knows that is a trademark of their field, so for it to be left off of our cake was quite upsetting. It certainly didn't' do good things for the bakery's credibility. Any Cowboys fan would be insulted as well.

Great tasting cake. You must try the Orange flavor!!! It's perfection and I don't even like cake!!!! They gave me exactly what I asked for at the reasonable price!

I was very pleased with our wedding cake. It was gorgeous and unique and tasted wonderful. Though the grooms cake tasted great, we were unhappy with the design and it wasn't exactly what we expected. I would have sat down and detailed the grooms cake more. Overall we were pretty satisfied and happy to have worked with this vendor.

We got both our bride and grooms cake from Delicious Cakes and I was extremely pleased. The cakes turned out beautiful and tasted even better than they looked. I am now a true Delicious Cakes cusstomer for life!

I couldnt' say enough good things about this vendor. I ordered the almond cake and everyone absolutely loved it! The price was fantastic. I was able to feed 80 people for under $100.

Our cakes were great!! Everyone loved them and they were so good. We had a blue 4 tier wedding cake and a robot groom's cake. They were really flexible in using a design I wanted for the wedding cake and they designed the robot, which was Awesome! We are so happy we used them!

The wedding cake turned out beautiful! It was complimented that it looked like it came out of a magazine! It tasted great too. The groom's cake wasnt quite what we expected but we were reimbursed for it and Butch was beyond apologetic and definitely made up for it. Aside from how it looked- It was gone in no time- we didnt even get a piece! But Delicious cakes gave us an extra cake so we could enjoy it ourselves at home!

Our wedding cake was amazing. We had a six-tier princess cake with strawberry filling and cream cheese frosting. It was so beautiful and delicious. So many of our guests commented on how good it was. We had cake to take home, and I couldn't stop my husband from eating it. I think we may both be a little addicted. We can't wait for the anniversary tier.

They did a wonderful job on both cakes. Very friendly and helpful. Very reasonable cost!

I was very pleased with Delicious Cakes. My husband and I had an idea of what we wanted going in. I had imagined a 4 or 5-tier all white cake and my husband wanted a groomscake with the logo from his university on it. Although we thought we knew what we wanted, I started having second thoughts once we got there and saw all their model cakes, and once we flipped through all the photos. They had such a great selection, and Sunday & Butch were great about sitting down with my husband and I to discuss what we wanted and what would look good. They didn't rush us at all, and by the time were finished, we had a clear picture of what the cakes would look like. We of course got to taste them as well, and the cakes both were delicious. I later changed my mind on the size of the cake and changed from 6 tiers to 5. Butch easily accommodated this and took photos of what the cake would look like each way and emailed them to me so I could have a better idea. I appreciated the extra steps he took to make sure I knew what I would be getting. On the wedding day, the cakes were more beautiful than either of us had ever imagined and they tasted AMAZING. ]Highly recommended!!!

I was really late in getting my wedding cake and wasn't sure who to go to. I read a bunch of reviews on just about EVERY wedding cake place in Dallas and realized they weren't any help because everyone has bad reviews. It doesn't seem like the happy brides ever put anything up, so I decided to. After tasting at least 5 other places, I went to Delicious Cakes. I got the immense pleasure of getting to meet with both Sunday and Butch. They were both really nice and knew what they were talking about. Every time I contacted the store Sunday made sure she either called me back or emailed me within a few days. She really put my mind at ease.

On the day of my wedding, I was IN LOVE with my cake. We got the raspberry liquor cake and my guests adored it. It was so beautifully decorated. It was a hit! For the groom's cake we went with the Cassata. I had guests begging me to tell them where I got my cake because they loved it so much. We had a special order for the groom's cake and Delicious Cakes outbid all the other places by hundreds of dollars.

After my reception I found out that 4 of my co-workers got their cakes from their also and they had only amazing things to say. I am guessing that the people that are complaining most likely are pretty hard to please in most things in life and probably didn't make it clear what they wanted. Just a guess though.

Anyway, I will be going to them for all my cakes from now on and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Delicious Cakes did a wonderful job, our cakes were perfect and they went above and beyond what we could even imagine. Neither one of us typically ever eats cake at weddings but ours was so delicious we couldn't resist!

Our bride's and goom's cakes were both absolutely breath-taking... both to the eyes and mouth! They turned out better than we ever would've expected. During our consultation/cake-tasting, our consultant really worked with us so that we could get what we wanted within our budget. They made it very clear that they were there to make sure that we were more than happy with what we were getting.Our wedding cake was seriously the best wedding cake I had ever had. They were so moist and fresh. Their designs also turned out so much better than we could have ever imagined! Neither my husband or I are artists by any means; we're both in accounting if you get my drift. We went into the consultation really not knowing what we wanted, but the consultant really worked with us to come up with the cakes' designs. The designs turned out so AWESOME. We got so many compliments on the taste and designs of our cakes. I'm definitely going to use them for special cakes in the future! They were EXCELLENT!!

Delicious Cakes was phenomenal! We went in with a few ideas for what we wanted and a very small budget, we sat down with Butch talked a bit and showed him some of our pictures of the invites and save the dates. He took those and ran with them and created the most beautiful cake I have ever seen! Not to mention that it tasted like heaven! Our cake was black and red with scroll work from our save the dates and a lotus from our invitations. The cake was mexican chocolate with raspberry filling and raspberry liquor with lemon mouse. Needless to say there is none left, not even for us to take home! Any time I called everyone was so easy to work with and there were no hiccups at any point! Delicious cakes was amazing and I would tell anyone to use them!

I worked with Sunday to plan my wedding cake and groom's cake, and let me tell you--that girl is amazing! Sunday truly went above and beyond to assist me in designing two amazing cakes with a very pleasing price. My cake was absolutely stunning, I did not want to slice into it at all!! My husband's groom's cake was more perfect than I could have imagined, and it was not necessarily an easy task--two Domino's pizza boxes, complete with artwork, etc.! The flavors of the cakes were also incredible; my cake was lemon cake with lemon filling as well as princess (vanilla) cake and raspberry filling, while TJ's was pink champagne (his choice!) and the cakes were absolutely delicious! We had more than enough cake for everyone and Sunday and her team were so flexible with any changes we needed to make. I would highly, highly recommend this bakery to every bride!

Football helmet grooms cake came out no where close to pictures I emailed them, and discuss with them. no phone call for a heads up just sent it, was probably the most unhappy with this. It did not look like a helmet!

I did not know what kind of cake I wanted until I walked in and saw it. Then, I just had to pick the flavors for mine (strawberry) and my husband's (Mexican chocolate). That was the easy part. Then, the person helping me left the company and, despite leaving messages, it took several weeks for someone to call me back and tell me that. The company made a big deal out of choosing the right color for the bow on the cake (I had to pick from paint samples). On the wedding day, the color was not right (I had picked it to match my charger plates) and the cake leaned to the left (not good for a 5 tier cake). While it tasted great and I could ignore the color, I had several people warn me to do the cake cutting soon b/c the cake was going to fall over. How ridiculous is that?

Delicious is right. We paid extra for special flavoring and decoration, and we keep getting compliments. The black fondant soaked through the mist green ribbon, and the font for the monogram was different from what we ordered, but the guests didn't know anything was off. The people at the bakery were great, and the cake was set up and ready two hours before the wedding.

My cake was leaning slightly and i could see where they glued the ribbon but otherwise the grooms cake was amazing and they both tasted great

I booked my wedding at the Omni Park West (635 and I35 area). Part of the package is a cake by Delicious Cakes. I had a 7 tiered cake modeled after the one they have in their window and it was AMAZING. I had so many people say it was one of the best wedding cakes they have ever had. I am not a picky person but Delicious Cakes strives to make everything right. My cake icing design needed a color sample so I brought it in but it was pretty small and I knew that there was a much larger sample with a barely slightly off color on a different page that I was willing to have. They were willing to work with a .5x.5 inch piece of paper to try to get it right "because that is how they do things". I was amazed. I wouldn't have... I would have used the larger piece just to make things easier on myself. They strive to be the best. On my wedding day, they were.

My cake and my husband's cake lasted maybe 10 minutes after we cut it. It was incredible. I am thankful I have pictures of it cause it did not last long at all. I worked with Sunday Smith. She is great to work with and is very accessible. You can either call her or email her. I had 7 cake tastings, with Delicious Cakes being the first one. Others were just way over priced or tasted awful! Definitely go to Delicious Cakes in Addision. You will be so glad you did!

I only have one complaint with them, I emailed them a picture of what I wanted the groom's cake to look like and it forever to hear back from them. We emailed them twice to make sure they had recieved the photos okay and got responces saying they would call and then never heard from them so we finally had to call to make sure they had gotten them okay. Other than that they were very easy to work with and the cakes were amazing!

We had our wedding cake made by Delicious Cakes. Prior to booking we did cake tastings at 3 different locations. Delicious Cakes had the moistest and most flavorful cakes of the 3 and their prices were right in line with everyone else. They took our ideas and helped us develop them. They also were very flexible when I came in with a slightly different plan a month before the wedding. They listened and did it exactly how I'd asked. I was a little worried when the cake wasn't there when I was getting ready (about 1 1/2 hours before the start time) but they were came in and set up a few minutes later. Wonderful! We loved working with Butch and the team at Delicious Cakes. Cakes were beautiful and yummy! Amazingly delicious. From the moment we first met with them they showed us that they really appreciated our business and we were made to feel that way throughout the whole process. Awesome! My cake had 3 diff. flavors and people are still talking about how good it was!Plus since we had a New York theme wedding we ordered black and white cookies and honestly I've been disappointed with real NY b&w cookies ever since. Cookies were soooooooo good!

We thought our cake tasted wonderful and the bride's cake was beautiful! We enjoyed our tasting and the purchasing process. Two minor things: our sales lady left the company and our account was put in someone else's care. It was kind of odd that they didnt' tell us this and we found out by accident, I am glad we didn't try to contact our old person the day of! Secondly, the longhorn on the groom's cake was tiny, it didn't fill the entire top of the cake like I had hoped. Like I said, minor things, but all in all I was very satisfied! And we had tons of leftovers! AND - they make you another cake on your 1 year anniversary!

Our cake tasting session with Carol Fox was great! She even boxed up some cake for my then fiance to try (he was unable to make it). Building our custom cake was very easy and the styrofoam cut outs made it very easy to visualize! We chose three flavors of cake (devils food with fudge icing, white with buttercream and strawberry with fudge) and enough to feed 150 guests, even though we only had 90. We received numerous comments that our wedding cake was delicious and that it was so good people had to have another piece. At the end of the night there was NO CAKE LEFT. Thats a sign of a good wedding cake! I would definitely recommend Delicious Cakes to anyone!

Our reception was in April 2009. We contracted an elaborate, delicate and intricate design from Delicious Cakes and were assured they would deliver our dream cake. We paid an increased amount for this design. We remained in contact through emails, phone calls and face to face meetings between September 2008 - April 2009. At no point were we told that they could not replicate the design we wanted. My MOH actually ordered the cake from Delicious Cakes. The cake, however, was delicious as promised and I know that they allowed my MOH and her husband to transport it, thus saving a pretty penny.

We ordered both the wedding cake and the grooms cake, Both cakes looked absolutely amazing, but as cliche as it sounds they tasted even better then they looked. They did an awesome job, and they were on the ball the whole time. I HIGHLY recommend them!

They were very easy to work with. We gave them real seashells and let them do with them what they wanted on the cake and it was beautiful! I suggest to go with the filling! Everyone loved the cake!

Carol Fox helped us through the tasting process. The cake was just as their name suggests...delicious!the chocolate groom's cake was wonderful and as a chocolate lover...it was ever so yummy! Yet, the white wedding cake we chose was so fantastic...I just wanted more and more. It was decorated just as we had asked so the presentation was wonderful. Delicious Cakes was recommended by Eastside Story Bridal and I would recommend them without reservation. We also asked for a special little cake to be made to be presented to the ring bearer since wedding day was his birthday. the little bunt cake was there as promised and wonderful!

According to Delicious Cakes, they "fulfilled their contract"I WOULD NOT recommend Delicious Cakes, it is my opinion that they are about quantity and not quality.

The cakes are absolutely to die for, but we got a little bit of the run-around having to do our cake testing/design session three different times. The problem, again, was in their personnel and their lack of knowledge.

Delicious Cakes was a savior the week before my wedding because the vendor I booked vanished! They took my money and ran! Delicious Cakes was kind enough to make a wedding cake for me for the balance that I still owed my other vendor! I got my cake from here and i was very dissapointed. i would not recommend this place to anyone if they are having a wedding or any other big event. My cake they made for me was fake! I was supposed to get a cake that severed 198 people and i got one that served about 80. It is a horrible thing to find out when you are cutting into your cake for the first time in front of everyone and it is fake. I didnt have enough for the guest and what i was able to give out was a little sliver. The owner did give me half of my money back but i was still emmbarressed that half of my wedding guest didnt get any cake. If you are just getting it for a birthday then by all means get it from here because it is delicious but dont get it for a big event because they cant be trusted to get you the right thing.

Wonderful tasting cakes! The brides cake turned out exactly how I wanted it to! They listened and designed a lovely cake! The grooms cake was great too - my husband is a San Antonio Spurs Fan and wanted the Spurs logo. Delicious Cakes did a great job recreating that! We got lot's of compliments on how yummy the cakes tasted. We tried two other vendors before we chose Delicious Cakes, but they were the best. Moist and rich, yet simple and classic!

We ordered both the grooms cake and the brides cake from them. The grooms cake was absolutely amazing but I was disappointed in the brides cake. In the beginning I went to them because of the brides cake that I had sampled at the Dallas bridal show and the sample at the cake tasting was just as great but the final product was not as wonderful as the samples. It was dry and didn't taste as fresh. But I do have to say that the grooms cake made up for my disappointment in the brides cake. It was so amazingly good and it was a huge hit. Because of my husbands cake I would recommend them.

My cake was beautiful and worth the extra $50 dollars for silver frosting.

My wedding cake and my husband's groom cupcakes were so yummy. But we ran out of the cake AND cupcakes - many guests didn't get a taste of either cake. It's hard to say if this is Delicious Cake's fault or my caterer's (who cut the cake) fault. I asked my consultant at Delicious Cakes several times to help me figure out how much cake I needed. While I was looking to her for information and expertise, she never seemed to offer a solid opinion about the size of my order. My cake was supposed to serve 155 (we had 190 guests) and we had 150 mini cupcakes. She advised that some people won't eat cake at all and that most won't eat both the bride's and groom's cakes. Being my first experience with buying a giant cake, I really wish she would have offered more guidance about quantity. The base price isn't bad, but the second you start adding frills to your cake, the price quickly skyrockets. They did offer one small discount (10%) for placing an order & down payment on the same day as your initial consultation. There are probably bakeries who will offer a much better price. I'm a little upset that some of my guests didn't get dessert. BUT - my cake was amazingly delicious. And, when I look back at my wedding photos, my cake was a gorgeous highlight at my reception. The look was just right - exactly what I pictured in my mind. So, in that respect, I'm perfectly happy with Delicious Cakes (Addison).

My cake was beautiful with red rose pedal. Grooms cake was a huge chocolate fishing cake. Looked really cool

Everyone my husband and I spoke to were completely professional and made everything very easy on us. I only had an actual problem with the cake. I first saw it at my reception, and it looked like they had put it together last minute. It was supposed to look like stacked boxes, and the surfaces weren't smooth, and looked very rough. It was very upsetting.

They did a great job on our cakes, but could use some improvement on communication.

Delicious cakes REALLY are delicious! Groom's cake was wonderful, though coloring could have been darker. Bride's cake was beautiful with 4 tiers (one fake), but did not have enough texturing for the bride's taste. Also, the cake topper was not 100% perfect (fondant disc with letters on it, the letters were a little off from original design). Overall, great service, very friendly and professional.

Great people to work with and the cake was the BEST! We are looking forward to ordering a small layer of our cake for our 1st annivesary.

The service was great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The delivery charge was minimal, they set-up on time and even more important...the cake was delicious! We even ordered different cakes for each tier at no extra charge. I definitely recommend them.
