JD was AMAZING! I planned my entire wedding from California, and never even met up with him before hand. He was so professional yet fun, worked around my schedule, and the weathers schedule the day of(it was about to storm!) ! All of my music was played and more, and he even found the karaoke version of a song my best friend could not find so she could sing to it. He put up with my neurotic state over finding the perfect version of my song to walk down the Aisle to as well! And he has a wonderful announcing voice.My only sadness is that I want to get married over now so he can DJ my party again!hahaha I miss him already. JD you ROCKED my wedding! Thank you!

JD of Delta Disc Jockeys was amazing to work with! He accommodated our busy schedule to meet with us and make sure we were 100% comfortable going into our wedding day. Absolutely amazing! We had some very original music choices that they pulled off perfectly and because our minister "forgot" to show up for our wedding--J.D phoned his father and his father ended up being our minister! We will forever be grateful to J.D and Delta DJ for helping to make our wedding not only possible, but unforgettable! DJ Raph was wonderful! We had out reception at the Rockford Art Museum and we wanted the music to compliment the venue and skateboard exhibit. He had prepared great set lists and even changed the bride & groom dance the morning of after our early morning email to him. He went above and beyond to make sure that everyone was haivng a good time and checked in the bridal party to make sure that everyone was being taken care of. JD was our DJ for the wedding and he is a great guy to work with. He was accomodating with our initial meeting and was able to answer all our questions/concerns right from the start. We knew he was the right person for our wedding. The day of the wedding we made a last minute song change and he handled it with ease. He played all requests and kept the dance floor filled all night long which showed he was playing music everyone could dance to and appreciate. He knows how to keep the party going. JD showed to our wedding wearing a Tux looking suite and the best part was he didnt even know our colors and he showed up wearing our color. JD was FANTASTIC!!!!!! We will be contacting JD again for future events. He was very nice, he knew what he was doing, he kept the music going, kept our guest intertaned and if out guest had a song that they would liked played he had it. All we have to say is you will not find a better DJ out there.

Our experience with Delta Disc Jockeys was outstanding!! Quinn was very professional and easy to contact. He answered any questions and offered suggestions when we asked for advice. He played all the music that we wanted and was very flexible with our guests. He made the dance floor a great attraction for our guests, keeping the music appropriate for the energy that was presented on the dance floor. JD is amazing! He delivered so much more than what we could have ever imagined! We are still receiving feedback from our guests whom had a fabulous time. JD had our reception rocking all nite long! JD was a WONDERFUL DJ! He made our planning very easy (no stress!). We really enjoyed all of our meetings with him prior to the wedding to discuss our special day. At the wedding, he was very professional and really knew how to keep the party going! He was very helpful in making sure we got everything done in order (even when we forgot - when do we cut the cake? when do we do the bouquet toss?). He even rolled with surprises we threw at him in the middle of the night. The music he played was PERFECT for all ages! EVERY GUEST LOVED HIM and we would absolutely give him our HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!

Living out of the state made it difficult in many respects to plan our wedding. We decided that if we focused on making the venue, food, and music right the rest would fall into place. After doing a few interviews and several searches online regarding the music we found Delta Disc Jockeys! They provided documentation which made it pretty simple to get across the style, mood, and flow we had in mind for our wedding. Once we were set up with our DJ (Raph) we set up a meeting to make sure everyone was on the same page. I listen to some underground stuff that I thought would be fun to incorporate at the wedding and wanted his feedback. When he said, "It is our wedding and he will play what we tell him we want to hear" I was sold. If there were more stars for flexibility he would have gotten every one. The only reason for the 1/2 star reduction in quality was we had a request to fade our wedding song at a certain time. Instead of fading it just ended abruptly. Not a big deal, but it was noticed. This along with not having an actual mic stand as part of his gear led to the 4 stars in professionalism. We should have verified we needed one, but failed to do so. He did improvise and created one from a 3 legged camera tripod, but as the wedding photos show it would have been cleaner to have the real thing. Total comes to 4.7/5.0 stars which I truly think is outstanding considering all the points in a wedding day for things to go awry. Would recommend Delta Disc Jockeys in a heartbeat! We already had a DJ set for our wedding but we weren't very happy with the service we were getting while trying to get things in order for the big day. We searched around a bit and came across Delta Disc Jockeys web page and contacted them. Within a few min the owner himself called us and answered all of our questions without us having to even ask anything. We set up our appointment with Quinn, who made us so comfortable and relaxed that we ended up booking with these guys even though we hadn't planned on doing this right away. These guys are great!!!!

We could not have been more happy with Delta Disc Jockeys. Everyone at our wedding expressed what a great time they had and how they felt it was the best party they had been to in a while. Delta Disc Jockeys not only met our expectations, they exceeded them. We would definitely use them again and we highly recommend them to others.

JD was our DJ at our April 2011 wedding. He is a great guy and was a lot of fun at our wedding! He was very easy going and provided a detailed contract at my parents' request. He kept in touch with us for the months up to the wedding and provided great ideas as we didn't have anything specific picked for our ceremony or dinner music that we wanted. What he picked was perfect! It was energetic and we loved the CD of our songs he had made for us at the end of the night. Thanks, JD!

My experience with Delta Disc Jockeys was great! Anytime I had questions JD was so easy to contact. The easiest way for me to speak with him was by email and he made it work each time until we had to meet for the last time before the wedding. I was a little worried because my wedding was a Hispanic wedding and the songs I wanted were in Spanish (tejano/salsa/bachata). I was also worried about the way he would pronouce my bridal party names. All ended up turning out great. Even though at last minute I was a bit disappointed that JD was not there, he had another DJ there (on time and as soon as he seen me he came up to me and told me the circumstance as to why JD could not be there). I remember telling my husband I wonder how this DJ would be since we never met him. I have to say JD does well on hiring his employees. I am pleased to say how happy I was with who he sent. I told my husband he definately proved himself. Since the beginning of when the dance music started the dance floor was packed until the end of the night. There was not one time during the 5 hours he was there that the dance floor was empty. Everyone and I mean everyone kept telling me how much they enjoyed the wedding and how much they enjoyed the dancing/music. I told JD what I wanted and how I wanted it and I got it.

Over all Delta Disc Jockeys were great! I will definately recommend them to others and if needed again for another occassion I will call JD.

JD was so nice and fun to work with. He played a lot of up-to-date music and always had people on the dance floor.

After 2 of my cousins had DJ's that were a no-show at their weddings, I was a little scared. However, JD at Delta Disc Jockeys did a great job for our wedding. He was right on time (early even). JD was very helpful as far as offering suggestions for music to be played while seating the guests as well as during the meal. He did a great job sticking to the timeline, but was flexible enough to make changes when things didn't go quite as planned. JD was dressed very professionally as well, and he didn't speak into the microphone unless it was necessary to make announcements.

if you want your night to run smoothly and very well orginized this is the dj for you! e is very professional and very accomadating. Very polite and a lot of fun. He kept our whole day from beginning to end moving smoothly. All my guests were impressed with him and we coldn't have been happier with his services! The dj is the most vital part in your reception and you can't go wrong if you book him!

Delta Disc Jockeys came highly recommended by our wedding venue, and we agree - they are great! JD was very helpful in the planning process and did a fantastic job as the DJ/MC for our event.

My review of Delta Disc Jockeys glows so much it has a high potential of being radioactive. My fiancé and I were lucky enough to get Raph from Delta DJ, and he is our absolute hero. Let me tell you a story…

The event manager of the hotel we had our wedding ceremony and reception at somehow got the timeline all screwed up. Instead of having the ceremony at 4, cocktails at 4:30 to 5:30 and dinner at 6, we ended up with the timeline of ceremony from 4 to 4:30, NOTHING from 4:30 to 5 (people had to buy drinks) and then cocktails starting at 5 and dinner wasn’t until 7. That would be a two hour cocktail hour, which is ridiculous.

Luckily, Raph also thought a 2 hour cocktail hour was ridiculous and he was able to somehow finagle the event manager to move dinner to 6:30 from 7, even though we had already been told that it was impossible to change the times. Aside from putting the hotel in its place and saving my sanity, Raph is an excellent stage manager. He told everyone where to be, at what time and in what order. I didn’t have to do a thing, which is practically priceless for a harassed bride on the big day. Raph also negotiated with the photographer to stay an extra half hour at no cost. The photographer was scheduled to leave at 8, but we wouldnt' have made it to the first dance by 8, let alone the rest of the dancing. Our photographer's bill rate was $250 for each extra hour, so needless to say Raph saved us some money with his negotiating.

Be advised that you are hiring an event manager, not just someone to play music. However, music is not a secondary thing to Raph or Delta DJ. They have huge, state of the art rigs and a ridiculous amount of music and several backup computers and equipment for worst case scenarios. I personally am a huge metal head and Raph was able to whip out some Pantera for me with about an hour’s notice. Most DJs don’t carry any metal at all, but Raph had absolutely no problem getting those songs, and some other hard to find songs as well. So, if music is really important to you for your wedding, I would recommend Delta DJ.

If you are curious about all the prep that goes into setting up for your wedding, you first meet with someone who schedules everything from Delta DJ, and they pair you with a DJ they feel will be the best fit for your wedding and who is available. Then, they give you a good amount of paperwork to fill out that include a huge list of songs, the names and order of the bridal party and other important people to be announced. You specify which songs you want to play when (entrance songs, cake cutting, first dances, etc). There is also a section for do and don’t play song lists. Every song on our “do play” list was played during the reception – Raph doesn’t skimp out on what you ask of him. We also didn’t hear any of our “do not play” songs, which was great.

After filling out all that stuff you meet with the DJ himself and you get a feel for each other, and he/she asks more questions about what type of music you are looking for overall and how you want your wedding to play out. I felt very comfortable about how everything would pan out after meeting with Raph, and he was totally open to changes (I made a few after our meeting).

In closing, I can’t recommend Delta DJ highly enough, and Raph in particular was awesome. He was a true life saver, and we can’t thank him enough. To all my fellow brides – if you want absolutely nothing to worry about when it comes to your DJ, hire Raph from Delta DJ.

Thank you JD for everything you have done to make our wedding so special. Not only did you take extra time out of your busy schedule to work with us prior to the wedding, but you went above and beyond our expectations. You were professional, courteous, a great communicator and organized. We really appreciated everything and could not thank you enough. If anyone asks me who to recommend for a dj, we will always recommend you.

Our reception hall failed to provide us with proper equipment for something unrelated to the DJ and Delta Disc Jockeys went above and beyond to get the equipment brought in to the hall during the wedding reception and with no notice. We had a wonderful experience with Delta Disc Jockeys. The morning of our wedding the DJ we had scheduled had flooding in his house and was unable to be our DJ. Delta Disc Jockeys had already lined up another DJ before I was ever given the news. This made it a lot less stressful of a situation to know that they had everything under control. Raphe was the DJ who stepped in last minute and he did an AMAZING job! Nobody would have known that we didn't meet him until the beginning of the reception. He put our mind at ease from the minute we met him and he did an outstanding job of doing what we had asked for. JD Mason was the DJ for our wedding this past July, he did a outstanding job. He gave great song suggestions and played all of the songs that were on our request list and none of the songs that were on our do-not-play list (no questions asked). The dance floor was completely PACKED all night, he had a great mix of music so that all of our guests were able to enjoy and dance to the songs. Gave us the perfect balance for us between using his professional choices on the various music played and our personal song picks. His music choices complimented our wishes better than we could have picked ourselves! His ability to listen and flesh out the types of music to fit our wedding was without peer.

If there was one part of our wedding that my wife and I never worried about, it was the music. JD met with us on two occassions to collaborate the song choices as well as maintained phone contact all the way up to and even after our wedding! It's true that the one aspect all of your guests will remember first and foremost is the music. JD did a terrific job transitioning the music selection from cocktail hour to dinner and also from formal dances to general dancing. Not only did JD perform as our DJ, but also served as a guide in other aspects of our wedding. He provided us with helpful questions to ask of our reception hall that we never even thought of! We hired Delta Disc Jockeys for our wedding in October. Wow! What a great find! We could not have been happier. We had a few last minute changes and JD (our DJ) handled everything great. In fact, I had put together a photo montage slide show but didn't have any music to play along with it. JD was put on the spot and picked just the perfect songs to play along to the slide show. It made that moment just perfect!

We picked JD by recommendations from other vendors. And they were right. JD was professional, he came out and met with us first, helped us pick out songs, also added a song for us that we wanted, and he was reliable. JD was also helpful with recommending other vendors. Lastly JD kept the wedding going and helped with the flow. We didnt have a wedding planner so we relied on JD a lot and it paid off.

Considering this was a mixed age and cultural wedding, the DJ did an excellent job with the music, there was people dancing at every song! Would definetly hire him again!

Our officiant arrived an hour late to the wedding ceremony due to some family problems, so in turn the reception was pushed back also. The DJ was more than understanding, and stayed for an extra hour. We had to play a bit more but it was worth it because we had a great deal in the first place. The DJ was also upbeat and fun, and played all the songs that we requested. I would recommend this DJ service to anyone looking to have a good time at their reception.

JD was great! He and his company delivered everthing they sadi they would and more. He made our wedding what it was, the best night of our lives! We didn't have to do anything. We met with JD twice, once to do the contratc then again about 3 weeks before the wedding to go over names and songs for our first dance and stuff. He handled everything and made our wedding perfect. I think he got some other weddings that night becuase evryone had such a great time. The price was right and well worth it. I hope we tipped him enough. He was well worth it!
