Their boutique is awe-inspiring and the sheer elegance and professionalism of their bridal consultants made the price tag more than worth it—you pay for perfection. From their website to their catalogs you are inspired to choose from the most elegant and enchanting gowns imaginable. From the moment you walk into the bridal salon you notice the countless “Cinderella-like” gowns everywhere you look and as you work with your bridal consultant she seamlessly shows you collections that fit your vision. Their no pressure attitudes and willingness to work for you rather than with makes it possible to calm even the most unruly bride or groomzilla. I would happily and eagerly recommend Brides by Demetrios without hesitation if you are truly looking for an eye-opening, jaw dropping gown that will leave lasting impressions on all who set eyes upon it.

I did not buy my dress here. I told the woman I wanted a slim dress (no poofy skirts or trains). Everything she showed me had an enormous skirt and was nothing like what I was asking for. She did not seem interested in helping me get what I wanted. My mother, sister, and I left after only 25 minutes because I did not feel I could work with here to find a dress I would love.

I loved my dress!! Everyone we worked with was very nice and helpful- we did always have an appt- I've heard if you don't they aren't as friendly. The only complaint I have is that they ordered the wrong veil. But, they took care of it and ordered the correct one. If they have the dress you love, I would recommend purchasing it there!

My dress was absolutely beautiful, and they had my dress shipped in three months. My veil was matched perfectly to my dress.

Demetrio's had a great selection of gowns and I loved my dress. I was not that impressed with customer service.

I went to the Brides by Demetrios in Troy, MI. They were really helpful. They had lots of tips, like putting baby powder under my arms so the bead work wouldn't hurt. Also as my wedding was in August they talked me out of buying a dress that I would have completely overheated in. It was the first place that I went that people actually seemed to care more about making my wedding nice than about selling a dress.

They pretend to know what they're doing. They don't. I wanted to pay for all my bridesmaids and asked Demetrios MULTIPLE times NOT TO ASK FOR MONEY from my girls. They not only approached them EACH with reciepts IN FRONT OF ME, they put them on the spot telling them to THANK ME for paying for their dresses and made them feel extremely comfortable. I needed to go in for my final fitting for my dress. They said that my alterationist was out of town. I asked to see their other alterationist and they said that "house rules" state that you need to stay with the same alterationist that originally worked on your dress. They said they didn't know when my alterationist would be back in town. Said there was nothing they could do to help me. Thinking my dress might be OK, I went in to try it on one more time. I was tripping all over it but was told "when we steam it, it will shrink, don't worry about it." Well, while digging through my wedding paperwork, I found my original alterationists phone number, and gave her a call. Not only was she NOT OUT OF TOWN, she had stopped working there because of their business ethics. THEY LIED TO ME! I stormed down to Demetrios, picked up all my bridesmaid dresses, flowergirl dresses, and my dress and went to the alterationists house were she altered four of the seven bridesmaids dresses and my dress ONE DAY before the wedding. She had to completely take apart my dress, take two inches off the bottom, and bring it in 3 inches in the corset and waist. The other three bridesmaid dresses that were altered by Demetrios were done wrong and I had to have my aunts sew the three girls into their dresses THE DAY OF the wedding.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE! If you buy a dress from them, TAKE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE to alter them!

I think the saying is true that "you can't put a price on beauty." My wedding dress and veil were definitely costly, but in my opinion, it was well worth it. I had basically given up on finding the "perfect" dress, especially after a full day spent running from boutique to boutique. Most of the saleswomen I worked with were snobby and made no effort to help me find the most important dress of my life. Then came Demetrio's. A classy boutique that is FULL of dresses, all designed and hand-made by Demetrio himself. I worked with a woman named Zita, who not only cared about finding me the perfect dress, which she did, but who also kept in touch with me personally until the day I walked down the aisle. Just to make sure everything was okay. The price is high because your measurements are sent to Paris, where the dress is made in Demetrio's warehouse. But the end result is worth it: a dress that is designed to fit you PERFECTLY, and make you feel spectacular on your special day. You're also guaranteed a unique experience, because you can alter Demetrio's basic designs to fit your own personal taste. I would encourage girls to go to Demetrio's. You only get to wear your wedding dress once, which is why most girls settle for a cheaper design. I would argue that it is BECAUSE you only get to wear it once that you opt to pay more. You'll be able to look back on the biggest day of your life knowing that you couldn't have looked better.
