Let me first say that I loved attending the showcase. I knew that we needed a DJ and D & D were one of two allowed at my location.

Larry was our DJ for the night. He was great. My guests were not really the dancing type but he played a wide variety that got each generation dancing. Perfect!

We booked Macio on the spot when we attended a Denon and Doyle showcase. I was so impressed with this company, they seemed so professional. They weren't the least expensive company out there but Macio was well worth it, he was fantastic! I was amazed at how hardly anyone was sitting down the entire night. People would come up to us toward the end of the night and start to say good-bye and then Macio would play a song and they would say, "I love this song! We'll stay for this one last song." All of those people were there until the very end of the night.

Mark Haggerty from Denon & Doyle did an outstanding job at our wedding. He kept everybody entertained and followed our do and don't play list. He also was very good at keeping the flow of the reception as an MC. I got to speak to Mark directly before the wedding and it was great, as we got to know him a little. Highly recommended.

We were lucky enough to book Mark Haggerty from Denon and Doyle for our wedding. Mark is a seasoned professional and it shows. Not only was he a graceful emcee, who kept the evening running smoothly, but he also kept the dance floor packed all night long. Denon and Doyle is a little more expensive than other dj services out there, but being able to rely on Mark's expertise was more than worth it.

My guests keep gushing about how awesome our DJ, Mark Haggarty, from Denon & Doyle was at our wedding in July. Mark dealt with our electricity issues (backyard wedding) and was a perfect host. He truly set a tone for the night by creating activities that got the crowd involved and then mixing a wonderful playlist that literally kept our dance floor packed with guests of all ages the entire night.

Choosing Denon & Doyle was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. It truly wouldn't have been the same without them!

Denon & Doyle has got to be the most professional and organized DJ operation out there. We were so impressed by their showcase and website, that we didn't waste too much time searching for a DJ. They're also reasonably priced. We knew they'd be perfect and they didn't disappoint. They're so organized and have a wonderful online wedding planner. Our DJ was Mark Haggerty and he was perfect. He edited songs for us, set up and brokedown our video presentation, and played exactly what we asked for. D & D is very respectful to provide the entertainment that you want. They provide you with every opportunity to tell them what you want and then execute that vision. I only wish we'd had more time for dancing!

I can't recommend Denon & Doyle highly enough! We were planning our wedding from out-of-town, so I relied mostly on reviews found during internet research. Based on these reviews, we requested Mark Haggerty, and he certainly didn't disappoint! After months of deliberating, it was such a pleasure to select our DJ, knowing that we were in good hands; we honestly never thought about it again until the wedding began to approach.

Once the time came to meet with Mark in person, we found the Denon & Doyle headquarters to be a complete breath of fresh air. Everyone we met was so impressive and professional that it really put our minds at ease. D & D will give you one less thing to worry about as you plan your wedding!

Although we requested some music selections in advance, we entrusted Mark to find the right balance for our event, and we were glad we did. Neither one of our families enjoy dancing, but Mark did an excellent job of coaxing people out onto the dance floor. Since we had requested an unobtrusive DJ style, it was merely a matter of selecting the right music, and Mark was able to read the crowd expertly, without any direction from our part. Indeed, we probably would have led him astray, with our own interests! So we were very glad that he was there to make executive decisions. We had feared a totally empty dance floor, but didn't have anything to worry about with Mark at the helm.

I doubt anyone could go wrong with Denon & Doyle. Nonetheless, I wanted to note that they offer frequent showcases where interested couples can see the DJs perform. But we didn't need to meet Mark to know that he'd be extraordinary. The great part about Denon & Doyle is that you can leave everything up to their considerable expertise. Trust them to make your next event a special one!

We had a great time with Patrick from Denon and Doyle. He did a marvelous job.

The only negative thing is that you don't speak directly to your DJ before the wedding but through the office manager who then conveys things to patrick. I think things can get lost in the communication. For example, I told Mark that I didn't want any of the cheesy wedding music to be played at all. He told me not to worry about it but Patrick would never play corny wedding music. But because someone requested it Patrick played YMCA and the macarena. Ordinarily I would have walked off the dance floor, but it was surprisingly fun to dance to and everyone got into it!

We also chose one DJ but he ended up backing out because he decided to go to medical school instead.

Everyone at Denon and Doyle were professional from the beginning and were very helpful. We actually were very last second with the songs we chose and music details and just let the DJ choose out most of the songs.

We were really lucky to get Patrick. I think Patrick was well worth the money (Denon and Doyle I think are amongst the more expensive DJ's in SF). He was very professional. The dance floor was full the entire time and we loved the other music he played. Everyone (except my korean relatives who never dance) were dancing. My father in law who is normally such a quiet man was a nut on the dance floor. People complimented us on the DJ afterwards and everyone thought the reception ran smoothly. Patrick also MC-ed the reception and he did a great job with that too. He's one of the reasons why our wedding was such a success.

We went with these guys after reading their awesome reviews online. We had such a good feeling about them but held off to book until we could attend one of their showcases. We did not know what to expect but WOW did they knock our socks off. They are so professional and their entire staff is displays the kind of customer service you rarely see these days. We asked them to choose a DJ from their staff that matched our personalities and we got Kevin. He was amazing. It was like having our own concierge at the wedding. Not only did he play great music and coordinate our events, but he was always watching out for our family, bridal party and friends. I think he topped off my champagne glass twice and at one point I even witnessed him escorting my grandmother to the food stations. If you are looking for a DJ you owe it to yourself to attend one of their showcases and see what a difference they make.

These guys were great. You can go to their offices occasionally to hear all of their DJs. The ones we wanted weren't available, but we got Solomon and we loved him. He knew just how much to talk, how to get everyone up and dancing. We had a Jewish wedding and he did a good job with the Horah and some traditional stuff. Great music without being too cheesy. Perfect!

They were able to provide everything that I wanted. This includes music, lighting, GOBO, and DJ. They were on time, very professional, and made my wedding the party that I wanted it to be. Mark and Jason did a great job in interacting with our guests and even threw in a few games to give away the center pieces. Chris their graphic design artist contacted me way in advanced to make sure the photo booth print outs and GOBO were exactly what I wanted them to be. The Monday immediately following my wedding, the manager contacted me to make sure that everything went well. Denon and Doyle provides nothing but first class service and I would highly recommend them and use them again.

I don't even know where to start! From the very beginning (almost two years before my wedding, because I am crazy), I knew Denon & Doyle was going to be amazing. I first had my inquiries answered by Sue who was always very timely, sweet and informative.I then started corresponding with the DJ I was interested in himself, Mr. Mark Haggerty. He was so amazing. As a small yet important sidenote: I was initially interested in using Denon & Doyle for lighting services in addition to DJ services and Mark went above and beyond to give me photos and videos of lighting they had done at my venue. Top notch service. (We ended up going through someone else for lighting but that had absolutely nothing to do with Denon & Doyle's work or their pricing--both of which looked fantastic! )Now, as far as the actual event itself...Mark really exceeded all of my expectations. He called me a couple of days before the wedding and put my (crazed) mind at ease. He really made me feel like everything was going to run smoothly and boy was he right!On the day of the wedding, he introduced everyone perfectly, played all the music we asked to be played and best of all: KEPT THE PARTY GOING! Seriously, I'm pretty sure every single one of our wedding guests (all 175 of them) were on the dance floor at one point or another (if not all night).I can't say enough amazing things about Mark Haggerty and Denon & Doyle--I was blown away. You will not regret booking with them. DO IT!

Binky was our DJ and he was awesome!!! A good friend recommended this company for our weddin and I do the same for any brides in the bay area and Sacramento areas. They take all the hassle out of planning music for your reception. You simply fill out a questionaire and they do the rest. Our dance floor was packed all night long and our DJ even joined us for the Cupid shuffle!

Amazing, Fun, Extrodianary, Really went ABOVE AND FAR FAR BEYOND our expectations. We had a beautiful setting, the palace of fine arts on a beautiful day. After our sunny ceremony we sat down for our dinner under the windy rotunda. Everything was great and then the wind really kicked up and a few things blew over and our guests were freezing. While we are trying to rush the dances, cake cutting, etc... Solomon, our FABULOUS dj, talked to the Exploratorium and was able to convience them to let us use their lobby for dancing. Needless to say he kinda saved the night. Not only did he get us to an indoor venue but he also really, really, encouraged our crowd to get out there and dance and have FUN. Solomon was great.We also have friends who used Denon and Doyle about two months ago for their wedding and their dj was cleaning leaves from the pool before their wedding, without being asked. These guys go WAY, WAY beyond your expectations. They play exactly what you want and they are so nice and fun.Thank you for everything, we truly appreciate it. You were AMAZING

Kevin was fantastic!Denon & Doyle provided our Wedding Ceremony music, our Cocktail hour music, Dinner hour music, and of course our Reception music - DANCE PARTY!!!We got so many positive comments from guests of all ages, who loved the music at all of the various points of the wedding. Everything was digital and super prepared. They made sure to have all of the exact versions of the specific songs that we wanted to use. Kevin had some great suggestions for getting our guests up and out of their seats and also for various songs to use at different points. We could have danced all night!!! It was a blast and a lot of that was because of the great music.Thanks so much Kevin & Denon & Doyle. If we ever need a DJ again, we know who to call!

Wondeful! Great selection of music and the DJ was a fantastic MC. I also had a photo booth which was a big hit with all of my guests!

Denon & Doyle were so flexible. We are incredibly picky about music, and didn't want the standard run of the mill wedding music, nor many elements of a wedding reception that we find tacky and overdone. Abe made everything run smoothly, scrapped the rules about song selection, and threw in sweet extras. It was a great party that ran without a glitch or a worry on our part. We are very satisfied.

Solomon was amazing- ask for him! He played everything we had as Must Haves, he listened to us and captured the air of the evening!

They are great - EVERYONE that attended my wedding was up and dancing. Just let them pick the songs, they are experts and know what they are doing. It's not too loud or too quiet, volume level is always just right. And they really know how to keep the party going! Everyone said they had a blast at my wedding and I think D&D had a lot to do with it! If you're curious about them, call them and ask about their open houses. It will give you all the information you need :)

If you want a great reception, think about hiring a photobooth!! Besides my DJ, the photobooth (and the attendant) were a big hit. I researched a few photobooth vendors and felt D&D were the right choice at the right price for me. They have a solid reputation. Offer excellent machines including vintage models. Stay away from all those amateurish digital camera/printer setups with the pvc pipe rigging and curtain enclosures.We opted for the APM which is a stand alone open booth. My guests loved it! Even the more conservative, reserved guests got more than a few poses in. Tom the attendant was great! He loved helping people, but especially loved helping the kids. He was a good looking guy which helped break the ice for more than a few of my single female guests to get a little crazy and have some fun!The cost was just right for us and the size of the booth for our venue perfect. I would have loved to have been able to get the full size booth but thought that getting more people in an open area was better and I was right!For much less than $1000.00 my guests had a great time and a momento of that evening! You should see the scrap book pages people made for us, instead of signing a boring ol' guest book!D&D was great with communication and delivered everything they promised. Every step of the process was so easy and smooth. I handled all the paperwork with Sue Doyle and she was excellent to work with. When the time came, she had a great graphic designer work with us on our stip layout design. And she even came through on a unique font I wanted to use! Tom was there with the booth on-time and we had no problems with the equipment the entire night. The quality of the photo strips was excellent, plus getting a DVD AND an online gallery is more than what I expected. Now everyone can see themselves and get an extra copy of their photos!I would definitely hire them again for other events. Holidays are just around the corner....

Most notably, we appreciated the help and enthusiasm of Chris. The DJ/MC of a wedding is an integral part of the celebration. Two weeks before our wedding, we attended a wedding as guests and found that Chris was the DJ! It was a great chance to see his style and we knew we were in good hands! When it was our turn to plan, he was flexible with his schedule and spent a lot of time with my family working out our timeline and making helpful suggestions. The games were a complete success and made our wedding so unique! During our reception Chris helped make us feel comfortable and our bridal party enjoyed his enthusiasm. We created a full timeline with several song requests and Chris helped to capture the best of them. The Italian traditions that we wanted to incorporate were welcomed and Chris helped to incorporate them in an elegant and fun way.Thank you again for everything! Larry did a great job at our small wedding ceremony and reception. He was professional and definitely read the crowd, which was what we had requested. We were very happy with the service we received from the company and recommend it for any occasion.

We chose Denon & Doyle because of a specific DJ. Sean was the DJ at a friend's wedding and we loved his professionalism, his flexibility, his song choices, and the way he didn't draw any attention to himself. He was just as great at our wedding! We highly recommend him. We also recommend Denon & Doyle as a whole for their quick responses to our calls/emails and their attention to detail. They were very accommodating and professional. My husband and I hired Kevin Hartman from Denon and Doyle to DJ our wedding in July and we are so happy that we did. Everyone at Denon and Doyle is very professional and they definitely know what they are doing. We had a few phone calls with Kevin before the wedding, and he really spent time to understand what we wanted. He was great at giving us suggestions on songs and helping us with timeline questions, and we knew we were in good hands. One the day of the wedding, he did a great job of keeping the night flowing, following the timeline we came up with and keeping everything fun. He kept our guests (including us) dancing all night. We had so much fun at the wedding and it turned out exactly has we wanted, a big, fun party!We also went to one of Denon and Doyle’s regular DJ showcases before the wedding where they walk you through a whole wedding and give suggestions on how the timeline should go, various songs you can use, etc. The DJ showcase very helpful, and we lucked out that Kevin was the DJ for that event, so we got to see him in action before the wedding. We found their prices to be very reasonable also.I’m really glad that we chose to work with Denon and Doyle, and Kevin. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ.

D&D is an awesome and fun company! We are so glad that we chose to book their walk-up photobooth for our wedding. At the time, it was a new machine, but we knew we needed a booth that can take pictures of a bunch of people at time. Our guests had so much fun using it and this includes guests of all ages! It was so simple to use that a bunch of the little kids used it too! Even my 4-year old nephew had pics taken! We loved the ease of the booth since guests just had to select a color, pose then wait 5 seconds for it to print. We used the pictures for the guestbook and loved viewing the pages the day after the wedding. So many people have asked for their information for their events too. If you want to add a fun element to your wedding book the walk-up photobooth, you won't regret it!

Kevin did the music for my wedding ceremony and reception. I honestly did not worry about the music all evening. I have a large Indian family that loves to dance. I put in a special request for Indian music during the reception and Kevin did not disappoint. Everyone had a great time at the reception and they are still raving about how fun it was. Denon and Doyle were terrific to work with as our wedding DJ. They were always very responsive and professional throughout the wedding planning process. Our DJ, Mark, was great and very helpful as we finalized plans and song choices in the weeks before the wedding. Everything went perfect with sound at the wedding and everyone had a terrific time. One word - Outstanding!I was a bride who was so busy with work that unfortunately my wedding planning went by the wayside. They were attentive, organized, professional and listened to my fiancee's requests. Kevin was so easy to work with and kept the right music at the right time! I would hire them again and again for any event.

Our DJ Chris was on the ball every step of the reception. He even checked in with us to make sure we had something to drink, eat, and were enjoying the reception. He kept everything on schedule and even added some special touches to the evening that were a wonderful and fun surprise. We have had nothing but great things said by our guests about our entertainment. I wouldn't recommend anyone else as a DJ service.

Denon & Doyle were a pleasure from the beginning. They have weddings down to a science. Our actual DJ was great as well... super fun and great music!

From the Showcase and on Denon and Doyle were great. Very professional. Brian Holmes was our DJ and did an awesome job. The dance floor was full and he played all the songs requested. He was always professional and never cheesy. Everyone complimented Brian's DJ'ing skills. We had people say they would use him at their events as he was so great. We LOVED DJ Donald from D&D. He literally rocked the house. We gave him a pretty detailed list of music we wanted to hear, and he followed instructions well! I'm sure if we didn't give him a list of songs he would have been great also. I think he danced behind his DJ booth as much as the rest of us did! His energy was super high and contagious - all the guests loved him. Working with D&D during the planning process couldn't have been easier. I loved being able to fill out all the info online too - it helped me stay organized. Go with Donald if you need a badass DJ for your wedding!

I hired Denon & Doyle for my wedding,these guys where great! They kept everyone at my wedding dancing all night.They where very professional, I gave them a list of music and they knew exactly what to do.I am very pleased with the job they did,would definitely hire again.

This group was great to work with. They were very responsive whenever we had questions. They also periodically hold showcases for couples that are great for giving ideas on things like games and other activities that are fun for the guests but are classy and not at all cheesy. In addition, you get a chance to meet some of the DJs so that you can determine if there is a personality fit. During the ceremony the DJ (Paul Jackson) faded into the background unless there were announcements that needed to be made. He really kept people on the dance floor and our guests had a fabulous time. So much so that they didn't want to stop dancing. He humored us and our guests and played two extra songs including one from my husband's iPhone. I can't say enough good things about this group. If I ever need a DJ again for anything I'm going straight back to this company. They were fantastic. I found that it was rare to find really professional companies in the whole wedding process but this was one of the best that I dealt with.

We used Denon & Doyle to DJ our wedding last year and they were awesome! From the start they were super professional on the phone and had a very easy-to-use web form to fill out all the information for our wedding. They were very responsive and attentive and seemed genuinely concerned that we got exactly what we wanted. Larry was our DJ and he was perfect... no nonense, very professional and not cheesy like a lot of other DJs we've seen! ;) These guys are a very professional operation.

One of the best parts of our wedding was the DJ! Gracie from Denon & Doyle was very professional yet her energy really got the crowd going. She was able to handle all of the requests and still keep the flow going. Not to mention the Armenian side of the family requested a few Armenian songs that were really long and she still didn't skip a beat. Fabulous service from a fabulous company! Highly recommended!

Mark was excellent!!! We asked for Persian music at our reception and he came through amazingly - my husband's family was very happy and danced the night away. He was receptive to suggestions and made the night great! Highly recommend

Denon & Doyle DJ was phenominal - our DJs name was Chris Mowery and he was fantastic. On time, organized, great energy, professional, wasn't trying to be the center of the show but played all the music we wanted and got the crowd energized. We had people telling us for weeks after how great the DJ was! We had technical problems with our slide show and he cared enough to work to figure it out - and the slide show ended up going off without a hitch. I'm not that into crowd dances or games, so was relieved not to have any of the cheezy YMCA, Shout or Electric Slide incorporated into anything - however, he did end up doing a really cute game with shoes (ask them about it!) and it was great - everyone loved it and even I loved it, which I didn't think I would. Anyway - highly recommend this company!

Great company. Very thorough assessment of what we wanted. We submitted a "play" and "do not play" list, both of which our DJ, Abe, followed. Cocktail hour was a little cheezy, but honestly I think my (now) husband probably picked most of those songs, some of which were meant to be funny, some not. When things weren't getting as lively as we hoped, my husband just went over to the DJ, asked him to play some "butt shaking music" and Abe played a lot of club hits that people loved. Everyone had a great time, and Abe was very helpful with the schedule of the night and also diffusing any attempts by relatives to make unplanned speeches :). Very diplomatic!

My husband and I have nothing but compliments for our DJ Kevin!! He did such a great job, he listened to our wants and needs for the type of reception and ceremony we wanted to have. Everyone commented on the great selection of music and wanted to know who the DJ company was. We have nothing but high regard for Denon & Doyle. From the first phone call to the week even day before the wedding they held our hands and were the easiest vendor to work with hands-down. If we could get married again we would use them again and for that fact any other event we would ever need them for. Thank you for making our special day absolutely spectacular and unforgettable!!

Chris was amazing and went above and beyond!

We had Kevin as our DJ and we rented a photo booth from Denon & Doyle. We provided Kevin with guidance on music but not on specific choices and this proved to be a great way to approach our reception. Guests loved the music and there was not a single song that was played where the dance floor was not crowded. The photo booth was a huge hit as well and the line to take photos was 6-8 people deep all night! Our guests loved the props and the photo booth attendant (I cannot remember his name)was a hit at the party. He was helpful and fun, egging on our guests to pose with props and even taking photos with them! It was an outstanding addition and I am so glad we spent the extra money to have the photo booth capture so many great pictures of our close family and friends enjoying the party!

5 stars on the service! Sue Doyle & Mark Addington were so great to work with during the prepping process. Always responsive, answered the phone and my questions! I really appreciate them both.Our DJ Tim, was right on time, there were a few hiccups during the night, but I think he tried his best. When he speaks, he really grabs everyones attention. He reminds me of Dustin Hoffman in Meet the Fockers. My only complaint is I wish he could've been a little bit more proactive and attentive, but I think I chose the option where I wanted them to be more hands off and therefore he was. Music was great and he knew how to work the crowd, which was my main concern.I also rented a photobooth from them, the attendant did an awesome job, I didn't catch his name. We initially rented the APM APM booth, but I was worrying because I found out that there was no curtain in the back, unless you get the one that covers the whole thing. Anyway, at the last minute Sue contacted me and offered me an upgrade, that really made my week, thank you Sue.D&D has the greatest service ever. They are experts in this and know what they are doing. I had such a pleasant experience working with them.

We had a great experience with Denon & Doyle. After attending one of their DJ showcases, we decided to select Chris to be our DJ. He was amazing! His music selections were spot on and the dance floor was always packed. Chris also checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we didn't need anything. My favorite comment came from my mom and she said, "You never really even knew he was there; everything just flowed and went perfectly." I was very aware that Chris was there because i never had to worry about a thing. I highly recommend Chris and Denon & Doyle!

I loved Mark Addington, I've personally known him for a few years and I'm very glad he was willing and able to be my DJ. He did a great job and I know everyone had a good time.

The best thing about this DJ company is they figure out exactly what you want and then simply provide it. They can run the whole event (coordinating times, etc.) or just fade into the background -- whatever it is you're looking for.They're also very professional about situations that arise....for example, the DJ that my husband and I requested was unexpectedly admitted to the hospital the day before our wedding, but Denon & Doyle immediately got another one of their DJs to take the job and gave him all the information he needed. It wasn't an ideal situation since we really liked the first DJ we had chosen, but I was impressed by the way the company handled it.

We worked with Kevin Hartman at Denon & Doyle and let me just say that he was the BEST DJ ever. We got so many compliments on him. I don't think the whole night anyone was sitting down, because he played the best mix of music and could really tell what people liked to hear and kept the party live and entertaining the entire time. Denon and Doyle in general was a pleasure to work with. They were always so kind and attentive and helpful. I really enjoyed working with them and would recommend them to everyone. Loved working with them!

They were fantastic (we had Paul Jackson who was awesome)! the whole process leading up to the wedding was great - they made it so easy to plan and Paul was great on the day of the wedding!

Kevin, the DJ we selected was great. He MC'd our reception, kept guests dancing all night and played great music! They also provided stylish lighting for the reception venue and were very responsive to questions and changes prior to our reception.

We had a lovely experience with Denon and Doyle. Our DJ (whose name escapes me) was great. He maintained a low profile and kept the songs going all night, which was what we wanted. I don't like obnoxious DJs so this was really great! He also set up music for the ceremony, which was perfect. Denon and Doyle are very professional and easy to work with.

Denon & Doyle provided the DJ service for us, and our DJ was Timmy (Phelps). He was awesome! He was really creative in filling in different music for portions of our wedding that we didn't even pick songs for (i.e. the slide show!) The songs were the perfect songs for the slide show. Also, he stayed a little extra in the end, as it was just us and our close friends, dancing the night away. Timmy was the one part of the wedding that just about everyone complemented us about! The songs that he picked were great - we only picked a few songs, and Timmy picked the rest of them... We had a blast on the dance floor!

The people at Denon & Doyle were very helpful even before I hired them. I attended an open house and recieved loads of info. And once hired, they never minded how many times I called with questions or music suggestions. Also, they have such a wide array of djs that it is super easy to find a dj to fit your needs.

We used Denon & Doyle for our cocktail hour and reception and weren't disappointed! Our DJ kept everyone on the dance floor throughout the whole night, and also suprised us with a fun game right after our cake cutting - totally unique and fun! Only reason why we didn't give all 5's is because I heard after the wedding that requests weren't being taken for some reason - which we didn't realize and would have liked BUT I'm sure it was because the dance floor was full and the requests would have broken that up. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout!!

Sue Doyle, the company's co-owner, stands out in my mind as an excellent vendor--extremely responsive, helpful, and will go the extra mile. When I told Sue I wanted an uplighting package ($450), she went to the venue herself to inspect the grounds, and created lighting design. While the overall effect wasn't as great as Got Light's, it was much less expensive and sufficient. The sound equipment was excellent and the DJ played everything we requested. We wanted very minimal vocal participation from the DJ, which is what we got. Everyone had a terrific time dancing at the wedding, and it was much less expensive than hiring a band. We were slightly concerned when DJ Martin wouldn't return my husband's calls in the weeks leading up to the wedding, but he eventually got back to him the week before.

Great company but watch out for which vendor you choose! We thought the company was very responsible and our DJ showed up just like he was supposed to and was professional. Unfort, all the info that we gave the company about what songs we wanted etc...our DJ lost somehow. We had to give it to him again a few days before the wedding. Overall, he had the right equipment and it worked. But, our DJ couldn't pick up on the cues of the crowd and guests asked a few times to lower the music while they ate then didn't dance to the songs the DJ chose (he didn't notice cause he didn't change up the music).

Brendan did a great job at our wedding. He played all the songs we requested, and made sure not to include songs with profanity.

Professional and flexible. I submitted a playlist with music for young and old. Our DJ Timmy did a good job of having a bit of both.

We had a costume dance party for our reception. We just wanted music, no talking by the DJ. If you want a DJ that really knows you and what you want to hear; book someone else. I booked with Denon and Doyle because it was easy and affordable. I have worked with them before and I received the service I expected. Most of the booking process is done on line and through email which is great because it is fast and easy. Some how not all of my information was passed on to my DJ. He was not told to wear a costume. And I was told he would be dress in a collared shirt and tie not a polo. But, that was fine. If you just want music and a couple of light go for it.

Great company - great DJ - great experience. They will be as involved or as invisible as you would like them to be. They were great in just helping move things along and worked well with our crowd and the types of music we selected. Professional and friendly - all our guests had a great time!

Denon and Doyle were wonderful upfront, getting details and music planned and making sure that my style and vision was discussed. During the day of my wedding they provided music for the ceremony which was just perfect. The DJ kept to my tastes during the reception as well, my only compliant is that no one could hear or understand her during the reception. People said they missed the cake cutting and other things because they never heard or couldn't understand what was happening.

I had a good experience with them at other weddings, but probably because I did not have to work with them directly. Planning the songs with the DJ I had was difficult. I am not as familiar with songs that I don't hear as often on the radio, and so I cannot easily name a song or an artist. Plus, I have a hard time remembering who sang what and what was even sang in the song. So you see, I am off to a bad start, and was relying on my DJ for recommendations and ideas. I met with my DJ prior to my wedding, and the meeting was pretty awful. I asked for ideas for songs, and I didn't want the same songs my friends (who recently got married) had at their event. Do you really want a repeat of the last 2-3 weddings? I told my DJ that I wasn't sure what song I wanted, but I know I didn't want the same songs as my friends. He offered 2-3 songs, which I didn't like and asked for more. He said he doesn't know and I had to look for songs myself. Then we were discussing games during the wedding. Again, I said I wanted some new game ideas that weren't at my friends' weddings. He discussed some games, which were exactly what were at my friends' weddings. I asked for variations and other games. He wasn't too thrilled with my requests because he sternly said, "I don't have any other ideas." For a DJ who claimed to be working for so many years with a company that has so many other DJ's, how can there not be different game ideas??? We left the meeting not really accomplishing much. I went online myself to gather more game ideas and to search on iTunes for more wedding songs that can be played at my wedding. Without more input from my DJ, I emailed him with my ideas for him to incorporate into the day. For the large amount of money I had to pay this company, I felt like they should've gave me some discount for all the work I did! For this experience, I'm not recommending this company!

Leading up to the event, communication went well, but the night of, I had to tell our DJ, several times to stick to our custom list and he didn't listen to me. It was very frustrating. If you want to stick to your own list of songs, I wouldn't recommend this company.

D&D DJ'd a friend's wedding and I thought they did a decent job, so when it came time to choose for my wedding, I thought why not, I have seen what they do. During the planning phase, they were very helpful in answering questions and providing recommendations. I spoke with, I believe, Mark a few days before our wedding to make sure everything was in order. I had provided my own complete list of songs for the special dances as well as the dinner and dancing music. We got to our reception and I spoke briefly with the DJ and everything appeared to be in order. UNTIL, we were announced, walked across the floor to do our 1st dance and waited...and waited. The DJ had broken our 1st dance CD (it was a unique song that was shortened just for us). Weird that he hadn't checked it or brought a back up. My brother in law went to my house to get my iPod to try to fix the situation, but that did not work. Finally, after everyone was actually finished eating and sitting around (2 hours later), another DJ brought another disc so we were able to do our 1st dance song. I was obviously very caught up in the moment of things and it did not dawn on me until after our night was over that:1. The DJ did not play a SINGLE song off of the list of dinner and dancing songs I had provided. 2. Nor did he play the mother son song. In addition, someone made a request and he actually told them he wasn't taking requests because he already screwed up, so why bother. When I emailed to discuss what had happened with the company, after a few e mail exchanges where I was trying to get to the root of what happened and why. I guess my tone was deemed inappropriate, who wouldn't be a little upset in this situation? The owner said some not very professional things and BLOCKED my email address and they would not take our calls. They did refund ALL of our $, but to be honest, some things go beyond $. Now, I say this, as there are so many companies to choose from, why pick one that handles a situation like this. I am sure this was a fluke, but this is a day that I can not get back and the music was truly one of the most important parts to me or should have been.

The open house was very engaging. We hired Niall, or thought we were. However, the way this company is set-up you don’t actually do any of the music planning with your DJ. We met with a coordinator who put together the music that the DJ would play. The problem with this is that the DJ basically gets a template that may or may not work with your live event. There was a disconnect in the communication around the bouquet toss song and the last dance song. I found the format of using a coordinator to relay the information to the DJ ineffective.

Denon and Doyle is not worth the money.

FI and I went to their showcase and were very impressed, so we decided to book them on the spot even though they were much more expensive than any other place we had looked at. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with their service on our wedding day. Our supposed MC made no announcements. As much as they kept hyping that the DJ would be able to work with any crowd, our DJ could not quite manage that. Several times we noticed everyone would be on the dance floor having a great time, then the DJ would completely change the style of music, and everyone would walk off the dance floor. Other problems: our guests mentioned that they put in requests for the DJ, but the songs were never played; we heard a bit of the Wedding March during our reception intro (that was not our requested song!); the first dance song started playing while our cake was still in the middle of the dance floor; and several times, they turned the mic up too loud so that it made that awful screeching sound, which startled everyone. Our DJs seemed inexperienced and were not coordinated.

This is the one vendor that we thought we would have no problems with, but they turned out to be the only vendor that disappointed us.

Completely overpriced! Don't buy the hype about all DJs being flexible and open to whatever the clients want. We were not very demanding, but they still managed to get everything wrong.

Well this is what I get for going with a DJ company. I thought it would be fine, I met with a DJ that wasn't who I ended up with at the wedding. No requests were played, he was off in his own little world playing whatever and didn' try t o coordinate the wedding at all! We filled out their survey and added songs we wanted to hear... didn't hear them though- at least he got the first dance right. i think it would have been better if I interviewed the DJ's and picked one instead of just getting one assigned to me. The kid tried his best I guess but I could have gotten my cousin to do the same thing he did.
