After listening to & interviewing several bands, we hired the Desert Brew Band for our son's wedding in Las Vegas, NV & are so happy we did. Not only did we get a fabulous band but also found a band who has a member that is a wedding consultant. This made our wedding so personal as they were so attentive to our needs. They were able to choose the perfect music for a wedding & even added some special requests. Such great sound & vocals & fun personalities! They were able to bring young & old to the dance floor. The dance floor was packed all night & all of our guests complimented us on what a wonderful, fun time they had. A wedding takes so much planning & is a time when one hopes all will go perfectly. The Desert Brew Band definitely played a big part in making our son's wedding a huge success! If you're looking for a band who appeals to all ages, & will accommodate your needs, then the Desert Brew Band is the band for you!

Desert Brew Band's interactive style and their excellent musicianship are a perfect combination! They are a top notch band with seasoned players. Desert Brew Band offers a dynamic, ever-evolving sound that can really bring the good vibes to any event! Their recipe includes a landscape of natural, infectious, groove-oriented music.....weaving the best American styles of Classic Rock n Roll, Country, 70's & 80's Rock, Top 40, and Pop music. Whatever the venue, Desert Brew Band delivers. The Desert Brew Band have great character and sound. This band's goal is to create a "happy and uplifting environment - a place where the audience can have fun, feel free, and be themselves". For the best in "feel-good music", pass the word on Desert Brew Band is the band for your event!

About Desert Brew Band

"Desert Brew Band" is a five-member group which has been together for twelve years, playing a variety of venues: private parties weddings, and events. We have entertained all over the valley and surrounding areas. Most recently, we were honored to be chosen to open at the Scottsdale Performing Arts for a special event! We play cover tunes that made the charts, to tempt any age group to get up on the dance floor. We choose upbeat, danceable music, creating a mood for the guests to feel relaxed and able to interact with the band. We have professional equipment, professional look, and we are known for our vocals, and harmony. We feel we are a perfect wedding band because of the versatility of our music. Our goal is always to consider the crowd and give them what they want, and also work with the Bride and Groom to make it a very personal occasion for them. It should be a day that everyone will talk about for years to come! Call us, and together we can make it happen!

Do you have liability insurance?

What is your band's usual attire?

We dress for the event...casual, formal. It is always something we ask about before the event happens.

Do you offer live sample performances or CDs?

We offer music clips and playlist on our formal website

Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently know?

It depends on the song. Sometimes a cd will be the answer, for special songs. We are happy to accomodate.

How much time do you usually need for setup?

1 1/2 to 2 hrs.

How much space do you usually require?

Enough room for five musicians, along with instruments, and equipment.

Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?

Yes

What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?

Light show, fog

Do you usually emcee the event, or talk between songs?

We are happy to make announcements, follow a format and work with our clients to make the occasion personal.

How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?

We would ask what kind of music they would like to hear...slow, fast, country, rock

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you need a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

We normally take a short break after 1 hour of music, and we do not require meal breaks. If a meal is offered, it is gratefully accepted!

Do you play recorded music during your break?

Yes, we discuss this music with our client, before the event. Some like line dances, funky music,dinner music, or whatever

If one or more of the band members is unable to attend, what is your backup plan?

We have never had an issue with this in 11 yrs. We have friendships with other musicians, and we could add others to our group if necessary.

What is your overtime rate?

We really have never had to incorporate this.Once we are all set up, we don't mind adding a little extra time, within reason, of course.

Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?

Only if it is outside Phoenix and surrounding areas. We would add a minimal amount to accomodate gas, lodging

What is the required deposit to secure your services?

normally $250.00 at the time of booking.

A Most certainly. One of our band members was a wedding consultant, and understands what needs to be done

A. CD's can be provided, for special Father/Bride dances, etc. Plus the band has music CDs to cover any break time
