Julie played a huge role in making our wedding so spectacular! She really took our image and created exactly what we pictured in our heads. We had Julie do uplighting and draperies around the whole perimeter of a tent, it turned out better than we could have imagined. She also helped us display our travel theme throughout the whole venue. She was so easy to work with and truly wanted to make our wedding everything we wanted and more. You need someone like this for your wedding!

I am so thankful I found Julie! Her and her team definitely "made" the event! From lighting and centerpieces, to ceremony decor and a gorgeous archway, her team gave me the exact look I had in mind for my "Winter Wonderland." She was a blast to work with; and even with a venue change, and last minute order changes, I couldn't be happier with the services from Design Diva!

The Design Diva does amazing work. Julie is so crafty and can come up with unique pieces to help make your event stand out from the norm. She did awesome non-floral centerpieces for us. I didn't want to do the standard flower centerpieces, just because they are used a lot and they are more costly. Also, Julie provided an arch for our ceremony and cute accent pieces for tables. I cannot say her responsiveness was the best. We did almost all of our communication through email and I think sometimes her replies took longer than expected...sometimes a week or over. Other than that though, she was easy to work with and certainly provides!

Julie at Design Diva was so friendly and easy to work with. I didn't really know exactly what I wanted for my reception decor, but I knew I wanted a few touches of color (we were married at Stone Manor Country Club and our reception was in the tent). Julie had tons of ideas and helped me decide on uplighting and some drapery. She did a great job on the day of the wedding, I loved what I saw when I walked into my reception. Thank you, Julie!

Design Diva provided great lighting services for our wedding. She was able to design exactly what we wanted and was flexible with the color change we really wanted between dinner and the dancing portion of our reception. I'm not sure if her prices were great compared to other lighting services, but she was great so we booked her and I would definitely recommend!

We found Design Diva just two weeks prior to the wedding. The reception venue needed some TLC and we were unsure what to do. With just a few pictures of the venue, Design Diva quickly provided us with several well thought out suggestions. We finalized the details with about a week left. In the end, it was exactly what was needed, was reasonably priced and professionally done. We highly recommend Design Diva for your decorating needs!

Julie provided uplights and drapes for our wedding reception! She was so easy to work with and was very patient throughout the entire process. We wanted to use a cheaper material for the drapes, and originally the color blue we wanted was not available in the cheaper material, so we settled for something else, however shortly after we met with her she emailed me to let me know she was able to find the color we wanted! It was perfect! The tent looked like a ballroom with the uplights and draping she provided...it helped to give our reception the elegant, fun atmosphere we were going for! We would highly recommend using Julie if you want to decorate/enhance your wedding reception area!

I came to Julie looking for lighting for a plain white tent and to recreate an altar look I had seen in a magazine. The lighting under the tent was fine, though with 20/20 hindsight vision, I would have made a few adjustments to the specific uplighting color and the number of lights. Perhaps she might have provided a bit more guidance as to what would look best under this particular tent, as she has been to this venue many times. That said, she delivered on exactly what we contracted for as far as lighting goes. The look she created for the altar was beautiful and was just as I imagined it would be.

In February I met Julie, the Design Diva to see if she could work on our May wedding. I described a design concept I had in mind for my chuppah and the backlighting of the reception area, pergola, dance floor and the cake. She seems very much the creative type and can be a little intense and I would not give her top honors on her responsiveness or fast communication because she was a little hard to get ahold of (you know those creative types) but she did not forget a thing and my goodness, did she deliver! The chuppah was EXACTLY like I had been dreaming it and so was all the backlighting. I would highly recommend her to anyone for any event. Just be patient, she will come through and you will not be disappointed!

Julie is truly the Design Diva! I had planned for an outdoor wedding and we mapped out the decor only to arrive at a rainy, freezing cold wedding day. I sent an email to Julie a few days before about coming up with a Plan B emergency concept. I was devastated about the rain...until I walked into the venue and saw the amazingly gorgeous set-up Julie came up with. It was breathtaking! My guests were blown away!! I am still getting compliments on how gorgeous it was. Julie came through and made my day the perfect day it was. DesignDiva is the best!

Jules, the Design Diva, does wonderful work! The decor at our wedding looked AMAZING. So many people have complimented us on the ceremony space, the specially-made runner, the overhead fabric draping -it was all perfect! She accommodated my every request, and provided great customer service throughout the planning period.

Julie created a centerpiece for a our escort card table and she did the uplighting for our event. Both services were incredible. The lighting made such an impact on the mood of the reception. Our families and friends cheered as the lighting color changed. Our friends pics looked amazing. I'm so happy that we decided to have uplighting and I'm even happier that we chose The Design Diva. The lighting exceeded our expectations.

Design Diva provided uplighting and centerpieces for my wedding reception. The uplighting was exactly what I wanted and really added to the look of the ballroom. I rented the candelabra centerpieces and they looked amazing. I recieved many compliments on the centerpieces. As well Julie at Design Diva worked with me, providing many different options/ideas for the centerpieces. Emailing me pictures of all the options when I was not able to travel to her location. As well, Julie was very accomodating to all of my requests. I made many changes all the way up to days before my wedding and Julie was able to take care of everything. AMAZING SERVICE!!

Julie did a great job with my wedding. She was open to all of my ideas and worked with my price range perfectly! Her designs are a great value and perfect alternative to using fresh flower centerpieces. Her lighting set the stage for a reception that was both elegant and fun. The only reason that I didn't give her a perfect score was because she was late to 1 appointment, but it wasn't a big deal.

Julie Redmond of Design Diva has an impeccable flair for design that can be sophisticated yet playful and fresh. She is incredibly easy to work with and has a warm personality that makes you instantly feel comfortable.

Julie and I met twice. During our first meeting I shared with her decor ideas that were barely clear to me. However, she was very responsive and drew design options so I could have a better idea of what I was talking about and to see if it fit with my mental image. During our second meeting, I came in with completely different ideas, modified the color scheme, added décor concepts and accessories. Julie was so gracious and genuinely excited to work on these new ideas, despite the fact that it meant we were starting from scratch. She quickly drew sketches that were better than what I had imagined. I walked away from that meeting feeling relaxed and knowing that I would love whatever she finally created.

On the day of the wedding, I was astonished at how beautiful the colors, lighting, fabric arch, backdrops, and canopy with crystal strands were and how seamlessly it presented our two religious ceremonies and reception. Julie went out of her way to learn about the religious ceremony she was unfamiliar with to create a design that maintained our theme while respecting the institution – a gesture that demonstrates her professionalism.

Julie, the "Design Diva," provided beautiful lanterns as centerpieces for my daughter's wedding. She was so professional and went the extra mile to help my daughter's vision become a reality. She provides exceptional service, was extremely flexible, and the lanterns were a great value.

Design Divas was so helpful in helping us choose the right pink shades for our lights that were provided in the tent during our reception. We had the lights rotate 2 different shades of pink throughout the tent. It was perfect and really showed at night! We were so pleased and our guests loved them too! It was also nice that they were battery operated so we did not have to deal with any cords on the floor and in the way. Julie was great to work with and we were so pleased.

I used Design Diva for my wedding at Stone Manor to make the reception tent more unique. Julie and her staff did such an amazing job on dressing up the tent! The uplighting really made the tent have an intimate feeling and the small uplights on the cake really made it a focal point at the wedding! The custom backdrop behind the sweetheart table coplete with hanging votive candles and fabric was absoltuely breath taking! Everyone loved it! Julie also set up laterns with candles that lead the way from the cocktail hour to the recpetion area, which was so pretty at night! Julie was so easy to work with! She has a lot of creative ideas and was vrey dependable! I would highly recommend her services to you for your special event!

Julie at Design Diva created a storybook atmosphere for my daughter's wedding reception in the Meadow at Ceresville Mansion. When we first met a year ago she took my daughter's and my ideas, added her own creative ideas and her expertise. Over the months she was flexible as plans evolved. Everytime I had a moment of anxiety, which was often, Julie assured me that everything would be perfect and it was!! I asked her to do things out of her normal scope of work and she did it beautifully. I couldn't ask for more from an event designer and I highly recommend Design Diva. She may even have had something to do with the perfect weather that evening!!

Design Diva was great to work with! They were patient and helped me find what I was looking for in decorations. They offered a lot of wonderful suggestions and incorporated my ideas as well. They came out to my reception site, brought tons of samples, and on the day of my wedding they totally transformed a boring hall into an exciting space! Everyone had nothing but wonderful things to say about how the hall was decorated and the family members who helped me set-up before hand were amazed at what Design Diva's did! Julie from Design Diva did a FABULOUS job in adding that extra bit to make my wedding absolutely beautiful. I asked her to do some fabric draping in the front area of my church, as well as provide some uplighting, and her work transformed my church's rather plain sanctuary into a beautiful setting to have my wedding. She also was able to provide some lighting and draping at my reception that really made the atmosphere warm and inviting for all our guests. Julie is so professional and a pleasure to work with. I didn't have to worry about a single thing. Her prices are very reasonable! I whole heartedly recommend her for your event!!

Design Diva did our lighting, wall coverings, and lanterns. The results were fantastic! She had many great ideas, but was also open to all our ideas - very easy to work with. Her lighting is really cool - she uses wireless LED lights that can change to any color, at any time. We had a tent outside of our reception venue, and Design Diva suggested we use small shepherd hooks with mini LED lights to light a path to the tent - looked wonderful! The venue we rented was very plain looking by itself, but with lanterns hung from the ceiling, linen covering the walls, and the LED lights, you could barely recognize it was the same room. On top of the great job she did for us, Design Diva was very reasonable in price. Thank you, Design Diva, for making our wedding perfect!

I used Design Diva for the lighting at my reception at the Ceresville Mansion. The lights looked amazing and Julie was so great. She always responded to my questions so quickly and was super flexible. She helped me to choose my lighting colors and was even willing to come to the reception to make sure that the lights changed from one color to the next right as the first dance with my husband was starting. I would definitely reccomend her!

Julie with Design Diva did an outstanding job decorating the inside and outside of our church. All of our guests who attend our church were amazed by the way she transformed the sanctuary and the photographer was able to use many of her designs in to be creative in the pictures.
