I already had my eye on this florist from my own research and coincidentally was referred to her by a co-worker of mine. Gina was awesome and I really enjoyed my interactions with her. Let me note, that I, too was not very particular about the "type" of flowers but I was particular about the colors. I did not have a large budget for flowers and she really worked within my budget while really giving me the feeling that she caught my vision. She was able to deliver the ceremonial arrangements and bridal party flowers earlier than she expectd, for me, and even pinned them on the men as well. I just can't say enough about Gina and can assure that as long as you are specific with her, then you will get what you want. She took notes whenever we met and I know she referred to them often. I even asked her what she was thinking of using for the arrangements and bouquets and she listed several diff options that she thought would look well and also be in season at the time. I looked up the flowers when she emailed me the names so I was not surprised at all on my wedding day. The only thing I was particular about was MY bouquet and I got the bouquet I wanted, and I loved it! I was really happy with her work. I even kept one of the centerpieces in my living room for about 1.5 wks. You do get what you pay for, as with anything else, but I was impressed by what she did to make the most of what I could afford. Thank you Gina!

I hired this florist for my wedding in 2005. I didn't want to spend too much on flowers, I just wanted some simple arrangements with pale pink and white roses. I thought we understood each other after we met, but when I saw my flowers on the day of my wedding, I was pretty disappointed.
First of all, the bouquets were tiny. So much so, that I thought they belonged to some other wedding. And I said I didn't want any hot pink, but there they were, hot pink flowers in all my bridesmaids bouquets. I also said I wanted calla lilies...none to be found in any of the arrangements.
And to top it off, she didn't even deliver the flowers, she sent some teenage girls that I had never even met, so I didn't feel I could even complain to them.
Overall, my guests didn't notice anything, so in that sense, the flowers were fine. Just not what I had imagined. I guess you get what you pay for...cheap flowers=cheap looking arrangements.

I did not care so much about flowers and didn't want to spend much money on something that would wilt after the day. I also wanted simple arrangements that are stylish but need as few flowers as possible. Then I saw a photo of a centerpiece by Gina from Lotus's vendor review on wedding channal. That ended up to be my centerpiece as well.
Like: I set a very small flower budget and Gina was willing to work with it. She also gave me a lot of ideas and suggestions at our meeting and after the meeting via emails. She helped decorate the cake table on the day, which should have been the caterer's job. I really like her altitude and personality.
Dislike: I was quite disappointed when I saw my bouquet. I asked for pink callas lily (I showed her a photo of a dark pink callas), but the callas in my bouquet were more like pale purple and there weren't many of them. It really wasn't the color I wanted, and the bouquet was only slightly bigger than my MOH's. Gina later explained to me that it was hard to get the exact color of callas I wanted. I still think she could have got a better color though.
She also forgot to give me the complimentary bouquet for tossing, which was not a big problem for me since I decided not to do a bouquet toss, but could be a big problem for others.
Also I mentioned to her that I didn't like roses, but they still appeared in my ceremony and head table arrangements. I probably should have been more specific and told her not to use roses at all.
