Tricia is an amazing florist. I only had a general idea of what I wanted for flowers and Tricia had such amazing designs and a extensive portfolio that I was able to narrow down what I wanted for my flowers. Everyone said that they had never seen such beautiful arrangements and were in love with my centerpieces. Not only is Tricia extremely talented but she is also someone that is extremely great to work with. She makes herself available always and as a busy bride that is so important and she is a fun, happy person. I have no hesitation recommending Tricia and you will not be disappointed with her work ethic and service.

Tricia is FABULOUS! Working with her was a breeze, and a ton of fun. She made our flowers and decor even more beautiful than I could have even imagined. I really appreciated, too, that she was willing to work with us on a very limited budget. We ended up actually being under-budget! She is very talented, creative, and professional. I can’t say enough about the beautiful flowers Tricia created for my daughter’s wedding. From the gorgeous bouquets, to the arbor, the rhinestone accented black boxes with cherry blossom and crystal decorated Manzanita trees, the cake and we cannot leave out the absolutely fabulous centerpieces. The lit from within vase were talked about for days. From the moment we all met with Tricia we knew she was the one to bring to life the fairytale wedding my daughter envisioned.

Our flower arrangements by Tricia turned out BEAUTIFUL! When you meet with Tricia, you'll feel like you've known her for years. She's very talented, professional, and personable! She really listened to what I had in mind and helped put together a fantastic design for my wedding day! The flowers were truly stunning. Thank you Tricia!

Tricia was so incredible to work with. She was very friendly and invited me over to meet with her right after I contacted her. She had multiple photo books to look through of examples of her past work, which really gave me confidence in her. I'm not a very creative person myself, but Tricia helped me create the vision I had always dreamed about for my wedding. She has such an amazing eye for colors and details and flower types! She also knows flowers which flowers are cheaper than others (but are still beautiful), which really helped me stay within my budget. We even made some last minute changes to the flowers a week before the wedding, and everything turned out beautifully. It was a picture perfect day, and I couldn't have done it without Tricia. Everyone commented to me after my wedding how beautiful it was. My mom saved the flowers until they were dying/wilted because she loved them so much! Tricia was wonderful! She did the flowers for my daughter's wedding at The Center Club. We knew nothing about flowers or what exactly we wanted for the reception and ceremony. All it took was one visit to Tricia's home for a consultation and I knew we were in good hands. We knew what colors we wanted but basically just listened to Tricia give suggestions, choices, and ideas. She was able to show us photo after photo of what she was talking about. She is excellent at getting back to you with everything during the entire process.

Tricia is a very professional, up beat, great persaonality, loves her job and takes pride in her flowers. It really shows in the arrangements she made for our outdoor wedding in sunny Orange county, California. I loved her work and she made my decision really easy. If you are trying to find the perfect florist look no further... Tricia is beyond amazing!!! She made my wedding look like a fairytale! Her work is mere perfection. She knows her flowers and which ones complement the other. When I needed ideas, she was full of them! Tricia also has several pictures available from the weddings she has done! These photos were great to see because not only did they give me ideas but also demonstrated what a talented florist Tricia is. Her line of communication was excellent as well! I am the Mother of the Bride. Tricia Barr was not only our florist but our excellent friend throughout the entire wedding planning. There was no advice, love or assistance she did not willing give to make my daughter's event a dream come true. And this was tricky because I am in Alaska and the bride-to-be was in Utah. The first time I got to meet our beautiful Tricia was on the day of the wedding while she was delivering the bouquet, boutonierres, table decorations, beach chair florals and everything to three different locations.

And she does it with such elan. That is French for an easy elegance.

The flowers were perfect.

She was a friend when I needed it.

She even helped me pick out my shoes and encourage me to get glammed up with hair and make-up on the wedding day.

She is beyond the best. Anyone would be so lucky to have Tricia design the flowers because she has taste and she is dependable and she is easy to talk to and I totally love this woman.

I could talk for days about how incredibly amazing my entire experience with Tricia was and continues to be. I had very little time to plan my wedding and had NO idea what I wanted but after the first meeting everything just fell into place. Her work is incredibly beautiful and she will work with you with what style/theme you want to incorporate into your wedding. What really mattered the most was her honesty. She was the first person I had a consultation with and she suggested that I look for other vendors if she wasn't exactly what I wanted for my wedding day flowers. I couldn't have appreciated that more. The flowers were so wonderful I had guests tell me how beautiful everything was.

Tricia was great on all fronts. She provided us with great ideas, options specific to colors, and stayed within my price range. The best thing was her communication (on top of her beautiful creations) - she was constantly updating my specifics whenever we made a change on the phone, via e-mail, or in a meeting. I was married on October 3, 2009 at Aliso Creek in Laguna Beach California. Tricia was an absolutely amazing florist and person! I would highly recommend her to any bride without a doubt. My wedding was taupe and fuchsia and her flowers truly made the wedding! She simply does amazing work and all the flowers were gorgeous! As an added bonus she is great person and so much fun to interact with! Hands down the best vendor and florists!

We loved working with Tricia. She always made time to speak with me on the phone to go over all the details of the flowers. It sometimes can be difficult getting married in a location that you don't live and Tricia made this process seemless. We talk many times on the phone and made changes to the flowers up until the last month and she was always helpful with ideas and sharing photos of things she had done. The quality of the flowers was amazing more that I dreamed of. I could not believe how beautiful it all turned out. Tricia was AMAZING! She was laidback and professional. I never once felt rushed to make a decision or pressured to do a design/color/layout that I didn't love. When I showed up at the reception site (we did not have flowers in the church) I fell in love. Everything was absolutely perfect from the cocktail room, to the dining room, and even to the bathroom where she had laid out orchids with bobby pins with a sign telling the ladies to add one to their hair. It was wonderful and perfect and I could not recommend a more dedicated, passionate, flexible, and high quality florist than Tricia Barr.

My bouquet and centerpieces were so beautiful and worth every penny! Tricia's creativity and attention to detail are outstanding. She was fun to work with and has wonderful ideas. My guests are still talking about how gorgeous my flowers were! My photographer even said my bouquet was the best he has ever seen.

If we were able to rate Tricia on a scale from one to ten Tricia would be a ten. In our initial meeting with Tricia we reviewed photos of ideas and shared our theme. Tricia spent so much time with us showing us different ideas and floral varieties from her portfolio. She was also able to show us fresh flowers that are out of the ordinary. In the end her designs and floral suggestions far exceeded our expectations. She collects information from you and with her magical sense of intuitiveness and creativity customizes the designs and floral selections to match the overall theme and personalities of the bride and groom. Amazing talent. Her prices are incredibly reasonable, Tricia ensures nothing is left out and wonderful to work with. She is incredibly busy but, you always feel your needs are a priority from start to finish. The compliments on the arrangements were non stop and it's great we can continue to enjoy them through the photos forever. The arrangements that we took home to enjoy lasted weeks and the fragrance was wonderful.

I gave Tricia a 5 out of 5 rating because the flowers turned out AMAZING! They were everything I imagined and more. My bridal bouquet was the most beautiful bouquet I have ever seen. Tricia created exactly what I envisioned for my wedding day and I love the way my bouquet photographed. All the flowers where perfect from the church arrangements to the bridesmaids bouquets to the reception centerpieces. She totally nailed down the Old California Romantic feel that I was seeking and she helped elevate my wedding look to the next level!

Everyone has commented on how beautiful, elegant and sophisticated the flowers were. Tricia was also very professional and flexible throughout the whole process. I must have changed my mind a million times but she always rolled with the punches and just made it happen. Working with Designs by Tricia was one of the best parts of planning our wedding. She's friendly and accessible: she is most definitely NOT one of those snooty wedding vendors. Tricia is very talented and wonderfully creative and she truly listened to what I wanted and didn't want and designed the floral decor within those guidelines. She was also consistently cost-conscious with me which I really appreciated; notifying me immediately if the changes I asked for would affect the cost in any way.

Tricia was very easy to work with and I felt comfortable with her the firts time I met her. She invited my mom and I to her home to meet with her, discuss my ideas and visions and shared a ton of suggestions and had so much great input that I would have never even thought of. As a past bride who hired Tricia, and a wedding photographer, I know how important flowers are to the wedding day. Every wedding I photograph that Tricia does flowers for, I overhear the guests talking about how amazing, creative, and unique her creations are. The level of service Trica offers is like nothing I have ever encountered in any other florist, and believe me, I've seen a lot of them. She takes incredible pride in her work, and TRULY CARES about making her clients' visions come to life. On several occasions before my wedding, I spent 2-3 hours at Tricia's house, sifting through magazine clippings of flowers, and trying to come up with a single vision for my wedding. Tricia helped me come up with a theme that was even cooler & more unique that I thought possible for my budget, and was more than happy to share her knowledge & ideas (which flowers are expensive, more likely to be available at the flower mart, etc). You truly get what you pay for when it comes to wedding flowers. If you hire Tricia, you're sure to receive superior quality both in the actual flowers, and service.

Personally, I highly doubt there is a more personable, easy-going, stylish and caring florist in Southern California. I also highly doubt there is a florist that uses such high quality flowers, and design, for such a great price...

I was probably her most indecisive bride (changing flowers, colors, ect over 6 months, right up until the week before the wedding!!!), and I was unable to describe exactly what it was I wanted- but sure enough, come the day of my wedding, I discovered she knew exactly what I was looking for and I will never, ever forget my reaction when I saw them. Pure joy.

Of all the wonderful things at my wedding, it was my flowers that received the most compliments...and for that, I only have Tricia to thank.

Any bride that is looking for an honest, dependable, fair, and creative florist look no further. Trisha is the best around. She will go to any lengths to accomodate you and make sure you are happy. She went above and beyond my expectations. The first tears that i shed on the day of my wedding was when my bridesmaids and I were walking into the venue to finish getting ready and I saw the beautiful arch that Trisha was decorating. It was so beautiful it took my breath away. It even started to rain on her for a few minutes but she stayed out there and got it done. The sun shined on it perfectly as my husband and I said our vows under it. I have referred all of my friends to Trisha without hesitation. Dont even bother shopping around for a better florist. Its just a waste of time, you wont find anyone that has better quality or value. And thats not even mentioning how nice she is :)

Trish was amazing! She was incredibly easy to work with and was so patient with my many questions! I had no idea what my vision was, but Trish had so many beautiful pictures in her portfolio and I was able to find exactly what I wantedmake it work with my style!

Tricia was absolutely incredible. She took the time to meet with us and really get to know who we were and exactly what we wanted. She even went completely out of her way to find a company that could make these plaster molds for us that we just had to have. Then on the day of our wedding it was raining nonstop, so of course I was bummed. But the second I walked into the reception area and saw what Tricia had done, I forgot all about the rain. She completely blew our expectations out of the water. I suggest her to everyone because she is truly the best!!!!!!

We had a terrific experience working with Tricia. We had a very lengthy consultation where she listened to all of my ideas and wants regarding flowers and offered suggestions on what would be best for the season and budget. When the ranunculus that we'd originally planned to have as centerpieces were too small, Tricia came up with the idea of having gorgeous tulips in the same colors and we and our guests loved them! On the day of our wedding, Tricia and her assistant were punctual and professional - and the flowers were drop-dead gorgeous. Our daisy, rose, and tulips bouquets were lovely, the daisy garland in the gazebo was beautiful, and the special touches - putting individual daisies in the hedges and rose cones, were wonderful. The only floral aspect that didn't work out were the bouts - the tiny tomasina daisies melted in the sun. Oh well! Overall, she was wonderful to work with and really stretched our (small) budget to the max!

Tricia did my wedding in October and she was absolutely amazing! I loved her. Two of my good friends had used her for their flowers and she came with high recommendations and lived up to absolutely every one of them! I loved her from the minute I met her when I went over to her house for the consult. She is extremely friendly and was able to help me transform my ideas into reality, and they actually turned out even better than I expected. Each of us that used Tricia were speechless and teary eyed when we saw how beautiful our flowers turned out. The time that she devotes into getting the freshest flowers was another thing I really admired. Tricia was wonderful! She was really flexible and helped us be able to do a lot with our set budget. She had great suggestions during our consulatation, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the end products. We got many compliments about our flowers. Tricia's arrangements for my wedding were beautiful. She used high quality flowers and even helped me pin the gardenia in my hair before the ceremony. I also told her in the very beginning that I didn't want to spend a lot and she was able to work within my budget, and even offered some suggestions for my centerpieces, which I wanted to do myself. She has some very creative techniques for making arrangements look unique and expensive, without the added cost. I was very happy with her services.

Tricia was really easy to work with and very attentive and willing to meet with us multiple times. The bridesmaids bouquets were not what we expected or the boutonnieres. Some hydrangea were the wrong color and the freesia were too long. The centerpieces were beautiful and we loved the flowers - the water color needed to match the flowers better. The altar pieces and cake table flowers were perfect except for the dark purple hydrangea.

I have worked with Tricia on several weddings, her flowers are stunning! Always the consumate professional, works with Brides who are on a budget without it looking like they were on a budget.
