Although our wedding cake was costly, we have received SO MANY compliments on how delicious the cake was and how beautiful it looked! I guess Dessert Deli was worth the money :)

Our cake was amazing! Dessert Deli did a phenomenal job and the service was excellent! The cake was so delicious and beautiful! We had so many compliments on it! I would also like to comment about the service. My fiance and I just walked into their store to look around and schedule an appointment. The cake consultant-Trish, met with us immediately even though she was waiting for another appointment. She took time to "fit us in" and sat down with us to create our cake! We were very impressed and knew that we would choose them! We highly recommend Dessert Deli!

They do great work! My cousin was making my cake and at the last moment needed help- Dessert Deli stepped up and got it done! :)

I cannot say enough good things about Dessert Deli. I have always loved their products, but did not have the budget to use them when I first got engaged. However, two weeks before my wedding, the bakery I was supposed to use closed down and left me cakeless. I spoke to the owner of Dessert Deli and she not only got a gorgeous, delicious cake for me, but she also advised me of their new line of affordable wedding cakes. I had no idea that they offered a less expensive option and in my situation the owner could have taken advantage of my desperation and shown me just their top end cakes. I wish I had worked with them from the beginning, but I so happy to be able to say my cake was made by them in the end. Do yourself a favor and use this baker. You'll get a beautiful, delicious cake and outstanding, dependable service!

We ordered wedding cupcakes from Dessert Deli for our wedding cake and they were delicious! They were vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream icing and lemon curd filling. The beauty of having cupcakes was that they stayed moist for days after the fact, unlike cake that can get dry edges soon after it is cut. My only complaint is that I provided Dessert Deli with a sample of my invitation to match the icing colors, and they didn't get the hot pink right - it was more like magenta. All things considered, the cupcakes were delicious and all of our guests enjoyed them thoroughly!

They made the grooms cake for our rehearsal dinner and it was perfect. We had a polar bear cake for our school mascot. It was scuplted and looked just like the polar bear model we brought in. I don't know anyone else in the buffalo area that could do this cake and it tasted great too!

Yum! Our guests raved about our cake - so many said it was the best wedding cake they've had! Now a weird thing about our wedding is that neither my hubby nor I eat cake - he doesn't like and it makes me sick so Dessert Deli worked with us to make a miniature version of our cake as a cheesecake! So cool! We had our real cake and then the little one. As far as the cheesecake goes - yum, yum, yum!

Dessert Deli did an unbelievable job on our Wedding cake. It was absolutely beautiful and was exactly was we envisioned. It not only looked good, but it tasted awesome, all our guests raved about it! This is the best choice for a cake for any occasion. The staff were very friendly and took there time to discuss the details of how we wanted our cake to look!!!

Our wedding cake from Dessert Deli was amazing! It looked fantastic, many guests actually thought it was fake until we cut into it. It looked so perfect. Many guests also said it was the best wedding cake they ever tasted. We had a yellow cake with a strawberry cream filling. It was very moist and flavorful. We had two minor issues with Dessert Deli. First, the circles on cake were supposed to have a pearlized luster and were matte instead. The second is more major, they were late getting to the reception venue and were still setting up the cake when the guests were arriving. It just looked a little unprofessional, but it was still definitely worth it.

AWESOME! There cake was excellent! I had red velvet and coconut cake, it was truly a slice of heaven! There service was amazing, they always called back once you left a message, and it was the best money I ever spent! They have assistants to help choose your cake style and they truly are interested in what you want rather than what is popular. LOVED THEM

Their cakes look absolutely AMAZING, however their prices are very high. They can make ANYTHING you want and the cakes will look like they came from a television cake decorating contest - I was so excited when I saw all their ideas and cakes on display. But I was disappointed when I saw that the prices were not what I hoped for. You will definitely pay for the best here, but you'll pay a high price.

Dessert Deli had the best tasting cake of the four places we considered. Additionally, the consultation with them was the best -their high level of knowledge made it so fun! Trish helped me design a cake that was totally off the wall and totally un-bride like! The only reason I gave them 2-1/2 stars for quality of service and value for cost was when I saw the cake for the first time the first thing I noticed was how poor the fondant work was. The fondant was all cracked; which means that it was allowed to dry out before it was laid on my cake. From my eye, it looked terrible! I would expect something like that from someone just starting out, not from Dessert Deli! I thought the fondant was so poor, but luckily for us, our guests were more blown away by the look and taste that they didn't notice! (either that or they didn't say so.)Anyway, like I said, I expected more from Dessert Deli. BUT beyond that I give them 5 stars for responsiveness, professionalism and flexibility. Their cakes taste amazing.

I'd recommend Dessert Deli to anyone. The cake is tasty, and we were very impressed with the staff's decorative abilities - they can create a look for just about any style preference. The cake we wanted was actually priced outside of our budget, and the staff agreed to reduce the diameter of each cake layer slightly - just enough to get the price down, but without compromising the look of the cake. We still had plenty of cake for our guests, and it looked and tasted wonderful!

Cake was beautiful and delicious. Did have a hard time coming up with a design for the cake as the cake designer got a little to crazy for my taste. A little on the pricey side but well worth it.

The customer service at Dessert Deli was amazing! We worked with Nicole. The cake was delicious! An added perk was the discount on additional bridal products- shower cake/cookies, etc. The cake was somewhat expensive for the size, but it was worth it!

Dessert Deli actually did not do a wedding cake for us, but they did make our cake for our engagement party. It was absolutely gorgeous (a large circular cake completely covered in daisies) and delicious. I would recommend the Dessert Deli to anyone.

My wedding cake was done by the dessert deli and it was amazing. The staff was so helpful in meeting my needs for the flavor of the cake and filling and I am still hearing people raving about how good the cake was! The only bad thing was that I had edible round beads on my cake and some of them had fallen off onto the bottom layer of the cake before I even cut it. Regardless it still looked beautiful and I think they did a great job!

This is probably the best cake I have ever had!! We chose a unique location for our reception and there were not many choices for cake vendors. So we decided to get a cake from the Dessert Deli, a location that we had frequented in college that had wonderful desserts and a huge selection of wedding cakes. Our reception was 150 miles from this location and the desert deli was concerned about transportation issues, but they worked with us to create a faux cake that acted as a center piece and provided 2 sheet cakes to serve to guests. The coordination of the cake cutting was a bit tricky but no one even noticed that the faux cake was not served, and we received rave reviews on the sheet cake. I would highly recommend this vendor to anyone!!
