Harpist, Margot Box
Beautiful instrument, long list of available music, friendly. Really added a lot to ceremony.
Margot went above our expectations in every aspect of her performance. Her music added to the elegance of our wedding and was enjoyed by all. I would highly recommend her to anyone that asks me. She did an outstanding job!
Margot did a fantastic job at our wedding. We communicated well and she did welcomed our 'vision' and did awesome! She arrived early and prepared. The music was flawless and beautiful - our guests raved and raved about her! She also traveled to our reception site to play during the cocktail hour which our guests also loved. She has a wide variety of music and makes everything sound fantastic! I would 100% recommend her!
A: The harp is generally loud enough to carry in most homes, churches, and public spaces. The harp on its own is never overpowering, which makes it perfect for background music.
Q: Can the harp be amplified if it is needed?
A: Yes! I have my own, portable sound system that beautifully amplifies the natural sound of the instrument without sacrificing quality in any way. And don’t worry, it won’t be overpowering…your guests will still be able to carry on a conversation!
Here are some situations where amplification may be a good idea:
» events with 100 or more guests in attendance
» exceptionally large rooms
» widespread outdoor locations
» any location where the sound needs to carry a long distance or in multiple rooms
