DFW Event Planning (Katie Robinson) was a godsend!!

We truly were a guest at our daughter's wedding and it was a pleasure to do business (although it hardly felt like we 'were doing business'!) with Katie. She added wonderful insight into a world where we absolutely had no experience and made it fun as well!! Our wedding went off without a hitch and our guests have not stopped raving about the wonderful time they had -- and we have Katie to thank for that!!

Katie, our planner and president of DFW, is more than a delight to work with and listens to exactly what you want. She is open minded to your suggestions, but is not afraid to tell you if it is a bad idea or she would not recommend doing it - after all she is the professional. We were living 4.5 hours away from Philadelphia, where our wedding was, and Katie made sure she was available for a long day of planning on Sundays. We would definitely recommend her services and would definitely use her again for any other event we are planning.

Katie does have a couple assistants but we met with her exclusively through-out the planning process - which I really appreciated for consistency and so I didn't waste time re-explaining details or "vision" - we only saw an assistant on the day of the wedding to help Katie. The details were executed correctly - in fact there were a couple surprises that fit perfectly - and we did stay on budget. She found the absolute best site that met exactly what we were hoping for (the top floor of the Loews hotel) and we also had really great invitations through etsy.com that were non-traditional and negotiated all aspects of the wedding so that there really wasn't anything we compromised on - Katie spelled-out how the budget would be split up so we went into the planning with no bad surprises.

Katie and her staff were excellent to work with. There wasn't one detail they didn't take care, I will suggest them to mynfriends and family. Thank you again!

Katie is the epitome of what Brides are looking for in a Planner. Calm, cool and collected. She can afford to play the game that way because of the extensive "pre-game" work she does with her Client AND all of the Event Professionals that round out the Team. All the while, having fun.

We played a massive Penn State Alumni wedding not too long ago... The wedding rocked... What I remember most though was that the party planner/co-coordinator and her team surprised the bride and groom with ice cream from the Penn State Cremery. I thought to myself when I saw it.. Who does that....? My band does.. plenty of little things... big things... finishing touches... It wasn't a cheap surprise... that didn't matter.. it put the wedding over the top... When I called to thank her the next day because working with her was awesome....... Katie was at the after wedding brunch... making sure everything was still perfect.... I think most people can take care of the obvious big things... Its someone that can take care of all the little things without micro managing and event (which drives all those in their path crazy) that can make all the difference. Katie and her team at DFW are some of the nicest and caring people that I have come across in this industry and Bigg Romeo looks forward to working with them again.
