Di's Delights

I went to Diana with a vision for my dream wedding cake - and she made it a reality! The cake was more than I could have imagined; and I received so many compliments. Not only did it look beautiful, it tasted incredible. I chose from a number of different flavors for different layers including: strawberry shortcake, lemon cake, and oreo cake. Diana met with my husband and I months before the wedding for a tasting where she made so many different unique flavors - it was so hard to choose! I'm so happy that Di's Delights made our day so special.

My wedding cake turned out to be amazing and tasted great! It turned out better than I imagined it! Di listened to every detail and nailed it!

My husband and I met Di at a wedding show. We tasted a few of her mini cupcakes and LOVED them! Di was then recommended to us by our wedding coordinator. They have worked together for many years. We met with Di in her shop for a tasting. The shop does not look like much from the outside but do not judge a book by it's cover. I had provided Di with several options of what we wanted to try and brought a picture of what we wanted our cake to look like. Every taste was better than the last. Her cakes are delicious! We chose 3 different layers and a half sheet cake to cover any extras. We also chose to have a bottom layer of decorated styrofoam to make the cake look even more grand. When we discussed price, she was more affordable than any of the chain grocery stores and her cakes tasted better. We were quite happy. She delivered the cake on time and did not charge for delivery. When we arrived at the recpetion, the cake was setup but looked nothing like the picture I provided. It was supposed to be white buttercream with 4 square layers. Each layer was supposed to have different shades or blue waves piped on the edges. The cake was 4 square layers but was blue with a different blue for the waves. When we cut into it, chunks of icing fell off, but....it tasted great! I did not taste the icing part but later hear that it was fondant which I expressly said I did not want. I cannot confirm this part since I did not personally taste it, but I can say that it did not appear to be buttercream since it crumbled. Overall, we were still very happy with Di. She will provide us a free anniversary cake for our 1 year so we did not have to save the top layer. The cake was delicious and afforable. I was just disappointed that it did not look like the picture I provided.

We also chose to have several dozen mini cupcakes. They were perfect but probably unneccessary simply because the cake would have been enough. They also didn't look nice setup next to the cake since they did not match. But that has NOTHING to do with Di, just my personal opinion.

She is a wonderful lady and did an amazing job! Our cake was delicious and the price is outstanding! She really does care and helped us out with different ideas throughout the wedding.

Our wedding cake form Diana was so perfect. I didn't want anything fancy, just a white cake with simple decoration that was elegant. More importantly, we wanted a cake that tasted good, and Di's cakes do not disappoint! We had a white chocolate cake with a key lime filling (which is a flavor that some bakeries won't even do) Di invited us into her home for our first cake tasting, and after trying so many different kinds we were certain to choose her, without trying any other bakeries. Her prices are the best you will find in the area, probably because she is self taught and does all of the work herself.
We also had a chocolate grooms cake which was equally delicious.
I would definitely recommend Di's Delight's to any bride and groom.

My cake from Di's was pure AWESOMENESS!!!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED MY CAKE!!!! BEST I'VE EVER SEEN! Not only was it cake i've ever seen, it was also VERY YUMMY! i can't wait for my one year anniversary to eat some more!!! And Di was so sweet and nice and easy to work with. BEST WEDDING CAKE EVER!! We got a three tier cake with a different flavor on each tier and she made our cake just as beautiful as the picture we gave her. We are also getting a free top tier size cake for our 1 year anniversary. We recommend Di's Delights every chance we get. Try the champagne and strawberries flavor!!

I planned a wedding from out of town and Di's Delights was recommended to me by my wedding consultant. I planned everything over the phone and via e-mail. I was a little nervous not being able to taste the cake but it was definitely the right choice. The cake was absolutely beautiful and the best I've ever had, there wasn't a piece left. My husband is not a fan of sweets and actually had two pieces it was so good. I highly recommend Di's Delights. We're both very much looking forward to another piece on our first anniversary.

I was very displeased with Di's Delights professionalism and the appearance of the cake. However, on my first encounter with Di's Delights, I was treated with respect and felt very good with going with the company to produce my wedding cake. I was assured my cake would be perfect just like the picture. Now comes the week of the wedding, and as all brides know, things get pretty stressful and there are many last minute things to take care of. I had an arrangement to drop off the payment to them for the cake and that morning, I had a hair and nail appointment. I received an extremely rude message from the compnay basically stating that they were not doing my cake because I had not droppped off the payment and that this was uncalled for! My husband (well fiancee at that time) called to make arrangement to meet with her, and he was treated unkindly and with disrespect. This was extremely unprofessional. In addition, when I seen the cake at the wedding, my cake did not look like what it was suppose to. Thankfullly the cake appeared pretty and was very good tasting but the cake was not anywhere near the cake I had paid for. The cake I had wanted was suppose to have one piece of ribbon at the bottom of the top layer (which they actually told me they could not do because it was going to be tiered and flowers in the tiers??), and then the actual cake they made had ribbon on all four tiers and the ribbon was a dark pink when my color was baby pink. Not pleased with this company.

We had mini cup cakes, like the kind she has at bridal shows, with a cutting cake on top for my husband and I to cut. IT WAS SO YUMMY. I didnt get to eat any at the wedding but we inhaled them afterward. She is so friendly. The cake was gorgeous, the display amazing, and it was so easy. Everyone loved it. She is amazing!!

Our cake was so delicious and so beautiful. We found Di's through our caterer (Amici's) and we are so thankful because she created a fantastic and memorable cake for us. I can't say enough good things about the experience!

I could not have asked for more in wedding cake services. Diana's creations were amazing and the flavors are delicious (especially our favorite: the citrus flavor with key lime filling)!!! I surprised my groom with a groom's cake in the shape of a Phillies baseball hat and it AWESOME!!! He loved it and was so surprised. Our wedding cake was a three tier cake with a beach theme. Diana created a beach scene unlike no other and chocolate shells for free. She was on time and I did not have to worry about this part of the wedding once. We absolutely loved our cake from Di! It was decorated beautifully and tasted great! She does great work with butter cream...looked smooth like fondant! The citrus cake with key lime frosting was delicious! The presentation was beautiful; we had a beach themed cake and she even added "sand" around our cake...a great touch! Would definitely recommend using Di's Delights!

Di from Di's Delights was a pleasure to work with and her cakes are AMAZING!!! We made an appointment to try samples of her cakes and she had a plate filled with her cakes for my fiance, his son and myself. We had a hard time deciding on 2 flavors and she was very patient with us while we pondered our favorites. She worked with us to match our purple color and designed some beautiful gum paste orchids to go with our flower arrangements. Di's fondant icing is so good!
Everyone at our wedding loved the cake!!!! Even the photographer who has tried plenty of wedding cake loved it.
I will be purchasing my next cake from Di and am looking forward to celebrating our year anniversary and enjoying our anniversary cake!

Di was truly a pleasure. She is very accommodating with busy schedules, and easy to discuss and develop ideas if you are not sure what you want your cake to look like. Not to mention her cake is extraordinarily delicious!! She has all different flavors and is always experimenting; all of this and her prices can’t be beat! I would highly recommend Di’s Delights!

When I got married back on April 1st 2011, Di's Delights did my cakes and they were the best cake that We have ever had. Diane had to make 25 cakes for my center pieces, each table had a different flavor, and some tables could not wait to each them before the cake cutting part of the wedding. She also make a Harley Davidson cake for the head table and was great. Thank you once again for my making my day carefree and great.

I was very happy with our cake, it wasn't EXACTLY like the picture I gave Diane, but it was very similar and I really liked it. The flavors were amazing and the cake was very moist! I would recommend the fresh raspberrys with the raspberry creme filling ... YUM!!! She delivered it on time and everything was set up perfect!! Thank you!!!

Di made the most delicious cake for our wedding. We got to have 3 different flavors for no extra cost, and every single one tasted great. My guests got to taste all the flavors and they kept eating! She was so flexible because I first contacted her very close to the wedding and she had the cake ready for me.

Best cake I have ever eaten! I loved the flavor, even the fondant. Diana brought my maid of honor and myself a sampling of cakes and it was hard to pick a flavor they were all so good. There were only two small problems I had with the cake. The monogram lettering on the cake was sloppily hand drawn on the cake and there was nothing to put the live flowers on to keep the wet flowers off of the cake. I spoke to both the florist and bakery and neither provided a solution the day of so we had to improvise, thank goodness for the cake delivery guy and the owner of the reception venue.

Di's Delight's was, in a word, AMAZING! The cake was beautiful and delicious! Everyone at my wedding just raved about how incredible my cake was and asked where I got it! My only regret was that I didn't get one twice as big because everyone got more to taste a different flavor and now I have none to take back home with me! I had three different flavors and they were all perfect. When Di showed up to drop off the cake, she was on time (a big deal to me) and when the flowers dropped off from the florist to go on the cake weren't the way she and I had discussed them to be, she took extra time to take them apart and made it look perfect (I wouldn't have even know because I never came downstairs on my wedding day except when it was time for me to get married, she took it upon herself to make my cake look perfect for me instead of just sticking the 3 bundles randomly in the cake). I would recommend this cake vendor to ANYONE looking for a delicious cake at a VERY reasonable price (less than Publix!!) and ten times more beautiful! Thank you Di!

I loved my cake! The tasting was so much fun, and everything was delicious, very hard to decide... luckily she will use different flavors on different layers, so our guests could actually choose which flavor they wanted! Everyone loved the cake, and it was very pretty... and she will throw in a free anniversary cake one year after the wedding! you don't have to worry about freezing it, and you can serve the whole cake to your guests (which saves money!). Definitely reccommended!

We had a great experience with Di's Delights. Di made our cake the easiest decision of them all! It turned out so delicious! We brought pictures of what we wanted for the wedding cake and the groom's cake, and she said, "no problem!" They turned out just like we wanted.

I needed a wedding cake on VERY short notice--I emailed Diana and told her the flavors that I wanted, and she created a beautiful cake without any direction from me with regard to what I wanted it to look like. I was planning a wedding from out-of-state, and I was worried about ordering a cake without being able to see or taste the baker's work, but I had nothing to worry about with Diana--every bite of that cake was eaten at our reception! We didn't have anything to take back to the hotel with us! It was delicious! (By the way, her lemon curd filling received RAVE reviews from everyone who tried it!)

I loved my cake!!!! I will recommend them to everyone!!!! Diana is the sweetest person and really listened to what i want. I gave her a picture what i wanted and that's what i got it was better then i thought it would be and it tasted better then when we had the tasting.

The cake was absolutely delicious!!! She doesn't charge you extra if you want a couple different flavors. One of our flavors was the citrus cake with the keylime filling and it was amazing. I gave her a picture of what i wanted and she delivered the cake on time, everything went smoothly. I was a little surprised at the color, however, my colors were pink, chocolate, and sand and the cake didn't have any of those colors, it was more "peachy" looking (the star fish and shell accents). It still looked pretty though so it didn't bother me that much.

Di was awesome & the cake was unbelievable!! I love the fact that our cake was a one of a kind & was made from scratch by a genuine personal baker. She was exceptional to work with considering that we were on a tight budget & bigger stores found it difficult to mean our needs. I will definitely recommend her in the future!

Diane was absolutely great! Her cake flavors are delicious and there were many to choose from. She doesn't charge for having different flavors for each layer of cake. She will even make you a one year anniversary cake for free! She was so affordable. I want to buy all of my birthday and party cakes from her!

Di is amazing. I had NO IDEA what I wanted for a cake, but we came up with simple design, and it was perfect. The cake was THE FIRST thing I saw when I walked into the room for the ceremony and I stopped my dad from walking to say, LOOK AT MY CAKE!!! It not only was beautiful but was delicious! Di will also make you a fresh cake for your 1st anniversay so you don't have to keep the cake in the freezer for a year, which I LOVE. I'm really looking forward to having "our" coconut cake again.

The cake for my March wedding was nothing short of spectacular! I wanted 4 square tiers, with ribbon and elegant accents as well as a sparkle to it and Di really exceeded my vision expectations! Not only did each layer have a different, delicious flavor it was made beautifully without flaws. Guests still talk about how fantastic the cake tasted and how it was the most beautiful one they had ever seen. It made for wonderful photos with my husband and I. She also did the cake for my beach-themed Bridal Shower, and that was also delicious and beautifully made.

I was referred to this vendor by my officiant and we scheduled a tasting. We arrived a bit late after doing some meetings with other vendors while we were out at the beach and she was very understanding. We met Diane, the owner, she was very professional yet treated you like she had known you for years. She gave us several selections and was very detailed with what she could make happen. I had an idea of what I wanted from a magazine so I had cut it out and brought it to her. I ordered our topper from WeddingStar.com and on the day of our wedding when I saw the cake it was more beautiful than I imagined. Wow, the taste was delightful. We were able to get a 3-tier cake with 3 of our favorite flavors right within our budget. She delivered the cake at no additional cost and the most exciting part is we did not have to freeze the top. We get a fresh one made just for us on our 1 year anniversary! How exciting.. thanks Diane.

Diana is awsome, she is very sweet and helpfull.she does the most delicious cakes i have ever eaten even though i am not a fan of cakes but her cakes are different i loved all the flavors she made for my wedding. i gave her a picture of the wedding cake i wanted and she did it exactly and added more to it too. i would recommend diana to anyone is really awsome

I checked out several bakeries before meeting with Di at Di's Delights. Once I met with her my anxieties were put at ease. I had an idea of what I wanted for the cake, but she expanded on it and blew me away. The cake was fantastic. Turned out so much better than what I was expecting. Not to mention the cake itself was so moist and delicious. It is still moist a week later. Di deliveres and sets up, plus gives an anniversary cake for free. Very easy going and flexible. So easy to work with. Also works within your budget.

Di's Delights cakes are to "di" for!! so moist and delicious. Any and all flavors for the same serving price. No increase on specialty flavors. I made each tier of my wedding cake a different flavor. Her cakes are better flavored and decorated than publix for average cakes too. Ordered my husband his 30th bday golf cake. It was so awesome and each slice that Di serves for one can really feed two. The value and quality cant be beat!

My wedding cake was amazing! I provided Diana with a picture of exactly what I wanted, and what I wanted as a cake topper was very different than anything traditional, involving lights and batteries and she made it work and was even excited about it! My guests loved the cake, both the design and the taste. I chose three different flavors for the three layers and it was just delicious! I also found Diana to be very affordable!

Such a sweet lady! Di was so nice when we went in to talk about the cake initially. She had samples set out and provided information about other vendors. She gave us many ideas about centerpieces and decoration and table names. She was just so nice! I brought her a picture of the cake we wanted, wrote out what we wanted changed and which cake flavors and fillings we wanted. We had red velvet cake with cream cheese filling on the top and bottom tier and white chocolate cake with strawberries(real strawberries mind you!) as the filling. There was no extra cost to add different flavor cakes, she didn't require us to make like a 10% or 50% deposit. There was a deposit, but it was whatever we could afford at the time, so we put $50 down and paid the rest the day before the wedding! The cake was done exactly like the picture with the changes we asked for and it was so good! I looove red velvet cake and it was hard to find a bakery that wasn't going to charge extra to use that cake. Di's Delights was fantastic!! Thanks again!

Di was absolutely great to work with. She emailed me back within 10 mins of requiring information. There was no charge to have a cake tasting and worked around our crazy schedules. She had so many different flavors to choose from, it was so hard to decide. I showed her a picture of what I want for the bridal cake and she said it would be no problem. The grooms cake we just told her what we wanted and get much more! My husband's bestman is algeric to chocolate (the poor guy) and we wanted to make sure that there would be no problem. We ended up have the groom's cake without chocolate and everyone loved it. The best part is we get a free 1 year anniversary cake so we served our top layer as well which cut down on the price of the cake. The cost of both cakes was way under my budget of $500!!!

Di's delights was so easy to work with when trying to order our cake, all changes we needed to make were via email and Di was able to respond within 24 hours. The cake looked and tasted amazing. I am excited to eat the cake again on our one year anniversary.

Di did a fabulous job on my cake. I knew I wanted a cream-colored cake with some very elegant fall decorations on it. I brought her a picture and she made it happen. It tasted fabulous and was delivered on time and in perfect condition. I didn't have to continually call her and ask how things were going or worry the cake wouldn't make it. She also gives you a free cake on your 1-year anniversary so you don't have to save your top tier.

Di's Delights made me a beautiful, delicious cake! It was exactly what I pictured in my head and it tasted even better! She had never attempted a groom's cake like mine, but she did it and it turned out perfect! The price vs. quality was uncomparable to any other baker and my calls were always taken or promptly returned. I recommend Di's Delights to everyone now for any occasion.
