I ordered earrings from Diamond Nexus during a clearance, and got an amazing deal. Unfortunately, I received an email two days later saying that the earrings I ordered sold out and they couldn't make another pair. I was offered a refund or exchange, just as anyone dissatisfied with their item would be offered. I spoke with Perry Weber from Customer Service, and he couldn't offer any discount whatsoever as an apology for DNL's mistake. By the time I was notified of the mistake, absolutely nothing remotely similar to the earrings I wanted was available, unless I wanted to pay 5 times what I had originally paid. Getting in touch with Customer Service was easy, but I was extremely disappointed in DNL for taking zero responsibility for their failure. Based on this experience, I'm very unlikely to order anything from them again.

Hi, My name is Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator for Diamond Nexus. I want to apologize to you personally for the inconvenience and disappointment you had when trying to order from our special clearance sale. Unfortunately, there were items that had limited quantities and due to an error with our order system, a few extra orders had been submitted before we could stop them from going through. I will do everything that I can in order to assist you in making your experience with Diamond Nexus a positive one. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide me with the name on the account so that I can look into options for you. Again, I am very sorry but I am positive that we can come to a solution for you. Sincerely, Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus.
My name is Travis, 31, from indiana. My girlfriend and I have been looking at rings for awhile (5 months ugh..) and trying to find a ring that is both beautiful and financially responsible. Some of you are probably laughing as you know its nearly impossible!
After alot, I mean alot, of frustration my girlfriend out of the blue brought up lab created diamonds. I had never heard of them and was skeptical. beyond skeptical. We talked about it, did some research, saw some bad reviews of diamond nexus, saw some good reviews of diamond nexus and in the end we decided to drive to the diamond nexus store located in Chicago to take a look at them in person and judge for ourselves.
I've been visiting jewelry stores for 5 months, with and without, my girlfriend and probably have held somewhere around 2000 rings in my hand. I was pretty sure I could tell a quality difference in the stone and also the ring itself.....I couldn't. I thought if I breathed hot air on the diamond nexus stone it would fog up like a CZ.....it didn't. I thought the mined diamond ring we borrowed from a family member to compare to the diamond nexus would blow the diamond nexus away......it didn't....actually looked idendtical and on top of that the platinum band on the family members band looked cheap compared to the diamond nexus white gold band. We left the store in shock and walked directly over to "big time" jewelry store that startes with a Z and rhymes with whales:) and started trying on diamond rings. Bottom line the diamond nexus was better. Why? Quality was just as good, stone just as shiny, and had fewer imperfections which I immediately noticed in the Z store (rhymes with whales) and the price value doesn't even compare.
Hopefully this helps other couples out there. I am an average guy working a 9-5 job who just wants his future wife to have a nice ring. I just wanted to share my real life comparison test.
Hi, I am the bride to be and the issues I've had with this ring has brought me to tears from both embarrassment and being extremely dissatisfied. As I type up this review my ring is making an obnoxious rattling noise because the main diamond is loose, again!
My fiance proposed to me this past Oct 2012 and I was so excited. At first glance the ring was beautiful. Within about 30 minutes I noticed the mil work on the sides of the ring was very poor.
When we got back from our week long trip my fiance called customer service but they said since it had been over 30 days since he originally purchased it he could not get his money back nor get a brand new one. All they could do is fix it at no cost. No cost being a lie since you have to pay for shipping. This was extremely embarrassing since I was newly engaged and our friends and family wondered where the ring was. It took 2 WEEKS from the time we sent it out to the time we got it back. I told people that i had to get it resized when they asked where my ring was.
When we received the ring back from DN I noticed that they tried to fix the mil work on the side but the quality was ok, still looked like an amateur jeweler worked on it. Literally within the next day the main diamond started to become loose again and rattle. Wow, was I upset. I talked to a customer representative and they said they can't do anything about it except return it back to them to get it fixed once more. I asked how can I expect DN to fix it when they didn't the first time? I can't keep returning it over and over again.
We had an engagement party after we received it from getting repaired so I could not send it back. Now with the holidays I can't

Hello, My name is Jennifer London and I am the Social Media Coordinator for Diamond Nexus. I would like to offer my assistance. Please email me at your earliest convenience at email@example.com. with your name and the order number so that I can look into this for you. I understand that your engagement ring needs to be perfect and I want to help assure that the ring is repaired or remade, depending on what the issues are, so that your faith in Diamond Nexus is restored and you have a beautiful ring back on your hand and ready to show off every day. I would want the same from my engagement ring, which I actually own from our company. So you are in company by working with me. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Sincerely, Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus.
My fiance was skeptical when I showed him Diamond Nexus. We live on the west coast and there are no stores here to visit. I have two pairs of stud earrings from DN and absolutely love them!! I wanted a diamond that I KNEW was conflict free. Luckily, he followed my lead and did some research of his own on DN. My ring is absolutely beautiful!!! I compared it to my grandma's $16,000 2 carat stone and you can't tell the difference. Needless to say my grandma was also shocked. The quality of the ring is great. It feels very sturdy and is great quality. My fiance also said that the customer service was great. He had purchased one ring that when he received it he didn't like it as much as he had online. He exchanged it without a problem. He surprised me with a beautiful ring and a beautiful proposal in the middle of the airport. Thank you Diamond Nexus for my amazing ring!!!!!
We ordered a ring from Diamond nexus and within 2 months one of the stones had fallen out. They say they will replace the stone for a nominal fee, but you will have to pay $35 for the remount, and $20 to ship it. I have owned lots of jewelry in my life and have NEVER had a stone fall out. I read reviews where others have run into this same problem. We where going to buy both of our wedding bands from them but after this experience I will never give them anymore of my money. We are going to purchase a ring from a real jeweler who takes pride and responsibility for their product.

Dear Pamela, My name is Jennifer London and I am the Social Media Coordinator for Diamond Nexus. I wanted to reach out to you about your recent ring repair issues and the frustrations that you have dealt with. We do have a policy in place that completely covers all ring repairs within the first 30 days of owning the jewelry. Outside of that time frame, we do replace missing stones for a nominal fee. This is something that is common across the jewelry industry, as regular wear of rings and unforeseen occurrences and ring damage can occur with wear, depending on how jewelry is worn and what it might be exposed to. We strive to keep these fees quite low, to only offset our costs, not to make money off of our customers. Any jewelry, no matter where it has been purchased from, can loose stones, depending on the ring style and how it is worn. I am happy to look into your account history for you and assist you in getting your ring repaired. We value your business and want to restore your faith in Diamond Nexus and make sure that you have a beautiful ring on your finger that you can wear proudly. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and name on the account and I promise to do everything in my power to guarantee your ring is repaired for you quickly and back in your possession as soon as possible. I look forward to working with you soon~ Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus.
I dropped my engagement ring and soon to be wedding band off at the store to be re-sized on the 20th. I called on the 26th to check in on my ring they say everything is fine its being re-sized as scheduled and it will be back within the 7 to 14 days as stated. So day 14 rolls around I call and ask about my ring. The sales person tells me he needs to call corporate and will call me back. then finally my fiancee, has to call him back after we wait for a call for an hour with no word. The sales rep says that its actually 10-14 business days and promises my ring will be back on the 9th of April but they give me a loaner ring for the time being since I have my engagement pictures scheduled. The 9th comes still no ring we again call the store. They now say its 7-14 business days after the jeweler gets it. My fiancee goes and gets my ring today at the Diamond Nexus in Schaumburg , IL at Woodfeild mall.He comes home hands me the ring with new AIG certification papers and a new receipt...weird that the ring came with new papers. So i read my old papers and compare them to my new papers. Its not my ring. I know this because i can see what looks to me like they ordered a new one of my ring on the 26th the first time i called! and the AIG certifications are different. We have contacted corporate and their statement was that the company often will order new rings instead of re-sizing a ring if the jeweler feels its needed as to not diminish the value of the ring. I was never told this. I see this no where in my paper work. i wasn't told this one the day i dropped it off or any of the 3 days i called! The rings may be the same design and of the same monetary value but the sentimental value of my original ring is gone! This is not the ring my fiancee proposed with and I was never asked if it was okay to take my property "because I owned that first ring" and replace it with a new one. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Had they of told the truth I would have understood. I feel lied to.

Hi Samantha, My name is Jennifer London and I am the Social Media Coordinator here for Diamond Nexus. I can see that you are quite frustrated with the issues surrounding your ring and band sizing and I want to help out if I can. First, I contacted the store to inquire more about the situation. I understand that the ring and band needed to be sized and that the sizing needed to be a whole size, which in most cases except simple solitaires means that we do need to remake the rings or they can be compromised and have stone issues later. I apologize if a salesperson had failed to mention that to you before sending it off, but as you had just gotten the ring and we do offer free sizing within the first 30 days, this is also something that many customers take advantage of prior to their weddings. The shipping timeframe from the store to our corporate headquarters can be a bit confusing and I know I would not want to be without my ring that long either but as we did have to check the ring in and then remake it, and ship it back to the store, that is why the timeframe was delayed. We would never intentionally hold back truth from customers and I feel awful that you think that we lied and cheated you, when in truth we simply put into motion the policy of returning and reordering a ring in the size that you needed. I think that I would blame this on miscommunication and I do hope that you can forgive us. I just want to reassure you if I can that we never hold back information on if rings need to be remade. It is simply something that happens often in cases of large sizing differences. Please contact us at your convenience as we would love to speak with you more. I understand where you are coming from and would
like to restore your faith in Diamond Nexus. Sincerely, Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus
My experience with Diamond Nexus was outstanding. I live in Australia and they are located in the US so I was worried the whole process would be difficult, but I emailed them about customising a ring for me and got a prompt response.
I was kept updated via regular emails and sent photos during the design process which made me very excited about receiving my ring. When it arrived, I couldn't have been happier. The quality is amazing, especially for the price I paid. I've had so many compliments and there's no way you would no they're not real diamonds unless you we're an expert. The quality of the simulated diamonds far outweighs that of a cubic zirconia.
I would happily recommend Diamond Nexus to anyone who is wanting to purchase any kind of jewellery, they're fantastic.
I was proposed to 2 weeks ago with a DN ring (Myra) and within 2 days I noticed a chip, loose stone, side panel of diamonds is missing gold to hold a diamond in and the metal material (white gold) is scratched easily. I only do paperwork and typing at work so I feel that quality of the ring is poor and it saddens me, we have contacted DN and were told that we would recieve a call back but no call has been issued. Very disturbing and we feel misled.

Hello, My name is Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator for Diamond Nexus. I first would like to apologize for the issues that you have experienced with your new engagement ring. Certainly we understand the frustration and we want you to be assured that we make customer service at Diamond Nexus a top priority. I would like to offer you my personal email, email@example.com and if you can email me with your order information, I will make sure that the proper people get in touch with you and either repair or replace your ring for you. It sounds like there may be a defect in the ring itself, in which case a new ring would definitely be created for you. I look forward to assisting you and making sure that a beautiful new engagement ring that is perfect will be on your hand soon and ready for you to show off proudly! Sincerely, Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus
The initial ring I ordered (Cardiff) looked beautiful, but that is about the only positive thing I can say. It was supposed to come in cushion cut. However, somehow Diamond Nexus sent the ring with a round stone instead and because I am not a diamond expert I did not notice. I presented it to my girlfriend and she loved the ring however, I had selected the wrong ring size and also after seeing the size of the 1.67 carat stone on her tiny fingers we decided that a 1.28 would be a better fit, so we needed to send the ring back to be sized correctly and swap the stone.
When the ring came back it came back with the cushion cut that it should have had in the first place but the prongs when viewed from the top were substantially smaller (in the first ring when viewed from the top were very substantial and striking). My now fiancé had fallen in love with the original ring (other than the size issue and wanting a smaller stone) and was very distraught when the second ring came back looking different. She called Diamond Nexus customer service to ask about the different shaped stone and the person she talked to was very unfriendly and told her to email the jeweler and ask, which she did and never received a response to. This upset her greatly and disappointed me as it made me look bad that I got her ring from such a poorly organized company.
Also, when looking closely at the prongs of the second ring, they were each hitting the stone in a different location and one even had a niche carved out that looked like that was where the stone should sit, but it did not. The craftsman ship of the prongs, or maybe the setting of the stone, looked to be very poor.
My fiancé was very upset and in tears over the whole situation, which needless to say is the very opposite affect I wanted our engagement ring to have. I later called back and talked to another customer service representative who was much more helpful, he confirmed we could send the ring back to replace the cushion stone with a round one again for free which we did along with comments about how the stone was not set into the 4 prongs in a consistent manner.
One positive note: since we were sending the ring back we requested it also be sized to 1/8th size smaller in order to fit perfectly which the jewelers did accommodate, however, the ring stayed with Diamond Nexus longer than was originally quoted to me, which caused her to not have the ring when we flew to San Diego for the engagement party her family was throwing for us. Again, this caused more anguish over the whole ring situation.
Then to top it off, when we finally got the final ring back, while the stone was now round again and did appear to be set in the prongs more evenly when looking at it from the sides, when viewing the ring from the top the 4 prongs are different sizes and are not evenly placed around the stone. Also, in the first ring I presented the prongs opened up more around the stone like a flower, and in the now 3rd version of the ring, they appear to grip it more like a claw. Lastly, when running our fingers along the bottom of the ring, we can feel a change where the size has been adjusted. This has all triggered more tears in my fiancé and has frustrated me to no end.
I am very disappointed in the quality of craftsmanship in this ring and the jewelers of Diamond Nexus. I also don’t understand the quality controls that are in place that would have allowed a round stone to be sent out in the first place if the ring only comes with cushion. At a minimum when we sent it back the first time for a smaller stone, someone should have noticed it had a round and not a cushion and called us to confirm which stone we actually wanted. Not just received in a round and shipped out a cushion with no questions asked.
I would love to just return the ring completely, and put an end to dealing with all of this but my fiancé fell in love with the first ring I proposed to her with and wants to keep it.
So now we are torn on whether to send the ring back AGAIN in the hopes of getting the prongs straightened out from the top (which we are apprehensive about because there is a risk it will come back looking even more unlike the first ring I presented) or settling for a ring that looks like a cheap knock-off handcrafted in Mexico.
I would never recommend Diamond Nexus to a friend as in the end, my fiancé is still unhappy with her ring and not only that, in the 2 and a half months we have been engaged, she has only had a ring on her finger for a few weeks of it. And if we do choose to send it back, she will be without it even longer. Guys, beware. As you can see my overall experience with Diamond Nexus has been terrible and unacceptable for such an important life moment.

Dear Mark, Please let me introduce myself. My name is Jennifer London, and I am the Social Media Coordinator for Diamond Nexus. I would first like to apologize for the issues that you both have had with your engagement ring. We want to let you know that we take our jewelry workmanship very seriously, using highly trained jewelers, making our settings by hand. Once finished, they go through a strict quality assurance as well. This process creates beautiful, heirloom quality jewelry, but because they are handmade there can be small prong variations that we do look for upon inspection. If we had missed this and sent you a ring that did not meet your satisfaction, we will be happy to have the ring sent back for repair with our jewelers. I would personally like to make sure that we document the repair and send you photos before the ring is sent back to you, to guarantee that you are both pleased with the repair. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org and I would be happy to work with you on making sure that your new engagement ring for your fiance is perfect. She deserves to have a beautiful engagement ring that she can proudly show off and we will definitely make that happen for you. If you can email me your order information, and possibly a photo of how the ring looks now, I will be more than happy to look into the order and do everything that I can to assist you. I understand that you are frustrated, but I am confident that we will correct the ring issue and get it back her hand quickly. Thank you for your patience and I look forward to speaking with you soon. Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator
Do NOT purchase from the Schaumburg location! This store has cost me time and $, and has offered no benefit to just purchasing online. Best thing to do is put what you want in your cart, wait 1-2 weeks until they email you with a 15% discount(which you receive in 5-10-15 increments as time passes...) and only visit for free cleanings and free water. Otherwise save from paying Schaumburg tax and buy online!!!
Otherwise the ring is beautiful and we love it!!!

Dear Marcus, let me introduce myself. My name is Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator for Diamond Nexus.I want to thank you for taking the time to post a review for us here and I want to apologize for your frustrations with paying a local sales tax at our Schaumburg retail location.
Unfortunately, the sales tax does have to be charged on instore purchases, as that is the law and all stores have to charge sales tax. The amount depends on what the states determine and not on what we want to charge. So the tax charged at our Milwaukee store would be a different amount than what you had to pay as each state is different. All customers living in Wisconsin and Illinois who order online will also have to pay sales tax as well. This is because of our locations in these states. If the proposed online tax bill gets passed, then all online customers living in every state will have to pay tax to not only us but to any company that they order from.
Though you had issues with the sales tax, I am however, very glad to hear that you are happy with your new jewelry though and if I can ever be of assistance, please feel free to contact me at anytime. My email address is email@example.com. Sincerely, Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus.
I have the Luna solitaire as my engagement ring and I also have the Honey earrings. I have not had any problems with my ring and it is BEAUTIFUL! My fiance got this ring for under $1000 and if we had gotten a mined diamond ring of the same size (1.5 carat) and excellent cut, clarity, and color; the ring would be at least $15,000 and as a budget conscious girl, I don't even plan on spending that on the whole wedding. The shipping was fast (I live in Japan and have everything shipped to FPO) and emails were received throughout the order and shipping process. I have picked out a DNL wedding band and a right hand ring as well. I would recommend them to anyone!

Thank you so much for your purchase, Kathryn! We are so happy that you are pleased with our product and that you love the ring! Congratulations to you both on your new life together, and please let me know if there is ever anything I can assist you with! Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus.
I glanced through a few feedbacks left by other customers and it's sad to read the events they went through. However, my experience with the company went very smooth and the agent I worked with, Perry Weber was awesome! He responded to all my emails quickly, and answered all my questions thoroughly, which means a lot when in a deployed location. I was pleased with the ring when I saw it as was my fiancee. The ring made it overseas a week earlier than expected. My only concern is that is was not shipped verified mail as a customs form must be used on international mail, and the contents of the package were on the front label. My agent made my experience with Diamond Nexus pleasant, and I will do business with them in the future!
Do not buy from diamond nexus. The jewelry looks good int he beginning then starts to look like garbage after a few months. of course their money back promise is only good for 30 days. I wish I could get my money back for it. I kept the ring and got a new real diamond. Don't mess around with this terrible product. I am out of the money I paid for this gemstone which looks terrible and cant do anything about it. terrible. Just buy a real diamond

I want to introduce myself, my name is Christina Waller and I work on our Social Media team. I am so sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your DN purchase and truly would like to try and work with you to figure out a resolution. While our 30 day guarantee does allow you to return or exchange during the first 30 days of your purchase, the guarantees on our stones are for a Lifetime. What that means is if you are ever unhappy with how the stones are performing or looking, we will always have the jewelers replace them. I sincerely hope that you do utilize those guarantees and would be happy to hear from you regarding the issues you feel you have encountered. You can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Looking forward to hearing from you.
THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY THAT I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO DO BUSINESS WITH!!!
I am posting a review on this website because when I tried to write a review on the Diamond Nexus website itself, the company deleted it. Talk about SHADY BUSINESS!
I bought the gypsy ring for my girlfriend for Valentine's Day this year. She's very opposed to the whole blood diamond deal so this was the ideal company for me to find her a gift and later this year, an engagement ring. Or so I thought. The initial process was nice(but whose sale department isn't?!) and the ring arrived in a timely manner and elegantly presented. But after that it was all downhill.
FIRSTLY the ring was a half a size off. So we shipped it back and received an email saying that it had been received and had been resized and would be shipped back. The email was in the weirdest format and looked like it had been formatted by a toddler with a computer. So naturally from what I could gather, it had been sent. Two weeks pass by and no ring. I call Diamond Nexus. I was on hold for 40 minutes before I gave up and hung up. My girlfriend was impatient so I tried again a few days later. I finally got somebody on the phone and it turns out that my ring had NOT EVEN BEEN SHIPPED. Apparently I owed them 8 dollars for shipping. Seriously, if I owed them shipping they should have let me know. By this point it had been over a month past Valentine's Day. So after paying them the 8 dollars they sent me another email saying it would be shipped in 2 weeks. TWO WEEKS? Clearly they lied and it had not yet been resized as indicated in the previous email. After this whole nightmare the ring arrived in a box half wrapped, not in the original box that I had even sent back to them which BELONGED TO ME. And the ring didn't even match the original one. The LP stamp was no longer there but my girlfriend was so happy to finally have it that we let it slide.
Now onto the quality of the jewelry itself. This nightmare might have been forgivable had I satisfied my girlfriend with a nice gift that she can cherish. But the detailing was flawed. There was supposed to be some leaf detailing but it was uneven and had indents. The metal, Lorian Platinum which Diamond Nexus claims is a combination of silver, palladium and platinum was originally brighter than her Tiffany's ring. Now it is duller and in parts even tarnishing. The stones are cloudy and the middle stone is so loose it even rotates in its setting. It rattles when she moves her hand. We would send it back because they have a "policy" which deals with loose stones or cloudy stones but based on our previous experience with them you can see why I'm apprehensive about dealing with their company.
Worst part of this whole experience is this ring was just a test preview to the real deal. I'm going to propose this fall and she has been eyeing the Constance ring that the company makes. I've looked everywhere else for the setting but haven't found anything similar. I don't know what I'm going to do because I don't want to disappoint her but there is NO WAY I would give this company my business after the service I received. I'm not going to spend a thousand dollars plus on a ring that tarnishes and whose stone jiggles around in the setting.

Dear Max, Let me introduce myself. My name is Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator for Diamond Nexus. First, I would like to apologize to you for the frustrations and hassles that you had experienced when ordering and sending a ring in for a repair with us. We do have a policy which states that customers pay for their shipping back after sizing has been done if they need a different size. Our jewelers email customers to let them know when rings are checked in and what costs are owed before items go into production. Since there was a charge for shipping that was due, the ring had not been put into production. I am concerned that we may have your email incorrectly saved in our order system and I would be more than happy to correct that if you can email me at email@example.com with your order information. As for the ring coming back to you looking differently, I am not sure as to why that would have happened. Our jewelers use the utmost care in making and repairing jewelry and all items go through a strict quality assurance before shipping back to customers. After repairs, we do not package rings as they are shipped initially, but if you had sent your cherrywood box to us, I would be happy to also resend it back to you as a customer courtesy. For ring repairs, we don't require the original packaging to be sent back, but only ask that rings are sent to us in a secure package that prevents the ring from getting damaged during shipment. Our lorian platinum collection of jewelry is guaranteed for life, but does require care when being worn, as any jewelry would be. It is best to remove any jewelry before washing hands, using soaps, cleansers etc. to keep the metal looking beautiful. Chemicals can damage metals, even gold, so it is always best to err on the side of caution and keep jewelry away from harsh chemicals. I completely understand that you are upset and had only wanted your girlfriend to have a lovely ring for Valentine's Day that she could wear proudly. I would like to speak with you at your convenience to see what we can do to help you both have exactly what you were looking for and receive the same great customer service and high quality jewelry that all of our customers get from Diamond Nexus. I can assure you that I will do everything within my power to see that you both come away satisfied. I look forward to speaking with you soon. Sincerely, Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus
Dont waste your time or money! We ordered our engagement ring because it was fairly well priced and looked good on the website ..OMG what a dissapointment! After two months the gold already began to wear and the stone started to scuff on the edges. I then started noticing just how cheaply make the ring was. I wish I had read the reviews before I purchsed and wore the ring. I ended up doing some reasearch and had to bite the bullet on another ring. We went with Quorri and so far we are extremely happy! much better quality and their DymondIX is coated so it will definitely last. As they say buyer beware. do your homework before buying anything!
I dont know how anyone could give them a bad review. I ordered a loose 2.5 carat stone and it is AMAZING! My GF and I can not stop looking at it. We have never seen such a beautiful stone. I actually ordered one from Asha too and they sent a very nice stone but the color was a little off (which some people might like). Also the customer service is great too! they always pick up and they are clear over the phone with any issues you may have. I will defiantly be buy more from them in the future.
I ordered a ring early this year around April from DNL it was a custom order.
First off the welding work on the band was done so sloppy the channels on the
side of the ring were the stones sit were done so sloppy with one side shaped different then the other, the stones that sat inside the channel were not even properly placed in and a couple were lifting upward. I had it for three days when I noticed how unprofessional it looked and the qulity of the ring just made my heart sink.
I had to send it back so they could work on it, that was a bummer. They finally sent it back after I had to argue with them about how I refuse to pay for shipping because they tried to front me the shipping bill on their sloppy work.
When I recieved it back the welding work was still sloppy looking I could see they tried to fix the imperfections on the channels with no success the only thing they fixed were the lose stones. I kept the ring and accepted my loses because if I wanted to return it I have to pay up 1134 dollars more to upgrade the ring and we already spent 800 dollars for this ring.
Now I can't wear the ring at all my finger broke out in a rash :'(
This is such a nightmare this ring is suppose to symbolize
the love and union of our marriage but in reality its a constant reminder of how we wasted 800 dollars because we thought we were putting our children and family first by making wise financial choices. Sad to say but it feels like a scam and I would not reccomend DNL to anyone. YOU BEEN WARNED!
We are Jose and Blanca Alvarez, we have three beautiful children and we reside in Sacramento CA. I am a real person not a diamond store trying to make DNL look bad. Look me up if you must before you decide to buy from this company, there are others out there and I wish we would have held on to our money to buy from a more deserving business. Dear Blanca, My name is Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator for Diamond Nexus. I want to reach out to you in regards to your review and the complaints that you have about your Diamond Nexus custom made ring that was made with the Nexus Design Studio and the resulting issues with the casting and your skin allergies. I looked up your order and spoke with our Nexus Design Studio Manager, Nancy Jaeck and understand that when the ring was in for repair, it was back in May. We would have been more than happy to have had it brought back in immediately to inspect again, after learning that you were not happy with the repair and we definitely want you to be completely satisfied with your ring, able to wear it proudly and show it off. We would like to help you get a ring that is what you had imagined for your engagement ring and if you can email our Nexus Design Studio manager at firstname.lastname@example.org she is aware of the issues and wants to speak with you about what your options are. As for the ring making your skin break out, it is a Lorian Platinum ring, which is made with Gold, Silver, Platinum and alloys. Not knowing what you may be allergic to, I would emphasize that skin sensitivities can be caused by many things, including our own chemical makeup and the ring finish wearing off and causing reactions from the alloys underneath. Remembering to remove rings before using harsh chemicals, cleaners or exposure to soaps, lotions and chlorine will protect the ring finish and reduce any skin sensitivities that a person mat have. I want to reassure you that we take customer service very seriously and want all customer experiences to be positive. Please email Nancy Jaeck at your earliest convenience to speak with her about this situation and what can be done to help you. Sincerely, Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus
I wanted to leave a positive review of Diamond Nexus, to help anyone who's only read all the negative comments people have. I've had my ring for several months, it is absolutely gorgeous, the service and professionalism from all of the Diamond Nexus staff has been fabulous. They communicated everything about the purchase with us, and kept us informed of the status of our order. My ring is stunning! It is the Mina ring. I've read complaints that the diamonds get cloudy and look fake, and nothing could be further from the truth. Mine sparkles like a real diamond, and no one can tell the difference. The settings at DN are absolutely gorgeous, and unlike any of the settings I looked at through the franchise jewelers. It is a truly wonderful company, and I would recommend them to anyone. My fiance didn't break the bank to buy me an absolutely gorgeous ring, and I couldn't be happier with it. Can't wait for my wedding to get the matching band.
I haven't received my ring yet. But, I wanted to say that Diamond Nexus did a pretty good job of taking care of what could have been a horrible outcome. My husband purchased a ring for our wedding anniversary. It was to arrive tomorrow. We are very excited about the ring, but he noticed that the address they had was incorrect. So, he called and whom ever he spoke with told him that "Sorry, once it leaves us we don't have any control." My husband is a pretty nice guy and just accepted this horrible excuse and called UPS. They would not change it for him....again horrible customer service on UPS too. So, I called UPS and they told me it would cost me $5.00 to fix the shipper's mistake. Ahhh....NO, I will not accept that. I'm not going to pay for someone else's mistake. So I called Diamond Nexus myself. I was a little upset because I felt like we were getting no where, but the person on the other end handled the call very professionally. At first I wasn't sure she wanted to help. And I had to tell her that if they didn't call UPS themselves and change the address the ring would come back and then they could just send it again. She put me on hold and when she came back she had made the correct changes. I will have my ring on Friday. I would have given more stars if they would have handled this issue when my husband called. You need to remember that you should go above and beyond to make your customer happy, they will come back and purchase more and also refer you to others. Thank you for making this happen, even if I had to push you a little to get what I wanted and what I deserved.
I've read a lot of bad things on this review and I'm a little worried. I'm even more worried about what sort of customer service I might receive if the ring is damaged or if a stone falls out. I hope this was just a one time thing. Still excited about getting my ring though. :)
DNL claims to have "real" man-made diamonds, but the stones they sell look just awful after a day of wearing them.... I think they're just a CZ.. which I'd be fine with, if I didn't pay so much. From reading their site and viewing their videos I expected so much more. I'm very disappointed.

Hi, I am really sorry to hear that you have not had a great experience with us and I would like to help you correct that. I can assure you that our stones are not CZ, they are made quite differently, and also are guaranteed for life, so if you have any issues at all, we will replace the stones for you. Please feel free to email me at email@example.com and include your order information and I am happy to look this up for you and see what we can do. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you soon, Jennifer London~Social Media Coordinator~Diamond Nexus
My Fiance purchased my ring Feb. of 2011, it was beautiful and very shiny. I have noticed over the past few months it looks dull and even after being cleaned it doesnt shine like it used to. Then today I noticed one of the side diamonds is missing. I called DN and the customer service was nice but I need to pay to ship it back, then pay to have it remounted and shipped back. We were planning on buying the matching wedding band and my fiances wedding ring from DN next month but not sure if I want to take the chance of having another dull ring and loose stones.

Hi Denise, my name is Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator for Diamond Nexus. I want to reach out to you in regards to your ring and the repairs needed. I am sorry that there had been some issues with the ring. We definitely want you 100% satisfied with your engagement ring. Dullness, as you mentioned, is due to environmental contaminants building up on the ring’s surface and can be removed with a thorough cleaning. We recommend using an ultrasonic cleaner for the best results. We also honor free repairs within the first 30 days, but outside of that timeframe there is a small repair fee and shipping cost involved, since these repairs come from natural wear of the jewelry. We do offer a lifetime guarantee on the stones though, so there is never a charge for a new stone. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused by the missing stone, but want to assure you that once here for repairs, our jewelers will check over all the stones and make sure the entire ring passes quality assurance before sending it back to you. Please feel free to follow up with me if you have any questions or concerns. I am more than happy to help in any way I can. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org I look forward to hearing how this situation has been resolved to your satisfaction. Warmest regards, Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus.
I initially purchased an eternity band that I loved. Received purchase in a beautiful box, and it was a simply stunning piece. However, within an hour of wearing the band, a stone fell right out. I was so disappointed and embarrassed.
I called customer service and the gentleman was very pleasant informed me that I might be better off with a prong set band instead of a bezel set. I upgraded the ring to the tune of $400. They did offer me 10% off the next band.
My new ring came in approximately 2 weeks later. The ring was pretty, but I could hear stones rattling. I thought this cant be, I am just paranoid.
Well, two days later while at dinner with friends, I looked down, and there was three stones missing! Unbelievable, I was in tears! I was absolutely shocked and mortified after receiving compliments on my new piece. I have never had a stone fall out, nevermind three in the course of an evening. I called hoping that the customer service rep would offer me something for my humilation and troubles, but nothing was offered. I was offered a shipping label to return my piece. Still sad and upset. Where is the quality control? Where is the pride and customer satisfation? I would not recommend to anyone.

Dear Michelle, Let me introduce myself. My name is Jennifer London and I am the Social Media Coordinator for Diamond Nexus. I first want to apologize to you for the frustrations that you have gone through while trying to find the right eternity band to wear. We definitely strive for 100% customer satisfaction and have strict quality assurance in place to catch any issues before jewelry is shipped out so I am not sure what happened that not only one but two different rings had lost stones so quickly. There is a chance with eternity bands that they can become damaged with wear, as stones cover the entire band and if the hand knocks a hard surface or if the wearer is a "ring tapper" the band would potentially have prongs loosen and stones fall out. I understand that you returned your first ring and paid for a more expensive ring style in hopes that that would work for you and obviously it will not. I would be more than happy to work with you to find a more suitable style for you, perhaps with a band that has stones covering part but not all of the band, for a more secure wear, if that is something you are interested in. Please contact me at your earliest convenience with your full name and order information. My email is email@example.com and I am more than happy to assist you so that you can have a band on your hand that you are completely happy with and that you can show off every day! Every woman deserves to have that and I know if we look for a style that is going to offer security to you that we will win back your faith in Diamond Nexus. I look forward to speaking with you soon~ Sincerely, Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus.
I purchased a loose stone from Diamond Nexus. The material that was made from was not durable at all. The gemstone was chipped within a year. Called customer service and they do not backup their own products. Overall poor customer service and the associate who assisted me had an attitude and hung up on me. Regret ever doing business with them. I guess you get what you paid for. I did some research, if you ever want something closest to a diamond, go for Moissanite its is definitely harder than a diamond nexus gemstone. Diamond Nexus gemstones are recognized as CZ in the diamond world, so its only as hard as a CZ. DON'T BE FOOLED......be smart, know what your getting into before wasting hundreds of dollars.
Vendor response to review
Hello, My name is Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator for Diamond Nexus. I want to reach out to you about the loose stone that you had purchased with our company. If you had purchased a stone and had a jeweler set the stone into a setting, then that unfortunately voids the warranty with Diamond Nexus. We do set stones into customers personal jewelry settings and this is the recommended action to keep the lifetime warranty with the stones, as our stones are not pure carbon and need to be cold set like Rubies. I can assure you that we strive to give customers 100% satisfaction with our products and with any customer service issues.
I am also happy to explain more about the differences between our stones and CZ and Moissanite.
Diamond Nexus coating material is Corundum and other proprietary materials which is substantial, visible under microscopy, and has important measurable physical characteristics. The coating seals the stone's surface, greatly lowers porosity, and makes the simulant impervious to outside contaminants. It also increases the hardness and the ability of the simulant to resist scratches.
CZ are porous stones, are made from only two elements and are significantly lighter in weight than our stones. The softer stone wears down through wear and clouds very quickly. CZ are sold by some companies with a coating, termed "DLC" which means Diamond Like Coating. It is a thin "amorphous carbon" coating which is essentially pencil lead.If it is not coated thinly, it would be discolored, so this "coating" does not prevent the stone from damage or environmental issues.
Moissanite, though beautiful, does not act as mined diamonds when reflecting light, since it is double refractive. So it produces the "disco ball" effect when looking at it. Our stones are all going to be D in color and internally flawless, making them the ideal choice for gemstone settings when choosing an engagement ring.
I hope that this explains a bit more about the differences with the stones. I am happy to look into your order and assist you, and answer any other questions that you may have. You can email me your order information to firstname.lastname@example.org.
I look forward to assisting you. Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus.
Bought a platnium 1.75 solitare for $2,200.
With that said the ring is beautiful.....stopped by the Woodfield location and they clean it everytime I stop in with a special machine and it literally looks like a LED light is in it....If anyone says Diamond Nexus doesnt stand behind their product it's becuase they were paid by a competitor or mad they spend a down payment on a shiney rock...oh and my specific stone is 9.2 in hardness and by refrence a Ruby is 9.0...so we tried a home experiement to see if the ".2" was just fluff...and no it's not it scracthed my ruby! I dont reccomend this...but it's nto a CZ it's not a dimaond...but it shines like nothing else, they fix or replace it for the life......if you have to finance a peice of jewelry you shouldnt buy it....Can't go wrong with DNL..thanks Guys!
Btw anyone who says it's "plain CZ" just googled the false report put out by their competitors.

We really appreciate feedback from our customers and we are so very glad to hear that your experience has been such a positive one. That is wonderful that you are spreading the word about our amazing, eco-friendly stones that truly do look and feel just like mined diamonds, at a fraction of the price! We agree, that it is definitely not a good idea to start out in a relationship with tons of debt from a costly piece of jewelry. You made a great choice, keeping it affordable with Diamond Nexus! Dear Vilavanh, My name is Jennifer London, the Social Media Coordinator for Diamond Nexus. I want to first reach out and apologize for the error with the ring setting. We would be happy to replace the stone with the color you prefer in the ring. As for stone testing, the way jewelers test stones is by using a thermal conductor, which tests for heat conductivity. If the stone is pure carbon it does conduct heat. Our stone is made entirely differently and more complex than an ordinary CZ stone, but our stone is not pure carbon, so it will test negative. Jewelers have no other guess with a stone that tests negative than to assume it is a CZ,which our stone absolutely is not. We have lab reports proving our stone's composition on our website and I am happy to provide that information to you as well. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org and I would like the chance to work with you on getting you the ring that you wanted for your ceremony, the biggest day of your life. I know that we can re-instill your faith in Diamond Nexus and show you why we are the world leaders in lab created jewelry. Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We want to be able to hear all customer feedback, positive and negative and work on ways to better serve all customers as well as prevent errors. I look forward to working with you on a solution. Sincerely, Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus
I cannot express my love enough for this company... All I can say is BRAVO! Diamond Nexus, you all have done it again! We just got my fiancee's ring in the mail this week and he LOVES it! I ordered the Dundee for him and before I ordered the ring I made sure I got the right sizing by by using one of the ring sizer thingies that DNL sends you! It measured to be a size 10 and that is exactly what I ordered for him! It fits perfectly he truly loves the ring so such that he's already proudly wearing it on his left ring finger. :)
I also have my engagements rings from DNL, I have the 2ct Fever set and my gorgeous Jubilee! I am wearing my Jubilee right now and she just sparkles and has so much FIRE! She is my precious! ;) She is also engraved! :)
Thank you so much DNL, you guys have made it so easy to fall in love with the rings, they are just stunning! I cannot WAIT to do business with you all AGAIN! The team members are all so SUPER sweet! XOXO to them all. Best company, EVER! They are always there when I need something and answer my questions each and EVERY time! They all deserve a bonus!...
My fiancee ordered my ring from here and the only thing that I can say is that it was gorgeous "originally."
After wearing my ring for a day two stones fell out of the band. This caused me embarrassment to no end. People were nonstop about how beautiful my ring was and every time someone grabbed my hand I was hoping and praying that they didn't see the stones that had fell out.
After having it on my finger for two weeks - just to get the effect of being engaged - my fiancee finally decided to send it back. After being told that it would only take a couple of days, you could imagine my disappointment when I got it back a week and a half later.
Once I got my ring back it had been sized to my size and looking as beautiful as ever! I was so happy and I was finally rid of that horrible embarrassment that I felt every time that someone grabbed my hand UNTIL>>>>>>>
ANOTHER STONE FELL OUT OF MY RING!!!! I got my 2nd ring back and the very next day another stone fell out of my ring!!!
I love my fiancee very much and I'm not materialistic but you'd like your engagement ring to actually be durable! 3 stones fell out of the ring in less than 2 days each ring. HORRIBLE!
I currently have the ring on my finger that is still missing a stone and am contemplating whether or not my fiancee should just get a complete refund back! The inconvenience of having to find another ring just like this one is not even fun to think about.
The quality of the rings are just not there. I really don't care how nice they are or how well they return the rings "fixed" and free of charge. I shouldn't be afraid that my engagement ring my lose it's diamonds if I get caught washing my hands with it or "wave good bye to someone a little too passionately"
No not happy at all!

Hello, My name is Jennifer London and I am the Social Media Coordinator for Diamond Nexus. I want to first apologize for the frustrations that you have gone through, and to let you know that this is a highly unique situation. You definitely deserve a perfect engagement ring and it is not acceptable that you have had this happen, especially within days of receiving the ring. We do stand behind the workmanship on our rings and if for some reason there are stones coming out so quickly, I am concerned that there may actually be a defect in the ring.
We offer full money back refunds within the first thirty days of receiving the ring as well as also guaranteeing the work on our rings against defects. Repairs are stated on the website as taking about 7-10 business days, which begins at the ring's check in with our jewelers. Though we understand how inconvenient it can be to go without your ring, we always want to make sure that the ring is checked over and repaired completely. Though, we are sometimes able to get certain repairs expedited.
Other than ring defects, some people find that specific ring styles are not the right ones for their lifestyles. I would be very happy to speak with you and figure out what is happening with your ring and also work with you on a solution. I want you to have a beautiful engagement ring on your finger and to restore your faith in Diamond Nexus. Please email me your order information at email@example.com. I look forward to hearing from you soon~Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus.
My fiance proposed to me with a 4 prong tiffany style engagement ring through diamond nexus. I am ABSOLUTELY in love with it! It's exactly what I wanted and a wonderful ring to show off. The diamond is set nicely, and sparkles brilliantly. The engagement ring was so great we have since ordered the oasis eternity band as my wedding band.
Ordered my engagement ring and matching wedding band through Diamond Nexus and LOVE them! We have been looking at purchasing from Diamond Nexus for about a year, and a couple weeks ago we upgraded my natural diamond (which in the 8 months I wore it was already cloudy and discolored. The jewelry store we purchased it from there was nothing they could do...) Another reason we went with Diamond Nexus- amazing TRIPLE promise! Definitely would recommend to a friend! Amazing product, awesome service!!
Highly recommend! Beautiful quality jewelry at an affordable price.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
TOOK THE RING TO A JEWELER AND THEY SAID IT WAS A CZ STONE.
AND A POOR ONE AT THAT.
I KNOW I WAS BUYING A SIMULATED DIAMOND BUT AT LEAST IT COULD BE A GOOD SIMULATED DIAMOND.
NOT AN OVERPRICED CUBIC ZIRCONIA.
THEY WOULD NOT ISSUE A REFUND BECAUSE THEY SAID IT WAS A CUSTOM ORDER......
HOW IS IT A CUSTOM ORDER IF I BOUGHT IT FROM THE SITE???
THIS IS A SHADY COMPANY!
WISH I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT FROM ANOTHER COMPANY.
THERE ARE SO MANY NOW....
AND MANY MORE!!!

Dear Chris, my name is Jennifer London and I am the Social Media Coordinator for Diamond Nexus. I want to reach out to you in regards to your experience with Diamond Nexus. I am sorry that you were not happy with our customer service and I would be happy to get your order number and look into the account for you. I am not sure why you had been told that your order was custom and could not be returned unless you had purchased an item that specifically through our E-Steals promotion, and even then, we do allow trading up to other jewelry, even if there are specific rules that the items cannot be returned. As for the jeweler who told you that your stone was just a CZ, I know that they can only test to see if stones are pure carbon or not. As our stones are not pure carbon like mined diamonds, that jeweler had no other conclusion than assuming it was a CZ stone. Our stones are made completely differently from CZ, as ours are non-porous, made from a combination of elements and are rated harder on the Mohs scale. Diamond Nexus stones are guaranteed for life, not to chip, break, crack or discolor and they can actually cut glass. Cubic Zirconia stones will be porous, softer and cannot cut glass. They absorb elements from the environment and cloud very quickly. It is unfortunate that the jeweler had made you feel bad about choosing to purchase from us, when infact he didn't know what our stones are and how they are made. I am happy to look into your order for you and see what we can do, or atleast speak with you more about your purchase. Please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I look forward to speaking with you soon~Sincerely, Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus
My ring is so gorgeous!! I get so many compliments on it and I am madly in love with it! You cannot tell the difference between this diamond and a mined diamond, except that this one is much bigger and more brilliant than we could have afforded otherwise. Plus, it lets my conscience rest knowing that it is ACTUALLY conflict free. I didn't want to have our love symbolized by some poor child's misery. I have told all of my friends about Diamond Nexus and they are all in love with this company as well!

It was very thoughtful of you to take the time to write a review. I would love to know what ring you chose!
Have a wonderful day and enjoy showing off your beautiful new ring from Diamond Nexus- Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus.
I saddens me that some people write such cruel reviews about Diamond Nexus. I am in fact literally in love with this company. Like others I was a bit skeptical at first, because I was not educated about Diamond Nexus and it's goals as a company. But, I have put in a lot of time into doing research on Diamond Nexus. And now, like mentioned before hand I am truly in love with Diamond Nexus! I would rather have a Diamond Nexus diamond rather than a natural diamond mined from the Earth. With Diamond Nexus I will not have to feel the guilt of knowing that part of our precious planet was destroyed just so I can have my dream ring. I love the fact that these are man-made and that no one had to die in order for me to receive my engagement ring. I can look at my ring and 'ohhh and ahh' at it guilt free.
My ring is still being made right now, and I cannot wait to receive it and for my fiance to OFFICIALLY pop the big question, with the ring of course. My ring will be the Jubilee, it is beyond beauty itself. I cried after we have ordered my ring, and I know I will cry when I first lay my eyes on it.
I also love the customer service representatives, they are so sweet and so helpful. I adore them, they have been nothing but kind. I would know because I called them all the time if I had a question or needed anything. I also would like to point out that the members of the Nexus Design Studio are also very helpful and excellent!
Keep up the great service and keep the beautiful jewelry coming, please!
Jessica D. soon to be Mrs. L!
Here is an update! April 16, 2012
Oh, my lucky STARS! The ring just came in today and let me tell you it is breath taking! I love, love, love my frigging ring it is sooooooo beautiful. I cried like a baby when my fiancee put the adorable Jubilee ring on my left ring finger. Wow, just wow. It shines, it is huge, and it is simply stunning! Ugh, I cannot think of any other things to say... I am blown away by this ring and by Diamond Nexus. I love my ring, I know I have the most beautiful ring I could EVER ask for!
Jessica D. SOON TO BE MRS. L!
Thank you Diamond Nexus for your affordable jewelry. I am a college student and my fiancee is a PFC in the Army. I love my diamond (NEXUS) ring! People will always wonder how much he spent or how much his monthly payments are on it... Hehe...

We had a horrible experience with Diamond Nexus. They have a policy that only their people can solder bands to their rings or resize. We honored that and had them do both. We got the ring back in three weeks. It hadn't been resized and the band was soldered cockeyed against the ring. We were told this was the best they could do. We asked them to remove the band and resize the ring. Two weeks later, we get the ring back without the band and it still was not resized. After inspection, the band was thinner on one side than the other. We asked that they fix this defect and they refused. They said we would need to add gold to fix it. After a long argument, the sales person told us that we would just have to live with it. My fiance was really upset so I paid an additional $150 to have them fix it. We got the ring back two weeks later and it was resized, but they had done nothing to fix the defect. The stone was also tinted brown. Another jeweler suggested that they applied too much heat to the ring and damaged the stone. This proves that this stone is not made of anything similar to a diamond. Do not believe their manufactured diamond hype. They didn't add any gold that we could see either. I ordered another Tempest ring at the right size out of the box and had both rings measured and weighed by another jeweler. Our original ring was smaller than what we had purchased. Even with this proof, they refused to fix our ring. I returned the test ring for a refund. We are stuck with the original defective ring, and an additional $150 wasted in gold they never added. Do not trust this vendor. They are dishonest and do not stand by their services.
My husband proposed to me in the Spring of 2011 with a beautiful but modest diamond solitaire that was way out of our financial reach. I loved the ring and it's meaning but had him promptly return it. My husband was immigrating from another country just to be with me and I could not accept he spend such an extraordinary amount of money on a material item when we had bigger financial hurdles to come. I had spent at least 2 years prior to our engagement looking at Diamond Nexus rings and always told him that I would be more than thrilled to receive one. I guess when it came time to propose he just felt pressured by typical and materialistic "north american" expectations. Luckily for him, I am a practical and intelligent woman who places less value on "things" than love and family. After returning my diamond ring I spent a year with a Swarovski ring which I also loved. That was until Diamond Nexus had a huge sale and the "Rhapsody" ring I had been dreaming of for years finally became accessible to us! There were only 2 available, and thankfully one in my size. It was a much bigger TCW than I had hoped for, but the difference in price between the smaller and larger wasn't that much of a stretch, so I got a 14k gold, 3.86 "TCW" 3 stone emerald cut stunner and 2 ct emerald cut matching solitaire earrings for our 1 year anniversary! I chose the emerald cut as I was worried a multi-facet cut might give away the fact that my ring was not a diamond (even though I proudly tell people it's not!) Not a day goes by that I don't receive multiple compliments and I work and socialize with many affluent women with huge diamond rings that hardly get as much attention as mine. After all the research I did prior and my real life experience with Diamond Nexus I would HIGHLY recommend this diamond alternative to a woman open minded and informed enough to avoid the marketing scheme imposed on us for the last 80 years by the "Diamond Cartels". With their lifetime guarantee and the quality of their product, I will definitely be adding to my collection in the future and am certain these pieces will one day become family heirlooms that my daughters can cherish...
My fiance purchased my Diamond Nexus round solitaire engagement ring in July 2010 and we were married on June 23, 2012. The ring is absolutely flawless and has held up well in the past 2 years. I'm so sad to hear that others have had trouble with Diamond Nexus, but I will defend (and recommend) them forever!
I am notoriously clumsy and often break things. I have knocked my ring against railings, walls, corners, etc. and the stone and metal are still perfect! The only issue I have with it is the very sharp edges (the table and the girdle) are dulled ever so slighty (but hardly noticeable unless you're a perfectionist staring under a Lupe magnifier!)
Any woman should be happy to have such a beautiful ring as such an affordable price. I've gotten countless compliments on my solitaire and could not be happier with it!
I have not had to deal with their Customer Service (returns, exchanges, resizing), so I'm sure customer relations could be frustrating. But as far as the quality of the ring, we could not be happier!
This is actually for the diamond nexus in Shaumburg, IL. They were receptive to our emergency needs as a last minute change forced us to get what was on the floor. The salesperson understood our situation and got us beautiful rings for now that we can later get sized. This made the process painless and worry-free the week before the wedding.

I have the Angelix engagement ring with a cushion cut 1.03 carat center stone and it is BEAUTIFUL! We ordered my wedding band (the Oasis eternity band) TWO days before a flash sale for 20% off all rings. I. Was. BUMMED! So...being the obnoxious deal hunter I am, I started a chat with one of the customer service reps (poor Perry is probably sick of me by now!). HE GAVE ME THE DISCOUNT!! Woo!! You never know what you can get if you just ask for it! Come'on people!! I have had my ring for over two years now and it is just as sparkly and beautiful as it was the day my man proposed!! We have been so pleased with Diamond Nexus! We plan on using them for all of my jewelry needs!
My now husband got me the Westminister Abbey engagement ring and it is absolutely beautiful! It is a great quality ring. Our experience with Diamond Nexus was a good one. There were no issues and the ring arrived right on time.
Don't mean to be a downer for all you lucky couples who are engaged or soon to be engaged but I wanted to share my experience with Diamond Nexus. I purchased an engagement ring and tucked it away, waiting for the right moment to present it to my girlfriend. Unfortunately, that right moment never came and we ended up breaking up. It was two weeks outside the 30-day return policy and I explained my situation to the call center supervisor who simply would not make an exception and refused to allow me to return the ring for a refund. I was offered an even exchange. That's not what I wanted or needed. I pled with the supervisor to no avail. Now I'm stuck with a ring that I have no use for. I guess I can try to sell it but I know I'll receive only a fraction of it's cost. I'm very dissappointed with Diamond Nexus and will never shop there again. Here's the Live Chat conversation I had:
You are now chatting with rachel.kashishian
rachel.kashishian: Hello. How may I assist you today?
rachel.kashishian: Out side of the initial 30-days of receipt we would accept the item for our exchange policy; but a refund would not be allowed.
James Fontaine: Why is that? The condition of the ring is perfect. Can you please make an exception? I waited to present the ring to my girlfriend but the relationship took a drastic turn for the worse and she never even saw it.
rachel.kashishian: I am so sorry but outside the initial 30-days of receipt; we would not accept it for a full return.
James Fontaine: Is there a supervisor I can speak to?
rachel.kashishian: My name is Rachel, I am the Call Center Supervisor, I will note your order and I can also offer you to do an even exchange but I can not accept the item for a full refund.
James Fontaine: It's only two weeks over the 30 days. I've just ended a three and a half year relationship and have to move. I understand you have a "policy" but don't understand why you can't make an exception.
rachel.kashishian: I do understand James, however, we do offer a full 30-days from the day that you received your item.
rachel.kashishian: You have now had the item well over the 30-days; a full month, to send the ring in for a return
James Fontaine: I know how long I've had it. I was waiting to present it. So, you'd rather lose me as a long-term customer rather than be gracious enough and sympathetic enough to allow me to return the ring. It's not as if I was unsatisfied with the ring and took this long to make that decision. It's beautiful. There's no good reason that you've given why you can't give me a refund. Just that it's against your policy.
rachel.kashishian: I would be able to offer an even exchange at this time; not a refund.
James Fontaine: I don't need or want an exchange. Thanks for nothing.

Dear James, let me introduce myself. My name is Jennifer London, the social media coordinator at Diamond Nexus. I wanted to reach out to you after reading your post about the refund for your ring. I am so very sorry that the engagement has ended and I can completely empathize with you in wanting to be refunded for the ring. We do have a policy in place about returns being done within 30 days of purchase. But if you can email me your order information at email@example.com I will be happy to look into this and help you out in any way that I can. Certainly, this is a painful time for you and it is understandable that you are upset. We value you as a customer and I want to help you in figuring out a solution. I look forward to your email. Thank you and have a good day, Jennifer London, Diamond Nexus.

Dear John, Let me introduce myself. My name is Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator at Diamond Nexus. I first want to apologize for the frustrations that you have encountered. We back our products with a 30 day money back guarantee with no questions asked, along with a lifetime guarantee on the stones. So for any situation where stones have been lost from a ring, we would replace them for you. I am happy to look up your order if you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org so that I can further check into the situation for you and if there is anything I can do for you, please let me know. As for the stones looking like CZ, that is something that is not possible as our stones are made completely differently and will optically and physically resemble mined diamonds. Our stones are non-porous, are much harder than CZ and will actually cut glass. CZ are porous stones, softer and will absorb things from the environment and become cloudy very quickly. I hope that has explained a bit more about our stones for you, and I am happy to answer any questions that you might have regarding Diamond Nexus and our products. Please email me at your convenience and we can speak more about the issues that you had with the ring and if there is anything else that I can do to make this experience better for you. Thank you for your time, Sincerely,
Jennifer London~Social Media Coordinator~Diamond Nexus
I have bought two pairs of Josie earrings for me and my mom. I have a very high expectation on them. However, as I saw the earrings, they were dull and not shiny. I brought them to a diamond store and the owner can recognize that mine wasnt diamond from the hardness of the stone, the shine, and how the stone was cut. I am very very disappointed with diamond nexus!!! I wish i could return them backkkkkkkk but I live abroad and have paid the tax of those earrings!!!! I wrote a comment in the diamondnexus website but they didnt appear!!!!!

Dear Carmelia, My name is Jennifer London and I am the Social Media Coordinator for Diamond Nexus. I want to reach out to you about the recent purchase you made of the Josie earrings. I am sorry that you are not pleased with them and we do offer a full money back guarantee within 30 days of receiving items. As noted on our website with returns however, please note that we do not refund shipping charges or other taxes, duties, or brokerage charges imposed by countries outside the USA.
The Josie earrings are set with antique-style Rose cut stones in a round cut shape. The Rose cut is so named because its peaked top is thought to look like a rosebud. Variations of it have been around since the 16th century. This vintage cut is not as brilliant as the ideal cut round stones that we have set in our other jewelry.
We do however strive for 100% customer satisfaction and would be happy to accept the return minus the taxes and duties you have paid. You can email me at email@example.com and I would be more than happy to assist you with this or answer any questions that you may have. Again, I would like to apologize for the misunderstanding and would greatly like to help you. I look forward to your email. Sincerely, Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus.
I bought a DNL engagement ring a couple years ago, the diamond has fallen out 3 or 4 times, each time before they replaced it free of charge like it says on their website, with the most recent lost stone, they are charging 'labor and shipping costs' THIS IS NOT STANDING BEHIND YOUR PRODUCT.. im sure the ring will last for a month or two, (hence the 30 day money back guarantee) and then another stone will pop out... The staff is very kind, but my wife's ring has been in their 'shop' just about as long as it has been on her finger. If i could return the ring and get my money back I would.

Hello, let me introduce myself. My name is Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator at Diamond Nexus. I wanted to write to you to first apologize for the issues that your wife has had with her ring. That is certainly unusual but something that we will correct and repair for you both. We want to have you both 100% satisfied with the ring purchase. We do guarantee the stones for life, but after the first 30 days of wear, there are some small charges that will be added for the labor to replace missing stones. However,I am happy to look into your account for you to see what I can do to help. If you feel that you were charged fees in error, I will do what I can to have that refunded to you. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org and I am happy to help you both out. Sincerely, Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus

Thank you for the awesome review! We are so glad that you are satisfied with your purchase from Diamond Nexus! Please let us know if there is ever anything that we can do for you~ Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus
So I got married and engaged over a year ago and since then I lost weight. I was originally a 5.5 and now I am a 4.5 so I sent in my ring to get resized this was the email I got back from the company:
We have received your ring in for resizing however, unfortunately we cannot size this ring down any more then the current size it already is without disrupting the integrity of the ring. We can however add bishop bumps to the ring to make it 1/2 a size smaller. Please let us know what you would like to do and also to make payment on your repair. We will not put the ring into production until paid for in full and we have heard from you. We look forward to hearing from you!
So I called them and reminded them that bishop bumps wont work becuase I need it a WHOLE size smaller! The lady on the phone told me I could also buy my own ring guards to go along with it. WTF! I told her that is just going to look ugly next to my wedding perfectly sized wedding band (thank God i got my wedding band somewhere else!) She told me my other options were to buy a replacement or do a trade up which means I have to trade it in for a completely different ring at 50% more! I told her forget it just send the ring back and Ill cut my loses. Also told them to forget about the more than $1,000 custom ring I was going to purchase! Not to mention all of the friends and family I have told to shop here I am going to also let them know about this! I refuse to get another ring and spend another dime on this company when they promise a lifetime warrinty and resizing. I would also give this company a 0 in supporting the troops since I have to deal with this while my husband is away serving our country for 10 months in the middle east!!!!!!!!!!! Stay away from diamond nexus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Cassandra, My name is Jennifer London and I am the Social Media Coordinator for Diamond Nexus. I want to speak with you in regards to the ring not being sizable. This is simply due to the integrity of the ring being challenged with sizing down. Please understand that is something that any jeweler would tell you with specific ring styles. Unless the ring is a solitaire, any ring with accent stones would have issues being sized. We would do you and your ring a disservice by attempting to size it. We can offer you several different options in order to either help make your current ring fit or assist you in trading to a new ring in the size that will work for you. Since you had previously mentioned that several of the sizing options wouldn't work for you, perhaps trading up to a new ring would be best. We do have a policy that outside of the first 30 days of purchase, you would be responsible for trading up 1.5 times the value to a new ring while getting full credit of the first purchase on the new order. I can work with you though, in order to assure you get a new ring and feel satisfied with our offer. My email is Jennifer.firstname.lastname@example.org and I completely understand your desire to be able to wear your engagement ring, one of the most emotional and important purchases one can make in their lifetime. I look forward to speaking with you soon. Sincerely, Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus.
I got my ring for here and it's amazing we ordered online it fit perfect it was wrapped amazingly and the ring has a lifetime warranty.

Michelle Edwards was such a big help during the purchase of my rings. She was very patient, helpful and easy to talk to. I never had a hard time getting in contact with Michelle throughout the whole process. For every question I had, Michelle had the answer.
I would definitely recommend Diamond Nexus to friends and family. Thank you Michelle Edwards!!!
I have had my ring for less than a year and it just looks cheap. The center yellow emerald cut looks great, but the side white diamonds look fake, plastic, and foggy. No one compliments my ring. They all ask me if it's real. When I brought it to a jewelry store to compare today, it was a joke. I'm taking the center stone and putting it in a setting with real side diamonds. Thank goodness I got the yellow center stone. The clear just doesn't cut it :-( Sorry, maybe for earrings or a cocktail ring. But not a wedding ring.

Hello, my name is Jennifer London, the Social Media Coordinator for Diamond Nexus. I wanted to contact you about your recent purchase with us. I am sorry to hear that you are not pleased with the ring and would love to assist you in figuring out a solution so that you have a ring that you are proud to show off. Our stones are guaranteed not to become cloudy, so most likely it has come into contact with something. I would love to find out when you had purchased the ring and what style you had chosen. Usually, a great professional cleaning works wonders on jewelry that we wear everyday. Exposure to lotions, chemicals and hair products can leave our jewelry looking dull. So one option would be to have us take a look at the ring, either cleaning it or replacing any stones that you are no happy with. We can also arrange an exchange for you, in the case of a defect, as well. I would also discourage you removing the center stone and having another jeweler set it, as that not only voids the warranty, but unless the jeweler knows about our stones, could potentially damage them. Our stones do not take direct heat and have to be cold set like Rubies. Please feel free to email me at email@example.com and we can go over options for you, to guarantee your customer satisfaction and that you have a ring that you are proud to wear and show off. Thank you for your review and have a wonderful day. Sincerely, Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus.
I got my earrings from here and live them.

That is terrific Stephanie! We are so glad that your purchase met your expectations and that you are happy with them! Please let me know if there is anything I can do to assist you in the future. All the best, Jennifer London~Social Media Coordinator~Diamond Nexus
I received my engagement ring from diamond nexus lab, and at first it was gorgeous, because of course i was drunk on love! Then I noticed that the center stone was completely crooked. I sent it back and they fixed it, about a month later i got my ring back and the center stone started getting super foggy? So I called them again, because they DO NOT return customer service emails. They said to just return the ring and they would replace the center stone, so I got a new ring and the side diamonds started falling out. WTF? SO I called them again and I am on my fourth or fifth version of my engagement ring, and the center stone is starting to get foggy again. I am probably going to switch to a moissanite center stone, still reasonable and not an imitation diamond. Good luck, at this point I would not reccomend, even though the price is sooooo tempting. Just wait for your shipping and repair costs to keep sending it back!

I LOVE THEIR JEWELRY!
My husband and I ordered my wedding ring(which was actually a engagement ring style because i didn't want the traditional band.) I was absolutely amazed. Everybody thought that it was the real deal. I am extremely rough with my ring and I never take it off(it goes through all the elements rain, snow, bleach, etc) I have not had one problem with it. I actually loved this ring so much that I had them customize a wedding band to go with it. They process was amazing and everyone involved did an amazing job at keeping in contact with me. My Wedding band was a 3 stone setting and is over 4 CTS, every store that I have been to didn't have anything to compare this too.
I get so many complements on my rings and I am so glad that I went through them to fulfill my dream rings.
THANK YOU DXL
I got the Cinderella staircase ring and so far I love it, it sparkles and have nothing to envy tot he real diamonds.Price was excellent for the 1.2 center carat stone, and the service they offer had worked great for me.
I am also trying to sell oneof my nexus lab rings because we end up getting 2 sets and my sister did not end up getting married, so if anyone is interested and want a cheaper price and info send me an email I will gladly respond, email@example.com

Thank you for your purchase from Diamond Nexus! We are so happy that you love your new jewelry and that you made the smart decision and chose something eco-friendly that will save you tons of money! I am sure you have lots of things that you would rather spend a few thousand on, rather than the chemistry of a stone on your finger. If you ever need anything, please let us know! Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus
I contact Diamond Nexus today to report a problem that I had with my rings. Within the day, my problem was no more and Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure that everything was taken care. I really appreciate the time she took with my situation, and can only but recommend them for Jennifer's customer service!
Hey I see people bitching about the rings.... ITS A FAKE, you know that going into it. My fiancee and I decided that we could not afford the ring we wanted right now so we chose DNL. I guess they should say its a CZ if labs are testing it as such, but all I know is the ring is beautiful, the setting is solid well built and without flaw, the stones have a ton of fire and she is proud to wear it. Also we dealt with Scott in Customer Service and he was great so I dont know what to tell you other then if you want a diamond go broke and buy it if you want to be responsible and get a nice fake then buy it here.
Unlike most of these comments, I don't work at Diamond Nexus. Bought this from a ring and at first it was great. Then the stone actually chipped! I was told these were as hard as diamonds, just as it says on the site. My girlfriend wasn't punching diamonds or anything so I know it's inferior in hardness. I called them and told them and they said that because my ring was set by another jeweler, the warranty was voided. WHAT A RIP! Then they said if I wanted, that I could buy a new diamond and send them my ring to set. It cost 50 $ bucks for a "setting kit" which is essentially a box to put your ring in. Then you have to pay another $50 to have it reset. The customer services didn't respond to my email and I had to call to get this information. They totally didn't care and said it was probably the people that set my ring's fault. This is not at all true, I had the ring for months before it chipped and got it set at Micheal C. Fina in NY, a really nice place. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Hi, I first want to introduce myself. I am Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator at Diamond Nexus. I am really sorry to hear that you have had issues with your stone and that after another jeweler set it, the warranty was voided. We do unfortunately have that policy in place in order to insure that the stone is set correctly, in a setting. Our stones don't tolerate heat and have to be cold-set. But I do want to see what I can do for you, so if you are able to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order information, I will see what I can do for you. I look forward to assisting you soon. Jennifer London, Social Media Coordinator, Diamond Nexus
Sorry, but the 1ct diamond earrings that I purchased are no comparison to my "real" diamond earrings. They dont look good at all. Poor imitation.
I was a little frustrated with many of the previous comments because they look like they were written by some company employees for Diamond Nexus Labs.
Here's my story if it helps: I sincerely thought it was a man made diamond or "lab" diamond because of all their wording. I took the ring in to get sized after getting it (this was about 3 months ago) and when you go to get it sized the jewelry store has to write down what the stones are and what they appraise at. They said it was cubic zirconia. I said that I had specifically called their customer service department and they flat out said it was not cz or any type of cz. I felt betrayed because they told me no, and a really professional jewelry store said of course it is, here is how we can tell, we've seen these come in and showed me some independent research/lab report by a quick google search on their computer.
So these are cubic zirconia and they are falsely misleading consumers to believe they are not cz.
Nice setting though, I might order some cz off of Ebay and get it set there.
I get SO many compliments on my engagement ring and wedding ring! The husband and I decided to get these as my "daily rings". GORGEOUS! And their customer service is surpassed by none. HIGHLY recommended =)
I've had my ring for 4 years now. My husband purchased a 500 dollar ring because we were unsure of the quality having never bought anything but real diamonds. Now I have finally decided I want a bigger ring and we are about to purchase an upgrade. I have never had a problem with my ring. Never had anyone question the quality. You have to make sure to clean the stones at least once month, like with any other jewelry, to keep the sparkle. I would recommend dn to anyone. You are going to see bad reviews everywhere. Go to zales website they have them too!
I must say, that I Love my DNL rings. My fiance and I drove 2hrs to walk in the store because I was unsure of the quality and although the website is GRAND, I wanted to see for myself. When we got to the store, I thought, I wonder why they dont have more locations. Upon entering the store, we were greeted (just like lets say, Rogers and Holland) by a knowledgeable rep. She showed us everything we wanted to see and was very patient. So many choices! Because I was overwhelmed, the choice became a blur and then it appeared that the stones had a kaleidoscope effect, the rings glistening colors made me think costume jewelry. I started to think, Will everyone be able to tell that its not a "mined" diamond. Truthfully, I told the rep, that I would be right back. We left the store, went to Rogers & Hollands, and was no more impressed. Too costly, small stones, and alot of the natural diamond centers were cloudy. So we went back and boy am I glad. The 2nd time around I spotted the ring right away but we still went back home to mull it over. Within 2 days, we placed our order on a Monday and the rep Rushed it, so we got the box within 4 days (ENGRAVED). Wow, talk about fast. THE PRESENTATION WAS BEAUTIFUL. I even picked my fiances band, and when we opened the pkg together, we were SO PLEASED. Beautiful!!! All of our friends were so impressed and cant even tell the difference. Matter of fact, a few thought the rings were Platinum set because of the elegance and style. My new husband says, I hooked him up! Looks like he broke the bank! We are are super pleased and glad that we didnt change our minds. Love him and Love the rings!
I received many many compliments, and it was above my fiance's expectations.I have several friends getting married in the next few years and they were all so excited to hear about being able to lease such beautiful jewelry from Diamond Nexus Labs. Thank you again for your help.
The ring my husband got for me was from Diamond Nexus Labs , and it was a complete surprise. I didn't know he ordered it, but he told me afterwards. From the ring itself, I would have to say that it is a very beautiful and classy ring, looks very high quality.
I purchased a wedding/engagement set from DN 3 years ago because of the quality and value of their product. I was disappointed when I started to notice small chips and cloudiness in the main stone. When I sent the set back to DN for repair it was discovered that the local jeweler that soldered the two rings together damaged the stones then ultimately switch the main stone with a CZ without my knowledge. I must say that the news of this was very disappointing for my wife and I.
Keeping a long story as short, I was in contact with Jennifer London throughout the entire repair process. Her concern with our situation was sincere and her helpfulness and advice were immeasurable. She stayed involved and served as a liaison between the repair jeweler and myself. My wife didn't enjoy having the ring off her finger so Ms. London even made arrangements to expedite the repair and return shipping to the shortest time possible.
The ring arrived today and we are very pleased with the results of our repair transaction. Jennifer London and DN went above and beyond their warranty responsibilities and repair procedures. After having such a positive experience with DN I can't understand some of the negative ratings and comments on this site.
I truly appreciate their dedication to costumer satisfaction and product quality, a true rarity in retail these days. I will continue to do business with DN and will gladly recommend their products to others.
One more word of advise. Take the time and effort to only have DN jewelers work on DN jewelry.
The ring is beautiful, My wife is overjoyed, and I'm a satisfied costumer.
THANK YOU JENNIFER LONDON & DIAMOND NEXUS!!!
Glenn & Krista B.
I bought a bonds of love ring, absolutely loved it, but the band discoloured after 3 months. I admit I wear my ring all the time, but still was very disappointed. When I contacted them, took a few days for them to get back with me. Blah, blah, blah... Anyways, bottom line I sent back old, ring, they are, as we speak, making me a new ring, and not only that, they actually have let m e order a complimentary piece of my choice, FREE! At first, it was a little rough, but the customer service is excellent, and they will bend over backwards to make you a happy customer. RECOMMEND HIGHLY AND NO, I HAVE NO AFFILIATIONS WITH DNL.
Highly recommend if you are looking for beautiful, cost effective jewelry. My ring is a 3.6 carat diamond that was man made which made it more affordable. My wedding band has a small chip in it which I will send back for a new one. I was VERY happy with my ring and didn't care one bit that it was a man made diamond instead of natural. It's prettier and bigger than any of my friends' rings and no one suspects that it's man made. Very very happy and am confident they will exchange the chipped band quickly and respectfully.
Everything was fantastic when I first bought my wife's engagement ring and wedding band from them. No need for insurance because they will replace for free lost or loose gem stones. I have recommended them to many friends that like me, reject the current paradymn of blood shed.
My wife's engagement ring lost a diamond and so I sent it in with the wedding band for fixing and a cleaning for X-mas. They lost my wife's wedding band and expected me to buy a new one with a "25% discount." Nice. They screw up and instead of taking responsibility, they want me to pay.
No longer will I recommend this company.
Cannot say it enough, love them, love them, LOVE THEM!!!!!!
The ring I got from diamond nexus labs is a 1.5 carat asscher cut diamond set in white gold. It was about $500. They create diamond simulants--it looks identical to a diamond. No one can tell. Everyone I show and then tell cannot believe it. I feel like I have to tell people because they see it and think "wow you're fiance spent a ton." I had some moral issues with diamonds and I wanted Joe and I to be able to spend our budget on other things. I was worried that when it came it would look like costume jewelry or cloudy or have a disco ball effect like moissanite, but it did not. Its stunning and I love it. Even if you end up getting a diamond ring, they would be a great vendor to look to for some quality earings or a necklace for your special day.
(also they have a killer warranty and excellent service)
I received my engagement ring a Diamond Nexus Eternal Flame, in 2005. It was so lovely and has been since a few weeks ago. I admit that I am very hard on my jewelry. I do not remove it for anything. We renovate houses so I do a lot of work with saws, power drills, drywall, etc. I just simply cleaned my rings and they always came out sparkling.
A few weeks ago my friend asked me to help him buy a 'diamond' ring for his wife, I suggested Diamond Nexus. We ordered the ring and it was fantastic, she loves it. But it got me looking closer at mine. Through a jeweller's loupe I could see a scratch across the surface of the main stone yet it still sparkled when it was cleaned.
I contacted Diamond Nexus they said that the warranty would cover it! I've sent it back and I am now anxiously waiting it's return. I've upgraded to a certified signature stone, I just had to pay the difference between the classic stone and signature. Even with all that I put that ring through it still performed wonderfully. The setting was tight, the stones still sparkled. I own and wear a lot of diamond rings and the Nexus ring didn't look fake against the real thing. I did however lose a diamond from one of my real diamond rings, surprisingly there was no warranty program in place for that :(
Bottom line: Diamond Nexus has a great warranty program, their settings are as good as any you would purchase in a jewelry store, even damaged the stones looked as good as the real thing, customer service was great! And my friend is still loving hers, the 10kt gold setting is stunning as is the stone.
I'm already marrid and my husband and I had eloped. I didn't have and engagement ring and I really hated the idea of spending a fortune on a diamond ring. I ran across Diamond Nexus by accident and I am SO glad we did. I was able to pick out the perfect ring for myself at the fraction of the price and everyone had been envious of the beautiful ring I received. My matching band did not match at first, we had origionally ordered it seperately, the euro shank was different and didn't match up with the engagement ring. The customer service personel was very kind and professional. I was able to return the band and receive it back within the stated time. I have since bought more jewelery from DN and have had NO problems. My bands still don't match perfectly, but it's close enough.
My Husband originally purchased a 1 carat natural diamond for me when we got engaged. It cost over $5,000. After researching man made diamonds we looked into moissanites. It artificial light it looked beautiful. In natural light it was very green and immediately you could tell it was not real. SO I decided to try DNL. I am so glad I did. I loved their jewelry so much that I ended up purchasing a 3 carat custom diamond engagement ring and I really couldn't be happier. It is gorgeous!! I ended up a year later taking my original natural stone and making a ring for my daughter so she would have the original ring Daddy proposed to mommy with!! OH and by far and away the best customer service ever!!
My husband purchased this ring for our 25th anniversary. My "real" 0.79 ct Marquis was not taken back for exchange as promised by our vendor when we attempted to do so and we were VERY disappointed. I was browing the web when I discovered DNL and my first purchase was a 2 ct Quadrato ring in white gold which I gave to my husband. I did my homework and bought his ring on sale for $600 as a trial run. We followed the sizing directions DNL provided and his ring was 1 size too big which I discovered was due to the plastic tool inaccuracy. Maybe I did it incorrectly, however, when I checked the plastic tool vs. a jewelers ring the size was off, so be aware to double check size with a jeweler tool. I sent it back for sizing which was done for free and promptly returned to me. My phone experiences were great!
After this my husband selected the Eternia band set, which we customized with a 2 ct. cushion cut center stone. We had the center stone laser engraved as well as having the bands engraved. It took a bit of time I'll admit, and was well worth the wait. Six days on my finger I heard a "boing" sound & the center stone was gone. I contacted DNL & got immediate & excellent customer service. Because of what happened we were offered the opportunity to upgrade the size of the stone & I selected a 4.12 Asscher cut center stone to replace the 2 ct. cushion cut. I had my ring quickly returned to me and all I can say is OMG!!! OMG!!! OMG!!! The Eternia wedding band has over 3 ct. of stones on its own & my engagement ring has over 4 ct. in the center & almost 3 ct. on the rest of the ring. I don't know that I could save money in a lifetime to be able to buy a ring which is 10 ct. in diamonds. I get compliments everywhere I wear my wedding ring now & my jeweler (selling "Hearts on Fire" diamonds) thinks it's real. They cleaned it for me, in my viewing on my request, & didn't bat an eye that I asked for it to be cleaned in my presence. IMHO if I were to do it over again, I would buy a DNL ring, invest the money & buy a house or travel for what I would have paid for this ring. I do NOT work for DNL. Let's get REAL here people!! Nobody & no company is perfect. When there was a problem with my purchase DNL jumped on making it right. I also have a mink coat & a nice Volvo C70 convertible & have traveled for what I would have spent on a "real" ring. It's insured & I enjoy it tremendously. If you are in doubt, take the ride to the one retail store that DNL has & check it out. My rings STILL shine beautifully after two years & I have made other purchases since then & am happy with my DNL experience. The presentation dark wood boxes, Godiva chocolates, black box wrapped with white ribbon is quite impressive and.....well....I could go on & on but you get the idea!
I won the Diamond Nexus Makeover in 2011 and LOVED all the staff up to the CEO. My wedding ring from them is spectacular and it is still amazing even two years later. I get compliments almost everywhere I go when I wear it! Sometime I am almost embarressed because people rave about it. I love the quality and craftmanship of it! No one can tell the difference between Diamond Nexus lab or nature created diamonds! They are amazing!

Many of our customers purchase the biggest carat size they can afford because that's what the mined diamond industry has always told them they should do. However, with Diamond Nexus Labs' prices, you can probably afford a much larger stone than you realize. Some stones may be TOO big for your tastes. You may find our size chart helpful in determining how large you want your stone to be. (Most people prefer something between 1.00 and 2.00 carats.) If you change your mind after you receive your purchase, don't worry; our 30 day satisfaction policy makes it easy to exchange for a new size or style.
