I love diamonds of Palo Alto! We decided right away that we wanted a custom made ring, but didn't know much on how to get this done. When we walked into Diamonds of Palo Alto we were instantly greeted by Shara (who by the way is wonderful) who sat us down and discussed the process of a custom ring and the difference between each diamond style. It was a crash course in diamonds which was great, because I had no idea about the 4 C's. My ring came out absolutely gorgeous and I get numerous compliments on it. I've already had the ring for about 8 months, but about a month ago I decided that I wanted to add some beading and millgrain to my ring and they did it for me for free. They are not happy until you are 100% happy with your ring. I am so pleased I am going to get my wedding band from them as well! By the way, they do have gorgeous rings in the store for sell that are not custom if you are looking for premade ring.
Great custom designed ring to match my engagement ring. The service was excellent and efficient. My ring was done in approximately 3 weeks. The only discrepancy was the price. I initially was quoted X at the time of service, but when I went to pay the final invoice, I noticed that it was about $700 more than what I was quoted. I simply advised the representative of the discrepancy and they adjusted it without any issues. A minor setback, but overall I'm happy with how my ring turned out.
