We are a professional couple in our mid-30s, who really enjoy music. We had a traditional wedding with 150 guests and a sit-down meal. Elevation Swing and Variety Band played for our reception, after dinner, for dancing.

We thought this band was GREAT. They are skilled musicians and good performers. THEY looked like they were having fun up there. The music was great for dancing. The tunes were familiar to us and our guests, so everybody had a lot of fun. The music was loud enough to enjoy dancing to, but not too loud for our guests to talk and socialize.

One guest commented about how good they were at reading the crowd and playing the right music for the moment. Lots of guests loved the music. A couple of people asked, "where did you find them? They were great!"

And, most importantly, my mom (who doesn't usually dance) said that one of her favorite parts of our wedding was dancing as a family as the band played "We Are...

It really made our night to have you all there to provide the backdrop for our evening. The personal touch with the amazing music made for a perfect night! My mom will be 87 years old in December and I think she was on the dance floor more than anyone else! (I'm not sure I have ever seen her dance more than a minute or two at a time in my life!) wOW, dIANE, YOUR MUSIC WAS EXACTLY WHAT we had in mind. Your rendition of It Had to be You was perfect, and every time I hear it now I recall the moment, my first romantic dance with my adorable husband. Jim lovesyour voice and style, as do I. Diane was very professional. She was early, set up on time and was ready before we were. She played the music we requested. She had some very good suggestions of her own, based I am sure from her vast experience.
We would strongly recommend her to anyone interested.

All around EXCELLENT!! I didn't have to worry one bit about anything related to my ceremony music and cocktail hour/dinner music. Diane and JR are very professional, and best of all they sound GREAT. People told me the music gave them tears in their eyes during the ceremony. They are very flexible and easy to get ahold of. If you want an extremely good value you for your money don't hesitate to hire them, you will not be dissapointed!

Diane and her musicians were fabulous! Their music was even better in person than at our 1st meeting with them. The music was seamless and everyone enjoyed them. They took some requests and her band was so nice and friendly. The special surprise request that I requested for my husband was a delight- Gary loved it! They were simply awesome! The ceremony music was beautiful and exactly what we wanted!

Diane is extremely professional and reliable. I listened to her vocals online and again in person. Once I decided to hire Diane, she took care of the rest. She showed up to rehearse on the wedding day, and she sounded exquisite during the ceremony!

I had diane as my soloist, and Serenna as my harpist. I was amazed of how beautiful the music was, and it was worth every penny! Diane was there to answer any questions that i had efficiantly and quickly. I recommend Diane Martinson Live Music, for any special occasion.

Diane Martinson and the Elevation Band provided a pianist during our cocktail hour, a combo (3 musicians) during our sit down dinner and 9 piece band for dancing. They were very professional, able to play a variety of music and very versatile. Music for dinner was sophisticated and jazzy - and when it came time to dance, our guests flocked to the dance floor. They also played longer than their contract required. I would highly recommend them.

They had very good Djing service and didn't even cost that much.
