After reading all the reviews already given, I can honestly say Diane is consistent. We had looked a several different cake venders before settling with Diane. It wasn't hard choice once we discovered her. She was very prompt in responding to emails and answering any and all questions. I couldn't begin to describe how great our cake tasting went with her. She was so professional. She never hesitated to say if she could or couldn't do something. Diane is upfront and it made me trust that what she said she could do, would be done to the best of her abilities. I also liked the fact she has a ring of cake friends that support each other, that way, even if a life emergency were to happen, our cakes would still be delivered. I had to leave the taste for last. Yes our cakes were beautiful and exactly what we wanted, but the taste; that was exactly what our guest wanted.
I will always highly recommend Diane in any and all cake making (not just weddings). I'm sure I will get to do business with her again and I look forward to it. THANK YOU DIANE!!!

Not only is the cake so moist & yummy delicious; but Diane listens to what YOU want & really delivers a one on one personal experience you should get for such an important element of your BIG day. She'll show you what different sizes/shapes will look like & exactly how many people the cake will feed; extremly helpful for decision making. She even sent me home with samples for my now Hubby to try since he was out of town when I went for the tasting.

Diane went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect and it was perfect! The cake was beautiful; looked exactly like what we discussed & of course it tasted out of this world! Diane was amazing. She was able to give us exactly what we wanted in a wedding cake. When I finally saw the cake at the reception I was floored. It was so beautiful. Everyone at the reception was raving about how it tasted. People were trying to sneak seconds! I highly recommend Diane's Sweet Treats. She was worth every penny.

Diane was great to work with you. The best part of working with her, is she works hard to make your vision come true. She treats you like a friend or family member and not like a client. Diane all ways made my husband and myself very comfrotable at all times. Very friendly and has been around weddings, so also willing to give advice on other apsects. She has greqt knowledge about all of thngs. We even valued her opinion on our unique favor idea. Diane was absolutely fabulous to work with!
We first found Diane online, while I was deployed to Iraq. So most of our communication for almost a year was strictly through email. Diane was so helpful, and very prompt with responding to any questions we had about our cake.
When we came for our tasting, Diane provided us with so many different possible combinations for cake flavors. (They were all delicious!!) We had a hard time trying to find just one. Since we were having a fall wedding, we wanted a fall 'tasting' cake. Diane worked with us to create exactly what we were looking for.
When I first saw our cake, I was speechless. It was so much more than I could have ever imagined. It was exactly what I was looking for, and more. I think our photographer has like 30 pictures of me looking at the cake at different points throughout the night. It was just gorgeous! The detail work was so pretty, I almost didn't want to cut it.
When we did, OH MY GOODNESS! It was delicious! So moist, and flavorful. Exactly what we wanted. Our guests raved about it. Several guests took extra pieces!
Working with Diane was an absolute pleasure. She was so helpful throughout the entire process. I would DEFINITELY recommend her to anyone who needs a special occasion cake. I know that I will definitely return to her again!

Diane was awesome to work with and so supportive throughout the whole process. And also responded quickly to emails. Not only did she do cupcakes for the wedding but also a groom's cake for our rehearsal dinner. Both came out awesome and we received compliments all night!! Our cake was wonderful we heard many compliments on taste and how it looked. We choose the sour cream cake with strawberry filling and for the top tier we picked coconut cake with chocolate filling cant wait to taste it in our 1 year anniversary. We had Diane make our wedding cake and she blew us away. It was coconut cake with raspberry filling, which many of our guest that where hesitant about coconut ended up going back for seconds. But not only was the cake delicious it was absolutely stunning! And not only have we had our wedding cake but our baby shower cake, and before we know it..we will be going back for baby's first birthday cake(and I'm sure a few cakes in between)! We're a Diane's Sweet Treats customers for life.

Diane was wonderful to work with. She made sure that what she gave us was exactly what we wanted. I changed my mind a few times and she never got upset. I went in with a few ideas. She then showed me her wonderful scrapbooks with pictures of cakes she had done in the past. I ended up loving one of those designs and she worked with me to get it exactly the way I wanted. I would highly recommend Diane to anyone looking for a cake for a special occasion. She does amazing work and is so personable.

Diane made our wedding cake in Jan 2010, and subsequently two birthday cakes. All were delicious! We love the look of her fondant covered cakes, as well as her selection of flavors and fillings. She is a very patient woman; we spent a lot of time determining what the wedding cake would look like, and we were thrilled with the results.

I can not say enough for the beautiful wedding cake that was made for us by Diane's Sweet Treats. She was very professional and helped us to create the most amazing, yet simple design. It was much more than we even hoped for and it made our wedding day so special. Our guests could not stop complimenting on how gorgeous it was. Diane is very much a perfectionist when it comes to her cakes - exactly who you want to have creating one of the most important cakes of your life! She is very detail-oriented and thorough and spent a lot of time corresponding with me to ensure the cake met our expectations. It was perfect and I have ordered all of my cakes through her in the four years since and have recommended her to many.

Diane's Sweet Treats was the perfect choice for our wedding cake. The cake was absolutely delicious and it was gorgeous as well. I knew the design that I wanted and she made suggestions that were the perfect touch to make the cake that much more spectacular. It was exactly what I wanted and what I had dreamed of.

We also chose the sweet petites for our favors. They're bite size pieces of cake covered in minty chocolate. She even drizzled them in our wedding colors. They were a huge hit!

I should have written this two years ago, since I just celebrated my two year anniversary a couple weeks ago. Maybe the fact that I'm coming back to finally write a review after two years will make it that much more meaningful?? I was browsing through pictures the other day, and came across a pic of our wedding cake (see the penguin cake on Diane's website!), and I was once again overwhelmed by the perfection of that cake. It was exactly what I wanted (although not a typical wedding cake), and it was provided to me on Christmas Eve, which was probably not the most convenient time for a bakery to whip up such a beautiful wedding cake. The kids that were at the wedding are still talking about that cake, and so are the adults. And so are we. The next time I need any sort of specialty cake, I will go straight to Diane and beg her to wow us again with her magic. I suggest you do the same!

Diane went above and beyond for our wedding. My florist didn't provide Gerbera daisies for our cake as discussed, and not only was the cake delicious but it had the exact flowers I wanted with a swift last minute switch of some arch decorations. She didn't have to go that extra mile, but when I saw the cake I said "Oh my God, she made it happen, and it looks as gorgeous as I dreamed", my husband doesn't eat sweets but replied with "Wow, even I can't wait to eat some"

We both appreciated the planning, cake tasting, and her flexibility throughout the process. We can't wait to eat the top for our anniversary!! We look forward to using her services for our childrens birthdays, and special occasions of all sorts.

Diane did an amazing job on my daughter's First Birthday cake and smash cake. I know this is a site for weddings, but my guests said that their cake was better than most wedding cakes they have tasted. I have to agree. Not only was my daughter's cake beautifully sculpted, it was deliciously made. Diane worked with me via email to design the perfect cake for me and I was NOT disappointed in the least. I highly recommend Diane's cakes and treats for weddings and all of your special occasion needs.

Diane's Sweet Treats created the perfect wedding cake for our outdoor/garden style wedding. With it's simple white tiers and elegant Swiss dots, our guests still comment on how lovely our cake looked. Diane was so wonderful to deal with throughout the whole process. Her attention to detail and warmth really meant a lot to us. Seeing her on our wedding day setting up the cake as I arrived from the hair salon was reassuring. And to top it off, the cake was absolutely DELICIOUS. I have never eaten such good cake. We began eating the top of the cake when we got back to NYC after our CT wedding because it was just too good to freeze for a year! And a year later, we are celebrating our anniversary with another cake from Diane's Sweet Treats. A++

I cannot provide enough positive feedback about Dianes Sweet Treats..The cake was absolutely beautiful that she designed for my wedding. She also provided her specialty cake balls, "sweet petites" and cookies as other desserts for the wedding. I received the most amazing reviews from my guests at the wedding about the cake and the dessert. The best part of all this is that I did not have to stress over the cake at all. I had used Diane before and was confident in her creativity and professionalism to know she would give me the best product possible. It's such a relief to be able to have that trust in a vendor and know that you are only going to receive the best, especially during the whole wedding planning process.

My first experience with Diane was for my wedding cake and she was the only cake vendor I met with because I was instantly impressed with her warm nature and attention to all details (and fabulous cake samples). She then did our one year wedding anniversary cake for my hubby and I, and recently did my baby shower cake and is doing a wedding cake for a close friend too. Her cakes are delicious and people rave about them. She is the one and only cake designer as far as I am concerned. She will never let anyone down!

Spectacular cake!

Diane was excellent- she took the time to thoroughly understand what we wanted and the overall feeling of our wedding. The tasting went very well, she was on time, no-nonsense and thought of and planned for all possible scenarios. We really appreciated her professionalism and excellent service, and she gave us a fair price on a memorable, beautiful, and delicious cake. Follow-up service was also great- I contacted her for help with a last-minute cake need and she was very willing to go well out of her way to help me out. I would definitely recommend her for any occasion at all.

My wedding cake was absolutely beautiful. Diane was able to accommodate me at the last minute with cupcakes for the children that were attending my wedding. They were a big hit with the kids. I received a lot of compliments on the cake and was sure to mention Diane's name.

We went over budget with our cake but it was money well spent. It looked amazing and tasted even better!

Diane was absolutely wonderful to work with. We spoke briefly over the telephone and I explained to her what I was looking for. We scheduled an appt. and she had about 6 or 7 cake samples, along with varius fillings & even some of the frostings. She was very responsive & our cake was absolutely delicious and it looked stunning. All of our guests thought so too. I will definitely be working with Diane again in the future.
